First lady Melania Trump let loose her anger Wednesday over reality TV star Kathy Griffin’s photo shoot that showed her holding a prop made to look like the severed head of President Donald Trump.
“As a mother, a wife, and a human being, that photo is very disturbing,” said the first lady, joining the rounds of condemnation issued by the Trump family.

“When you consider some of the atrocities happening in the world today, a photo opportunity like this is simply wrong and makes you wonder about the mental health of the person who did it,” she added.
Although Griffin has apologized for sharing the photo on social media, she has been roundly criticized — even by some who vehemently dislike the president — for going too far.

“I work with Christians whose family members have been decapitated.@KathyGriffin is sick and disgusting,” Rev. Franklin Graham commented on Facebook and Twitter.
May God bless our @POTUS, @realDonaldTrump, and his family and protect them from all evil. https://www.facebook.com/FranklinGraham/posts/1523123411077168 …- 3,710 3,710 Retweets
Taking a cue
from the left, we must now demand that all her shows be canceled &
everyone on the left permanently disavow Kathy Griffin
The fact
that Barron Trump saw this Kathy Griffin video is sickening. Kathy
Griffin is truly what the left represents. Violence & insanity.
However, Tyler Shields, the photographer who took the image, said the fuss was to be expected.“That’s the beautiful thing about stuff like this: there’s always going to be backlash. I think a lot of people fear backlash,” he said. “I think there will be a lot of people who will absolutely hate this, but again, that’s the beauty of it. That’s the fun of making things. Am I saying that anyone should actually be killed? No, it’s like a movie. How many movies are there where the president gets killed or this happens? Tons upon tons.”
“The great thing about making something like this is that, look, you make it and people have their opinion on it and that’s the fun of it. A compliment and an insult are the same thing; the insult just takes longer to write,” he also said.
