Chuck Schumer is congratulating himself and his fellow democrats
for their part in disparaging President Trump’s cabinet nominees. “We
think we have done a real service to America,” he said. Seriously
Chuck? You’ve served Americans by further driving a wedge between them
and their rightful President? You’ve served Americans by deceiving
them, showing them how obnoxious and vile obstructionists can be, and
pandering to a base that couldn’t get your candidate elected with their
leftist, liberal ideals? Congratulations! You believe you’ve planned
well for the eventual failure of Trump and his nominees. But, you’ve
failed to see their potential for success. Who’s going to look like the
idiot when they do succeed?
CNS News
reports – Schumer said Democrats are “doing everything we can to stop
these awful nominees, whether it’s staying late and speaking (on the
Senate floor); whether it’s holding press conferences; whether it’s
going on Facebook live where we had huge turnout last night; or whether
it’s demanding when the record is so abysmal.”
Schumer said Democrats hope they can force the withdrawal of Puzder’s
nomination, but even if they can’t, it’s all about laying the
groundwork to stymie the Trump administration:
“But whether we do or not, we think we have done a real service to
America,” he said. “We have shown who these Cabinet nominees are. Every
time (Education Secretary) Betsy DeVos does something now that might
hurt public education, there’s going to be millions of Americans looking
over her shoulder. Every time (Attorney General) Jeff Sessions hurts
immigrants or voting rights, there are going to be millions of Americans
looking over his shoulder.
“Because we’ve laid the predicate for who these nominees are. And
we’re very, very — pleased is the wrong word, because we wish they had
never gotten to these positions, but we think we’ve been very effective
in showing who they are and putting some constraints on their actions
and on the president’s actions in future years.”

It is certainly understandable that the Donald Trump presidency has left Google – oops, I mean Alphabet – more than a mite discombobulated, writes our friend Seton Motley.
Google has just spent the last eight years all-but-running the Barack
Obama Administration. Google people visited the Obama White House at least 427 times. Dozens of key Google staffers – transmogrified into key Obama Administration staffers. Google literally wroteridiculously crony policies that ridiculously favored them and crippled their competitors.
But
all bad things must come to an end. The
eight-year-long-national-nightmare Obama Administration finally drew to a
close. And as it did, Google went all-in to secure Obama’s Democrat
successor – Hillary Clinton. To ensure that its crony gravy train
continued.
Lest we forget, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt in June 2016 claimed “We’re not going to touch Trump vs. Clinton.” Which was..not exactly true. Schmidt worked directly with the Clinton campaign. Schmidt was also a member of the “Democratic Victory Task Force.” Google was caught – at least twice – rigging Clinton search results so as to cover up her massive corruption.
But none of it worked. The Google crony magic was gone – Trump won.
And Google hasn’t been dealing particularly well: Anti-Trump Protesters Gather at Google Headquarters:
“(C)rowd(s) at the Mountain View, California headquarters, as well as
offices in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, and around the world,…A
person at the (headquarters) rally told CNBC that Google CEO Sundar
Pichai and cofounder Sergey Brin spoke there.…”
Not dealing so well:
“‘Some of us may need to adopt Pence 2017 bumper stickers,’ Google’s
cofounder Sergey Brin joked at a company sponsored anti-Trump protest….”
Not dealing very well at all:
“Google lawyers flooded the California office of Sen. Dianne Feinstein,
demanding she oppose (Trump nominee) Sen. Jeff Sessions’ confirmation
as attorney general.”
Eric Schmidt’s opposition has also been…less than understated: “(T)he Trump administration is ‘going to do these evil things.…’”
But while doing and saying things like all of that – Schmidt and Google are attempting to do things like this:
“Eric Schmidt, Google’s former CEO and chair of Alphabet, has traveled
to Trump Tower a least twice to meet with the president and his team,
but hasn’t made any real progress.”
Google should make absolutely zero progress. They spent most of the
last decade enjoying anti-free market government favors from a Democrat
administration. They strived mightily to ensure that there would be a
successor Democrat administration – to continue their crippling
cronyism.
And Google lost. To Trump – a man who won in large part
by pledging to end just this sort of Washington, D.C. business-as-usual
corruption.
Google’s minions should be totally removed from
anywhere they infest the federal government – and Google should get
absolutely no further favoritism from DC.
Much has rightly been made of Obama Administration staff holdovers being obnoxious, surreptitious disruptors of the Trump Administration. They all should be in totality swept out of the government. Yet bizarrely: Trump Keeping 50 Obama Administration Officials. Why on Earth would he do that?
As but one example – Trump is inheriting Patent and Trademark Office head Michelle Lee.
Whose immediately preceding gig was the first ever head of Patents and
Patent Strategy – for Google. Google’s patent strategy – is to steal as many patents as they possibly can.
I would like to think the Trump Administration would remove Google’s
crafter of patent theft – from atop the U.S. patent office.
Despite
some lame face-saving attempts at post-election outreach, Google
clearly remains vociferously opposed to the Trump Administration and the
many anti-cronyism cleanups in which this administration is going to
engage.
Obama Administration Google holdovers – are an awful
subset of all of the awful Obama Administration holdovers. Leaving any
of these residual moles in place – will only greatly hamstring and
damage the DC improvements this administration will try to make. ALL of
them – absolutely need to go.
And any continued Google lobbying efforts – any attempts to maintain
any of their government-crony favors – should be summarily rebuffed and
dismissed. While their government-favors – are summarily rolled back
and dispatched.

ZOA says the “absurdity” of Pelosi “labeling Mr. Bannon a ‘white
supremacist’” is evidenced by the multiple pro-Israel stories published
by Breitbart News while Mr. Bannon was the site’s chairman.

Country music superstar Reba McEntire is the
latest artist to endorse the idea that entertainers should not preach
their political opinions to their fans.
The View co-host Joy Behar broached the topic with McEntire Wednesday by
referencing rapper Drake’s recent F-bomb-laced anti-Donald Trump rant.
“F*ck that man!” Drake told a sold-out crowd in England after a lengthy
screed about Trump dividing Americans.
Behar asked McEntire, “If you ever went on a political rant in the middle of your act, what would happen?”
“My fans would be shocked,” the two-time Grammy-winner said. “I take it
this way: they have paid their hard-earned money to come in there and
fill a seat — parking, getting something at the concession stand, go and
eat before the concert — I am there to entertain them, to take their
worries away from them, so when they walk out, they can kind of have a
little lift in their step and go, ‘Aw, that was such a great break from
all the problems I have to deal with during daily life.’ So I’m not
going to give them my political views.”
Is there a plot by Muslim supremacist groups to colonize America and
eventually turn it into an Islamic Sharia government? According to one
woman, the answer is an emphatic "Yes."
Ann Corcoran, the woman behind Refugee Resettlement Watch, claims
that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is “under the
influence of a powerful Muslim supremacist group.”
Corcoran, author of Refugee Resettlement and the Hijra to America, described Muslims migration as "hijra."
“Mohammed told his followers to migrate and spread Islam, in order to
dominate all the lands of the world ... and that’s exactly what they’re
doing now," she said.
She is not far off either. Historical evidence is on her side when she warns of this. Author Robert Spencer has written not only of the history of Islam, but also the means they will use to accomplish global domination as instructed in the Koran and the Hadiths.
Ms. Corcoran is a former environmental lobbyist from Maryland, who
was made are of African refugees that were being resettled near her in
2006. That's when she began to blog and document the concerns she had
and what she discovered.
Ms. Corcoran has a bachelor's degree in wildlife biology from Rutgers and a master's in environmental studies from Yale. She used her background to lobby for the Nationa Audubon Society from 1975 to 1980.
Before you write her off, consider that she was targeted by the premier hate group in America, the Southern Poverty Law Center.
In April 2015, Corcoran wrote. "There needs to be a national debate
about how many refugees and other immigrants we take and from what
cultures they come from. Frankly, we have made a grievous error in
taking the Muslim refugees, Somalis in particular, who have no intention
of becoming Americans. They are here to change America.
Unfortunately, political correctness and a worshipful attitude toward
multiculturalism have blinded us."
She went on to warn, "The explosion on this front is yet to come and it will be like the Major Hasan slaughter at Ft. Hood and there will be much fingerpointing and gnashing of teeth about who is to blame primarily at the US State Department."
Corcoran has also hooked up with Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy.
"It is now public knowledge that nearly every major Muslim
organization in the United States is actually controlled by the MB
[Muslim Brotherhood] or a derivative organization," reads a 2011 Center for Security Policy
report. "Consequently, most of the Muslim American groups of any
prominence in America are now known to be, as a matter of fact, hostile
to the United States and its Constitution."
The effects of the resettlement program will not be fully seen for a
generation or two, but unless Christians get busy presenting Muslims
with the truth of the Gospel, America is headed for a destructive
future. Before you say it can't or wont' happen, perhaps you should
take a look at Dearborn, Michigan, or a glimpse at Tampa, Florida, or more recently, the streets of New York City.

informed people around the globe fall into one of two camps. There are
those who come from a socialist, or a communist background, and they see
see Soros as one of the world’s wealthiest men, who often acts as a

presents itself. As a boy, Soros was a Nazi sympathizer during WWII, and
the rest of his adult life he’s maintained intimate ties to Socialism
and Communism. Furthermore, Soros is often viewed or perceived as the
“front man” for many of the other uber elites around the world, many of
whom are members of exclusive secret societies including as the
Bilderberg Group and the Illuminati.
In the other camp, are those who value freedom, liberty, and free
market capitalism, and they therefore see George Soros as an
"untouchable terrorist" because of his wealth and power. George Soros is
the man behind the heinous organization moveon.org,
and in recent years has funded uprisings and riots at events
including those in: Ukraine, the Arab Spring, Ferguson, Baltimore,
Occupy Wall Street, and most recently Soros is bankrolling the wretched
group Black Lives Matter, as well as the group Democracy Spring,
which is promising to bring about the “largest civil disobedience action
of the century” if they don’t get their way in the 2016 elections.
Anyone recall if there was any violence or deaths at the aforementioned
events? Exactly!
As far back as when Soros was a young man during Nazi occupied
Hungary, Soros always traded currencies on the black market. Gradually,
over the years, while mastering his craft, Soros became one of the
wealthiest men on earth in the process. During that period, he’s come to
be known in global currency markets as, “The Currency Killer.” That
will be important later. For now, just realize that George Soros’
primary business is importing chaos into regions he needs destabilized
for his own personal gain.
Based on that premise, it should be easy to understand what Alex Jones
is talking about in the first video below, which is how the CIA has tied
Soros, a HUGE Hillary Clinton financial backer, with having ties to a
terrorists. As you read this post, keep in your mind that THIS is the
company Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have long ben in bed with
politically, and funded by in many of their exploits. Obama is a Soros
favorite.
“Terrorism” is nothing new to George Soros, it just isn’t called
“terrorism” when he does it. As an example of Soros terrorism, now would
be a good time to mention that in addition to financing people to riot
at the places mentioned above, Soros and Hillary Clinton were actually
the ones behind all the anti-Trump rallies, and the violence that came
with them. It was later discovered after the media had spun its false
narrative, that the protestors were being paid $16 per hour to show up and cause chaos. They didn't have a beef with Trump. They were paid to be there.
THE VERY DEFINITION OF TERRORISM IS DEFINED AS: "A Person Who Uses Terror In the Pursuit of a Political Aim"
This isn’t rocket science. Using violence, and threatening to carry
out the “largest civil disobedience action of the century” if "Democracy
Spring" doesn't get their way in the 2016 elections, is a textbook
example of “using terror in the pursuit of a political aim.” If you
doubt that that it should be called terror, might I suggest questioning
some of the dead from previous Soros funded events, and see if they
agree with me or you. Let me know how that goes.
SOROS’ ROLE IN ORCHESTRATING THE MUSLIM REFUGEE “CRISIS”
Don’t think Soros is limited to importing chaos into just U.S.
politics either. As the “front man” for the Bilderberg Group and the
Illuminati, George Soros is very open publicly about his desire for one
world government, and has even admitted to helping fund to facilitate
the process.
In the video below, you’ll see that long before the Muslim refugee
crisis got way out of hand, Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, was
opposed to Muslim Refugees/migrants coming into Hungary. After taking
matters into his own hands, in an email issued to Bloomberg Business,
Soros took responsibility for starting the Muslim invasion of Europe by
financing the beginning of the massive migrant wave. Soros claimed his
foundation was “helping uphold European values,” while the Prime
Minister’s actions in strengthening Hungary’s border “undermined those
values.”
Referring to the Prime Minister, Soros later added, “His plan treats
the protection of national borders as the objective and the refugees as
an obstacle… Our plan treats the protection of refugees as the objective
and national borders as the obstacle." The Prime Minister responded to
Soros saying, “This invasion is driven, on the one hand, by people
smugglers, and on the other by those activists who support everything
that weakens the nation-state.”
George Soros has been a long time ally of both Hillary Clinton and
Barack Obama. His alleged ties to a terrorist act should not surprise
anyone. Unbeknownst to so many Americans, Soros funds virtually all left
wing/Communist uprisings, and is virtually always the money behind
poetical agitators here in the United States. Sadly, because the
mainstream media is so dishonest and so corrupt, the typical American
voter has no idea that events the “presstitutes” report as “spontaneous,
with no organization or funding” are normally quite the opposite. They
are highly coordinated, and very well funded efforts, with Soros usually
behind them.
If Americans are smart, they’ll take this information about Soros'
alleged ties to a terrorist act, and combined with all of Hillary’s
other shady dealings, they’ll be able to deduce there is no way that

Recall up above I said that Soros’ nickname for years has been, “The
Currency Killer,” right? With all you SHOULD know about the problems in
the U.S. economy, why would Hillary be so closely associated with one of
the richest men on earth (and a man nicknamed “The Currency Killer”),
who also just happened to bet for the whole world to see, that the U.S.
Dollar is is about to collapse?

Finally, now that you have all the pieces, put them together. Soros’s
refugee “crisis” isn’t only affecting Europe is it? Think about all the
battles being waged in Washington D.C. right now with Obama trying to
rush in as many unvetted Muslim “refugees” as possible. Also consider

formerly Top Secret Central Intelligence Agency document, the National
Intelligence Daily of February 4, 1987, strongly suggests a George Soros
connection to a terrorist bombing in what was then Czechoslovakia.
1986 to 1987 saw the early effects of Soviet leader Mikhail
Gorbachev’s glasnost policies begin to take effect in eastern Europe.
George Soros, whose insider currency speculation made him one of only a
few Wall Street vampires to make out financially in the “crash of
October 1987,” began to take advantage of the situation in eastern
Europe. Two weeks after “Black Monday,” Soros shorted the U.S. dollar
and his Quantum Fund ended 1987 with a 13 percent gain in value. Soros
was flush with money to launder to groups in eastern Europe, funds the
CIA calls “kosher cash.” Soros intended to weaken the then-ruling
Communist governments. One of Soros’s first targets was Czechoslovakia.
Soros, who already had a link with the CIA through his participation in
and funding of a number of CIA groups, including the Council on Foreign
Relations, funneled cash, and lots of it, to “pro-democracy” pressure
groups like Charter 77 in Czechoslovakia and Solidarity, both now known
as nothing more than CIA fronts. In fact, the Charter 77 Foundation
received a third of its funding from Soros, with a substantial amount of
its remaining funding provided by CIA-linked entities like the U.S.
National Endowment for Democracy (NED). Soros began his infiltration of
eastern Europe in 1984 when his New York-based Soros Foundation signed
an agreement with Hungary that established the Soros Foundation
Budapest. Eventually, Soros Foundation Budapest merged with a Cold War
CIA front in Paris, the French affiliate of the Congress for Cultural
Freedom.
Soros’s championship of “themed revolutions” through “non-violent”
street action has often led Soros-backed groups to commit acts of
violence. This has been seen on the streets of Kiev, Tbilisi, Caracas,
Cairo, Sana’a, and Damascus.
With Soros’s agents and money flooding Czechoslovakia and helping to
prop up Charter 77 and leaders like Vaclav Havel and Karel
Schwarzenberg, a leader of the Czech opposition based in Vienna, did
Soros raise the stakes by helping to fund acts of terrorism in
Czechoslovakia?
The CIA report states “the recent bombing of the Czechoslovak
Communist Party’s headquarters at Ceske Budejovice and subsequent
attempted attacks on the party’s buildings in other cities have alarmed
authorities and led to heightened security at facilities across the
country. [The source of the CIA’s information is redacted].”

The CIA then reveals the Prague government pointed the finger at
foreign agitators working through “youth gangs.” The major funders of
youth groups agitating against the Communist government at the time were
supported by Soros and the NED. The question remains: Did George Soros
authorize acts of terrorism against the Czechoslovak government? If so,
why is Mr. Soros not in prison for aiding and abetting acts of terrorism
in Europe?
The CIA analysis of the terrorist attacks concluded that the violence
may have represented the work of an “outside group.” Again, the finger
pointed at Soros. An entire paragraph in the report on the Czechoslovak
bombing campaign remains redacted by the CIA.
The CIA believed that the bombings were conducted in
order to mobilize the “usually apathetic” Czechoslovak population. The
CIA has its own sordid history of waking up apathetic populations
through the use of false flag terrorist attacks.
Mr. Soros is a major contributor to Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Soros’s possible activities in 1986 and 1987 may eventually show that
Mrs. Clinton’s campaign was financed by a bank roller of terrorism.

States, and I hereby declare a national emergency to deal with that
threat.”
Obama’s Executive Order In 2014 Paved The Way For This To Happen
Nearly a month after this order was signed US diplomatic cables show
that Soros did “undermine the processes and institutions in Ukraine.”
Due to Soros’s illegal intervention into a peaceful transition of power,
mass conflict erupted and an estimated 9,600 men, women, and children
lost their lives.
Clearly that is interfering in the process. So why didn’t President
Obama charge Soros as a threat to the United States national security?
It’s because Soros flooded Obama and Hillary’s Democratic Party with
about $100 million in donations. You really think that Obama is going to
charge someone that has donated that much to their party?
Soros began his takeover back in 2004, as he declared “it is the
central focus of my life” and “a matter of life and death” to push his
influence on the American people and our democracy. While 2004 failed,
Soros had turned to 2016 and had become Hillary’s highest donor. We know
that Hillary listens to people that donate to her, so she would have
been listening to Soros the entire time.
Now that the Democratic Party has been completely defeated, Soros is
doing what he can to go against President Trump, saying “democracy is
now in crisis.” Soros has been active in his fight against Trump, as he
was discovered to have been the mastermind behind paying protesters to
cause as much damage and destruction as possible.
During the election season, there were several Black Lives Matter
protests that quickly turned violent. These protesters started riots,
went up against the police force, and generally made life difficult for
law-abiding citizens. Then came a report that Soros was paying these
protesters around $15 an hour to protest, and they would have their
expenses paid for.
Soros Paid Protesters To Riot And Cause Damage
It didn’t just stop at the Black Lives Matter protests either. There
were several protests against Trump during the election season that
turned violent. Again, another report circulated that protesters were
getting paid to cause as much destruction as possible.
Considering that one of these protests actually shut down a speech
that Trump had planned to make, it’s safe to say that they were
effective at the time. Not to mention that these people were endangering
other people around them and creating a lot of problems for the police
forces that were assigned to them.
It’s about time that Trump did something against Soros. This man has
been responsible for funding protests that have turned violent in the
United States. He has been responsible for attempting to control the
Democrats through his donations to the Party. This man is a menace to
society, and Trump is finally labeling Soros like he should be: a
“National Security Threat.”
Other nations are starting to do something against Soros as well. Hungary became the first nation to come forward and do what they could to bring down Soros.
Hungary said that they will use “all the tools at its disposal” to

Again, Soros has done what he could to help finance and protest against Trump’s inauguration. A report came out that showed he was directly tied to over 50 groups that were set to protest the inauguration of Trump. If he is tied to that many groups, then that is a lot of money invested in people just to protest something.

Hillary Clinton just released this video, it’s her first since the election.
Her
usual liberal tropes about about glass ceilings and making history are
supplemented with praise for the “women’s marches” across the country.
BTW, she’s still ultra-annoying. Watch out for an irritating four-word

The Clinton family spent the past three decades eagerly milking every
dollar they could from the U.S. political system. Reports say the
family pocketed nearly $250 million in various fees, book deals, and
backroom handshakes with Wall Street giants during their time in public
office.
But following Hillary’s defeat in November to President Donald Trump,
the Clinton’s “bank robbery” approach to politics appeared to be over.

Enter Chelsea Clinton. The former first daughter is cultivating an
increasingly public profile, which suggests she’s gearing up for some

requires that they be separated from their hive-mind support apparatus;
they cannot begin the process of accepting reality in the presence of
encouragement towards delusion and irrationality. Separation may require
the assistance of law enforcement.

The American Civil Liberties Union is little more than a fundraising arm and mouthpiece for the DNC.
The national nonprofit organization is supposed to champion civil
liberties for all — but a series of high-profile events that have played
out over the past week have highlighted how that’s hardly the case.
When President Trump announced his sweeping executive order on
immigration that paused travel from seven Muslim-majority countries and
temporarily halted the nation’s refugee program, the ACLU didn’t waste a
minute in strongly condemning his actions on social media and filing
suit. Their public opposition to the order led to millions in donations
aimed at fighting Trump tooth and nail. But when thugs, anarchists and arsonists rioted at the University of
California, Berkeley to prevent gay conservative Milo Yiannopoulos from
speaking at their liberal campus, the ACLU was silent. Clearly the ACLU
only believes in protecting free speech when non-conservatives are doing
the talking.
So much for pro-diversity. Like many liberals, the ACLU pretends to
be tolerant but blatantly practices intolerance toward anyone with
differing viewpoints.
The ACLU didn’t denounce the violent protesters at Berkeley, who
trampled the speaker’s right to free speech and caused nearly $100,000
in property damage.
When former vice presidential candidate and U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine
fanned the flames by telling his Democrat supporters to “fight in the
streets” against Trump’s policies, it was once again crickets from the
ACLU. But then again, he’s a card-carrying liberal, he gets a pass.
Then there were the riots at New York University Thursday night,
where out-of-control protesters smashed windows and destroyed public
property to keep Gavin McInnes, another conservative, from speaking at
the college. And despite 11 arrests, the ACLU said nothing.
Why? Because the ACLU cherry-picks issues that support a liberal political narrative.
When a Trump campaign office in North Carolina was firebombed last
fall, did the ACLU defend Republicans’ right to political speech? Did
they denounce the “Kill Your Local Trump Supporter” graffiti that was
spray-painted in Mission Hill last fall? Nope, they looked the other way. But you can bet if a Syrian refugee’s rights are being violated, they’ll go ballistic.

Congressman Jason Chaffetz
(R-UT) has withdrawn legislation that would have upheld his oath of
office and the Constitution by returning land back to the people from
the usurpation of the central government and the Bureau of Land Management, apparently under pressure from "groups" he "supports" believing that it "sends the wrong message."
Chaffetz's legislation was introduced in January and called on the Department of Interior to either dispose of or sell 3.3 million acres of "public lands."
However, it appears that he is facing pressure from conservationist groups who claim the legislation "sends the wrong message."
"I'm a proud gun owner, hunter and love our public lands," Chaffetz posted.
"The bill would have disposed of small parcels of lands Pres. Clinton
identified as serving no public purpose but groups I support and care
about fear it sends the wrong message."

According to The Washington Post,
"The Disposal of Excess Federal Lands Act, which would have shifted
federal holdings to state governments in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho,
Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Wyoming, prompted an
outcry among hunters and anglers' groups. Introduced three weeks after
House Republicans enacted a rule change to make it easier to sell off federal land,
the measure prompted two separate rallies in Santa Fe, N.M., and
Helena, Mont., this week that drew hundreds of people opposed to the
measure."
The Salt Lake Tribune reports: The legislation details swaths of Bureau of Land Management acreage over 10 Western states cited in a 1997 Clinton administration report as
not otherwise set aside for oil, gas or mineral extraction, listed for
wilderness protection or designated for Native American groups. That
includes 132,931 acres in Utah.
The findings, though, note that some of the lands identified may
have other conflicts, including disposal costs, the existence of
cultural resources or hazardous conditions. The study was requested by
Congress at the time as part of an exchange plan to restore the Florida
Everglades.
Chaffetz has introduced the bill every year since 2010, but it
has never passed or gone forward to a committee hearing. The legislation
accords with other Republican efforts in Utah to take control public
lands, which account for about two-thirds of the state's area.
"While there are national treasures worthy of federal protection,
there are lands that should be returned to private ownership," Chaffetz said in 2011.
The move to drop the legislation, though, was lauded by public lands conservation groups.
Chris Saeger, director of Western Values Project, said Chaffetz deserves thanks for withdrawing the "irresponsible bill."
"If he values public lands enough to abandon this plan," Saeger
said in a prepared statement, "he should refrain from interfering with
the land protected by President Obama's Bears Ears monument."
That step is not likely. Chaffetz has been a staunch opponent of
the December monument designation in San Juan County, calling it "a slap
in the face to the people of Utah."
Of course, it's a slap in the face of the people of Utah Congressman!
However, it's a bigger slap in the face that the central government
"owns" a ton of land it never acquired per the Constitution, through
state legislatures! Yet, you claim your legislation "sends the wrong
message." However, you never tell us what that message is. Is it that
the DC government should not own or manage that land? That is the right
message, Sir! Is it that some people who support you want the
Constitution violated concerning "public land," something that the
Constitution clearly limits?
Does this map look like Constitutional limits on "public land," Mr. Chaffetz?
From what I can see, so-called "conservatives" are ok with this kind of lawlessness when it benefits them. Alex Robinson of Outdoor Life
elaborated on conservationists and hunting groups having concerns that
selling off small portions of land to private interests could cut off
public access to national forests for hunter or campers.
Well, again, where is that in the Constitution, friends? If you want
land to hunt on, get a friend that has the land and ask to hunt, or buy
property!
I know what some are saying, "Tim, it's not that simple." Oh yes, it
is. It's as simple as the central government coming in and in one quick
swoop usurping constitutional authority, growing government to enforce
that usurpation and even threatening and imprisoning those who would seek to correct the injustice.
