Mark Kelly Claimed to Support Gun Control One Day Before Buying AR-15

Former astronaut Mark Kelly started the anti-gun group Americans for Responsible Solutions ten months ago, when, while visiting China, he learned of the deaths of 21 children in Newtown, Conn.
It was almost two years after his wife - former Rep. Gabby Giffords - had been shot.
Ten months after Newtown, the group continues to grow and has raised over $11 million from 130,000 donors, Kelly told ABC News on Friday.
Now, Kelly, Giffords and their team want to turn those funds toward the 2014 midterm elections.
"We would like to spend in the 2014 elections what the NRA spent in 2012," he said.
The National Rifle Association spent roughly $19 million during the 2012 election cycle, and Kelly said he was confident his group can match that.
"We've got the resources to be effective for the 2014 elections," he said.

But confidence in gun control groups like Americans for Responsible Solutions and Mayors Against Illegal Guns, backed by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, may be even more shaken after this summer's successful recall of two Colorado state senators who supported stricter gun legislation, as well as the Senate's failed attempt in April to pass a background checks bill.
"You've got to give [gun lobbyists] a lot of credit, especially the NRA has done a fabulous job in trying to accomplish what their goals are," Kelly acknowledged.
Given the NRA's grip on Capitol Hill, Kelly said, "our goal is to eventually have an organization that is as formidable as the gun lobby."
And polls show that Americans for Responsible Solutions and other groups that support stricter gun laws have the support of the public. An April Gallup poll found that 83 percent of Americans support instating background checks before every gun purchase.
"The interesting thing about this issue is that we don't have to change anyone's mind about the policy. … You just have to change their mind about the politics," Kelly said. "You've got to give them the confidence that they can stay in office, and I think we can do that."

What are the forces pulling nations apart? Ethnicity, culture, history and language – but now also economics. And separatist and secessionist movements are cropping up here in the United States.
While many red state Americans are moving away from blue state America, seeking kindred souls among whom to live, those who love where they live but not those who rule them are seeking to secede.
The five counties of western Maryland – Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick and Carroll, which have more in common with West Virginia and wish to be rid of Baltimore and free of Annapolis, are talking secession.

The House Republicans are the adults in the room when it comes to debt talks

President Obama’s minions call conservative House Republicans  jihadists, arsonists and terrorists.  He claims they will harm America’s full faith and credit by demanding fundamental changes to the out of control spending in Washington.
Conservative Republican House members claim raising the debt ceiling by a trillion to 18 trillion, 600 billion annual deficits and having the Fed pump 85 billion phantom bucks monthly into the market, are sure ways of destroying America’s full faith and credit.
But on top of all of this is another huge expense getting enacted this month that will add trillions of additional expense to America in the form of Obamacare.
Americans, who have a basic concept of economics, a knowledge of history and how debt has destroyed mighty nations in the past, see the reckless spending in Washington as immoral and irresponsible. They don’t want to see their children become indentured servants to debt incurred today in order to fund America’s present lifestyles.
Current debt is getting close to Italian levels in ratio.  Italy is an economic basket case, run into the ground by left wing socialist policies and unchecked union power …. Italy, formerly the seat of the Roman Empire, used to be the greatest nation on earth 2,000 years ago and thought it would last forever, until the advent of “bread and circuses.” There are many other examples of great nations collapsing, or even wars starting due to out of control debt.

Conservative Republican House members have been holding the line when it comes to checking the out of control spending in Washington. They want some accountability and some responsibility.
In spite of intense pressure from the White House, its allies in the media and big government politicians of both parties…these House members will demand some economic concessions from the Obama administration, before they give up their leverage.
It’s a sad note to see that our leadership has devolved to the point that just one segment of the three branches of government, has any sense of responsibility when it comes to holding the line against irresponsible spending.

Pentagon Shake-up: Hagel’s No. 2 Hands in Resignation

Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton Carter salutes new Defense Secretary ...Chuck Hagel

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is losing his No. 2 at the Pentagon as Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter handed in his resignation today.
Carter, 59, has been a highly knowledgeable and powerful force inside the Defense Department, serving as Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics from April 2009 until October 2011, when he assumed the DSD role.

Carter had been among the top picks to replace former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta upon his retirement. After President Obama opted for Hagel instead, Obama personally asked Carter to stay on as Hagel’s No. 2.

“Earlier today, I met with Ash Carter and reluctantly accepted his decision to step down as Deputy Secretary of Defense on Dec. 4, after more than four and a half years of continuous service to the Department of Defense,” Hagel said in a statement moments ago.
“Ash has been an extraordinarily loyal and effective Deputy Secretary, both for me and Secretary Panetta.  In his previous capacity as Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, he provided outstanding support to Secretary Gates and – most importantly – to our men and women fighting downrange.  He possesses an unparalleled knowledge of every facet of America’s defense enterprise, having worked directly and indirectly for eleven Secretaries of Defense over the course of his storied career,” Hagel continued.

“I will always be grateful that Ash was willing to stay on and serve as my Deputy Secretary.  I have continually relied upon Ash to help solve the toughest challenges facing the Department of Defense.  I particularly appreciate his work spearheading the Strategic Choices and Management Review, which put the Department in a far stronger position to manage through unprecedented budget uncertainty.  He is a brilliant strategist and an excellent manager who helped enhance the Department’s buying power, but Ash’s most recent tour of the Department will be especially remembered for his tremendous efforts to provide more agile and effective support for our warfighters and their families.  His compassion, love, and determination to overcome any and all bureaucratic obstacles earned him their abiding respect and appreciation.”
Hagel added that he’s “grateful” Carter agreed to stay on for two more months.
Carter has four times been awarded the Department of Defense Distinguished Service Medal and was once awarded the Defense Intelligence Medal. He was Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy in the Clinton administration and most recently taught at Harvard.

Less than a month ago, Carter traveled to Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. “The reason why I came is as a reflection of the fact that the United States and India are two countries that are destined to be security partners on the world stage. That is because we share common interests, but also more fundamentally, many common values and outlooks on issues ranging from defense trade to counter-terrorism to maritime security and beyond,” Carter said at a media roundtable during his final stop.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called Carter “a steady, consistent and effective voice for our men and women in uniform. He also has great respect and admiration from senators on both sides of the aisle.”
“During his time as Deputy Secretary, we have faced some of the most challenging times in the department’s history,” Graham added. “Ash Carter was always there providing exceptional leadership at a time when it mattered. He will truly be missed.”
The announcement comes just over a week into the government shutdown and directly after the fiasco in which the Pentagon denied death gratuities to the survivors of fallen soldiers, something Hagel and his staff deemed unavoidable because lawyers had interpreted the broad Pay Our Military Act to not include the benefits.
Yesterday Hagel announced he would accept help from a donor, the Fisher House, to pay the families. Today the Senate sent a bill explicitly authorizing the payments to Obama’s desk.
“While the damage cannot be fully undone, Congress has spoken and acted in a bipartisan way to rectify the outrageous treatment the families of our fallen heroes received this week,” said Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas). “Now, we’re learning the President has taken his political obstinacy to a new low and believes the legislation Congress has passed to right this wrong is ‘not necessary.’”

Jon Stewart Calls Obama Administration Liars

I think we’ve become used to being derided and disregarded by the main stream media and the movers and shakers of the media world. We are not so used to hearing one of the media’s beloved darlings take our side of any argument, so when it does happen, it takes a little time for us to absorb what’s happening.
I had just that experience watching funnyman and pseudo-news host Jon Stewart interviewing Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius.




Stewart’s best attacks came while questioning Sebelius on why the Obama administration would delay the Employer mandate for one year but they refused to do the same with the individual mandate. He could not understand, with all of the problems in the roll out of the Obamacare scheme, why the Obama administration would choose to give big business a pass but not individual tax payers who were bearing the brunt of the problems to begin with.
“But if I’m if an individual I’m wondering — well, an individual who doesn’t want this because there are individuals clearly that want this — but if I’m an individual that doesn’t want it, it would be hard for me to look at big business getting a waiver and not having to do it and me having to because I would think, ‘geez, it looks like because I don’t have a lobbying group’… I would feel like you are favoring big business because they lobbied you to delay it because they didn’t want to do this year but you are not allowing individuals that same courtesy.” 


Sebelius really had no answer, simply saying that only a few businesses actually got exemptions.
Stewart pushed on, wondering why the administration would not delay the individual mandate after watching so many businesses cut healthcare programs forcing their employees onto Obamacare rolls. In what Stewart called a massive “loophole” in the Obamacare legislation, it truly seems that the people that the law is supposed to help are actually the ones getting screwed. (Which is what Republicans have been saying for almost four years now.)
Again, Sebelius had no retort, only saying that it wasn’t true that businesses were cutting employee healthcare coverage. (Oh really Secretary Sebelius? Here are just three examples; Home Depot, Walgreens, and UPS. But there are more and more examples every day.)
So unconvinced was Stewart by the entire interview, that at the end of the show he took a moment to express his frustrations to his viewers.

“I still don’t understand why individuals have to sign up and businesses don’t, because if the businesses — if she’s saying, ‘well, they get a delay because that doesn’t matter anyway because they already give health care,’ then you think to yourself, ‘f*** it, then why do they have to sign up at all,’” he said. “And then I think to myself, ‘well, maybe she’s just lying to me.’” 


The fact that one of the liberal’s leading lights has begun to question the Obama administration’s official version of events on the Obamacare roll-out leads me to believe that the media spin on which side is winning the public relations battle over Obamacare and the shutdown, may just be spin.
The central Democrat demo are the people watching Stewart’s Daily Show for their news, and they just heard the Republican argument straight from the lips of their own Edward R. Murrow. Stewart may wear a clown nose, but to liberal American twenty-something’s, he’s the closest thing to news they’ll get. If Stewart is indicative of what they’re feeling, then Republicans are in a very good position to win this fight. If they can find the guts to keep up the pressure. That’s a B-I-G if.

Obamacare Means Your Credit Score Could Hurt Your Healthcare

Mass confusion in Florida as the state’s leading “Navigator” spreads a scare message about credit scores.
The Navigators have been put in place to help guide regular Americans with no idea about Obamacare, and the many aspects of the new healthcare legislation. They are supposed to help uninformed healthcare hopefuls on which avenues are the best to use, and what they need to do to maximize their healthcare benefits.
One of the leading Navigators in the state of Florida recently went on with a local Orlando, FL news station and told Floridians that their credit score will impact their health insurance.



Anne Packham, one of many people licensed by the state to help people navigate the government's website, said on Tuesday that the credit check was put in place so providers can make an educated decision about who to insure... Local 6 is investigating how the person in charge of providing information about the Affordable Care Act could make such an error.

Is this just another example of the terrible preparations for the roll out of Obamacare? I don’t think so. I think it’s likely more devious than that. There is just no way that a person who has been trained to help people complete their healthcare paperwork would simply pull something like that from seemingly nowhere.
It seems likely to me that there is a “credit history” component to the Obamacare program, and that it, like most of Obamacare, is just not ready for primetime yet. So while this year your credit rating may not matter, in the near future, part of the assessment process will involve what your credit rating looks like. Does that mean people with better credit get better healthcare? Or perhaps, the worse your rating, the more you’ll have to pay?
I think we’ll be hearing a lot more stories like this in the days, weeks, and months to come as Americans begin to figure out more of the scary potholes that litter the Obamacare legislation. Seems like Nancy Pelosi may have been right after all… they had to pass it for us to figure out what was in it.
Here’s a hint… it’s nothing good.

John McCain Attacks Conservatives

John McCain (R-AZ) is a hero of the Vietnam War. From everything we’ve been told about his harrowing experiences during his time as a Prisoner of War, he acted bravely -- heroically even -- and he should be given respect for that service to his country. Any man who is willing to lay his life on the line for his fellow citizen is worthy of our respect and admiration.
All of that being said… it’s time for John McCain to ride off into the sunset.

John McCain is becoming the Democrat’s best weapon in their war on the Republican Party.
For the last few weeks, Republicans and Democrats have been battling over who will be perceived as being most to blame for the government shutdown. As an Eagle Rising reader, you know that while we don’t fear the shutdown as much as some, we are thoroughly in the Republican corner when it comes to who should be blamed.
The Democrat Party is fully to blame for what is happening. The Democrats, led by Harry Reid and President Obama, have refused to negotiate even a jot or tittle of the budget in an attempt to end the impasse.
You wouldn’t know it by listening to John McCain. 




Leave it to John McCain to step onto the Senate floor and begin reciting the Democrats talking points over the politics of the shutdown. Obviously still annoyed at the tactic used by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) a couple of weeks ago, McCain continued to attack the repeal Obamacare effort.
“Somehow, to think that we are going to repeal Obamacare, which would have required 67 Republican votes, of course, was a false premise, and I think did the American people a great disservice by convincing them that somehow we could.”
Again, McCain exposes his shortsightedness in his belief that because repeal of Obamacare would be nigh impossible… it wasn’t worth fighting.
McCain truly believes that we didn’t realize that Obamacare would not be repealed. Of course, President Obama would veto the effort, if it made it that far. We all were aware of what was happening, Senator. The point wasn’t about repeal. The point was proving to the legislature, the media, and the world that Obamacare is unpopular and unwanted in the United States of America. The point was showing that the people, especially conservative Republicans, supported Republican efforts to defund Obamacare.
Now McCain continues to compound his failures with his disgusting attacks on conservative members of his own party. Please Senator McCain, don’t wait until 2016, retire now and let Arizonans elect a new Senator through a special election. You are no longer a useful member of the Republican Party, and you could serve your constituents and your party best by walking away

From Egypt, the message is "Obama keep your aid"

CAIRO, Oct 11 (Reuters) - A U.S. decision to curtail military and economic aid to Egypt to promote democracy may ultimately backfire, pushing Cairo to seek assistance elsewhere and giving Washington less leverage to stabilise a country in the heart of the Middle East.
Washington faces a dilemma in dealing with its major regional ally: Egypt controls the Suez Canal and has a peace treaty with neighbouring Israel but its army overthrew the first freely elected president, Islamist Mohamed Mursi, in July.
The United States said on Wednesday it would withhold deliveries of tanks, fighter aircraft, helicopters and missiles to Cairo as well as $260 million in cash aid to push the army-backed government to steer the nation towards democracy.
Egypt's government, the second largest recipient of U.S. aid after Israel, said it would not bow to American pressure. The country's military, which has been leading the crackdown against Mursi's Muslim Brotherhood, can afford to be even more defiant.

Hundreds of Brotherhood members were killed and about 2,000 Islamist activists and Brotherhood leaders, including Mursi, were arrested.
Army chief Abdel Fatah al-Sisi has emerged as the most popular public figure in Egypt, and he is well aware that many Egyptians have both turned sharply against the Brotherhood and bitterly concluded that Washington supports the movement.
At the same time, many Brotherhood members believe the Obama administration was behind what it calls a military coup.
With its credibility in question, Washington has little chance of getting the two sides to compromise and take part in a democratic, inclusive political process.
Even the European Union, which is seen as far more neutral, has made little headway.
LOOKING TO RUSSIA
Most worrying for the United States is the possibility that the Egyptian army -- the largest in the Arab world -- will turn to a rival country for aid after decades of close ties to Washington.
The United States has long provided Egypt with about $1.55 billion in annual aid, including $1.3 billion for the military.

Military officials told Reuters that the country's generals have grown mistrustful of the United States throughout the political crisis that erupted after Mursi's overthrow.
They were infuriated from early on when the United States began hinting that action could be taken to demonstrate Washington's displeasure at Mursi's removal. Military officials said they were not surprised by the reduction in aid.
"There is a saying among us that 'whoever is covered by the Americans is in fact naked'," one military source said.
"Americans shift their positions based on their interests and don't have principles. But we also know that whatever they say or hint they would do, in the end they will not want to lose Egypt."
Egypt's army is exploring its options. "The military definitely has plans to diversify its source of weapons which include going to Russia," said the military source, who did not elaborate.
El Watan newspaper, which is close to the army, quoted a military source as saying that Egypt will soon announce deals for arms from "new markets other than America" which are of the same standard as ones from the United States.

American efforts to sell democracy in Egypt and return the Brotherhood to politics have deepened long-standing mistrust of the United States.

CONSPIRACY THEORIES
Conspiracy theories about American plans to divide Egypt and the greater Middle East have mushroomed, with some of the plots detailed in diagrams in newspapers.
"Screw the American aid," read one banner newspaper headline in red. In one part of Cairo, a poster of the American president with a white beard reads "Obama is a terrorist".
Military officials buy in to some of the conspiracy theories, including one which suggests that U.S. ally Israel wants Islamists in power in the Middle East to keep the region unstable.
"Islamists ruling Arabs would be enough to ensure that Israel remain the biggest power in the region," one colonel said.
Support from Gulf Arab states such as Saudi Arabia, which were happy to see Mursi go because of their loathing of the Brotherhood, could give Egypt room for manoeuvre if it decides to move away from the United States.

After Mursi was deposed, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates promised Egypt a total of $12 billion in loans, grants and fuel shipments. The aid has kept the economy afloat and may give Egypt some policy flexibility.

"Compared to Gulf aid, American aid is peanuts. It won't financially affect Egypt and could easily be filled by Gulf countries," said Abdullah al-Askar, chairman of the foreign affairs committee in Saudi Arabia's Shoura Council, an appointed parliament that has only advisory powers.
"People in the Gulf do not see (cutting the aid) as a democratic message. Otherwise why is America allowing the Syrian regime to continue killing people every day?"
Both Saudi Arabia and Egypt -- Washington's most important allies in the Arab world -- are frustrated with U.S. policy and see Washington as an indecisive superpower.
"The U.S. position is not clear and not understood and comes at a time when Egypt needs help," a government official said. "For sure the U.S. will lose the support of the Egyptian people and it is natural that the void it leaves by its loss of the Egyptian people will benefit another power in the world."
Israel also has issues with the American approach in Egypt. Israel welcomed in private the downfall of Mursi and had urged Washington behind the scenes to provide full support to the new military-backed government in Cairo.

"I would not be surprised, by the way, if tomorrow or the day after, the Saudis and others begin to hold talks with the Russians under the carpet in order to ensure there will be a protective umbrella when the time comes," Former Israeli Defence Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told Israel Radio.

Sisi has promised a political road map will bring free and fair elections. He is not under any real pressure from Egyptians to speed up the process, and Egyptian officials won't take it too kindly if the United States keeps pressing the military.
"Any inch Obama loses, another power will gain and we will not mind," said the government official.

Now It’s Time for Full Throttle Defund of Obamacare

The House plans to pass a bill to raise the debt limit by $117 billion, bringing the new deadline to November 22.  The bill will specifically prohibit the Treasury Department from using extraordinary measures to concoct an arbitrary crisis deadline.
Conservatives can debate the prudence of this particular strategy, but the more important question is what comes after the vote on this bill.  The establishment has been trying to conflate the budget battle with the debt ceiling and transform our priorities into extraneous policy issues that are not nearly as serious and as pressing as Obamacare.
Now they have no excuse to ignore the Obamacare fight.
[Parenthetically, this delay should also preclude any effort to bring up amnesty this year.]
Once the debt ceiling is pushed into November, Republicans must all unite behind full defunding of Obamacare.  No talk about taxes, Social Security, or Medicare.  No talk about a grand bargain or vague fiscal agreements. With premiums skyrocketing, implementation of Obamacare crashing, and massive dependency right around the corner, we don’t have time for other policy fights.  This is the one the public sees most, and this is the one we must message throughout the Democrat shutdown.

Our message is very simple: this law was passed using the budget process to circumvent a higher vote threshold.  Now that the law is proven to be unworkable, it will be uprooted through the budget process.  We are willing to fund every other aspect of government, including those functions we oppose, except for Obamacare and the agencies tasked with enforcing it.
Unfortunately, there are those in the party who are not only distracting us with other issues but are also watering down our messaging on Obamacare.  Mitch McConnell and Susan Collins are committed to making this fight about repealing the medical device tax.  Obviously, the end-point of the negotiations would be a mere delay of that tax.
Although this is a harmful tax, it doesn’t cut to the core of Obamacare.  The entire law needs to be defunded, and at the very least, delayed.  Obamacare is not just about the cost of the health insurance.  The 159 boards, agencies, and programs created by the law completely interrupt the delivery of healthcare and destroy the doctor-patient relationship. This is about our entire healthcare system, not just the cost.  Focusing on the medical device tax, while leaving the rest of the law intact, is like failing to remove a brain tumor but taking solace in setting a broken ankle on the same patient.
If conservatives are willing to give some leeway on a temporary increase in the debt ceiling, leadership must begin refocusing on defunding Obamacare.  Otherwise, they should just pass a long-term CR and debt limit increase, and go home.
 

The Day That I Dread Is Coming…

As we have all seen and been reminded of by many, Mr. Obama surrounds himself with Marxists, Muslims, sycophants, and criminals (lawbreakers in the real definition).
But there is coming a day where Bathhouse Barry will realize (to his horror) that he has been a “useful idiot” to those who surround him and a mere “puppet” to those who write the words that he reads on his ever present teleprompter. (Have you heard him speak without it? Yikes- his intelligence seeps away in a hurry!)
In that day of awakening and the spine that might be stiffened as a result, we will be introduced to the nightmare of the character of Obama, the vicious, spiteful, cruel, and heartless twisted individual that he really is.

If his ego is crushed the moment he realizes what a fool he has been played for and then rebounds as he takes full control and sweeps aside those who have been his advisors, we are in real trouble as a nation. By pulling the strings they have attached to the hollow man and maneuvering him in the directions they have planned for him, there has been some purpose in mind, an overarching and clear direction. But that would end with a bang, and the monster would be revealed, if Mr. Obama decides to be his own man and defines his own path.
Take, for instance, the closure of the symbols of the greatness and exceptionalism of America and the monuments that celebrate it. The slamming of the door in the face of those who bought the freedoms that our symbols celebrate and feature for all to see is the beginning of what I believe to be the independent decisions of an Obama set free from the constraints that have up until this time held him in check. The withholding of checks from the folks who have earned them, and the clear exceptions made for those whose only redeeming quality in the mind of the President is that they vote for him, is glaring. The open access to the illegal immigrants and the unions who back the President over the closed access to those who fought for the nation, and earned the honor of having monuments erected in their name, is clear cruelty on the part of the man now fully pulling the strings.

We have entered a new era where the resolve of the people must be for supporting the roots of the nation and standing firm against the tyranny that is blossoming, courtesy of the demon of ego that is now awakened and without constraint in the leader of this “free” people.
God help us to stand up.

The Alabama Supreme Court May Collapse Obama’s House Of Cards

What’s been the biggest obstacle in challenging Obama’s eligibility in court? It’s been finding a judge who isn’t afraid to allow the merits of the case against Obama to be argued in court. The Alabama Supreme Court might just be different. In an earlier case before the Alabama Supremes, Associate Judge Tom Parker stated that “McInnish has attached certain documentation (Joe Arpaio’s investigation) to his mandamus petition, which, if presented to the appropriate forum as part of a proper evidentiary presentation, would raise serious questions about the authenticity of both the ‘short form’ and ‘long form’ birth certificates of President Barack Hussein Obama that have been made public.”
Here, we have a judge who actually recognizes that the fake birth certificates are a serious issue and should be addressed. Now we have a new case before the Alabama Supreme Court. This case is McInnish/Goode v. Beth Chapman (SOS). It is being handled by famous attorney Larry Klayman. Also, it will be the first and only civil case in which Joe Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse is personally involved. Chief investigator for Arpaio Mike Zullo has written a 200 point affidavit to this court and has agreed to testify in person. Zullo will show the court that the “picture” of the long form birth certificate is a 100% digitally created fake.
Now comes even better news. In the 2012 elections, Alabama elected Judge Roy Moore as the Chief Justice of her Supreme Court. In an earlier interview concerning the case against Terry Lakin, Justice Moore stated that he not only thought that Lt. Col Lakin had a right to question Obama’s eligibility, but had a duty to do so.

He also said that he has seen no documentary evidence that Obama is a natural born citizen, and in fact hasn’t seen anything that even proves he is a citizen of the US. Judge Roy Moore is a staunch Constitutionalist who declares that the Constitution is the “law of the land” and cannot be changed by politics. He’s a tough judge.
I’ve followed most of the eligibility cases, and I’ve noticed a very common occurrence. Even in those cases in which the judge appears to follow the law, there seems always to be a sudden and abrupt change. As in the Georgia case before Judge Michael Malihi, the case was pretty well decided by a default judgment against Obama when Malihi abruptly dismissed the case. This was done even though Obama’s attorneys refused to show up in court.
When you read Judge Malihi’s decision and compare it to his earlier denial of motion to dismiss, it’s as if they were written by two different people. Could it be that Judge Malihi got a visit? And from whom? And who wrote the decision? I don’t see this happening to Judge Roy Moore and the Alabama Supreme Court. I don’t think they can be intimidated. There is no timeline for the court to rule on this case, so we wait to see what happens. This could be monumental.

President Barack Obama decided to offer his opinion on the controversial subject known by its name as the “Washington Redskins”.
For years since the team got its name, a handful of native Americans have picketed outside the stadium stating that the name is derogatory.
I have been a Washington Redskins fan since 1983, when I had a chance to meet Joe Jacoby, Russ Grimm, Jeff Bostic, a.k.a. the “Hogs”.

I have never heard a single fan ever express their disdain for the name. I own a 45 recording of “Hail to the Redskins” and still sing when the team scores.
Instead of butting in where his opinion doesn’t matter, shouldn’t the President focus on re-opening the government? Once again, his priorities seem focused on appeasing small interest groups rather than solving big picture problems.

The Death Of America

As Senator Mike Lee so eloquently explained during Ted Cruz’s historic filibuster against Obamacare, the Supreme Court had to in effect rewrite the “Affordable” Care Act—now seen to be the total opposite—in order to make it constitutional. The Supreme Court found that Obama could not mandate behavior on the basis of the Commerce Clause—as his lawyers had argued—but could mandate behavior on the basis of Congress’ power to tax.
Despite what the Supreme Court ruled, this power is clearly not found in the Constitution.
This in effect gives the federal government the authority to mandate any behavior that supposedly causes the cost of healthcare to go down, as long as they call it a tax: gym membership, eating vegetables, limiting Americans’ access to fast food, etc.

How would the Obama regime determine that all Americans were complying with this healthy mandate? Think of Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” program on steroids. There would need to be surveillance everywhere—even in our homes. Picture the Feds breaking down your door to confiscate cold pizza from your refrigerator!
Can’t happen? In 2008, America wouldn’t have believed the Feds would break down someone’s door to confiscate a legal firearm, but it’s now happening with increasing frequency.
A word of warning, America: Either Obamacare is struck down, or America herself will cease to exist.

I’m being told by several sources that Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor are plotting to give up trying to either defund or delay Obamacare.
This comes at the same time the Obama administration admits it will be months before their Obamacare website will be fixed and Kathleen Sebelius is saying if people want out of the mandate they can pay a fine.
Nonetheless, Cantor, Boehner, and with them Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn are expected to cave in and fully fund, unimpeded, Obamacare.
They will work up a new deal that includes a debt ceiling increase with a few sops to the GOP as cover. The only change they are still considering it the medical device tax repeal, which is being heavily lobbied for by former Boehner and McConnell staffers who left for K Street.
A number of Democrats who are recipients of campaign cash along with these Republicans may provide a crony capitalist bridge over which this one tax repeal can pass while leaving in place all the other taxes, penalties, and fees.
But John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Mitch McConnell, and John Cornyn will ensure that Obamacare is fully funded and give the American public no delay like businesses have.
In doing so, they will sow the seeds of a real third party movement that will fully divide the Republican Party.

Urgent Call to Action! Calling All Oath Keepers and All Veterans to Support WWII Veterans at Memorials to Assist Them in WHATEVER They Want to Do

WWII Heroes Getting Ready to Jump in Behind Enemy Lines.  Time for One More Jump!

Calling all Oath Keepers (and any other veterans) to back up our World War II veterans at the Washington DC area memorials, such as the World War II memorial, the Iwo Jima memorial, Arlington Cemetary, the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, and anywhere else that that the Honor Flights go.   Go there and put yourselves under the command of the WWII vets.  If they want the barricades down, they should come down, come hell or high water.  No WWII vet should be denied access the the Iwo Jima memorial,  the WWII memorial, or to any other memorial they want to visit.   For many of them, on those Honor Flights, this will be THEIR LAST TRIP to go and pay their respects to their brothers who did not make it back.  It is intolerable to let Obama block their access for his petty partisan manipulations over the govt “shutdown.”
The WWII veterans who have taken down the barricades at the Iwo Jima memorial, and have ignored them at the World War II memorial, did exactly what needs to be done.  We need to help them, and protect them.  Go there and be their “arms and legs” to get done WHATEVER they want done.  And go there with the conviction that you are not under the command of the police, not under the command of the Park Service, and not under the command of Obama.  You are under the command of the World War II veterans, and only the World War II veterans. Your mission is to assist the  WWII vets in doing WHATEVER they want to do.

There are already thousands of American veterans converging on Washington DC this weekend for this very purpose.   You need to be there to help them, if at all possible.  If you can go, you must go.
Last year, I had the privilege of escorting WWII Airborne veteran Warren Bodecker from Montana on an Honor Flight to DC, with a plane load of other WWII veterans from Montana.  It was a life changing experience to see these true American heroes make the pilgrimage to the World War II Memorial in Washington DC, knowing that for many of them it will their last trip.  They stood against fascism, against arbitrary, totalitarian government over there – they defeated the foreign enemies of the Constitution.    will we suffer them to be oppressed and tyrannized by fascists – by the DOMESTIC enemies of the Constitution here?  Forbid it almighty God.
After returning from his Honor Flight, Warren Bodeker gave a speech where he said that he had done four combat jumps as a paratrooper in WWII, with one of them being a jump behind enemy lines to liberate the POWs at Los Banos prison camp in the Philippines, who were marked for death by the Japanese Army.    He told us that he wanted to do ONE MORE JUMP BEHIND ENEMY LINES, INTO WASHINGTON DC, against the domestic enemies of our Constitution.    Renn understands the reality of where we are as a country, and he is saddened and sickened by what he sees happening to the country he loves.
Like so many of his brothers, he realizes now how they had not paid enough attention to the domestic enemies of the Constitution, and he understands that unless we stand now, then all that his brothers sacrificed, all their blood, sweat, and tears, will have been for nothing.  We cannot let that happen.

Let’s take a stand with them, and support them in leading the way, one last time, to show their fellow Americans what it means to be an American.  Let them set the example of resistance to nonsensical, arbitrary, and illegitimate oppression.   Help them set the example as they make one more “jump” behind enemy lines.
Go to DC and back them up, this weekend, next week, and as long as it takes.

Worksheet asks Students to erase Amendments from the Bill of Rights

A school in Arkansas assigned homework that asks students to erase and replace portions of the Bill of Rights.
The worksheet handed out to sixth graders in Bryant School District — called “Assessment over the Bill of Rights” (pictured fully below) — tasks students with “revising and editing” the first ten amendments of the Constitution where they need to “prioritizes, prune, and add amendments” in order to turn in the assignment.
“The government of the United States is currently revisiting the Bill of Rights,” says the History class exercise. “They have determined it is outdated and may not remain in its current form any longer. Their aim is to ensure our personal civil liberties and the pursuit of happiness remains guarded in the 21st century. The government has asked for input from experts on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. You have been selected to participate on the National Revised Bill of Rights Task Force (NRBR).”
Lela Spears, the mother of a Bryant sixth grader who brought the worksheet home, says this was the first assignment her daughter received regarding the Constitution or government. According the the Digital Journal, when asked if she would condone discarding any of the first ten amendments, the mother said: “No, never.”

The Bryant School District is participating in the federal Common Core curriculum. The school’s website makes the following claim about the national standard:

“Bryant School District has embraced [the Common Core] challenge because the standards will better prepare students for college and the workforce, making them nationally and internationally competitive graduates.  While teachers, administrators, and students will have to adapt to new learnings, our district has some of the most qualified staff and students who will be up to the challenge.”

The worksheet refers to a “Mrs. Knight” which is likely Terry Knight, according to the school district’s faculty directory, which lists her phone number and email address. The “website” link under Knight’s name confirms that she teaches U.S. History.

Obama Disobeys the Law of the Land

The Democrats are chanting that Republicans must fully fund Obamacare because it is the law of the land, passed by Congress, signed by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court. Therefore, they say, it must be obeyed and can’t be altered by Republicans who want to defund it.
That argument is both wrong and hypocritical. Any federal law can be changed, repealed, amended or defunded by our legislative branch of government, Congress.
The Republican House wants to deal with the controversial huge “continuing resolution” bill in separate pieces, giving the OK to worthwhile federal spending purposes while leaving others (like Obamacare) without funds. Obama refuses to negotiate and demands a “clean” (blank-check) bill; his position is all-or-nothing-at-all.
Actually, the Supreme Court decision did not give a “clean” upholding of Obamacare. The Court effectively rewrote the law by allowing states to opt out of Medicaid expansion, and other pieces of Obamacare are still being litigated in federal courts, such as the mandate that employer-required insurance must include objectionable abortifacient drugs.
Obama’s hypocrisy about the issue of considering Obamacare in pieces is obvious from the many times he has unilaterally messed with other matters that are clearly the law of the land. He has frequently refused to enforce other laws of the land he doesn’t like, and he pretends to legislate laws that Congress declined to pass.

Welfare reform is truly the law of the land; it was passed by Congress in 1996 and signed by President Clinton to “end welfare as we know it.” But in violation of the law’s explicit language, Obama unilaterally carved out (in effect, repealed) the “work” (or training for work) requirement for persons receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
Obama’s use of waivers from various laws of the land is notorious. He has given waivers from the No Child Left Behind law of the land to more than half of the states.
Obama has even picked pieces out of Obamacare. He gave a one-year deferral of its insurance employer mandate to large employers, and he exempted Congress and government staff from the requirement on individuals to buy compulsory insurance or pay a significant penalty.
Obama’s Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, admits that a federal law of the land prohibits the federal government from interfering with or dictating public school curriculum. But Obama used carrot-and-stick tactics to bribe or threaten a majority of states to adopt Common Core, and Duncan pretends it is OK for the feds to require states to be aligned with federally approved Common Core standards and Common Core tests, which will effectively dictate school curriculum.

Obama has repeatedly taken away from other branches of government powers that are specifically granted in the U.S. Constitution.
The Constitution makes an undiluted grant of power to Congress “to regulate commerce with foreign nations.” Obama is trying to coopt that power for himself by demanding that Congress pass “Fast Track,” an enormous unconstitutional shift that would give Obama the authority to write our trade treaties in secret and then let Congress vote on them under rules that limit Congress’s power to debate or amend them, all within in a short preset time period.
All these foreign trade treaties are encrusted with promises about how they will create U.S. jobs. Those are all lies; every single month since Congress accepted the Korea trade agreement in March 2012, our exports to Korea have declined, and the agreement has already cost us 40,000 U.S. jobs.
The Constitution gives the House of Representatives the power of the purse in the Origination Clause in Article I. But Obamacare’s taxing and spending sections actually originated in the Senate, a maneuver not yet ruled on by the Supreme Court.
The Constitution starts with the powerful words, “All legislative powers” are vested in Congress, consisting of a Senate and House. Paying no attention to the Constitution, Obama has done his own legislating.

Congress declined to pass the Dream Act, but Obama is legislating it anyway through regulations. In defiance of the law of the land, Obama has allowed millions of aliens to stay and work illegally in the United States.

His regulations are designed to bankrupt coal plants, skyrocket our electricity costs so we can’t “keep our homes on 72 degrees,” and spend our tax dollars to subsidize inefficient, costly solar and wind energy.
In April 2012, nine state Attorneys General issued a Memo listing 21 violations of law by the Obama Administration, and now we have so many more examples. Obama is the one who doesn’t obey the law of the land.

Government shutdown prompts acts of defiance across U.S.

(Reuters) - As the U.S. government shutdown enters its second week, squeezed businessmen, exasperated citizens and even a few fed-up politicians have joined forces across the United States in acts of defiance large and small.
From re-opening monuments and scaling park barricades to hiring lawyers, individuals and institutions have stopped waiting for the House Republicans and the White House to end the feud that has tied up many government services.
In North Carolina, innkeeper Bruce O'Connell drew national attention when he briefly reopened the Pisgah Inn, a scenic spot 5,000 feet above sea level on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The inn was ordered shut by the National Park Service last week because it sits on government property.

After a brief moment of defiance, the innkeeper reluctantly closed down again, but he has hired lawyers to seek permission from a federal judge to reopen and put his nearly 100 employees back to work during what is typically their busiest season.
"We're not giving up," O'Connell said on Tuesday. "We're fighting harder and harder by the minute."
He was among many across the country taking a stand against the shutdown, a result of Republicans' efforts to delay parts of President Barack Obama's healthcare law.
Among its wide-reaching effects, the shutdown sent hundreds of thousands of federal workers home without pay, shuttered Head Start learning programs for children in six states, slowed aid to families of U.S. troops killed overseas and closed national parks.
Even some state agencies are defying the shutdown. Wisconsin's Department of Natural Resources, under Republican Governor Scott Walker, has ignored a federal directive to close seven state park properties that get funding from the federal government.
Despite a call on Monday from the National Park Service saying it hoped the state would abide by the service's original instructions, Wisconsin is standing firm. It says only 18 percent of parks' funding, or about $700,000, comes from the federal government.
"We said firmly but respectfully we're going to keep going," said department Secretary Cathy Stepp on Tuesday. "We have people come here from around the country to see the fall colors, to see migratory birds, for duck hunting. We're open."

BREAKING BARRIERS
For war veterans who had scheduled visits to monuments, the barriers came down eventually with an assist from the park service itself. About 25 World War Two and Korean War veterans from the St. Louis-area and elsewhere were allowed to visit the National World War Two Memorial in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.
The park service removed barricades and ushered the groups in just as it had for hundreds of veterans last week, citing the Constitution's First Amendment right to free speech and assembly.
The veterans groups were joined by U.S. Senators Roy Blunt and Claire McCaskill of Missouri on Tuesday and also toured the Korean War Veterans Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery.
"You talk to your Congressman and you talk to your senator and you get the feeling they are doing everything they can to get the government squared away," said Steve Chalmers, 82, who served in the Coast Guard during the Korean War. "But the fact of the matter is they still haven't gotten it down."
Some other citizens - even in the face of obstacles - refused to back down. An estimated 1,000 hikers and bikers entered Acadia National Park in Maine on Monday, bypassing barricades and signs declaring the park and its roads closed, according to local media reports.

A skeleton crew of rangers issued trespassing citations to some of the visitors who were camping or entering the park in vehicles, the Portland Press Herald said.
Still others are organizing protests they hope will draw attention to the financial damage to businesses caused by the shutdown.
Dozens of fishing guides in Florida's Everglades planned to gather on the outskirts of the national park on Wednesday to protest its closing, which has forced many to cancel guided trips and lose out on tens of thousands of dollars in income.
Charter captain Matt Bellinger said he expected more than 100 boats filled with fisherman and hospitality workers to join forces. They will demonstrate against the closing of the massive wetland as well as the waters of Florida Bay, an 800-square-mile area of world-class fishing between the southern tip of the mainland and the Florida Keys.
"The Rangers actually left the park last week to come to marinas to tell us to stay out," Bellinger said. "They spent the money they don't have on fuel, on labor to tell us to stay out."

Police State or the Land of the Free?

ALERT: Police state unaffected by Government Shutdown. Take Action! Demand Congress to DEFUND and DISMANTLE the police state!

Despite the "government shutdown" and the manufactured panic in Washington, the American Police State is in full operation.

Federal policing agencies, policies, and programs have not suffered cuts even while Congress remains at a stalemate on the budget resolution. In fact, the Rutherford Institute's John Whitehead says the police state is "the one area least impacted by a government shutdown."

This said, things like NSA spying, TSA searches, and domestic drone surveillance are still chipping away at our precious "right to be left alone" protected by the Bill of Rights.

At the same time, we're seeing an increasingly militarized DHS - stockpiling ammunition and purchasing tanks to operate on our streets - and an antagonistic DoD that's using "training" information hostile towards patriotic Americans and our founding fathers, labeling them as "extremists." (Sadly, this type of anti-liberty propaganda has been going on for over a decade.)

We The People must say "Enough is Enough!" and fight to rollback this federal tyranny!

Now is the time to demand our elected servants to dismantle the police state and protect our liberty, not the other way around.

Police State: Amassing Ammunition

Seeing that TSA Agents operating within our nation's airports are unarmed, the Administration's recent request for 3,454,000 rounds of .347 caliber "training ammunition" is astounding.

Government Security News reports that, with that amount of ammunition, "the TSA could fire off more than 9,400 rounds per day, every day of the year, to consume that entire quantity annually."

In a special committee meeting earlier this year, Rep. Jason Chaffetz pointed out that the Department of Homeland Security already possesses, per capita, more rounds than the United States Army!

"Based on Homeland Security's allocation of 1,300 to 1,600 rounds per officer," said Rep. Chaffetz. "Homeland Security officers used roughly a thousand rounds more per person, or, per officer, than the average Army officer [in fiscal year 2012]."

The TSA's latest solicitation, paired with the fact that its parent Agency's stockpile rivals that of the U.S. Army - the original Constitutional body for our nation's defense - is not only astounding, but patently unacceptable.

With this most recent revelation, we need to again rally lawmakers into action! 


Police State: Firing on Americans?

Why does the Department of Homeland Security need more ammunition per capita than the United States Army simply for "training" purposes, and why does a largely unarmed TSA need millions of rounds of ammunition?

Obama's DHS has long been stockpiling weapons and ammunition - including hollow-points - for what purpose? Remember, Homeland Security is placing these orders not the Department of Defense!

Is Obama's "civilian military" being assembled under our noses - the one he hinted at during his 2008 campaign when he said,

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

(Note: The defense budget at the time of this statement was $439 billion; to keep the "civilian" force "just as well-funded" would require an additional $439 billion.) 


Georgia's Rep. Paul Broun says that Obama's "civilian military force" is:

"... totally against freedom, it's not in the best interest of the American people ... [it's] exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany, it's exactly what the Soviet Union did. In fact, every fascist dictatorship [had] established a national police force or national security force ...As a peace-loving, freedom-loving American who believes in the Constitution as our founding fathers meant it to be, I'm just extremely fearful of this kind of mentality."

So far as one can tell, Rep. Broun is being proven absolutely correct.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Jim Garrow told Ben Swann in an interview that the Obama Administration is in the process of expelling military officers that aren't willing to fire on American citizens!

Garrow says, "... the Obama Administration is in fact pushing the military into doing things which are a breach of the Constitution and a breach of the Second Amendment." 


Police State: Conditioning the Public

Since Obama took office, military training exercises in public locations have not been uncommon - in fact, they are now being described as "routine."

The Miami Herald reported earlier this year that black helicopters were "buzzing around" Miami. Their purpose? Police explained:

"This ... routine training conducted by military personnel [is] designed to ensure the military's ability to operate in urban environments, prepare forces for upcoming overseas deployments, and meet mandatory training certification requirement."

In case that isn't scary enough, consider the following from the Examiner:

"Nevertheless, the sight of soldiers rappelling onto rooftops and the sound of gunfire have many concerned.

At one point, a photographer in Miami captured video of a military helicopter firing its machine guns as it flew over an area freeway. The chopper was firing blanks, but an artist visiting the city apparently didn't know that.

'I heard the machine gun fire and then I hit the deck...I didn't know what to expect, and it was one of the loudest things I'd ever heard,' Josh Epperson said."

While Obama's DHS and its subsidiaries load-up on ammunition and purchase "assault weapons" - the very kinds that gun-grabbers wish to remove from the hands of Americans - far too many in Congress are sitting on their hands! 


We need to take action right away and demand that Congress do what they were elected to do and defend our liberty... not Executive tyranny. 


Police State: Disarmament

In the Virginia Ratifying Convention of 1778, George Mason identified one of King George III's tactics to control the colonists: disarmament.

Mason said:

"Forty years ago, when the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually ..."

Our founders knew well that big government always prefers to rule by disarmament, because an unarmed populace - like Mason rightly noted - is an "enslaved" one.

In addition to providing specifications for an army to be raised for the defense of the States' freedom (see: Article I, Section 8, Clause 12); the Second Amendment to the Constitution established "the right to keep and bear arms." Thus, the Constitutional provision for Congress to create Armed Forces is treated as separate from the individual's right to hold his own arms. In other words, the Second Amendment was not adopted to establish rights for an army; no, it was adopted to codify the natural, individual right to self-defense and as a block against tyranny.

On January 16, Barack Obama made a declaration in front of the nation in opposition to this basic, constitutional right. His nearly thirty-minute address on "curbing gun violence" was a direct attack on our Second Amendment. 


Despite his oath of office - which he has now orated twice - where he placed his hand on the Bible and proclaimed that he will, to the best of his ability, "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" - Obama has worked against the Constitution in the name of defending it.

Though many of his executive actions urged Congress to take action - regardless of the fact the not one of the twenty-three are in the proper role of the general government - Barack Obama has stood against the People's right to keep and bear arms.

Obama wants a disarmed public, despite his claims that he supports the Second Amendment.

Let's be clear: Obama wants to be in full control. Gun-owning, self-sufficient Americans are the very people that stand as a threat to him and his Big Government agenda. He hates individuals strong-enough to bear arms and care for themselves and their families.

Simply, Obama wants a nation of sheep.

But Congress - the People's representatives - must act on our behalf and stop his attack on gun ownership and dismantle his police state completely! 


Police State: Targeting Patriots

Obama's "Interagency Working Group to Counter Online Radicalization to Violence" is just another Big Government tool that endangers patriotic Americans.

While the agency's high-sounding title may sound admirable, it only takes one scratch on its surface to prove otherwise. The key is in the questions: Who is does the agency target? Who are the so-called "radicals"?

Seeing that White House website describes the group essentially as a digital counterterrorism police force - able to "investigate and prosecute" - it isn't striking to see groups like al-Qa'ida listed as targets. However, what is striking is the agency's listing of "sovereign citizens" among legitimate terrorist organizations.

That's right; Obama's new "digital cops" are directed to take action against so-called "extremists" who "believe that even though they physically reside in this country, they are separate or 'sovereign' from the United States."

These are Americans he is after!

Under this criterion, our founding fathers would today be considered enemies of the state, and their Declaration of Independence called a "terrorist" manifesto! 


It looks like West Point's junk-study that essentially declares war on patriotism is paying off...

How many more bricks will Congress allow the Dictator-in-Chief Barack Obama to lay in his building of the American Police State? Further, how many more Americans will be arrested, imprisoned, or added to Barack Obama's personal kill list?

We must tell Congress that enough is enough! They must completely defund Obama's gestapo-type agencies now! 


Police State: A Standing Army

Some of our Nation's founders rightly warned against "standing armies," having the memory of King George III's continental troops and their tyranny fresh in their minds.

It was James Madison who said that, "A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty."

Madison's words are being proven correct today. Would the Great Virginian Founder have guessed that, in addition to an Army and Navy, the U.S. President would wield his very own domestic security force?

The fact is: Obama's DHS is becoming more and more militarized.

According to a piece at Investors, the DHS' ammunition stockpile could have serviced the government's peak military involvement in Iraq - when 5.5. million rounds were fired every month - for twenty-four years!

It is estimated that the DHS holds over 1.6 million rounds of ammunition, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm - as the Investors piece notes, "sufficient firepower to shoot every American about five times... including illegal immigrants."

Sarah Palin believes that the Executive Branch is accumulating rounds in order to quell a civil uprising that she believes will result from economic collapse based on our unsustainable national debt.

Palin wrote on her Facebook page: "Put a fork in us. We're finished. We're going to default eventually and that's why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest."

And let's not forget that the Department of Homeland Security has been purchasing tank-like Mine-Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAPs) retrofitted to operate on American streets.

Navistar Defense, the company that builds MRAP vehicles, describes these heavily armored vehicles as able to "withstand ballistic arms fire, mine blasts, IEDs, and other emerging threats."

What on earth is the DHS expecting? They are literally preparing for war.

Congress must prevent the Executive Branch from expanding its personal military - one that is literally capable of waging war on Americans - and defund these out-of-control, unconstitutional DHS purchases and programs!

Fax Congress and Demand that they DEFUND and DISMANTLE Obama's police state! Lawmakers must kill appropriations for all unconstitutional purchases, programs, and executive orders that would deprive Americans of their liberty!

Police State or the Land of the Free?

The United States as "the land of the free" is swiftly becoming fiction and Obama's "fundamentally transformed America" is becoming reality.

While it is true that all branches of government have encroached upon our God-given freedoms - the Congress and the Courts both playing a part - America's overgrown Executive is chiefly to blame.  
That's right; the Constitution and the Rule of Law have been flipped on their head by Barack Obama and his Administration through executive orders, memoranda, and other "emergency" actions.

In 2013 alone we have seen Obama's full-blown attack on the People's Second Amendment, essentially re-writing it to read "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed ... unless one works for the government."

In Obama's "fundamentally transformed America," Americans themselves are targeted by the police and the military.  



How much longer will Congress - a separate, but equal power - allow the Constitution and the Rule of Law be trampled by Obama and his hired men?   
Barack Obama has been and is the most dangerous, reckless president in our entire nation's history and it is time that upright members of Congress stop him!

The House and the Senate must take action against Obama's dictatorship by fully defunding and dismantling his police state programs!
