A List of Islamic Terror Attacks Planned and/or Accomplished in the US that Hussein Obama has Covered Up

Yesterday, I reported on the fact that Obama clearly tied himself to the Muslims, thus identifying himself openly to be a Muslim, at the close of the G20 Summit. According to him, his confession was so that "we (Muslims) make sure children are not being infected with this twisted notion that somehow they can kill innocent people and that somehow that is justified." Yet, isn't his inability to refer to Islamic jihad attacks as "Islamic" looking to do just that? Isn't his unwillingness to refer to Islamists who murder others as Islamists justifying their actions according to Islam? 

Well, Leo Hohmann at WND has put together a pretty large list of such attacks that occurred on US soil and yet, we don't hear a peep out of this administration. Here's the list he formed:

• An immigrant from Muslim-dominated Bangladesh, who applied for and received U.S. citizenship,‎ tried to incite people to travel to Somalia and conduct violent jihad against the United States. He was arrested in Texas in 2014. 
• In July 2015, a Cuban immigrant inspired by Islamic extremists plotted to explode a backpack bomb filled with nails on a beach in Key West.
• An immigrant from Ghana, who applied for and received U.S. citizenship, pledged allegiance to ISIS and plotted a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. He attacked an FBI agent with a large kitchen knife when the agent was searching his home in June in Staten Island, New York. The search was connected to an investigation stemming from the weekend arrest of Munther Omar Saleh, a 20-year-old U.S. citizen charged with conspiring to provide material support to ISIS, CNN reported.
• An immigrant from Sudan living in northern Virginia, who applied for and received U.S. citizenship, tried to join ISIS and wage jihad on its behalf after having been recruited online. He pleaded guilty in federal court in June 2015 to providing material support to ISIS and his friend, according to court records, is now a member of the Islamic State fighting force in Syria.
• A Muslim refugee couple from Bosnia, along with their five relatives living in Missouri, Illinois and New York, were charged in February 2015 with sending money, supplies and smuggled arms to ISIS and other terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq. 


A Muslim immigrant from Yemen, who applied for and received U.S. citizenship, along with six other men living in Minnesota as members of refugee families, were charged in April 2015 with conspiracy to travel to Syria and to provide material support to ISIS.
A Somali refugee with lawful permanent resident status, along with four other Somali nationals, were charged July 23, 2014, with leading an al-Shabaab terrorist fundraising conspiracy in the United States, with monthly payments directed to the Somali terrorist organization.
A Kazakhstani immigrant with lawful permanent resident status conspired to purchase a machine gun to shoot FBI and other law enforcement agents if they prevented him from traveling to Syria to join ISIS. He and two others from Uzbekistan, both living in Brooklyn, were charged in February 2015 with providing material support a foreign terrorist organization. 


Two female immigrants, one from Saudi Arabia and one from Yemen, one of whom applied for and received U.S. citizenship, allegedly swore allegiance to ISIS and pledged to explode a propane tank bomb on U.S. soil. They were arrested in April 2015 during an FBI undercover raid on their house in Queens, New York.
A Uzbek man in Brooklyn allegedly encouraged other Uzbek nationals to wage jihad on behalf of ISIS, and raised $1,600 for the terror organization. The arrests were announced in February and April 2015.
The Boston Bombers were invited in as asylum seekers. The younger brother applied for citizenship and was naturalized on Sept. 11, 2012. The older brother had a pending application for citizenship.
A Moroccan Muslim who came to the U.S. on a student visa was arrested and charged in April 2014 with plotting to blow up a university and a federal courthouse. 


Six members of Minnesota's Somali-American refugee community have recently been charged with trying to join ISIS. The Washington Times reported that "the effort [to resettle large groups of Somali refugees in Minnesota] is having the unintended consequence of creating an enclave of immigrants with high unemployment that is both stressing the state's safety net and creating a rich pool of potential recruiting targets for Islamist terror groups."
An Uzbek refugee living in Boise, Idaho, was arrested in 2013 and charged with providing support to a terrorist organization, in the form of teaching terror recruits how to build bombs to blow up U.S. military installations. He was convicted in August 2015.
A teenage American citizen living in York, South Carolina, whose family emigrated from Syria, was sentenced in April 2015 for plotting to support ISIS and rob a gun store to kill members of the American military. 
A Muslim immigrant from Syria living in Ohio, who later applied for and received U.S. citizenship, was accused by federal prosecutors of planning to "go to a military base in Texas and kill three or four American soldiers execution style."
A college student, who came to America as a refugee from Somalia and later applied for and received U.S. citizenship, attempted to blow up a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Oregon. He was sentenced in October 2014 to 30 years in prison.
An immigrant from Afghanistan, who later applied for and received U.S. citizenship, and a legal permanent resident from the Philippines, were convicted Sept. 25, 2014, for trying to "join Al Qaeda and the Taliban in order to kill Americans."
An Iraqi immigrant, who later applied for and received U.S. citizenship, was arrested in May 2015 for lying to federal agents about pledging allegiance to ISIS and his travels to Syria. 


Two Pakistani-American brothers living in New York, who later applied for and received U.S citizenship, were sentenced in June 2015 to decades-long prison sentences for plotting to detonate a bomb in New York City.
An immigrant from Muslim-dominated Yemen, who later applied for and received U.S. citizenship, was arrested in September 2014 in Rochester, New York, for allegedly trying to join ISIS. He was also charged with attempting to illegally buy firearms to try to shoot American military personnel.
An immigrant brought here by his family from Kuwait at age 6, and who was later approved for U.S. citizenship, carried out the jihadist attack that recently killed four U.S. Marines and a sailor in Chattanooga on July 16, 2015, using an AK-47 semi-automatic weapon against unarmed military men. 
The point of making these attacks known comes in light of the fact that the House has passed a bill that would slow down the influx of Syrian refugees into the US despite Obama's threat of a veto. 

 

ISIS planning Sunday terror attacks in U.S., worldwide: Anonymous group

Hacking collective Anonymous said the Islamic State terrorist group is planning to launch more attacks in Paris, the U.S., Indonesia, Italy and Lebanon on Sunday.
OpParisIntel, the Anonymous campaign against the Islamic State online, released a statement Saturday saying it had uncovered information regarding new terror plots “on Paris and the world” scheduled for Sunday Nov. 22.

The group also warned the Islamic State may be planning an attack at the WWE Survivor Series event set to take place in the Philips Area in Atlanta on Sunday night.  

In a statement Saturday, the FBI said it was aware of the alleged threat and was taking the matter seriously.
“We have … made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law-enforcement and private-sector partners to keep our community safe,” the FBI said.
The group said it submitted the information to official authorities around the world days ago in its statement, first reported by the International Business Times.

“They have it and it is their responsibility to do something with it. But because they have not done anything with it yet and it’s almost the 22nd, we have taken matters into our own hands,” the group said.
“We only take the responsibility of warning civilians (in case the authorities do not act well enough),” the statement said.
Anonymous warned against attending events with large crowds, especially church services, but said “the risk of any churches outside Paris/France being targeted is low.”
The group published a list of potential targets, including:

When you tell people that our society glorifies sex and power, they look at you like you have a head growing out of your neck. They look this way because they like what they watch on television. They like going to the movies. They love their music. These things cannot be bad, can they?
I do not want you to think that I am anti any of these things. I watch T.V., go to movies, and listen to music. I am also not one that thinks that these things are ultimately responsible for our actions or the actions of others. We sin because we like it, and we like it because we are sinful. But, there is something to be said about our media and violence.

When we look at the fact that our entertainment has become increasingly more violent over the last several decades, we fail to ask what the effects have been. We do not possibly because we do not like the answer. We as a society have grown more violent with the growth in pretend violence in our culture. This is not to even mention our sexual promiscuity.
Couple our propensity for sex and violence with our diminished respect for women and we have a fearful state of mind in young men. And this has manifested itself in North Carolina.

Officers said they found the victim naked in a field next to an apartment complex on Stoney Trace Drive, off Margaret Wallace Road, Thursday afternoon.
Police said they found a female wearing no clothes lying in the grass near the building and that it appeared she was the victim of a violent sexual assault.

These children having spent the day drinking and partying together decided that this girl would be their new source of entertainment. They saw her as a thing to be used and not as a human being. And they definitely did not see her as someone made in the image of God. We know this by the charges filed against the three charged as adults.

Jhovany Roman, 17, and Felix Reyes, 16, and the two juveniles, who police said are both 15 years old, were charged with one count of first-degree rape, one count of first-degree sex offense, one count of assault by strangulation inflicting physical injury and three counts felony conspiracy.

This young lady was left as a piece of trash. She was assaulted, sexually abused, and strangled. Once the boys were finished with her, they left her as she was; naked and unconscious. It is unclear, but it seems that they had no fear of her telling the police who they were. This may be because they had left her for dead.

A member of Jhovany Roman’s family said all the teens were truant from school on Thursday and were having a party in the apartment complex. A witness also said that there was video taken of the rape.

You see, to these young men, this was a game. Their sexual assault was something to relive and share with their friends. Now, this does not mean that their choice of entertainment was the source of their evil actions. No, their wicked hearts was the source. But what their choice of entertainment has done is promote and justify these desires in their minds.
When we allow our children to watch shows and movies, and listen to music that glorifies thugs, rape, and murder, then we encourage them to be thugs. When we stop telling young boys to treat girls and women different, then they begin to see them simply as objects to fulfill their needs. Not much different than a source of food.
If we do not wake up to the fact that we are raising a generation of vicious men, then we will begin to see a real rape culture develop. And no one will be left who cares to stop the madness.

Do You Live In The Radical Mosque Zone?

French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve called for the “dissolution” of radical mosques following last week’s terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 130 people. Belgium’s Prime Minister, Charles Michel threatened similar action in his country where the attacks were staged.
Neither President Obama nor other officials in his administration, however, have spoken of shutting down radical mosques in the U.S. But U.S. reticence about taking actions now being implemented by France and Belgium isn’t for a lack of mosques in this country in which hatred for American values and support for jihad terrorism are regularly heard

There are more than 80 radical mosques are in the U.S., according to the Clarion Project, a non-profit group that describes itself as “dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamist extremism.”
Using Clarion’s definitions, The Daily Caller News Foundation has mapped these radical mosques in an effort to aid readers seeking to understand the extent of radical Islamic voices in this country.

These mosques or their leading clerics have radicalized attendees to become terrorists, supported terrorist organizations, made radical Islamist remarks or hosted others that have, or are financially backed by radical individuals or organizations.

“Islamist extremists have developed a sophisticated network of interconnected organizations across American,” according to Clarion. “The common thread among these organizations is their ideology of political Islam, which aspires to implement sharia governance and to establish a global Islamic caliphate.”
The FBI declined to tell TheDCNF if the nation’s top law enforcement agency has a similar list.
The map includes 83 – or nearly 4 percent – of the 2,106 mosques in the United States as of 2010.

Mosques from Clarion Project’s list were excluded if TheDCNF could not verify their addresses. These include Islamist communes like Islamberg in New York.
Several mosques on the Clarion Project’s list stand out.

• Dar al-Hijrah, located just outside Washington in Falls Chruch, Virginia, for example, was the place of worship for two of the 9/11 hijakers. This mosque’s present Imam, Shaker Elsayed, described Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna’s teachings as “the closest reflection of how Islam should be in this life.” The Brotherhood “seeks to implement Sharia-based governance globally,” according to the Clarion Project.

• Multiple terrorists have come from the Islamic Society of Boston, including the Boston Bombers and al-Qaeda terrorists Aafia Siddiqui, Tarek Mehanna and Ahmad Abousamra.

• The Islamic Center of Tucson was “basically the first cell of al-Qaeda in the United States,” terrorism expert Rita Katz told The Washington Post in 2002. “At least a dozen terror-linked individuals have been tied to the” center, according to the Clarion Project.

Nevada Girl Makes School Pay After They Denied Her Pro-Life Club

A Nevada girl who fought a long legal battle with her school over a pro-life club didn’t just get her club approved, she got her school to pay for it.
The Thomas More Society, the religious liberty legal group representing junior Angelique Clark, announced Friday they would drop their lawsuit against Clark County School District in Las Vegas and that the school has agreed to pay $30,000 in attorney fees. The school agreed in September to allow the pro-life club after legal pressure.
“We’re pleased that District officials worked so diligently with us to protect the First Amendment rights of Angelique, her pro-life club, and all their students,” Jocelyn Floyd, Associate Counsel of Thomas More Society, said in a statement.  “This settlement is a victory not only for Angelique and her pro-life club, but for all students who wish to speak out or form clubs to address issues that they’re facing.”

Clark, a student at West Career and Technical Academy, applied in December of 2014 to start a pro-life club at her school but was told by the administration the club was too “controversial” and that other people were more qualified to speak on the topic.
Clark told The Daily Caller News Foundation in August that the ban on her club was unfair because the school already had a gay-straight alliance club, chess club, Bible club, anime club, and others but wouldn’t allow her pro-life club even though she had dozens of students ready to join.

Clark teamed up with the Thomas More Society and sued her school. Floyd said she was glad the school conceded because “there have been times when school districts will dig their heels in whether they have a strong case or not.”
“I am so excited that I will finally be able to start a pro-life club at my high school,” Clark said in a statement after her club was approved. “I started with the idea to provide a safe place to educate my fellow students on the beauty of life at all stages, and I am very thankful to Students for Life of America and the Thomas More Society for helping me defend my rights so that students at my school can now gather for life.  I look forward to running the WCTA pro-life club with all the other students who have already signed up to be a voice for the voiceless and ignored—the preborn and the mothers who think abortion is their only choice.”

Former Interpol Leader Says Best Strategy For Terrorism Is ‘Armed Citizenry’

In the wake of the attack on Paris and the attempted attack in Germany we thought we’d remind you of what Former Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble said back in 2013 (in the immediate aftermath of the Westgate Mall shooting in Nairobi, Kenya) about what is likely the best answer for responding to Muslim terrorism against “soft” (or civilian) targets.

In an interview with ABC News, Noble said there are really only two choices for protecting open societies from attacks like the one on Westgate mall where so-called “soft targets” are hit: either create secure perimeters around the locations or allow civilians to carry their own guns to protect themselves.
“Societies have to think about how they’re going to approach the problem. One is to say we want an armed citizenry; you can see the reason for that. Another is to say the enclaves are so secure that in order to get into the soft target you’re going to have to pass through extraordinary security.

Federal Agents Make Massive Discovery at Southern Border… ISIS Is Here

Eight Syrian nationals attempted to illegally enter the United States from Mexico on Monday, raising new concerns about security inside the United States in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
Breitbart cited two unnamed federal agents who said the Syrians were intercepted at the Juarez Lincoln Bridge in Laredo, Texas. While Border Patrol has yet to confirm this report, National Border Patrol Council Local 2455 President Hector Garza did confirm that he was also receiving similar reports from multiple agents

“Border Patrol agents who we represent have been contacting our organization to voice concerns about reports from other agents that Syrians crossed the U.S. border from Mexico in the Laredo Sector,” he said. “Our agents have heard about Syrians being apprehended in the area from other federal agents. At this time, I cannot confirm or deny that Syrians have crossed, for security reasons.”
This news came only a day after a report by the U.K. Daily Mail revealed that, within the past 18 months, a number of refugees have been charged with Islamic State group-related terror plots on American soil.
Also, at least one and possibly more of the killers in the Paris attacks had entered France posing as Syrian refugees. 

Furthermore, the Conservative Tribune reported Wednesday on a poll that revealed that 13 percent of the 4.28 million displaced Syrian refugees held a favorable view of the terror group, and roughly a third of those had a “very favorable” view of it.
That means over 500,000 Syrian refugees have some sort of sympathy for the same terror group responsible for the series of attacks in Paris that left 129-plus innocent people dead last week.
Yet President Barack Obama and every other liberal ditz in America wants to bring more of them here because “compassion” means more to them than national security, apparently. Or at least that’s what they want us to believe.

BOOM: Utah Authorities Hit Harry Reid With MASSIVE Bad News… Justice Is Finally Coming

On Wednesday, Utah prosecutor Trey Rawlings confirmed in a statement that he has been investigating the role Senate Minority Leader and Nevada Democrat Harry Reid played in an alleged pay-to-play scheme involving two former Utah attorney generals.
Reid reportedly fired back by accusing Rawlings of trying “to generate attention to himself and advance his political career,” but the prosecutor was not deterred.

“I have no political career,” Rawlings responded via The Washington Times. “This is not a PR game.”
According to the Associated Press, the year-long investigation revolved around former Utah Attorney Generals John Shurtleff and John Swallow, both of whom allegedly traded favors with business owners who were in trouble with state and federal regulators.
The concern was that Reid may have played a role in these transactions, though to what extent remained unknown.

“To simply ignore and run from what has been presented by multiple witnesses and sources … would mean I am either intentionally blind, or overly worried,” Rawlings wrote in his statement.
The investigation into Reid reportedly began a year ago but was initially blocked by President Barack Hussein Obama’s Justice Department.
Rawlings wasn’t deterred then, either.
“It is not up to the DOJ to tell me who can and who cannot be investigated and what evidence is relevant and material to a state case,” he explained.
It sounds like prosecutor Trey Rawlings is a very serious man who means business — and who will not allow cronies of any kind to interfere with what appears to be a legitimate investigation.

Whether or not this investigation will eventually lead to an indictment of Reid remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: This corrupt senator must be shaking in his dingy boots right now.

Yes, Obama Did Just Admit He Is A Muslim!

Let's be honest here, for many of us, we have no problem at all believing that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim at heart, despite his claim to be a Christian. As far as I can tell from his 2004 interview, he doesn't have a clue about Christian doctrine. At the closing of the G20 Summit, Obama identified himself as part of the Muslim community, and it seems that the news reporters listening didn't even pick up on it!

"I think on the one hand non-Muslims cannot stereotype," he said. "But I also think that the Muslim community has to think about how we make sure children are not being infected with this twisted notion that somehow they can kill innocent people and that somehow that is justified."

He included himself in the "we" expressed here while referencing Muslims versus non-Muslims. Hussein Obama did warn people early on.
Obama was raised as a Muslim. We know this from his early school records. We also know that as an adult, he has dressed in Muslim garb and participated in Muslim rituals.
He slipped up in 2008 during an interview and declared his Muslim faith and had to be corrected by the interviewer George Stephanopoulos.

Frankly, I believe he is a mixture of ideologies that include Islam and Marxism. His allegiances are mixed, but they all tie back to totalitarian mindsets. Yes, America, you aren't waiting on a Muslim President; you've had one for seven years.
Finally, those allegiances were made known on page 261 of his book The Audacity of Hope:

In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. Flo is the airhead character seen in Progressive Insurance commercials.

The commercials not only pitch the company’s insurance products, but also sell an anti-family, far-left world view. Specifically, Flo was recently featured ridiculing the 1950’s housewife.

Flo’s misogynistic attack on generations of women who provided the infrastructure for our culture may seem inexcusable to rational people.

The predatory left, however, is not rational. The far-left prefers big-government globalism. 

• Why does globalism hate traditional families?

There are at least four reasons.

First, family members tend to be loyal to each other before they will be loyal to governments. That arrangement cannot be tolerated by totalitarianism.

Consequently, big-government globalism will attempt to destroy its primary enemy, the traditional family. Progressive’s ridicule of the traditional homemaker is part of the attack.

Second, the traditional family has proven to be the most effective and efficient social construct in existence.

Traditional families in which the father-husband is primary provider and the mother-wife is the primary homemaker render big government moot.

When the father-husband provides for his family, there is no need for government assistance such as food stamps, Section-8 housing, Obama phones, student loans, etc.

Third, the father who effectively and affectionately disciplines his children will render the juvenile justice system practically pointless. Compassionate fathers who “police” their children are creating tomorrow’s productive citizens. That will greatly decrease the nation’s burgeoning prison population and leave government police officers with little to do beyond directing traffic.

When the mother-wife cares for her household and educates her children, government intrusion into family life is rarely needed.

Fourth, traditional families prohibit the government from indoctrinating children with cult-like concepts of globalism and Marxism.

The traditional family is, therefore, the anti-thesis of big-government globalism.

No wonder Flo and the pseudo-feminist movement are adamant in ridiculing the traditional housewife.

• While pseudo-feminism attacks traditional Western family values, it embraces traditional Islamic family values in which women are nothing more than slaves and consigned to roles of submission that are anathema to Western culture. Pseudo-feminism and Islam may seem to be philosophically divergent. In reality they maintain a common objective: To undermine Western culture.

Viz:

While pseudo-feminists pretend to care about “women’s issues,” they almost never object to women being raped by Muslim males.

While pseudo-feminists ramble endlessly about white-male dominance, they seldom speak out against Islamic abasement of women. 



While pseudo-feminists claim to be oppressed when taxpayers decline to provide free contraception, they are almost never heard complaining about Islam’s prohibition on prophylactics.

While pseudo-feminists aggressively attack “the 1950’s  housewife” with venom that can only be described as abject misogyny, they rarely can be heard complaining about arranged marriages — often involving child brides — and the brutal conditions suffered by Islamic slave-wives.

We patiently await an upcoming Progressive Insurance commercial that features Flo in a burqa pitching the values of women being possessed and dominated by Islamic males.

After all; who needs insurance more than terrorists?

8 Syrians Caught At Texas Border

If this wasn’t so serious it would be laughable. How many times do we have to say told you so? Obama is quickly becoming the Baghdad Bob of American politics.

UPDATE: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has confirmed that eight Syrians were taken into custody at the Laredo port of entry. 
Two federal agents operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are claiming that eight Syrian illegal aliens attempted to enter Texas from Mexico in the Laredo Sector. The federal agents spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity, however, a local president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) confirmed that Laredo Border Patrol agents have been officially contacting the organization with concerns over reports from other federal agents about Syrians illegally entering the country in the Laredo Sector. The reports have caused a stir among the sector’s Border Patrol agents.

The sources claimed that eight Syrians were apprehended on Monday, November 16, 2015. According to the sources, the Syrians were in two separate “family units” and were apprehended at the Juarez Lincoln Bridge in Laredo, Texas, also known officially as Port of Entry 1.
Border Patrol agent and NBPC Local 2455 President Hector Garza told Breitbart Texas, “Border Patrol agents who we represent have been contacting our organization to voice concerns about reports from other agents that Syrians crossed the U.S. border from Mexico in the Laredo Sector. Our agents have heard about Syrians being apprehended in the area from other federal agents.” Agent Garza added, “At this time, I cannot confirm or deny that Syrians have crossed, for security reasons.”

Agent Garza further stated that in matters as sensitive as Syrians crossing the border from Mexico, it would be highly unlikely that federal agencies would publicize it or inform a broad group of law enforcement. He did say that Local 2455 is taking the reports seriously and that they “will be issuing an officer safety bulletin advising Border Patrol agents to exercise extra precautions as they patrol the border.”
Breitbart Texas can confirm that a Syrian did attempt to enter the U.S. illegally through Texas in late September. The Syrian was caught using a passport that belonged to someone else and U.S. authorities decided against prosecuting anyone involved due to “circumstances.”

In what appears to be a first for a serious presidential contender, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is going crazy over the comic routines first posted on November 9th. 


As reported by Judicial Watch, not only has the Clinton campaign tried to censor the video but they are trying to intimidate the comics by demanding the  Laugh Factory  turn over the personal contact information of the five comic performing in the video.

This is no laughing matter for club owner Jamie Masada, a comedy guru who opened Laugh Factory more than three decades ago and has been instrumental in launching the careers of many famous comics. “They threatened me,” Masada told Judicial Watch. “I have received complains before but never a call like this, threatening to put me out of business if I don’t cut the video.”

In one press conference after another, when referring to the Muslim terror super-group ISIS, United States President Barack Obama will use the term ISIL instead of their former name ISIS or current name Islamic State. Have you ever wondered about that? We have. 


ISIL stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant. Now, to us Westerners we don’t really make much of a distinction, do we? No, honestly from our perspective its all about the same. But how would a Muslim living in the Middle East view it? Just what is the Levant anyway? Let’s take a look.
The geographical term LEVANT refers to a multi-nation region in the Middle East. It’s a land bridge between Turkey to the north and Egypt to the south. If you look on a map, however, in the near exact middle of the nations that comprise the Levant, guess what you see? Come on, guess! 


It’s Israel.

Our President Doesn’t Know That a “Religious Test” for Refugees Seeking Asylum Is Required by Federal Law

As you know, I’m a history buff.  I think there are a lot of lessons in history, and I want to share some history with you now.  I’ve spoken frequently in recent months about how immigration to the United States was more than curtailed.  It was suspended in the early 1920s.  From 1924 to 1965 we didn’t have any immigration.  You’d be amazed still at the number of people who are hearing that for the first time and don’t know it.  That simply is not part of the American education curriculum, especially now.  I know I didn’t learn that in school, at any level of school.  



But it is particularly relevant today because the left and Obama and the United Nations are all accusing the United States of these horrific acts of bigotry and inhumane treatment and behavior of people and so forth. And they want to try to create this impression that we are reaching new depths, that the United States is sinking to new lows, and it’s a terrible shame what’s happened because of the right wing bigotry and the closed-mindedness and all of that that exists in this country. 
So I think it would be very useful and helpful here just to review a little history to let you know that what we propose today and what many Americans support today is actually traditionally American.  It is not new.  It is not unprecedented.  It is historical.  No immigration, 1924 to 1965.  The reason was that we had seen a flood of immigrants to the country and we had to assimilate them. We took time to assimilate those who had come to America. They wanted to be Americans.  They wanted to assimilate.  They did not want to establish Balkanized beachheads of their countries.  They did not forget their native cultures.  They held on to them and they lived in neighborhoods, but they wanted to be Americans.  They knew what being an American meant, compared to where they lived and where they were from.  They wanted everything about America that they could get and they wanted to work hard for it.  You know the drill.   


But there was another reason why immigration was curtailed in the early 1920s.  And would you be surprised to learn that that reason was terrorist attacks?  There were acts of terror committed in the United States, mostly from groups, the so-called anarchist groups.  They were really mostly communists.  But, for instance, September 6th, 1901, President William McKinley was assassinated by an anarchist in Buffalo, New York.  And in the early 1900s there were a number of bombings and bombing attempts committed by these anarchists, the majority of whom were from southern and central and eastern Europe.  They were part of this massive immigration that took place in the country, the late 1800s into the early 1900s.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) responded to President Barack Obama a day after he took a not-so-subtle swipe at the Republican presidential hopeful for wanting to shut America's doors to Syria's refugees.

Speaking in Turkey and again in the Phillipines earlier this week, Obama chided Republicans for wanting to allow only Christian Syrians, rather than Muslims ones, into the U.S.
"At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates. Now they are scared of three-year-old orphans," the president said. "That doesn't seem so tough to me."
Cruz addressed the president's remarks after an event on Capitol Hill, taking issue with what he called "cheap insults" made on foreign soil.
"If you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries, but come back and insult me to my face," Cruz said to NBC News. "Let's have a debate on Syrian refugees right now. We can do it anywhere you want....It's easy to toss a cheap insult where no one can respond."

U.S. ‘discriminates’ against Christian refugees, accepts 96% Muslims, 3% Christians

Less than 3 percent of the Syrian refugees admitted to the United States so far are Christian and 96 percent are Muslim, the result of a referral system that Republican Sen. Tom Cotton says “unintentionally discriminates” against Christians.
State Department figures released Monday showed that the current system overwhelmingly favors Muslim refugees. Of the 2,184 Syrian refugees admitted to the United States so far, only 53 are Christians while 2,098 are Muslim, the Christian News Service reported.

Mr. Cotton and Sen. John Boozman, both Arkansas Republicans, called Monday for a moratorium on resettlements, a White House report on vetting procedures, and a re-evaluation of the refugee-referral process.
“[T]he United States’ reliance on the United Nations for referrals of Syrian refugees should also be re-evaluated,” said Mr. Cotton in a statement. “That reliance unintentionally discriminates against Syrian Christians and other religious minorities who are reluctant to register as refugees with the United Nations for fear of political and sectarian retribution.”
The current system relies on referrals from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Syria’s population in 2011 was 90 percent Muslim and 10 percent Christian, CNS said.

At a news conference Monday in Turkey, President Obama described as “shameful” the idea of giving religious preferences to refugees, apparently referring to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s suggestion that the United States should accept Christian refugees while Muslim refugees are sent to majority-Muslim countries.
“That’s not American. That’s not who we are. We don’t have religious tests to our compassion,” Mr. Obama said.

Figures from the State Department Refugee Processing Center updated Monday showed that 96 percent of the Syrian refugees accepted so far are Muslim, while less than 3 percent are Christian. The other 33 identified as belonging to smaller religious faiths or said they had no religion.
Ben Rhodes, Obama deputy national security adviser, said Sunday that the White House still plans to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees despite last week’s deadly terrorist attack on Paris. Republicans have countered that it’s all but impossible to conduct background checks on those seeking refuge.

Mr. Cotton and Mr. Boozman called Monday for a temporary moratorium on resettlements and “a requirement that the President certify the integrity of the security vetting process as a condition of lifting the moratorium.”
“The American people have long demonstrated unmatched compassion for the world’s persecuted and endangered. But when bringing refugees to our shores, the U.S. government must put the security of Arkansans and all Americans first,” Mr. Cotton said. “No terrorist should be able to take advantage of the refugee process to threaten the United States.”
