People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is an organization that publicly claims to represent the best interest of animals — indeed their “ethical treatment.” Yet approximately 2,000 animals pass through PETA’s front door every year and very few make it out alive. The vast majority — 96 percent in 2011 — exit the facility out the back door after they have been killed, when Pet Cremation Services of Tidewater stops by on their regular visits to pick up their remains. Between these visits, the bodies are stored in the giant walk-in freezer PETA installed for this very purpose. It is a freezer that cost $9,370 and, like the company which incinerates the bodies of PETA’s victims, was paid for with the donations of animal lovers who could never have imagined that the money they donated to help animals would be used to end their lives instead. In fact, in the last 11 years, PETA has killed 29,426 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other domestic animals.

Normalizing Sin And The Decadent Society

By
A keynote is defined as being “the first and harmonically fundamental tone of a scale.”
Sustainable freedom and a free people require a foundation of moral absolutes that foster biblical truth and restrain vice — the fundamental tone in the Founding of America was laid on the bedrock of “for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith … ” and the Geneva Bible.

Homosexuality is debauchery. God’s loyalty and fidelity — that guard the nation — make sustainable freedom dependent on seeking virtue. There is no “fear of God” from the Republican Party establishment today.
“Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.” -1 Corinthians. 6:9-10

Virtue is a key component of freedom.
What homosexuals do in their bedroom is none of my business, but — politically — someone’s values are going to reign supreme.
R.L Wing, analyzing the principles of Sun Tzu, observed: “The weapons were quite different, but the armies were nearly as large and the devastation and human suffering just as profound. Today, the chariots and crossbows are gone, but the conflict, throughout the world, is exactly the same: a struggle for ideological supremacy and control of resources.” Ideological supremacy — the moral against the immoral — is the current fight within the Republican Party by establishment moderates and the biblically conservative grassroot, precinct-level ground forces.
Solomon wrote, “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34)
The glory of a nation lies in its righteousness, not in its wealth or military might. The key to maintaining sustainable freedom is righteousness. Moral character is what preserves the nation and guarantees freedom.
Freedom always faces a fundamental moral challenge; virtue is a key component of freedom. Taking the present Republican leadership amoral route — in the end — will destroy the Republican Party, initially, and then vie for America’s freedom.

It will take nothing short of a cultural revolution for biblical arguments to be heard, much less to become material to the debate. Homosexual desire and marriage is unnatural and — more so — is a symptom of advanced cultural decay and precursor to the collapse of the Republican Party and the nation.
Os Guinness’ A Free People’s Suicide - a must read – says “Freedom requires truth and virtue. Arnold Toynbee’s repeated observation, ‘History shows that all great nations commit suicide’. But the theme of this book owes far more to Abraham Lincoln’s expressly American understanding of the challenge: ‘if destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.’”
Iowa Republican Party Chairman A.J. Spiker did a great service to America in his letter to RNC leadership:

Fellow RNC Members,
While inclusion is important, elected Republicans (we all know the most recent example) and National/State Party leaders who embrace so-called same sex marriage are doing grave harm to our Party and the whole of society.
Lets not forget, so-called same sex marriage is an irreconcilable difference with the Republican Party’s largest constituency… Committed Christians.
Take care,

A.J. Spiker
Chairman, Republican Party of Iowa

Des Moines, IA 50309

Paid for by the Republican Party of Iowa, not authorized by any candidate or candidate committee.

The RNC Establishment — most likely — will have to decide which constituency is more paramount to them: the estimated 1.5% “GLBT 4.3M gay, lesbian, or bisexual,” or the estimated 44% “born again/ Evangelical 125M”constituency.
Immigration, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the environment, global warming, etc. can be discussed, and good people can — and do — disagree. Homosexual marriage and abortion are inviolable.
The mark of a decadent society is the exaltation and normalization of sin — which leads to the death.

Know Your History

By
“Study The Past”- Inscription on the National Archives in Washington, D.C.
Love him or hate him, President Woodrow Wilson rightly stated that “A nation that does not remember what it was yesterday, does not know what it is today, nor what it is trying to do. We are trying to do a futile thing if we do not know where we have come from, or what we have been about… America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify that devotion to the tenets of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture.”
Recently, while doing a radio interview, I was asked what my opinion was concerning immoral issues that are taking place in our country. I said that “My ‘opinion’ doesn’t matter any more than your ‘opinion’ does.” I said, “It is OK for us to have different opinions as long as we are rooted in the same principles.”

And herein lies America’s problems.
When we are no longer rooted in the same principles, corruption seeps in and begins to divide and conquer through outlets such as the media, public schools, and colleges.
For example, most young people think America is a democracy. Yet, when saying the Pledge of Allegiance, you recite: “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the UNITED States of America, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, indivisible (cannot be divided, separated, or broken), with liberty and justice for all.”

President Andrew Jackson said that “The Bible is the rock upon which our republic rests.” And these are the principles that keep us united.
I can just now hear the media, the teacher, the “well-educated” college professor, or the philosopher (using big words with common-sense meanings) decry: “We are not a Christian nation.” They then complain about the government that will not be ruled by Law (God gave government through Moses – Exodus 18:21).
In their confusion, they blurt out the truth: They would rather listen to man’s 10,000 commandments than to God’s Ten Commandments, which only produce liberty when you love God with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength.
In essence, the unprincipled in America are at war with God and His Law, which commanded we should not kill, commit adultery, steal, lie, or covet. They seem to forget that “Wherever law ends, tyranny begins”… and tyranny is what you are dealing with today because most people do not know their history.
America, how is it that the left (as it is called) knows how to lie better than the right knows how to tell the truth?

The remedy: know your history
The University of Houston political science professors searched to find where the Founding Fathers chose their ideas:
  • They assembled 15,000 writings from the era of the founders.
  • They researched for 10 years, isolated 3,154 direct quotes, and identified the source of the quotes:
  • 8.3 percent were quotes from Baron Charles de Montesquieu;
  • 7.9 percent were quotes from Sir William Blackstone;
  • 2.9 percent were from John Locke;
  • 34 percent of their quotes came directly from the Bible – and when researching where Montesquieu, Blackstone, and Locke got their ideas, they found that theirs came from the Bible as well.
Here is the correlation between the Constitution and the Bible concerning America’s Christian heritage:
  • Separation of powers: Jeremiah 17:9
  • Immigration laws: Leviticus 19:34
  • President must be natural born citizen: Deuteronomy 17:15
  • Witness and capital punishment: Deuteronomy 17:6
  • Three branches of government: Isaiah 33:22
  • Tax exemptions for churches: Ezra 7:24
  • Republicanism: Exodus 18:21

God (Not SCOTUS) Will Be The Final Judge On Gay “Marriage”

By

There seems to have been a shift in the Republican party away from opposing so-called gay marriage and towards an acceptance of homosexuals being able to be married with the state’s imprimatur.
I can understand Senator Rob Portman’s position.  His son is gay, and he is still his son, and he loves him.

I saw Nicole Wallace on Fox News Sunday taking a similar position.  She worked in the Bush 43 White House.  I certainly understand Vice President Dick Cheney’s position because his situation is similar to Portman’s.
Here is my problem with all of that.
The state’s imprimatur.
As I have said many times in this space, what you do on your own time and who you do it with is your own business, and I don’t really care.
But.  Please include me out.

I don’t care if you covet Paris Hilton or Perez Hilton; but why do I need to know about it, much less be forced to approve of it?
If two people of the same sex want to set up housekeeping, they can enter into a civil union, which should give them every right that a married couple has.  And, for the record, I think the federal government should only involve itself in marriage where it is forced to (and, thus, parts of the Defense of Marriage Act probably ARE unconstitutional.)
Why is it so important for me to do anything but wish a gay couple well?
And by me, I mean all of us.
Truth be told, I don’t really know whether or not God believes that homosexuality is fundamentally wrong or that marriage is between a man and a woman.  However, he certainly arranged our plumbing to accommodate that theory.
I suspect that people on my side of the argument may eventually lose to a pop culture that places a heavy value on doing whatever feels good at the moment; and there will be, on the surface, acceptance of gay marriage.
If that’s the case, I’m glad I won’t be around to see the long-term effects.  Ultimately, it won’t be Antonin Scalia or Ruth Bader Ginsburg making the judgments. It will be a much higher authority, and I suspect that it will be loud and clear.

How do I know?
I don’t.  But, being willing to make a wager, I can calculate odds.  Let me quote William Shatner’s “Boston Legal” character, Denny Crane, when asked if he believed in God and why:
“If you believe in God and it turns out there is no God, there’s no harm no foul. . .but if you don’t believe in God and there is a God, you’re screwed.”
So, you need to ask yourself a question.  And, as the number of your tomorrows becomes significantly fewer than your yesterdays, the question may be more pressing.
The question is: do you want to bet against God?  For all eternity? Those seem like pretty big odds, even for a value player.
I cannot tell you whether there is life after the body gives out or whether we just blink off like a burned out light bulb.  But I’m pretty sure that I don’t want to take a chance that there is no master plan to the universe and we just become used up dustballs after we die.  I’m pretty sure that the odds favor the theory of a master plan implemented by a master planner.  Maybe God doesn’t take the form we think.  Maybe there are not any pearly gates.  But there’s a lot more empirical evidence that there is a God than man-made global warming. If that were a proposition bet in a Las Vegas sports book, I’d be hard-pressed to bet money against God.  As far as betting my life for eternity, well, I’d be real nervous about that.

And, I think that Richard Nixon had it right when he told us that there’s a great silent majority out there that is more conservative socially than liberal, believes in God, and wants to do the right thing.
That explains why 30 states have laws on the books making marriage between a man and a woman that were passed in the privacy of the polling booth by that very silent majority.
Giving gay marriage the imprimatur of the state isn’t going to screw up my life.
But, if I were 20 right now, I wouldn’t want to bet on what the world might look like 50 years from now under those circumstances.

Slippery Slope Alert: Columbia Prof Equates His Incest With Daughter to Homosexual Sex

[Columbia professor arrested for incest with daughter - Democratic ...]
The lawyer representing a professor charged with incest with his 24-year-old daughter has questioned why the alleged affair has been made public.
David Epstein was charged last week with one count of incest for what was allegedly a consensual three-year sexual relationship with his daughter.
The political science professor at Columbia University, 46, allegedly slept with her between 2006 and 2009.
Epstein, who specialises in American politics and voting rights, is also said to have exchanged twisted text messages with the woman during their relationship.
Matthew Galluzzo, defending Epstein, has said that even though his daughter had emerged as a victim in the case, she could ‘best be described as an accomplice’.

He told ABCNews.com: ‘Academically, we are obviously all morally opposed to incest and rightfully so.
‘At the same time, there is an argument to be made in the Swiss case to let go what goes on privately in bedrooms.

‘It’s ok for homosexuals to do whatever they want in their own home. How is this so different?
‘We have to figure out why some behaviour is tolerated and some is not.’

Pedophilia Is A Sexual Orientation Under CA Bill

oped: Yup Caifornia  & NewYork are the new Sodom&Gomorrah...we can only pray God will take notice and have a repeat from history!

pedophilia-is-a-sexual-orientation
This is sick. Liberals are just disgusting.
Check it out:
In regards to California state law SB 1172, which was initiated to ban conversion therapy in California, there were questions regarding the text of the bill.
“This language is so broad and vague, it arguably could include all forms of sexual orientation, including pedophilia,” said Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute. “It’s not just the orientation that is protected—the conduct associated with the orientation is protected as well.”
It also means that, if pedophilia is a sexual orientation, that discrimination laws also apply to pedophiles. That means you cannot block a pedophile from being a preschool teacher or any other high-risk occupation.
Recently, a United States District Court Judge, William Shubb, sided with Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) by granting their plaintiffs a preliminary injunction against the legislation, which is known as California SB 1172.

by: Jack Minor

Soldiers in the U.S. military have been told in a training briefing that evangelical Christians are the No. 1 extremist threat to America – ahead of groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, KKK, Nation of Islam, al-Qaida, Hamas and others.
“Men and women of faith who have served the Army faithfully for centuries shouldn’t be likened to those who have regularly threatened the peace and security of the United States,” said Col. (Ret.) Ron Crews, executive director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty. “It is dishonorable for any U.S. military entity to allow this type of wrongheaded characterization. It also appears that some military entities are using definitions of ‘hate’ and ‘extreme’ from the lists of anti-Christian political organizations. That violates the apolitical stance appropriate for the military.”

The briefing, which was given to an Army reserve unit in Pennsylvania, came from a U.S. Army Reserve Equal Opportunity training brief titled “Extremism and Extremist Organizations.”
The material mentions neo-Nazis, the KKK and other white supremacist organizations. Pictures are shown on various slides of people in Klan attire and Nazi flags. The significance of gang tattoos, and racist acronyms and the significance of numbers were also discussed.
While the material on gangs and racist organizations is similar to what one might receive from a local police briefing on gang issues, after teaching on neo-Nazis in the military such as Timothy McVeigh, the material makes an amazing link.
A slide titled “Religious Extremism” lists multiple organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaida, Hamas, the Nation of Islam, the Ku Klux Klan and the Christian Identity movement as examples of extremist groups.
However, the first group on the list is evangelical Christianity. Catholicism and ultra-orthodox Judaism are also on the list of religious extremist organizations.
See what Christian really is, in “Body of Divinity: The Sum and Substance of the Christian Religion.”

Following the briefing, one of the soldiers who attended the presentation and describes himself as an evangelical told the trainer he was offended at the material and asked for a copy of the briefing. After receiving a copy, he forwarded the material to Crews.
The material describes religious extremism as those having beliefs, attitudes, feelings or actions that are “far removed from the ordinary.” It then elaborates by saying that “every religion has some followers that believe that their beliefs, customs and traditions are the only ‘right way’ and that all others practicing their faith the ‘wrong way.’”
Crews said it is astounding that soldiers were taught that a key foundation of the Christian faith is now considered extreme and compared to those who want to implement Shariah law.
“The idea of salvation being exclusively through Christ is a key doctrine of the Christian faith,” Crews said. “It is amazing that the trainer felt they had the authority and right to list evangelical Christian, Catholics and orthodox Jews alongside groups like the Muslim Brotherhood.”

When pressed as to how evangelical Christians and Catholics are a danger to those serving in the military, the brief does not provide any examples. However, it does provide several examples of Muslim extremists in the military. Among them are:
  • Navy petty officer Hassan Abujihad who emailed classified information to jihadists for possible attacks while serving on a destroyer.
  • Ali Abdul Saoud Mohammed, who was an Army Special Forces instructor at the Special Ops Warfare School at Ft. Bragg while simultaneously being a trainer for al-Qaida and traveling overseas to fight with jihadists.
  • Sgt Hasan Akbar, who killed two of his soldiers and injured 14 others at a military base in Kuwait when he threw four grenades into three tents where soldiers were sleeping. His reasoning was to prevent the killing of his fellow Muslims.
Conspicuously missing was one Muslim Maj. Nidal Hasan, who opened fire on fellow soldiers at Ft. Hood while allegedly shouting “Allahu Akbar.” Hasan’s rampage left 13 dead and 30 injured.
The Army has gone to great lengths to minimize the Hasan attack, going so far as to call it simply a case of workplace violence, similar to when an employee gets into a fight with another co-worker.
The Army has doubled down on its decision by issuing a report to Congress claiming that recent legislation that would label the shootings a terrorist act in order to help survivors and victim’s families would jeopardize Hasan’s chances of receiving a fair trial.

“Passage of this legislation could directly and indirectly influence potential court-martial panel members, witnesses, or the chain of command, all of whom exercise a critical role under the Uniform Code of Military Justice,” the Army said. “Defense counsel will argue that Major Hasan cannot receive a fair trial because a branch of government has indirectly declared that Major Hasan is a terrorist – that he is criminally culpable.”
Crews said the major problem with the training brief is that it relies heavily on material provided by the Southern Poverty Law Center which has claimed that groups such as WND, the Family Research Council and other pro-family groups are hate groups and extremists.
“We’re concerned the use of the SPLC list is not isolated,” Crews said. “The Army should make sure its equal opportunity officers across the military do not fall prey and use this SPLC list that identifies Christian and conservative organizations as hate groups as the basis for their briefing.”
He went on to say that placing evangelical Christians first on the list of religious extremists speaks volumes about how the SPLC views Christianity compared to other religious groups.
“This is absolutely abhorrent to all those who identify themselves as evangelical Christians in this country,” Crews said. “We know other commands have used the SPLC list in briefing soldiers about hate crimes and hate groups, but this particular briefing is the most egregious in terms of blatantly identifying evangelical Christianity as the number one extremist group in the United States.”

The material claims the number of “hate groups, extremists and anti-government organizations” has increased because of the prospect of “4 more years under a black president who many on the far right view as an enemy to their country.”
It goes on to state the purpose of the training is the belief that this issue “may be an indication of internal issues all services will have to face.” It advised participants that extremist organizations are inconsistent with the Army’s goals, beliefs and values regarding equal opportunity.
According to Crews, the Army Chief of Chaplains office told the Chaplain Alliance the training was an isolated incident and would not happen again.
Crews said while he accepts the explanation, the Army needs to go further and publically apologize to all evangelical Christians, Catholics and orthodox Jews.
“We believe the soldiers who attended this briefing should receive another class with the corrected material and the instructor should present a public apology. Evangelical Christians, Catholics and Orthodox Jews should be given an apology for having their faith called into question as extremists similar to the Muslim Brotherhood.
“We don’t want this briefing to multiply. If it is truly an isolated incident then it should be stopped right now and the instructors should be warned not to teach this material again.”

Proposed secession Map return to 2004 When we were still a Republic!

The time has come for serious consideration for Red States... those who support the Constitution and adhere to the Bill Of Rights and all Amendments attached to secede from the Progressive Marxist States and the Obama administration...now known as the NWO under the Boy King! Red States will absorb our Military and the Blue States may keep the DHS

Constitutional States of America:

New Defense Secretary Hagel to Finish Obama’s Gutting of US Military

oped: Yup another reason to secede...Red States can absorb our military..and Blue states can keep the DHS

images-9
President Barack Obama has spent the past couple of years gutting and weakening our military.  He pushed to allow gays to openly serve which caused some military personnel who held on to their Christian values to resign.  Then Obama pushed his gay rights initiative onto military chaplains, forcing them to perform same-sex unions and marriages, even though it was against their religion.  Failure to do so could result in strong disciplinary action up to being court martialed.  Obama is now pushing to extend benefits to the unwed gay partners of military personnel but not to the unwed opposite sex partners of military personnel.
Obama then attacked the retirement program for the military making it less desirable for people to give the country twenty or more years of their lives.  Instead of being able to retire after twenty years and draw one’s pension at the age of 38 and older, Obama is pushing to make a change that so they cannot draw their military retirement until 67 years of age.  A number of people coming out of the military after 20 years have a hard time finding appropriate work and rely on that well deserved pension to help them survive, but that doesn’t matter to Obama.

Troop and weaponry reduction was next on Obama’s list.  Through his edict, former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta began reducing the number of active military personnel in all branches.  Ships, planes and other equipment have also been reduced in numbers.
Obama has also been weeding out those top military leaders that refuse to say that they would shoot fellow Americans if ordered to do so.  They are being turned down for promotions or being moved to other non-essential positions, both of which are career killers in the military.

Second Amendment Crumbling as Gun-Control Victories Spread

oped: I do believe the time has come for Red States to secede from the Union...regroup into Constitutional States and let the Blue states and the Obama administration fend for themselves...enough is enough folks! Our first revolution against oppression by the English Monarcy was sparked by far less than we are experiencing under King Obama and his Progressive Marxist followers !

images-8
The Second Amendment got attacked this week from three sides, leaving gun owners scrambling to find safe ground. While President Obama has lost momentum for federal gun-control laws, he has picked up victories with his allies in blue states and at the United Nations.
After Thursday, Connecticut should consider changing its state nickname from the “Constitution State” to the “Unconstitutional State” after Gov. Dannel Malloy signed an extremely restrictive gun-control law. The bill passed the state House Thursday morning and the Senate on Wednesday.
Before the Newtown tragedy, the Brady Campaign determined that Connecticut was the fifth highest-rated state for restrictive gun-control laws. Adam Lanza ignored those laws — such as including stealing the guns, carrying them without a permit and violating the federal “gun free” school zone — in his evil mission to murder school children and teachers.

Connecticut lawmakers decided that its current “assault weapon” ban, which had a two-characteristic test, was not severe enough, so all semi-automatic rifles with one scary-looking feature are illegal. The bill cites 100 specific makes and models that are banned, such as the AR and AK.
There is a new eligibility certificate required before purchasing or receiving a long gun, which is defined as any firearm that is not a pistol or revolver. These certificates cost $35 and are issued by the Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection, but there is no time limit on how long the application process can take.
Also, buying or even transferring a long gun — such as a father passing down his shotgun to his son — requires a background check and registration. The penalty for violating this provision could be a felony. Connecticut expanded the category of citizens who are permanently prohibited from having a rifle or shotgun to include those who have been convicted of misdemeanors including possession of as little as one-half ounce of marijuana or “unlawful restraint.”
Starting Oct. 1, a gun permit or a new “ammunition certificate” will be required to buy ammunition and magazines.  Standard magazines that are considered “large capacity” — which is over 10 rounds — will be illegal. The penalty for a first-time offense of possession of this magazine, purchased before Jan 1., 2014, will be a $90 fine. The penalty will be a class D felon for subsequent offenses or for magazines obtained after that date,
Below the Mason-Dixon line, Maryland may have to change its state nickname from the “Free State” to the “Disarmed State” since only the law-abiding will be affected by its new gun-control law. After months of intense pressure from Gov. Martin O’Malley, the state House passed Wednesday a radical new gun-control law. The Senate is expected to pass it Thursday, and it will then be signed by Mr. O’Malley.

Australian Judge Finds Muslim “Cultural Differences” Valid Excuse for Rape

oped: Unbelievable I have no words for Far left Loons who occupy the bench...!

Never forget Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood...Obama's Buddies!

By

Bit by bit, Western nations are adopting Muslim legal standards on blasphemy and on the treatment of women.
The excuses are manifold. Racism, cultural differences, Islamophobia, relativism… but it all ends the same way, with Western writers, artists and thinkers being censored and Western women being subject to Taliban treatment.
This is how it began.
An Afghan refugee would drive from his home in Tullamarine to nightclubs in Frankston late at night searching for drunk, vulnerable young woman to prey on, a court was told today.
He would pick them up in his white 1988 Honda Civic and rape them.
The victim was sitting on the footpath behind the 21st Century Dance Club when Esmatullah Sharifi approached her and offered to give her a lift to the Bay Hotel.
She accepted but became anxious and confused when they had been driving for an hour and she saw a road sign saying Sorrento.
Sharifi then pulled over into a dark side street and raped her in the front passenger seat.
“She began to scream and cry out for help,” Ms Dalziel said.

The accused put his left hand over her mouth and his right hand around her neck, restricting her breathing. He said to her, ‘I’ll take you home after it, I’ll give you back your phone as well’.
In the rapist’s defense, his lawyer argued that he wasn’t at all clear about this whole “Women are human beings” thing.
Mr Regan said Esmatullah Sharifi was uneducated, illiterate, inexperienced in forming relationships with women, and was confused about the nature of consent. He is in Australia on a permanent protected visa.
The judge didn’t buy it then, but the usual lefty approach is to just keep appealing until you find a bleeding heart judge who accepts the horrible notion being put forward. And that didn’t take very long.
Granting leave to appeal, Court of Appeal Justice Robert Redlich said: “The sentencing judge rejected any suggestion (Esmatullah Sharifi) didn’t have a clear concept of consent in sexual relations.”
In April last year, a psychologist told the County Court that Sharifi had “an unclear concept of what constitutes consent in sexual relationships” in Australia.
“It proves, in my view, an adequate basis for most grounds of appeal that (Sharifi) wishes to pursue,” the judge said.
We’re not just dealing with ignorance of the law. We have Western judges setting out the notion that if a Muslim settler in Europe, America or Australia does not understand the concept that women can refuse sexual contact, that this is a mitigating circumstance.
Ms Dalziel said Esmatullah Sharifi claimed he did not have a great understanding of sexual mores in Australia but Judge Mark Dean disagreed.
“These are acts of violence,” the judge said. “Serious acts of violence against women, nothing to do with sexual mores. They’re brutal acts of violence.”
But they do. In Muslim sexual mores, serious acts of violence being committed against women are not a problem because the women do not belong to themselves. They belong to their family.
Islam does not recognize the same concept of individual rights as civilized jurisprudence does. Furthermore Muslims from tribal societies like Afghanistan bring those same tribal attitudes along.

As Australian columnist Andrew Bolt says, quite rightly,
If Afghan men have a culture which leaves them more likely to rape, and our courts have a culture of being more lenient as a consequence, I suggest Australian women have an interest in stopping the boats until we get this sorted out:
And that doesn’t just go only for Australia. Stop the boats. Stop the planes. Stop the trains.
The left cannot have it both ways.
Either Esmatullah Sharifi is responsible for his own actions. Or he isn’t. Either rape is cultural or it’s individual. Either Esmatullah Sharifi should be hit with the full force of the law or the Afghan culture of rape represents a threat to non-Muslim countries.
They can only pick one.

Did Obama's 'oops' stir up North Korea?

B2Bomber
by: F. Michael Maloof

WASHINGTON – The Obama administration may be working with China to come up with a face-saving solution that would allow North Korea’s young dictator to back down from the brink of war, where he has brought the Korean Peninsula and United States.
While the Obama administration believes North Korea is engaging mostly in bluster with its threats and warnings of war, sources close to the administration say officials may have miscalculated Pyongyang’s reaction in the recent American demonstration of force – the flight from the continental U.S. of two stealth B-2 nuclear bombers.

The tensions started rising along with the implementation of United Nations sanctions recently. Then came the American show of force in an annual joint U.S.-South Korean military exercise.
The B-2 flights, especially because they can carry nuclear weaponry, immediately caused North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, to claim the United States intended through this exercise to launch a nuclear war on North Korea.
Analysts believe the administration may be reevaluating its approach, and a change in strategy would defuse the confrontation.
Such behind-the-scenes activities come as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is to make visits next week to Beijing, Seoul and Tokyo. Sources say Kerry is opposed to any sanctions, or making existing sanctions even more stringent.
North Korea apparently reacted with bellicose rhetoric that caught the Obama administration off guard, sources say.
The sanctions against North Korea have earned wide approval – even from China, which is supposed to be the Hermit Kingdom’s closest friend. Sources say this represented months of frustration by China trying to get North Korea to halt its missile and nuclear weapons testing.

Sources add Kim Jong-un is going against the tradition of his father, Kim Jong-il, and his father before him, Kim Il-sung – the father of North Korea – to work closely with Beijing
Yet, China appears to be caught between the proverbial rock and hard place when it comes to dealing with the 28-year-old North Korean supreme leader. It must continue to provide the poor country with fuel and food and remains very concerned with the potential for millions of North Korean refugees flooding into China in the event hostilities break out.
At the same time, Beijing has a security agreement with Pyongyang to come to its assistance in event it is attacked.
At this point, China has counseled all sides in the dispute to return to the six-party talks which North Korea had abandoned, realizing its former leverage over Pyongyang is limited
The latest confrontation on the Korean Peninsula began when the U.N. Security Council recently voted to increase sanctions against North Korea for its illegal missile and nuclear tests.

Yet, Pyongyang went ahead with more tests, followed by threats to launch a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the U.S. homeland.
Sources believe that Kim Jong-un may have made the threat of a pre-emptive strike against the U.S. since its last nuclear test for miniaturization to fit a nuclear weapon on a warhead was a success.
In also threatening South Korea, a North Korean military spokesman said there could be an “explosion,” with war breaking out “today or tomorrow.” The North Korean military also said that it had received authorization to attack using “smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear” weapons.
North Korea is assessed to have a stockpile of from eight to12 nuclear weapons and some 800 short-to medium-range ballistic missiles that could rain on South Korea.
It also has a limited number of long-range intercontinental ballistic missiles – the Taepodong-2 – which has a range of some 7,000 miles and could reach the U.S. West Coast. With its smaller missiles, however, all of South Korea and Japan could be hit.

In ratcheting back the display of military power, the administration hopes to subdue any further provocation.
“This strategy reportedly is based on U.S. intelligence assessments that there is a low probability of a North Korean military response to such U.S. military demonstrations because of the high priority that the regime places on self-preservation,” according to a report of the open intelligence Langley Intelligence Group Network, or Lignet.
Lignet is comprised of many analysts who formerly worked in the U.S. intelligence community.
“Now, however, some Obama administration officials reportedly have begun to question the assessments of U.S. intelligence,” the report said, “noting that it has an imperfect record in predicting North Korean behavior.”
Intelligence on the closed and isolated Hermit State is limited. While technical intelligence suggests there is some activity at various missile sites and no major North Korean troop movements, the area above the demilitarized zone has miles of tunnels in which there is no information of what is taking place.
As a result, many analysts assess that Kim Jong-un’s bellicose rhetoric is mostly bluster to win concessions at a negotiating table, and any display of U.S. military power at this juncture should be downplayed.

“The decision to fly U.S. stealth bombers over South Korea and drop dummy bombs 50 miles from the North Korean border was probably a mistake that increased the potential for military conflict,” the Lignet report said.
“Other recent U.S. military moves such as ship deployments and sending U.S. stealth fighters to South Korea for military exercises this month may also have inadvertently raised tensions,” the report said.
This and other sources say North Korean leaders didn’t react as predicted and then increased their rhetoric in response to the U.S. displays of military power beyond anything that has been seen since the end of the Korean War.
The unexpected reaction, however, also may be due to Kim Jong-un’s need to prove himself to his own skeptical military as well as attempt to keep his starving country united against a perceived outside attack.
In the past, lesser outbursts from North Korea have occurred whenever the U.S. and South Korea conducted their annual joint military exercises. But afterwards, the rhetoric would calm down.
Analysts believe that if both the U.S. and South Korea show restraint in the weeks ahead and push to resume talks with Pyongyang, this period of tensions similarly will defuse itself.
However, it will be kicking the can down the road on the overall North Korean problem, especially the development of its missile and nuclear weapons capability.

Sledge Hammer Alert: Five Gay Marriage Myths Destroyed

http://youtu.be/IRSH4bqI210

If homosexuals and heterosexuals are really “equal” before the law, then logically heterosexual marriage must collapse into being little more than a legal construct as well. Indeed, marriage and family become mere adjuncts of the state after the removal of the de facto conditions that make the traditional family a pre-political institution in the first place. No longer is family something that, in the words of Douglas Farrow, “precedes and exceeds the state.” No longer is the family a hedge against the totalitarian aspirations of the state because no longer is the family prior to the state.
This is not mere hypothetical speculation about what ‘might’ happen if same-sex marriages are legalized. Canadian theologian Douglas Farrow has shown that after Canada legalized same-sex marriage, even traditional marriage began to be spoken about as little more than a legal construct. In his book Nation of Bastards, Farrow criticized warned that by claiming the power to re-invent marriage, the Canadian state “has drawn marriage and the family into a captive orbit. It has reversed the gravitational field between the family and the state… It has effectively made every man, woman, and child a chattel of the state, by turning their most fundamental human connections into mere legal constructs at the state’s disposal. It has transformed those connections from divine gifts into gifts from the state.”
Most people are not aware of how gay marriage will undermine the traditional family because it does so in ways that are subtle and ubiquitous.  However, once gay marriage is introduced into a nation, it undermines the integrity of every family and every marriage in the nation. It does this by rearranging the family’s relationship to the state. The state which legalizes gay marriage is a state that has assumed the god-like power to declare which collections of individuals constitute a ‘family.’ But by this assumption government declares that both marriage and family are little more than legal constructs at best, and gifts from the state at worst. In the former case, marriage and family lose their objective fixity; in the latter case, we become the wards of the state.

Reid Bill Could Lead To National Gun Registry

oped: Hey Harry you moron read: http://sharlaslabyrinth.blogspot.com/2013/04/nevada-is-ny-mayor-bloombergs-next.html

Harry Reid Speaking Out of Both Sides

The final step of Nazi control in Austria was registration and confiscation of guns. (Fairly Civil)
It’s not a surprise. Gun Registration often leads to confiscation.

Now this…
Harry Reid is pushing a gun control bill that will likely lead to a national gun registry.
The Foundry reported:
As Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) must know, Americans who own firearms have a special sensitivity to a “Big Brother” federal government that wants to keep centralized records on who owns what guns and where in America. Loose language in his gun control bill (S. 649) could start America down that slippery slope.
Since the Second Amendment guarantees to the people the right to keep and bear arms, many Americans look askance at efforts to create centralized records that might some day, in some distant future neither wanted nor expected, facilitate a despotic government’s efforts to disarm the populace or ensure that its supporters but not its opponents possess arms. Some Americans look at history and view that concern as far-fetched; others look at history and see careful attention to that concern as essential to maintaining freedom…

Diana DeGette (D-CO) mocked the concerns of a senior citizen who said that his impairments would put him at a significant disadvantage in a firefight under the state’s new gun laws. She tells him: “You’d probably be dead anyway.”

So the never-been-married Laura Ingraham, who has a gay brother and who is raising 3 adopted children all by herself in a *single* parent household, is on the stump defending "traditional marriage".
They are so disconnected from the real world they don't even see *themselves* in it anymore, do they?

Nevada is NY Mayor Bloomberg's next Target..Anti-Gun Laws

NAGR Banner

Dear Patriot,

Billionaire-playboy New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his cronies have been criss-crossing the country pushing anti-gun bills in western states like Colorado and California.

Nevada is their next target.

When I heard about the gun bills that are on the move in Carson City, I knew I had to tell you right away.

Some anti-gun lawmakers are foaming at the mouth to kill pro-gun bills, and have been eagerly waiting to see exactly how much gun control they can "get away with."

There are three bills you should know about.

First, there are a couple good bills:

*** SB-137 -- Constitutional Carry

This pro-gun bill would restore your right to keep and bear arms by allowing you to carry your firearm concealed without intrusive regulation, fingerprinting, fees, and acquiring a permit through a government agency.

It was supposed to be heard recently in the Senate Judiciary Committee. But lawmakers are taking a nap.

Insiders claim they 'might' hear it next week.

Make no mistake, anti-gunners in Nevada would like nothing more than to stall and make this bill die a quiet death without a vote.
*** AB-143 -- Campus carry

This pro-gun bill was heard yesterday in the Assembly Judiciary Committee and could be voted on this week.

AB-143 WOULD reverse the current prohibition on carrying a concealed firearm on a campus of the Nevada system of Higher Education without express permission of the school.

However, AB-143 prohibits concealed carry at campus events with a seating capacity of 1000 or more.

This bill could be much stronger if it simply allowed carry on campuses by law abiding adults under all conditions.
Now the bad bill:
*** AB-234 -- Anti-Second Amendment Act

This bill is so erroneous that it would virtually outlaw private firearms sales and create a de-facto gun registry for ALL guns bought or sold in Nevada.

They even snuck in a ban on certain types of ammunition into this bill, additional regulations on firearms dealers, and a TAX ON GUN OWNERS in order to pay for "mental health" treatment.

It's no secret the gun-grabbers want to find and identify as many law-abiding Americans as they can, label them "mentally ill," and strip their right to keep and bear arms.

This bill would simply force you to help pay for that scheme.

It was heard in committee yesterday and is also pending a vote.
It's time to pick up your telephones and boot up your email.

Please take the following actions, right away:
1.) Contact the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Here's a quick link to email them all.

Urge them to pass SB-137, Constitutional Carry right away
!
2.) Contact the members of the Assembly Judiciary Committee.

*
Here's a link to the committee's page.
*
Here's a quick link to email them all.

Insist they OPPOSE AB-234 -- the Anti-Second Amendment Act -- and SUPPORT the strongest possible version of campus carry, AB-143.
3.) Contact YOUR state lawmakers at 1-800-978-2878.

*
Click here to look up your lawmaker.
Ask them politely, but firmly to OPPOSE all anti-gun legislation and to support pro-gun legislation like SB-137, Constitutional Carry.

Thank you very much for taking action right away.

For Freedom,

Signature
Dudley Brown
Executive Vice President

P.S. Pro-gun and anti-gun bills are receiving attention from lawmakers in Nevada.

With out your input, I'm worried the only voices lawmakers will hear will be those calling for more draconian gun control.

It's crucial your lawmakers hear from you.

Please take the following actions, right away:
1.) Contact the members of the Assembly and Senate Judiciary Committees.

Insist they SUPPORT SB-137; OPPOSE AB-234 and SUPPORT the strongest possible version of AB-143.

Bill would establish state religion

CountryChurch
by: Garth Kant

Lawmakers are fighting back against the American Civil Liberties Union with a bold piece of legislation that would allow North Carolina to establish a state religion.
It is a bold move because House Bill 494 asserts the First Amendment, which prohibits the federal government from establishing an official religion, does not prevent states, counties, towns or schools from doing so. The bill also contends that a move to establish a state religion cannot be blocked by Congress or the courts.
The Defense of Religion Act was introduced to the North Carolina legislature by Republican Rowan County Reps. Harry Warren and Carl Ford and is sponsored by seven other Republicans. The bill does not specify which religion would become the state religion.

The bill is seen as a response to a federal lawsuit filed by the ACLU last month to stop the Rowan County Commission from opening meetings with Christian prayers.
North Carolina’s state Senate has offered a Christian invocation during most sessions since 2011.
Section 1 of the bill says “the Constitution of the United States of America does not prohibit states or their subsidiaries from making laws respecting an establishment of religion.”
Section 2 reads: “The North Carolina General Assembly does not recognize federal court rulings which prohibit and otherwise regulate the state of North Carolina, its public schools, or any political subdivisions of the state from making laws respecting an establishment of religion.”
Many critics are focusing on the bill’s interpretation of the First Amendment, contending the measure is a violation of the Establishment Clause, which reads, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”
But the bill’s backers say that clause does not apply to states. The legislators appear to be pinning their hopes on the Tenth Amendment, which reads, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

House Bill 494 says “the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States prohibits the federal government and prohibits the federal courts from expanding the powers of the federal government beyond those powers which are explicitly enumerated.”
“The Constitution of the United States does not grant the federal government and does not grant the federal courts the power to determine what is or is not constitutional; therefore, by virtue of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the power to determine constitutionality and the proper interpretation and proper application of the Constitution is reserved to the states and to the people,” the bill also states.

“Each state in the union is sovereign and may independently determine how that state may make laws respecting an establishment of religion,” it adds.
That Tenth Amendment argument has been used to try to nullify a variety of measures, from the Emancipation Proclamation to Obamacare.
But, the North Carolina legislature may have a revered Founding Father and constitutional expert on its side.
Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1804, “The opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are constitutional, and what not, not only for themselves in their own sphere of action, but for the legislature and executive also, in their spheres, would make the judiciary a despotic branch.”
Some argue that the government long ago let religion into institutions such as schools.
Attorney and author John Calvert wrote in WND that when proponents of Thomas Dewey’s nontheistic Religious Humanism sought to replace traditional religions, they merely renamed it Secular Humanism in order to dominate “institutions of science, education and much of the ‘mainstream’ media.”
Calvert added: “Since public schools can promote the secular but not the religious, it’s a slam-dunk. Secular humanists and atheists go into the public schools demanding the exclusion of ‘religion’ (defined as just belief in God) and any of its religious teachings such as those found in the Bible. Once God and His wisdom have been excluded, it’s pretty simple to fill the vacuum with the tenets of the new stealth religion now dressed in the garb of secular health, science, history and social studies.”
And, writing in 2008 about PBS’ “Nova” series documentary that disputed many key elements of the Bible, WND CEO Joseph Farah wrote, “The U.S. government funds propaganda promoting what has become, de facto, the official state church in America – secular humanism.”

'Gate to hell' discovered in Antichrist's neighborhood

Joel Richardson

A significant recent archeological discovery in western Turkey may hold a prophetic hint as to the nation from which the Antichrist will someday burst forth onto the world scene.
According to a recent report by Fox News, archeologists have uncovered the ancient “gate to hell.” Not literally, of course, but rather they’ve discovered an ancient pagan temple known as “Pluto’s Gate,” the cave that was believed to be the portal to Hades, in Greco-Roman mythology.
According to the Greek geographer Strabo, the cave emitted a thick vapor that would kill any who came into contact with it. According to Francesco D’Andria, the archeologist who discovered the gate, “We could see the cave’s lethal properties during the excavation. Several birds died as they tried to get close to the warm opening, instantly killed by the carbon dioxide fumes.”

Some students of prophecy have noted the similarity of the gate to hell to the “Abyss” as described in the book of Revelation:
“When [the angel] opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions.” (Revelation 9:2-3)
What is more interesting about this find as it relates to biblical prophecy is the fact that the gate was discovered in modern-day Pamukkale, Turkey, known in ancient times as Hierapolis. According to the first-century historian known as Pliny the Elder, Hierapolis was also known as “Magog.”
In fact, it was specifically this ancient Turkish-Magog connection that informed the understanding of a wide range of Jewish and Christian theologians concerning the region from which the armies of Gog and Magog would descend into the land of Israel.

Gog and Magog, according to the biblical prophet Ezekiel, are armies of the final antagonists of the Jewish people, who would invade the land of Israel just prior to the return of Jesus. While many prophecy teachers today hold to the idea that the Battle of Gog of Magog is a preliminary and distinct battle from the final Battle of Armageddon, this belief is actually a relatively new minority view within church history. Consider the following partial survey of theologians, both Christian and Jewish, who have long looked for the Antichristian armies of Gog of Magog to come from the land of Turkey:
Hippolytus of Rome (170–235), an early Christian theologian, in his Chronicon, connected Magog with the Galatians in Asia Minor, or modern-day Turkey.
Moses Ben Maimonides (aka Rambam) (1135–1204), the revered Jewish sage, in Hichot Terumot, identified Magog as being on the border of Syria and modern-day Turkey.
Nicholas of Lyra (1270–1349), a Hebrew scholar and renowned biblical exegete, believed that Gog was another title of the Antichrist.Lyra also affirmed that the religion of the “Turks,” a term used to refer to Muslims in general, was the religion of the Antichrist.

Martin Luther (1483–1546), understood Gog to be a reference to the Turks, whom God had sent as a scourge to chastise Christians.
Sir Walter Raleigh (1554–1618), in his History of the World, also placed Magog in Asia Minor, or modern-day Turkey:
“Yet it is not to be denied, that the Scythians in old times coming out of the northeast, wasted the better part of Asia the Less, and possessed Coelesyria, where they built both Scythopolis and Hierapolis, which the Syrians call Magog. And that to this Magog Ezekiel had reference, it is very plain; for this city Hierapolis, or Magog, standeth due north from Judea, according to the words of Ezekiel, that from the north quarters those nations should come.”
John Wesley (1703–1755), in his Explanatory Notes on Ezekiel 38 and 39, identified the hoards of Gog and Magog with “the Antichristian forces” who would come from the region of modern day Turkey.
Jonathan Edwards (1703–1758), one of American history’s most renowned theologians, also viewed modern-day Turkey as the nation from which the coming Gog Magog invasion would come forth.
John Nelson Darby (1800–1882), the British-Irish evangelist and a father of modern Dispensationalism and Futurism, in his Synopsis of the Books of the Bible, views Gog as the final Antichristian forces God will bring against Israel:
“Gog is the end of all the dealings of God with respect to Israel, and that God brings up this haughty power in order to manifest on earth, by a final judgment, His dealings with Israel and with the Gentiles, and to plant His blessing, His sanctuary, and His glory in the midst of Israel.”

C.I. Scofield (1843–1921), author of the Scofield Reference Bible, viewed the oracle of Gog of Magog in Ezekiel 38 and 39 as speaking of the Battle of Armageddon. Scofield, spoke of Ezekiel’s oracle thusly:
“[T]hat destruction should fall at the climax of the last mad attempt to exterminate the remnant of Israel in Jerusalem. The whole prophecy belongs to the yet future ‘day of Jehovah’; Isaiah 2:10-22; Revelation 19:11-21 and to the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:14).”
Charles Lee Feinberg (1909–1995), a prominent Messianic Jewish expositor in his commentary on Ezekiel, states, “The armies of chapter 38-39 would appear to be included in the universal confederacies seen in Zechariah 12 and 14.”
Charles Ryrie, in his Ryrie Study Bible, views Gog and his hordes as one and the same with the Antichrist and his armies.
Dave Hunt, apologist, author and radio commentator, identifies the Gog of Magog Battle with other Antichristic prophecies and views it as a reference to the ultimate battle of Armageddon.
Many other prominent Christian theologians could be cited. If all of these theologians are correct, and Antichrist/Gog does come forth from the modern nation of Turkey, then it would certainly seem appropriate that Turkey is the home to the mythological location of the ancient gateway to hell.
