The Thrill is Gone: Chris Matthews Craps on Obama

oped: ROFL...I guess old Chris finally got the memo..."Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining"

President Obama ”obviously likes giving speeches more than he does running the executive branch,” Chris Matthews said tonight.
Yes, you read that right: The MSNBC host who in 2008 felt a “thrill going up my leg” after hearing Obama speak has grown disenchanted. Tonight’s episode of Hardball saw Matthews delivering a rare, unforgiving grilling of the president as severe as anything that might appear on Fox News.
“What part of the presidency does Obama like? He doesn’t like dealing with other politicians — that means his own cabinet, that means members of the congress, either party. He doesn’t particularly like the press…. He likes to write the speeches, likes to rewrite what Favreau and the others wrote for the first draft,” Matthews said.
“So what part does he like? He likes going on the road, campaigning, visiting businesses like he does every couple days somewhere in Ohio or somewhere,” Matthews continued. “But what part does he like? He doesn’t like lobbying for the bills he cares about. He doesn’t like selling to the press. He doesn’t like giving orders or giving somebody the power to give orders. He doesn’t seem to like being an executive.”

Soldiers' portraits before, during and after war

Photographer Lalage Snow's powerful series of triptychs titled We Are The Not Dead depict the faces of British servicemen before, during and after (left to right) their deployment to Afghanistan, spanning a period of seven months. The images are as striking as they are revealing, highlighting not only the physical transformations but the emotional ones, as well.

Lalage Snow is a photographer, journalist and filmmaker currently based in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Private Chris MacGregor, 24: "My legs just gave up. I think it was the weight – 135 pounds or something. I just had to accept, my body was telling me to give up as I had pushed it. I was telling it to go, it was telling me to stop. When squaddies come back they still have a lot of adrenaline and anger in them. I had to have anger management after Iraq...The first thing I did when I came back, apart from kissing and cuddling the misses and my bairn, was go for a massive walk with the dogs. I walked for miles and miles not caring where I stepped."

'Smart Rifle' Begins Shipping to Gun Owners This Week

'Smart Rifle' Begins Shipping to Gun Owners This Week (ABC News)

A Texas startup has developed a "smart rifle"that barely needs to be aimed.
The maker of the gun, being shipped to stores this week, brags that "even a novice shooter can become an elite long-range marksman in minutes."
The company, TrackingPoint, has said its "world's first" long range Precision Guided Firearms (PGF) integrate precision hardware, digital optics, and tracking technology to deliver an unmatched shooting experience. The line of rifles starts at about $22,500 and each comes packaged with an iPad mini including the interactive TrackingPoint mobile app.
"We're taking centuries old tech, firearms and ammunition, and introducing 21st century technology to it," TrackingPoint CEO Jason Schauble told ABC News.

The PGF line of rifles come equipped with what the company is calling the XactSystem, which uses a network tracking scope with digital display interface, laser tagging to "paint" a moving target, and a guided trigger that only lets the shooter fire when there is a high percentage shot.
The weapon is being introduced at a time when the debate over gun control has raised tempers on both sides of the argument.
Schauble said safety is paramount, just like with any other gun or rifle. "It is a firearm. It is controlled by federal law," he said.
He said a password can be set on the gun's scope software. This doesn't render the rifle useless, but it does lock any unauthorized users out of the precision technology.
Elliot Fineman, chief executive officer of National Gun Victims Action Council, said the "smart gun" is a "mixed proposition."
"I'm very much in favor of the password protection, but [if the user opts not to utilize password protection] this product gives shooters a better accuracy than, on average, most cops," Fineman said. He said the target accuracy of most police is three out of ten.
"To think that private citizens that are not trained could shoot better than 3 out of 10, it's scary," Fineman said.

David Chipman, a spokesman for Mayors Against Illegal Guns which lobbies for an expansion of background checks for people buying guns, said the PGF "is not your grandfather's hunting rifle used for sport and recreation this is a weapon designed to kill with precision."
"This technology potentially enables any two bit criminal to operate with the skills of a highly trained sniper," Chipman said.
Josh Horwitz, executive director of the Education Fund to Stop Gun Violence, dismissed the significance of locking the software.
"This is an industry hell bent on making weapons more lethal and taking no measures to extend safety," Horwitz said. "If this type of technology is transferred into semi automatic and automatic weapons, it would make it even more lethal."
The way the gun operates sounds like a video game. The visual scope on the PGF connects via WiFi the iOS app on an iPhone or iPad by way of ShotView. The feature shows a live video of the digital Heads Up Display (HUD) and video can also be recorded and shared online. Schauble said an Android app is on the way.
TrackingPoint is in the process of developing a dedicated, online community for TrackingPoint users to share videos and information with each other.

"There's a young, digital generation that will want to hunt and shoot, so we're not only developing a product for people that shoot today, but also the new digital generation," said Schauble.
He said the live streaming ShotView feature can be used to help instruct new shooters on the fly or to capture an impressive shooting range or hunting shot to show to others later.
"We've been surprised at how many older shooters and hunters embrace the product, too. This kind of tech helps them to still hunt for years or even take shots that may not be possible with traditional hardware," he said.
The PGF rifles, TrackingPoint's first product line, was introduced at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in January, but this week the company began fulfilling preorder requests with the first units shipping.

With this first run of PGF rifles, the CEO said TrackingPoint is selling directly to customers.
Schauble said his company has signed a contract to provide technology to some less expensive, short range Remington firearms, and those products will be distributed through vendors, but the distribution of other runs of TrackingPoint product will be decided on a case by case basis.
But with TrackingPoint's Precision Guided Firearms, Schauble said the main objectives are "trying to make existing, long-range shooters more capable."
"Right now, we're the most advanced tech company in outdoor shooting sports."

Parents urged to boycott 'sexual predator' day

by: Drew Zahn

California parents are being urged to keep their children home from school on May 22, the state’s official day for conducting “exercises” to honor the notorious homosexual activist and reported pedophile Harvey Milk.
In 2009, then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law a day for schools to commemorate the San Francisco activist, who was California’s first openly homosexual man to be elected to public office. Earlier that year, President Obama posthumously awarded Milk the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
But SaveCalifornia.com, a non-profit pro-family organization founded by Randy Thomasson, warns Milk is no “role model” for schoolchildren.
Citing a biography of Milk by homosexual San Francisco Chronicle writer Randy Shilts, which served as the basis of an Oscar-winning film about the activist, SaveCalifornia.com points out Milk “repeatedly engaged in adult-child sex [and] advocated for multiple homosexual relationships at the same time.”

In fact, the book describes Milk’s romantic relationship with 16-year-old Jack Galen McKinley (when Milk was 33) and explains the activist “always had a penchant for young waifs with substance abuse problems.”
SaveCalifornia.com, consequently, is urging fathers and mothers to demand that teachers, principals and school board members refuse to honor Milk or else they’ll keep their children home that day or exit the government schools entirely.
“Parents who hear about ‘Harvey Milk Gay Day’ are disgusted that this teen predator and sexual anarchist is now the new role model for their children, and schools aren’t even notifying them that this happening,” Thomasson said in a statement. “Parents must keep their children home from public school on May 22 to guard their kids from the bad influence of ‘Milk Day.’”
SaveCalifornia.com is also running radio ads (which can be heard below) in Los Angeles and Sacramento, featuring a real mom urging parents to keep their children home on or around May 22.
“When I learned about [Milk's] agenda against children’s innocence,” the mother in the ad states, “I became angry at what ‘Milk Day’ would teach kids behind their parents’ backs. … They’ll be taught an agenda that attacks our family values.

“Moms, Dads, please protect your children from Harvey Milk indoctrination,” she concludes. “Keep them home Wednesday, May 22.”
Yet SaveCalifornia.com warns “Harvey Milk Day” is only one example of how “progressive” politicians are advancing a sexual agenda in California schools.
Among other Democrat-led initiatives was the recent strategy that requires schools to let boys play on girls’ athletic teams and utilize the ladies’ locker room if they gender identify as girls – or vice-versa for girls identifying as boys.
The bill’s author, openly homosexual San Francisco Democrat Tom Ammiano, has been an activist for lesbian, “gay,” bisexual and transgender, or LGBT, issues for decades and reportedly became in 1975 the first San Francisco public school teacher to make his homosexuality public. Ammiano later co-founded an LGBT organization with Milk.
Ammiano told the Los Angeles Times some parents may be uncomfortable with their children sharing bathrooms with students of a different sex, but he said, “It’s also important to protect our children from prejudice.”

By a vote of 46-25, carried without any affirmative votes from Republican lawmakers, the California Assembly passed the bill, AB 1266, which amends Section 221.5 of the state’s Education Code as follows: “A pupil shall be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, and use facilities consistent with his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil’s records.”
The bill would affect not only interscholastic sports, but also sex-segregated physical education classes.
As WND reported earlier, the Pacific Justice Institute launched a website, GenderInsanity.com, to bring attention to AB 1266, as well as to SB 323, which would eliminate key tax exemptions for the Boy Scouts of America if the organization were to not accept “gender identity” and homosexuality.
SIGN WND’S PETITION TO KEEP THE BOY SCOUTS MORAL.
WND has also reported on other radical moves California lawmakers already have adopted, including SB 48, which requires positive portrayals of LGBT persons in class.

Others cited by SaveCalifornia.com as being on a radical sex agenda include:
  • SB 543, signed by then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2010, “allows school staff to remove children ages 12 and up from government schools and taken off-campus for counseling sessions, without parental permission or involvement.”
  • ACR 82, approved by the California Legislature in 2010, “creates de facto ‘morality-free zones’ at participating schools (pre-kindergarten through public universities). Schools that become official ‘Discrimination-Free Zones’ will ‘enact procedures’ (including mandatory counseling) against students from pre-kindergarten on up who are accused of ‘hate,’ ‘intolerance,’ or ‘discrimination.’” The definition of “hate” includes peacefully speaking or writing against the unnatural lifestyles choices of homosexuality and bisexuality.
  • SB 572, signed by Schwarzenegger in 2009, establishes “Harvey Milk Day” in K-12 California public schools and community colleges. In classrooms, schools and school districts that participate, children are taught to admire the life and values of late homosexual activist and teen predator Harvey Milk of San Francisco in the month of May.
  • SB 777, signed by Schwarzenegger in 2007, prohibits all public school instruction and every school activity from “promoting a discriminatory bias” against (effectively requiring positive depictions of) transsexuality, bisexuality and homosexuality to schoolchildren as young as five years old.
  • AB 394, signed by Schwarzenegger in 2007, effectively promotes transsexual, bisexual and homosexual indoctrination of students, parents and teachers via “anti-harassment” and “anti-discrimination” materials, to be publicized in classrooms and assemblies, posted on walls, incorporated into curricula on school websites, and distributed in handouts to take home.
  • SB 71, signed by Gov. Gray Davis in 2003 and implemented in 2008 through the new “sexual health” standards approved by appointees of Schwarzenegger and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O’Connell, teaches children as young as fifth grade that any consensual sexual behavior is “safe” as long as you “protect” yourself with a condom, and teaches children that homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality is “normal.”
  • AB 1785, signed by Davis in 2000, required the California State Board of Education to alter the state curriculum frameworks to include and require “human relations education” for children in K-12 public schools, with the aim of “fostering an appreciation of the diversity of California’s population and discouraging the development of discriminatory attitudes and practices,” according to the state legislative counsel’s digest.
  • AB 537, signed by Davis in 1999, permits teachers and students to openly proclaim and display their homosexuality, bisexuality or transsexuality, even permitting cross-dressing teachers, school employees and student on campus, in classrooms, and in restrooms.
In addition, majority Democrats in the California legislature have turned back plans like Assembly Bill 1861 that would have made it a felony if any teacher or employee of a public or private school “engages in a sexual relationship or inappropriate communications with a pupil.”

Egyptians targeted with blasphemy charges

oped: I say the Muslim Brotherhood is insulting to all intelligent people living in the 21 st Century...also Islam commits 'Blasphemy' against all other religions world wide..how about we take Islam to their favorite UN and charge them with religious persecution/blasphemy against all other religions?
Let's use their own book the Qur'an as evidence against them: http://sharlaslabyrinth.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-life-and-times-of-muhammad_5191.html

Abdel-Nour, the father of 24-year-old school teacher Dimyana Abdel-Nour, who is accused of insulting Islam while teaching fourth graders history of religions, speaks on the phone to a live television show about his daughter from his home in southern Egypt's ancient city of Luxor, Egypt, Thursday, May 16, 2013. Freed on Tuesday on a 20,000-pound (nearly 3,000 dollars) bail after nearly a week in detention, Abdel-Nour is due to stand trial later this month. Criminalizing blasphemy was enshrined in the country's new Islamist-backed constitution adopted in December. (AP Photo/Ibrahim Zayed)

CAIRO (AP) — The pale, young Christian woman sat handcuffed in the courtroom, accused of insulting Islam while teaching history of religions to fourth-graders. A team of Islamist lawyers with long beards sang in unison, "All except the Prophet Muhammad."
The case against Dimyana Abdel-Nour in southern Egypt's ancient city of Luxor began when parents of three of her pupils claimed that their children, aged 10, complained their teacher showed disgust when she spoke of Islam in class. According to the parents, Abdel-Nour, 24, told the children that Pope Shenouda, who led the Egyptian Coptic Church until his death last year, was better than the Prophet Muhammad.
Blasphemy charges were not uncommon in Egypt under the now-ousted autocrat Hosni Mubarak's regime, but there has been a surge in such cases in recent months, according to rights activists. The trend is widely seen as a reflection of the growing power and confidence of Islamists, particularly the ultraconservative Salafis.
"Salafis are the engineers of these stories," said Abdel-Hamid Hassan, a Muslim and the head of the parents' council at the primary school where Abdel-Nour teaches. Hassan's daughter was among several students who denied any wrongdoing by Abdel-Nour.

"If the pope himself came here from the Vatican and tried to spread Christianity among us, he would fail. We learn about our religion starting from the age of 5," he said, alluding to the allegation against Abdel-Nour, since withdrawn, of "spreading Christianity."
Criminalizing blasphemy was enshrined in the country's Islamist-backed constitution that was adopted in December.
Writers, activists and even a famous television comedian have been accused of blasphemy since then. But Christians seem to be the favorite target of Islamist prosecutors. Their fragile cases — the main basis of the case against Abdel-Nour's case the testimony of children — are greeted with sympathy from courtroom judges with their own religious bias or who fear the wrath of Islamists, according to activists.
The result is a growing number of Egyptians, including many Christians, who have been convicted and sent to prison for blasphemy.
In at least one celebrated case, the offense was clearly provocative: Seven Coptic Christians living in the United States received death sentences in absentia for producing an anti-Islam film that sparked waves of protests by ultraconservative Islamists in front of U.S. embassies across the Arab world on Sept. 11, 2012.
But rights groups say the vast majority of blasphemy cases are merely attempts by Islamists to crack down on their opponents.

"Islamists are using the law to hunt down critics to the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Christians are the weakest," said Medhat Klada, a Switzerland-based Coptic Christian activist whose organization Copts United tracks such cases. "The numbers of Christians implicated is unprecedented," he added.
Many believe that restrictions on freedoms are more severe under Mohammed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt's first freely elected president, than during his predecessor's 29-year reign.
Under Mubarak, "you might have had 50 cases, which means a case or two a year on average, but now you have like 10 cases in a year," said Mamdouh Nakhla, who leads The Word Group for Human Rights and focuses on Christian-related persecution.
Freed Tuesday on nearly $3,000 bail after almost a week in detention, Abdel-Nour is due to stand trial on May 21. Her family refused several requests by The Associated Press to speak to her. Her father, Ebid Abdel-Nour, said: "She is innocent. God be with us. She can't talk because she is in very bad condition."
Emil Nazeer, a Christian activist who visited her, says she is suffering a "nervous breakdown."
Rights advocates see cases like Abdel-Nour's as politically motivated persecution. They say the verdicts tend to be harsher in southern Egypt, where Islamists are particularly powerful and Muslims are more conservative.

"Any move or word by a Christian is enough to get the rumor mill working," said Amr Ezzat, a prominent researcher in Islamic groups at the Cairo-based Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights (EIPR). "Rumors quickly spread in villages or the towns where the radar of Islamist activists detect them and turn them into a rallying cry under the pretext that Islam's supremacy is endangered."
Salafis advocate an uncompromising and literal interpretation of the Quran, believing society must mirror the way the prophet and his immediate successors ruled in the 7th century. Some Salafi-based political groups are at odds with Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist group from which Morsi hails, while others are avid supporters of his government.
Part of the Salafis' antagonism toward Christians is rooted in the belief that they were a protected group under Mubarak's regime while they, the Salafis, were persecuted. Now empowered, they may be out to exact revenge on the Christians, who make up about 10 percent of Egypt's 90 million people.
The Egyptian Federation for Human Rights, led by former judge Naguib Gibrael, detects a trend in the number of lawsuits and court rulings leveled against Christians and school teachers in particular over the past year.
Gibrael, a lawyer who is representing Abdul-Nour, says it's his 18th case defending Christians — several of them teachers — detained over insulting Islam. He says his 17 other clients received three to six years in prison. They go to appeals courts, hoping for retrials or lighter sentences.

Another rights group, the EIPR, said it chronicled at least 36 blasphemy cases in 2011 and 2012, including more than 10 convictions, and that Christian school teachers were frequent targets.
"Teachers are an easy target," said Gibrael. "Any two students can say anything about their teachers. Islamist teachers collect signatures, and quickly Islamists move a case, then terrorize the court by holding protests and besieging the court building until the judge issues a verdict. I have seen it all," he said.
In Cairo, public figures who have lately faced blasphemy accusations or trials like movie star Adel Imam were all cleared, thanks to media attention, lobbying by rights groups and heavy police presence.
In rural areas, according to EIPR researcher Ishak Ibrahim, even those acquitted or otherwise cleared of blasphemy accusations face social or administrative punishment, with some forced by villagers to leave their homes, pay a fine or get demoted or suspended by their state employers.
Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood likes to project itself as a more moderate Islamist group when compared to the ultraconservative Salafis, but they still play a role in the blasphemy cases.
The top Brotherhood leader in Luxor, Abdel-Hamid el-Senoussi, is a lawmaker and the head of the legal team representing the families whose children testified against Abdel-Nour.

He acknowledged that two investigations by the school found no justification for the children's claims, but said he does not trust those findings.
"They just want to avoid discord. But we prefer to get to the bottom of it," he said. "Even if the court clears the teacher and rules that she is innocent, she must be fired from the school."
"There are people who want to mess up with the ship of the nation and this teacher is one of them," he said.
For him, the penalty for contempt of religion is not harsh enough. "I prefer 10 years imprisonment and, in case the judge clears the defendant, a fine that goes toward the upkeep of places of worship."
"Anyone who insults religions must be punished to deter further assaults," he said.

Piers Morgan: Now I see U.S. government tyranny

by: Chelsea Schilling

Is British CNN host Piers Morgan finally admitting gun advocates have a point when they say the Second Amendment is to protect citizens from tyrannical government?
Morgan has made headlines for many months as he loudly trumpeted the cause of gun control, even to the detriment of his shows ratings.

Since the Sandy Hook massacre last year – in which Adam Lanza shot and killed 20 students and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn. – Morgan has made advocating for gun-control legislation a frequent topic of his program, clashing with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich or rocker and National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent, for example, and calling Gun Owners of America’s Larry Pratt “an unbelievably stupid man” for disagreeing with him.
Following reports of his vitriolic attacks, a petition was started on the White House “We the People” website demanding Morgan be deported back to England – and it now has more than 109,000 signatures.
As WND reported, despite his avid criticism of guns, Morgan protects his own personal property with signs warning that it is guarded by “Armed Response Security Systems,” according to a recent investigation by self-described “guerrilla journalist” James O’Keefe.

And on March 11, Morgan insisted that, “people need the nanny state occasionally.”
Now – after learning of the Obama administration’s involvement in the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups and its secret seizure of Associated Press phone records – the CNN host admitted to guest Penn Jillette that perhaps gun advocates were right about creeping tyranny after all:
“I’ve had some of the pro-gun lobbyists on here, saying to me, ‘Well, the reason we need to be armed is because of tyranny from our own government,’ and I’ve always laughed at them,” Morgan said. “I said, ‘Don’t be ridiculous! Your government won’t turn itself on you. …
“But, actually, this is vaguely tyrannical behavior by the American government.”
He continued, “I think what the IRS did is bordering on tyrannical behavior. I think what the Department of Justice has done to the AP is bordering on tyrannical behavior.”
Jillette agreed with Morgan, stating, “There’s no doubt about that. Once you use the word ‘bordering,’ that’s true.

“I also think that it shows you that how much we can trust the government and just sit back– which is not very much at all. We have to be ever vigilant.”

Colorado sheriffs sue over new gun restrictions

Weld County, Colo., Sheriff John Cooke, left, with El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa, center right, and other sheriffs standing behind him, speaks during a news conference at which he announced that 54 Colorado sheriffs are filing a federal civil lawsuit against two gun control bills passed by the Colorado Legislature, in Denver, Friday, May 17 2013. Among other claims, the group of sheriffs and others joining the suit argue that the laws violate the 2nd and 14th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution. (AP Photo/Brennan Linsley)

DENVER (AP) — Colorado sheriffs upset with gun restrictions adopted in the aftermath of last year's mass shootings filed a federal lawsuit Friday, challenging the regulations as unconstitutional.
The lawsuit involves sheriffs from 54 of Colorado's 64 counties, most representing rural, gun-friendly areas of the state.
The sheriffs say the new state laws violate Second Amendment protections that guarantee the right to keep and bear arms. Opponents are criticizing the lawsuit as political maneuvering.

The filing targets Colorado laws that limit the size of ammunition magazines and expand background checks. The regulations passed the Legislature this spring and are set to take effect July 1.
It isn't yet clear whether the sheriffs' challenge will delay or jeopardize the laws. The filing, however, guarantees the renewal of a fierce debate over gun control.
Colorado lawmakers passed the restrictions in reaction to the shooting rampage at a suburban Denver movie theater last summer, where 12 people were killed and dozens more were wounded, and the massacre at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn.
The gun control debate was one of the most emotionally charged of the legislative session, with lengthy debates and national attention. President Barack Obama added to the attention on the Colorado Statehouse, as his administration unsuccessfully pushed Congress to enact similar gun controls.
Sheriffs' attorneys are considering whether to ask the court for a preliminary injunction, which would block the Colorado laws while the lawsuit moves forward.
The law enforcement community is divided on the issue. In contrast to the sheriffs, the Colorado Association of Chiefs of Police, which includes urban departments, supports the laws. The chiefs said the measures were "common-sense approaches" to protect the public "while not taking guns from law-abiding citizens in any way."

Unlike sheriffs, police chiefs are not elected.
Democrats maintain the public is on their side, and say legislators carefully crafted the proposals that were signed.
"These laws were not constructed haphazardly," said Democratic Sen. Mary Hodge, the sponsor of the magazine limit. "They were constructed to protect us from massacres like the ones we suffered in Aurora and Newtown."
Relatives of victims of the Colorado shooting criticized the sheriffs for filing the lawsuit and accused them of playing politics.
"As a parent who lost my son Alex at the Aurora theater shooting, I ask these people to put themselves in my place," Tom Sullivan said in a statement. "I do not understand why these politicians are picking guns over people."
Weld County Sheriff John Cooke said he and his colleagues were "not the ones playing politics with this."
"We believe that the Legislature were the ones who were playing politics," he said.
Gun control opponents say the language in the regulations is unclear and doesn't provide safeguards to prevent people from inadvertently breaking the laws.

Ammunition magazines, for example, are easily converted to larger sizes, which the bill bans. Gun rights advocates also say the law expanding background checks doesn't provide enough exemptions for temporary transfers and that people conducting private transactions will have a difficult time getting appropriate checks.
Lawmakers allowed several exemptions in the background check legislation, including transfers between immediate family members, shooting events and temporary transfers of up to 72 hours.
State officials, including Attorney General John Suthers, have worked to defend the intent of the laws. Suthers, a Republican responsible for defending the law against the legal challenge, issued a statement Friday giving guidance to law enforcement on how the magazine limit should be enforced.
He said magazine features "must be judged objectively" and that magazines that hold 15 rounds or fewer can't be defined as "large capacity" simply because it can be modified to include more.
The state has 30 days to respond to the lawsuit.

Obama makes U.S. Marine break military rules

Hoping for a break in the storm
President Obama humiliated the marine who he asked to hold his umbrella by making him ‘look like a butler’, a respected military general claimed today.
Thomas McInerney, a former United States Air Force Lieutenant General, said that the President showed a ‘lack of respect’ by making the soldier shelter him from a shower.
He also said that the President has plenty of aides so did not understand why one of them could not have held the umbrella.
The President unwittingly forced two U.S Marines to break protocol and regulations as he ordered them to use umbrellas

According to Marine Corps regulations, not even the President of the United States can request a Marine to carry an umbrella without the express permission of the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
The Marine Corp Manual, which is the bible for all soldiers serving, specifically states that a soldier's uniform dress code does not allow the carrying of an umbrella and 'no officer or official shall issue instructions which conflict with, alter, or amend any provision without the approval of the Commandant of the Marine Corps.'
Indeed, male Marines are informed never to carry an umbrella from the earliest phases of training.
Regulation MCO P1020.34F of the Marine Corps Uniform Regulations chapter 3, rules out any use or carrying of an umbrella while a Marine is in uniform.
However, female Marines 'may carry an all-black, plain standard or collapsible umbrella at their option during inclement weather with the service and dress uniforms. It will be carried in the left hand so that the hand salute can be properly rendered.'

The 3 Myths Of A Secular Government In America (Part 1)

Bible and Flag The 3 Myths of a Secular Government in America (Part 1)
By

It is often said that religion and politics don’t mix. We are also told that our government (and accordingly, the public square) must be neutral on matters of religion. It cannot favor any one religion over another. Hearing these statements so often, one is greatly tempted to believe they are true.
There is one slight problem. These are meaningless statements.

People who use these expressions have a limited understanding of religion. They have particular religions in mind and particular doctrines of that religion that are subject to different interpretations. And politics and government (especially in a multi-cultural society), they contend, must be entirely separate from religion. And, of course, there are atheists and others with no religion whose views must be held with the same regard as everyone else.
But what exactly is a religion? In common usage, it is a set of beliefs and practices involving God. However, that is a far too limited view of what a religion is. A religion purports to describe reality, all of it. It offers its explanation of the origin of the world, the nature of human beings, the meaning of life, the rules of life, what is true, and what is false

In other words, a religion is a worldview. Everyone has a worldview. It may not be thoroughly thought out. It may have inconsistencies, blatant falsehoods, and obvious distortions. But everyone has one.
People live out of what they believe about life, themselves, and other people. Some worldviews are called religion because God is a part of it. And some worldviews don’t include a God, but they are still worldviews. And just like people live out of their worldview, so do governments.
This is why so-called secular governments keep growing. There is no God for people to rely on, so government has to fill that void by being the great protector and provider for its people.
In older dictionaries, the idea of religion necessarily included a god. But not now. It can be simply “a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith.”
The most non-religious (atheistic) governments in the world are communistic. There is no god; but there is the government to see that everybody behaves and is taken care of, so to speak.
As countries become less religious, they become more communistic or socialistic. The common idea is collectivism. The void gets larger, and the government grows to fill that void.
Christians believe in a Trinity; that is, they believe that God exists in three persons, not as three separate Gods, but the three distinct personalities make up the one God. There is a secular trinity as well. The government is like God the Father, the provider, protector, and judge of the people. Science takes the place of the Son. The work of the Son makes the Christian life possible, and science is the servant of secularism energizing and supporting the cause.

True science is just the principle of observing and measuring and experimenting to determine how nature works. But science becomes and has become a religion when it says that only what can be measured and observed is real and objective truth. There is nothing beyond or outside the observed universe. This is a religious statement just as much as “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Christian dogma has been replaced with naturalist dogma.
The third part of the secular trinity is relativism. This is the spirit of the age. There is no Lawgiver outside of nature, and that involves simply physical laws. So anything called truth beyond that is individualistic. If it works for you, who is to say that it is wrong? Cultures have formed, and they are all equal expressions of individual initiative.
But new dogmas have come into being, and the government is the enforcer of these new beliefs. The beliefs (rules) are simple and few: Tolerance and fairness (or equality). Tolerance allows individuals to live their own truth within their own world, and fairness mediates among the masses because it is only inequality that promotes division and hostility between people.
So secularism is a worldview and essentially a religion, a religion without a god, but a religion nonetheless. It doesn’t require weekly worship services. Political rallies every election year are enough.
So to say that a government can be secular is just semantics. It just means naturalism, or practical atheism. It’s not a matter of religion or no religion, but what religion. A religion with a god or one without? There is no middle ground.

The second myth is that our government was intended to be a secular government. There are two problems here.
One is that we have forgotten our history and reinterpreted it and our historical documents. When the First Amendment was written, the issue before them was the idea of a national church as was common in Europe. This was rejected, but individual states had state churches; and that was written into the various state Constitutions.
A common quote from one of the Founding Fathers was that “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Our government and our nation requires a religious and moral people to exist simply because the majority can vote for anything they want, and they will and they have. It is human nature to seek power and influence and to live beyond one’s means, and those are two of our government’s biggest problems. Those who are in power do what they can to stay in power, and they spend other people’s money beyond their means to do it.
Our founders knew that if the people lost their religious and moral foundation, this form of government would not last. It would die a slow death through massive government debt.

Russian warships enter Mediterranean to form permanent task force

Russian warships enter Mediterranean to form permanent task force

Russia Today  17 May 2013

Warships from Russia’s Pacific Fleet have entered the Mediterranean for the first time in decades. Russia’s Navy Chief says the task force may be reinforced with nuclear submarines, as the country starts building up a permanent fleet in the region.

“The task force has successfully passed through the Suez Canal and entered the Mediterranean. It is the first time in decades that Pacific Fleet warships have entered this region,” the Pacific Fleet spokesman, Capt. First Rank Roman Martov told RIA Novosti

16 May 2013

While America focuses on Obama, the rest of the world knows and understands that at any moment a trigger will be pulled and events unfolding in the Middle East will change the world as we know it ...forever.

In recent days while Americans have been consumed by ever increasing scandals surrounding the Obama administration, though much less important to the average American (being on the back pages and a mere sideshow in mainstream media talking points), news that Israel has attacked Syria on more than one recent occasion in the interests of her own national security.

Israel reportedly attacked suspected shipments of advanced Iranian weaponry — the Fateh-110 surface-to-surface missile — in Syria with back-to-back airstrikes this month. Israeli officials signaled there would be more attacks unless Syria refrains from trying to deliver such “game-changing” missiles to Hezbollah. Hezbollah said weapons shipments won’t cease.

More accurate than scuds and Katushas being used against Israel ...Iranian missiles allegedly being transported to Hezbollah through Syria near Damascus were destroyed by Israel.

Notwithstanding, if equipped with chemical and biological warheads from Syria, Iranian missiles pose as extremely lethal weapons of mass destruction capable of effectively killing thousands of Israelis.

In an effort to avoid the inevitable, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Russian President Vladamir Putin in an effort to convince Russia from delivering previously sold Russian S-300 missiles and launchers.

The Russian president said that the only way to resolve the crisis was via “the soonest end to armed conflict and the beginning of political settlement.”

He added: “At this sensitive moment, it’s particularly important to avoid any action that could destabilize the situation.”

Netanyahu, however, said that the volatile situation in the Middle East requires action to improve security. “The region around us is very unstable and explosive, and therefore I am glad for the opportunity to examine together new ways to stabilize the area and bring security and stability to the area,” he said. The prime minister’s bottom line was that “Israel will do whatever it takes to defend its citizens.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly warned Russian President Vladimir Putin in an emergency face-to-face meeting on Tuesday that Moscow’s sale of the S-300 missile defense system to Assad could push the Middle East into war.

In their talks, Netanyahu reportedly told the Russian president that the S-300 had no relevance to Assad’s civil-war battles against rebel groups, and implored Moscow not to deliver the systems.

Moscow says it must honor its deal with Damascus, even though Netanyahu warned Putin that delivery of S-300 missiles could plunge the region into war

Unmoved by Israel, Russia will send top air-defense system to Assad
May 16, 2013, 8:34 pm

Russia made clear on Thursday that it will go ahead with its planned delivery of a highly sophisticated air-defense system to Syria’s President Bashar Assad.

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, evidently unmoved by the dramatic Israeli warning, declared on Thursday that while Moscow was “not signing any new deals,” it would honor existing contracts with Syria, including for the air-defense systems. “We’ve already carried out some of the deal,” Lavrov said, “and we will carry the rest of it out in full.”

A failure to honor signed contracts, Lavrov added in a television interview, would “harm the credibility” of Russia in other arms-sales contracts.

Lavrov’s statements indicated Netanyahu’s mission to Russia with President Putin
for emergency talks in the Black Sea resort of Sochi immediately after his return from China — had failed.

Accordingly, the New York Times as reported by The Jerusalem Post was contacted by an Israeli official on the matter.

Official tells 'NYT' Israel will act to prevent arms transfers to Hezbollah; says Israel will retaliate if Assad reacts.

Israel will continue to take military action to prevent the transfer of advanced weaponry to Syria, The New York Times quoted a senior Israeli official as saying Wednesday, a day after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi to discuss the troubled situation.

According to the Times, the Israeli official – who contacted the paper – said, “Israel is determined to continue to prevent the transfer of advanced weapons to Hezbollah. The transfer of such weapons to Hezbollah will destabilize and endanger the entire region.”

“If Syrian President Assad reacts by attacking Israel, or tries to strike Israel through his terrorist proxies, he will risk forfeiting his regime, for Israel will retaliate,” the official was quoted as saying.

The comments came some two weeks after Israel reportedly hit a Syrian arms depot, a chemical weapons site and a weapons convoy in Damascus believed to be in transit from Iran to Hezbollah. Both Assad and Hezbollah’s head Hassan Nasrallah have threatened to retaliate.

The Prime Minister’s Office would not comment Wednesday evening on the report.

Meanwhile, Putin – at a press conference with Netanyahu following their meeting – said the two countries would continue to maintain contact regarding the Syrian situation.

A message to Humanity concerning current events

Its important for you to understand the significance of recent events in Israel and the Middle East.

The final pieces of a divine puzzle are fitting in place according to plan at this very moment in time.

No part of Humanity will be unaffected by the outcome of pending events.

Despite denial by some, the realities of current events on the ground validate our research and content in this article wherein these are the days spoken of in Prophecy.

As the United States turned the corner from political campaign mode directly toward the much talked about fiscal cliff and the President is sworn in for a second term ...Israel's Netanyahu retains his position as Prime Minister ...Israel is further out on a limb with even more daylight between the United States and the nation of Israel with hints of global war from the international bankers' 'global elite puppet masters'.

As events unfold, it appears  ...at some point,it will be too late for effective political action. ... there reaches a point where it won’t matter who’s president and it won’t matter how devoted the global community is ...the damage will be out of control.

Whether Jewish, Christian Muslim or indifferent for anyone who reads this there is an opportunity maybe for the first time ...to recognize the Reality of God as ancient Prophesy is being fulfilled before your eyes ...what you do with it is for YOU ...where you end up at the end of it all.

The odds against unprecedented events unfolding as you read this coinciding with events described by ancient prophets in the way they are coming together are astronomical.

Release Of AP And IRS Scandals Timed To Cover-Up Benghazi?

Glenn Beck says the release of information about the IRS and AP scandals was orchestrated by the White House to distract from Benghazi.

Sorry Obama more heads need to roll..Yours included!

ConservativeActionAlerts.com
ALERT: Every single IRS employee involved in the Tea Party Targeting must be identified and brought before Congress! Blast Faxes and Tell Congress to PROBE the IRS and convict the criminals!

Conservative American,

"More heads need to roll."

Those were the words of Florida Representative Vern Buchanan after IRS Commissioner Steve Miller announced on Wednesday evening that he is stepping-down.

If Obama thinks that one man's resignation will "fix" the IRS and its unconstitutional attacks on the First Amendment, he is wrong. We know that Miller's dismissal was simply an act of theatrics - Obama's cheap appeasement offering - because we know that Miller was planning on exiting the IRS long before this scandal ever came to the surface.

The simple fact is this: a scandal this big is not the result of one or two persons - it is the result of the collaborative efforts of many of the Internal Revenue Service's employees.

The American People want every single individual involved in the IRS' crimes against the Constitution identified and brought before Congress to testify. Each and every one of them must be forced to fully disclose how they felt safe to commit their illegal acts.

Every single member of Congress must demand answers for this. This is not a matter of party; it is a matter of government accountability.

Take Action and Blast Faxes to Congress and DEMAND that they FULLY INVESTIGATE the Internal Revenue Service Scandal! Every single participant must be identified, made to testify, and be subsequently convicted of any and all crimes in which they were involved.

On May 10, IRS officials "apologized" for targeting conservative, tea party, and other pro-limited government groups and organizations.

The fact that IRS agents would bully groups and with particular ideologies contrary to their own is a gross fact -- what's worse is that senior IRS officials were aware of these offenses several years ago, yet had done nothing to stop them. Put another way, senior IRS officials have been condoning the use of our taxation system as a bludgeon for the past three years!

The IRS' Lois Lerner said that "seventy-five groups" were affected by the agency's political targeting; however, the fact of the matter is that multitudes more have been affected. Some have estimated that the list of affected organizations is nearly five-hundred, but we argue that even number that is a low approximation.

The IRS' recent admission deals with a time-window of about three years, yet this kind of politically-motivated bullying is anything but new - the IRS had done this sort of thing to conservative groups twenty years ago during the Clinton Administration.

That's why this illegal "cycle" must be stopped now. Congress must deal seriously with every IRS employee's crimes and set a precedent to prevent future offenses of the same nature!

Take Action and Blast Faxes to Congress and DEMAND that they FULLY INVESTIGATE the Internal Revenue Service Scandal! Every single participant must be identified, made to testify, and be subsequently convicted of any and all crimes in which they were involved.

Thankfully U.S. lawmakers are starting to move in the right direction by discussing severe punishments for those involved in the IRS' Tea Party Attacks.

While House Speaker John Boehner has too often acted as The Great Compromiser, he is doing the right thing on this issue: he is talking jail time for IRS criminals.

"My question isn't about who's going to resign," Boehner said on Wednesday, "my question is who is going to jail over this scandal?"

Representative David Camp also proves the need for strong measures against the IRS. Speaking of the tax authority's "corrupted culture", Rep. Camp says, "Trimming a few branches will not solve the problem when the roots of the tree have gone rotten."

Politicians, however, are always eager to talk. Their problem is inaction. That's why we must make sure that the discussions of investigations and punishments are materialized, and soon!

We don't want cheap talk on the IRS and their criminal employees - we want action!

Take Action and Blast Faxes to Congress and DEMAND that they FULLY INVESTIGATE the Internal Revenue Service Scandal! Every single participant must be identified, made to testify, and be subsequently convicted of any and all crimes in which they were involved.

"This should not be dismissed as just another conflict between left and right" said Senator Mike Lee, "it is a conflict between the federal government and the American people, who - regardless of their political leanings - should be free to exercise their constitutionally protected rights without fear of political retribution from the world's most powerful tax-collection agency."

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul introduced a resolution in the wake of the IRS' admission to investigate the tax authority's egregious attacks on conservatives' free speech rights.

"The IRS has been using taxing power as a political tool to bully these conservative groups and this type of intimidation is a major violation of our U.S. Constitution," Sen. Paul said. "This act of discrimination should not be tolerated and I demand a formal investigation seeking criminal charges against any individuals who authorized or were involved in targeting people of the United States based on their political views."

Congress must investigate the Internal Revenue Service for their deplorable crimes - lawmakers must find the very individuals who authorized these free-speech-based attacks, remove them from their posts, and charge them for their criminal activity.

Take Action and Blast Faxes to Congress and DEMAND that they FULLY INVESTIGATE the Internal Revenue Service Scandal! Every single participant must be identified, made to testify, and be subsequently convicted of any and all crimes in which they were involved.

Barack Obama's dismissal of Commissioner Steve Miller from the IRS in not enough - hosts of individuals were involved in the IRS' attack on conservatives and their free speech. Miller, as Rep. Michele Bachmann says, is simply a "scapegoat."

House and Senate members must take action:
  • Every IRS employee involved in this scandal must be identified and brought before Congress to testify;
  • Every IRS employee involved must disclose why he or she felt safe to commit these terrible crimes;
  • Every IRS employee involved must disclose the source of their hostile, discriminatory objectives;
  • Every IRS employee involved must be charged for every one of of his or her criminal acts and be subject to suitable punishments including jail time in addition to their resignation.

One or two resignations are not enough ...

Take Action and Blast Faxes to Congress and DEMAND that they FULLY INVESTIGATE the Internal Revenue Service Scandal! Every single participant must be identified, made to testify, and be subsequently convicted of any and all crimes in which they were involved.

Marginalia: The discovery of the IRS' abhorrent actions should be taken as proof that the bigger the government, the more out-of-control and inappropriate its behavior becomes.

While we press the United States Congress to fully investigate the IRS and punish its criminal members, we mustn't forget to think about the bigger picture: that the root of the problem is the unmanageable size of the federal government.

The Constitution created a limited federal government, and that is what we must always fight for.

Targeted Taxing: Now, Biden Wants to Tax ‘Violence’

oped: Let's get real folks the whole damn Obama administration is just plain nuts and or Marxist/Muslim Radicals either way they need to be immediately removed from office and prosecuted for Sedition/Treason...Period!

Taxation is an interesting concept. While most Americans scoff at the tax system–and rightfully so–it is a necessary part of life in the United States. In order that the government remains able to operate, it needs a supply of money from those living within the confines of our democracy. That is fact. What boils the blood, however, is over-taxation. As the government grows unnecessarily, so do our taxes. That is fact. Even worse than over-taxation is targeted taxation; targeting specific items or groups that stand in opposition to an administration’s agenda. Taxation can be easily used as a weapon.
The debate over gun control has brought this age-old issue out of the back corner, and into the light. There has been talk amongst Democrats, and even some Republicans, about taxing guns at a higher rate than they are taxed currently. There has also been talk of taxing ammunition, so that it is nearly impossible to purchase.

What is happening here is a targeted taxation, designed to smother our Second Amendment right to bear arms. The Democrats can’t directly attack the Second Amendment, so instead, they starve it by taxation. When Democrats don’t get what they want, they always find means to achieve their goals, regardless of the opinion of the American people.
Now, because they are failing in regard to gun control, Democrats are setting their sights on video game control. According to Politico, in a meeting with over 20 faith-based organizations, Veep Biden
“…told Graham that there was ‘no restriction on the ability to do that, there’s no legal reason why they couldn’t’ tax violent images…’He floated the idea that media and entertainment that portray violence should be subject to a special tax, with the proceeds going to help victims and their families,’ said Rabbi Julie Schonfeld, the executive vice president of the Rabbinical Assembly.”

Homeland Security guidelines advise deference to pro-Shariah Muslim supremacists

images (41)
By Charles C. Johnson:
The Department of Homeland Security, which under Secretary Janet Napolitano has shown a keen interest in monitoring and warning about outspoken conservatives, takes a very different approach in monitoring political Islamists, according to a 2011 memo on protecting the free speech rights of pro-Shariah Muslim supremacists.
In a checklist obtained by The Daily Caller entitled “Countering Violent Extremism Dos and Don’ts” the DHS’s Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties notifies local and national law enforcement officials that it is Obama administration policy to consider specifically Islamic criticism of the American system of government legitimate.

This policy stands in stark contrast to the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis’ 2009 memo “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” [pdf], which warned of the dangers posed by pro-life advocates, critics of same-sex marriage and groups concerned with abiding by the U.S. Constitution, among others.
The advice of the Dos and Don’ts list is far more conciliatory. “Don’t use training that equates radical thought, religious expression, freedom to protest, or other constitutionally-protected activity, including disliking the U.S. government without being violent,” the manual’s authors write in a section on training being “sensitive to constitutional values.”
The manual, which was produced by an inter-agency working group from DHS and the National Counterterrorism Center, advises, “Trainers who equate the desire for Sharia law with criminal activity violate basic tenets of the First Amendment.”
The checklist also advised against using moderate Muslim “trainers who are self-professed ‘Muslim reformers’” because they “may further an interest group agenda instead of delivering generally accepted, unbiased information.”

The manual advises trainees not to assume Muslim Americans are “using democratic processes, like litigation and free speech, to subvert democracy and install Sharia law.”

Anti-Obama filmmaker charges harassment by IRS

by: Jerome R. Corsi

NEW YORK – Amid disclosures of IRS harassment of conservatives, the maker of the controversial film “Dreams from My Real Father” now suspects he was the victim of tag-team harassment by the IRS and a leftist journalist apparently working in concert to intimidate him and his investors.
WND previously reported director Joel Gilbert was concerned a journalist investigating his documentary used information that could only have been obtained by hacking into his company’s bank account.

Gilbert now believes the confidential information supplied to the journalist could have come from a continuing IRS audit initiated in early 2012, possibly in retaliation for Gilbert’s documentary arguing Frank Marshall Davis is the president’s biological father, not the Kenyan Barack Obama.
Gilbert says the IRS in Los Angeles may have provided confidential information on his corporate financing to Seth Rosenfeld, a San Francisco-based reporter affiliated with the Soros-funded Center for Investigative Reporting. Rosenfeld, in turn, used the guise of writing a story as an excuse to telephone and confront Gilbert’s financial backers with details of their financial transactions recorded in Gilbert’s corporate bank accounts.
In an email to WND, Rosenfeld denied the IRS was the source of his information identifying Gilbert’s customers and investors and providing specification of their financial transactions as recorded in Gilbert’s corporate bank account.
In responding to questions posed by WND, Rosenfeld declined to disclose how he came to possess the detailed financial information he exhibited when telephoning Gilbert and various Gilbert customers and investors claiming he was researching a story.

Gilbert told WND he is meeting with legal counsel Monday to determine if he has a cause of civil or criminal legal action against the IRS and/or Rosenfeld.
IRS audit
In early 2012, the IRS reopened Gilbert’s 2009 tax return and denied all of his business expenses, even though they were well documented.
To resolve the issue, Gilbert’s accountant met the IRS auditor in Los Angeles.
“To our shock, the IRS agent who met with my accountant had a printout of the home page of the “Dreams from My Real Father” official film website on her desk,” Gilbert told WND.
Despite Gilbert resubmitting the 2009 expenses, the IRS has still not closed the case, with the next meeting between Gilbert’s account and the IRS set for next week.
The IRS spokesman in Los Angeles did not respond to a WND request for comment.

How did journalist know?
Gilbert began to suspect the IRS had distributed his information to left-leaning journalists when Rosenfeld telephoned him Oct. 26, 2012, near the end of the presidential campaign, and began citing specific deposits from Gilbert’s corporate bank account, asking Gilbert to explain the purpose of the deposits. Rosenfeld is listed on the Center for Investigative Reporting website as a “correspondent,” suggesting he does not have a staff position with the organization.
The Center for Investigative Reporting did not respond to a WND request for comment.
“I was so shocked that Rosenfeld had my confidential bank information that I asked him to send me an email detailing his questions and hung up,” Gilbert said. “Not surprisingly, Rosenfeld never sent me the email I asked for.”
Next, Gilbert told WND, Rosenfeld called one of Gilbert’s corporation’s limited partners on his private telephone number, fraudulently introduced himself as being with the Romney campaign and asked for a campaign donation.
“When my business partner said he wasn’t interested, Rosenfeld admitted to being a reporter and began citing my partner’s confidential bank wiring history sending funds to my corporate account,” Gilbert explained. “My partner hung up on him.”

Next, Rosenfeld called the elderly mother of a Gilbert customer who had purchased a large number of “Dreams from My Real Father” DVDs and paid for them by check.
“Rosenfeld tricked the woman into giving out her son’s home phone number by pretending to be an old friend,” Gilbert continued. “When Rosenfeld called the customer, he cited the amount of the check and asked the customer about his political opinions. Not being satisfied at this, Rosenfeld asked if my customer could identify by name any others he knew had made similar large purchases of my DVD.”
Gilbert told WND he has documented that Rosenfeld contacted several of his customers on their private unlisted phone numbers, citing for them various payments or wire transfers to Gilbert’s corporate account. Rosenfeld asked the customers for their political opinions and whether or not the customers had made any campaign contributions to Republicans, including to presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Gilbert told WND he now believes an IRS leak was the likely source of Rosenfeld’s information.
He also believes Rosenfeld’s phone calls, armed with specific records regarding customer transactions in Gilbert’s corporate banking account, has damaged his business.
“My private banking information was used to intimidate investors and purchasers of ‘Dreams from My Real Father,’ Gilbert told WND. “I could no longer in good conscience seek out new investors knowing that their transactions could not be kept private. I will be meeting with my attorneys this week in Los Angeles to discuss legal options and recourse.”
Reporter responds
“It is true that as a freelance journalist I was researching a story about people who anonymously funded the distribution of the Joel Gilbert film that attacks President Obama, claims his election is a part of a vast communist conspiracy and displays pornographic photos of his mother,” Rosenfeld emailed WND in response to a request for comment.

Rosenfeld denied that he misrepresented himself or engaged in any improper or illegal conduct.
“I spoke with Gilbert twice on the phone and at his request sent him an email seeking his reply to my inquiry,” Rosenfeld continued. “He declined to comment in our phone conversations, did not call me back and did not respond to my email.”
Rosenfeld said he again sought comment from Gilbert by phone and email and never got a response.
Rosenfeld denied that he received any information concerning Gilbert’s corporate accounts from the IRS.
He also denied representing himself as being associated with the Romney campaign, and he denied asking any of Gilbert’s contacts for contributions to the Romney campaign.
Gilbert rejoined Rosenfeld’s charges, arguing that Rosenfeld’s negative characterization of “Dreams from My Real Father” raised the question of whether Rosenfeld had actually viewed the DVD.
“The response further reinforces my concern that Rosenfeld was recruited to do the dirty work, to intimidate me from continuing to market the firm, for political purposes on behalf of higher powers,” Gilbert said.
Gilbert told WND that he and the customers and investors Rosenfeld contacted have documented all phone calls and conversations for presentation in any legal proceedings that may occur.
“Rosenfeld and those who provided him with my private bank information should come clean now, because the story will only get bigger if they do not,” Gilbert threatened.

‘Political harassment’
Gilbert believes the IRS and Rosenfeld targeted him for political reasons.
“Why didn’t Rosenfeld publish anything from his investigations into my film and my investors?” Gilbert asked.
“I believe I was targeted because ‘Dreams from My Real Father’ exposes Obama as a pathological liar,” he said. “Obama intentionally obscured a deeply disturbing family background in order to hide a Marxist agenda, completely incompatible with American values. It was an unacceptable manipulation of the electorate and unquestionably the biggest scandal in American history.”
He also believes the IRS and Rosenfeld may have been working together to intimidate investors and discredit his film by identifying him as a Republican Party operative.
“The fact that the IRS targeted me and Rosenfeld subsequently made his phone calls suggests to me they were working in concert, both equally afraid of the information in my film becoming public knowledge,” Gilbert charged.
“President Obama is not the son of a Kenyan goat herder who stands above politics. I demonstrated in my documentary that Obama is the child of Communist Party USA member and Soviet Agent Frank Marshall Davis. I also presented compelling evidence that Davis indoctrinated Obama into his Marxist ideology during his formative years.”
Gilbert believes Rosenfeld was not being sincere in his representation that he was writing an article but that his true intent was intimidation.

“The use of the Internal Revenue Service to intimidate Americans is criminal,” Gilbert asserted. “A conspiracy to deny the First Amendment rights of free speech to Americans is criminal.”
Gilbert’s documentary “Dreams from My Real Father” has been available at the WND Superstore since it was produced and also on Amazon.com and Netflix.
During the presidential campaign, WND reported Gilbert mailed more than 3 million free copies of the documentary to voters in swing states.
Fox News reported in May 2012 that the Center for Investigative Journalism has received close to $1 million from the George Soros-funded Open Society Foundation.
Gilbert is also producer of the 2012 award winning documentary “Atomic Jihad: Ahmadinejad’s Coming War and Obama’s Politics of Defeat.”
Rosenfeld is the author of the 2012 book “Subversives: The FBI’s War on Student Radicals, and Reagan’s Rise to Power.” In the book, he objects to what he characterizes as Ronald Reagan’s involvement for political purposes in a covert war the FBI waged in the 1960s against anti-war student radicals.
