Savage rips ‘cowardly’ condemnation of Marines in video

The Defense Department and top Marine Corps brass responding to a video that apparently shows four U.S. Marines urinating on bloodied bodies in Afghanistan should be standing up for brave American warriors instead of kowtowing to radical Islamic lobby groups and Afghan leaders, says talk-radio host Michael Savage.

“What have the Taliban done to our troops? What have the Taliban done to the Afghanis? What are they responsible for in terms of human degradation?” Savage asked his “Savage Nation” listeners last night. “Why is our government punishing our Marines instead of saluting them?”
As military officials investigate the 39-second video, which surfaced amid attempts by Washington to engage in peace talks with the Taliban, U.S. officials already are condemning the Marines.

CNN contributor salutes Marines for urinating on dead Afghans (AUDIO)

The video of American marines urinating on the corpses of Afghan civilians has prompted worldwide outrage, condemnation from the White House and the opening of a federal investigation. CNN's Dana Loesch thinks the whole thing is pretty cool, though.
Loesch, the 33-year-old CNN contributor hired last year to offer political analysis for the coming election, is already giving the network their money's worth. Speaking during her own syndicated radio program on Thursday, Loesch discussed the just-surfaced video that shows four Marines urinating on the corpses of slain Afghans, presumed to be civilians.

Her own insight seems to be a bit more harsh than the commentary that others are offering.
“I’d drop trou and do it too,” Loesch told listeners during the January 12 broadcast of The Dana Show. “I want a million ‘cool points’ for these guys. Is that harsh to say?” she asked.
Loesch, who says she was a liberal until the September 11 terrorist attack, added that she had no problem with the act of desecration. “Come on people, this is a war,” she said. On the contrary, even those responsible for continuously waging the deadly operation in Afghanistan have condemned the act portrayed in the video and all the men involved.

Loesch, however, seems to be more upset with the nay-sayers than the servicemen who might have just extended America’s war with Afghanistan. “Now we have a bunch of progressives that are talking smack about our military,” she said. “Can someone explain to me if there’s suppose to be a scandal if someone pees on the corpse of a Taliban fighter?”
At one point in the broadcast, Loesch is interrupted by another DJ that announced that, despite what the media is saying, there are no similarities between this incident and the Abu Ghraib scandal that exposed the mistreatment of prisoners of war at an Iraq facility. “It’s nothing compared to what happened at the prison in Iraq,” commented her co-host.

Americans cheered Gen. Patton when he urinated on the enemy

By Robert K. Wilcox
(Wilcox is my friend and the author of Target: Patton: The Plot to Assassinate General George S. Patton. ~Eowyn)
The last soldier I heard of urinating on the enemy was Gen. George S. Patton. Should the general, who, as much as any other, was responsible for defeating the Nazis, have been driven from the military for such and act? You’d think so from the hysteric response building in the mainstream and Left-leaning press to a video allegedly showing marines urinating on dead Taliban fighters. Presuming it’s authentic, such reaction is absurd.

Is that what happened in the video in question? We don’t know at this point. It’s possible. But even if not, what’s on the video isn’t an atrocity or war crime. It’s a logical rarity by young men in harms way against what they know to be the threat that can snuff any one of them or their buddies if the tables were turned. How quick we forget the blood curdling screams of Nick Berg and Daniel Pearl. Are urinations on lifeless bodies anything near that?

Gen. Patton did his public urinating not on a dead body but into the enemy’s most famous river, The Rhine. His Third Army was the first Allied army to cross it and take the war on the ground past that last German barrier. A photographer caught the act as Patton stood in the middle of a pontoon bridge and directed his stream defiantly into the enemy’s larger one – like a dog marking its territory. War is a dirty business, with minimum rules for the living, notably the Geneva Convention, prisoner of war dictates the Taliban, by the way, does not recognize. But as repugnant as they may be to some, there are no rules for the dead, for that is the point of war.
Pile them up, let them rot, piss on them. Like it or not, it’s what happens in such a nasty business. Don’t make more of it than what can be expected when young men are sent to kill others.

Bain Capital Owns Clear Channel (Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Etc.)

Bain Capital Owns Clear Channel (Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Etc.)

Th End of the American Dream Blog
January 13, 2011
Wouldn’t it be great if a Republican presidential candidate could just buy the support of just about every major conservative talk show host in America?
Well, it may not be as far-fetched as you may think.  Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than anyone else in the United States.  They also own Premiere Radio Networks, the company that syndicates the radio shows of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck, among others.
Needless to say, Clear Channel basically owns conservative talk radio in the United States.  So who owns Clear Channel?  Well, it turns out that Bain Capital is one of the primary owners of Clear Channel.
Yes, you read that correctly.  The company that Mitt Romney ran for so long is one of the “big bosses” over virtually all conservative talk radio in America.  Of course Mitt Romney is not running Bain Capital anymore.
He is a “retired partner”, but he still has a huge financial stake in Bain Capital.  We’re talking about millions upon millions of dollars.  If you doubt this, just check out page 34 of this public financial disclosure report.

So if you have been wondering why so many conservative talk show hosts are being so incredibly kind to Mitt Romney, this just might be the answer.
In the media world, there is a clear understanding that you simply do not bite the hand that feeds you.  Some of the most prominent conservative talk radio hosts are earning tens of millions of dollars a year.

Allen West on the Marines Incident: 'Shut Your Mouth, War Is Hell'

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), a former Army lieutenant colonel, sends THE WEEKLY STANDARD an email commenting on the Marines' video, and has given us permission to publish it.
“I have sat back and assessed the incident with the video of our Marines urinating on Taliban corpses. I do not recall any self-righteous indignation when our Delta snipers Shugart and Gordon had their bodies dragged through Mogadishu. Neither do I recall media outrage and condemnation of our Blackwater security contractors being killed, their bodies burned, and hung from a bridge in Fallujah.
“All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill. Does anyone remember the two Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division who were beheaded and gutted in Iraq?
“The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.
“As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”

States still ‘gun’ for unsuspecting firearm owners

by Jeff Knox

The closing days of 2011 brought a rash of collisions between otherwise upstanding citizens and New York’s infamous gun laws.
On Dec. 16 Mark Meckler, a prominent California Tea Party leader, was arrested at LaGuardia Airport as he attempted to check luggage containing his unloaded, cased, handgun in accordance with TSA, FAA and Delta Airline rules.
Then on Dec. 22, fourth-year medical student Meredith Graves was arrested at the 9/11 memorial when she asked a security guard where she could check her pistol in an attempt to comply with a “No Guns” sign. That case echoed a September case in which Indiana jeweler, Ryan Jerome, also tried to comply with a “No Guns” sign at the Empire State Building by asking a guard to secure his weapon.
These are just the latest examples in a long stream of incidents that serve to demonstrate how gun laws snare the law-abiding.
On Jan. 5, Maryland businessman Stephen Grant walked out of a Manhattan courthouse after plea bargaining a gun charge down to a misdemeanor. Mr. Grant had driven to New York City for the weekend and then remembered his licensed handgun in the glovebox. Rather than leave the gun in the car, he locked it in the room safe at the hotel – and then forgot to take it with him when he left. Silly, stupid mistakes, but not worth the 3.5 to 15 years prosecutors originally threatened.
Almost a year before, Jonathan Ryan, a Florida landscaper, faced similar charges when police found a gun in his glove box during a routine traffic stop. Ryan made the far riskier decision to go to trial and won when a jury refused to convict him.

Judge: Following Christian beliefs wrong

by Bob Unruh

A ministry that follows the dictates of its own faith is engaging in wrongdoing, according to a New Jersey judge who recommended today that the state Division on Civil Rights find the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association violated the state’s nondiscrimination law.
“The respondent violated the [Law Against Discrimination] when it refused to conduct a civil-union ceremony for Ms. Bernstein and Ms. Paster,” wrote Solomon Metzger, an administrative law judge whose determination will become final if not overturned by the Division of Civil Rights.

“Respondent opposes same-sex unions as a matter of religious belief, and in 2007 found itself on the wrong side of recent changes in the law.”
The seaside location has been popular for years for a number of weddings, but the association, which is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, determined it could not biblically allow same-sex ceremonies to take place on its property.
So when Harriet Bernstein and Luisa Paster signed up for such a ceremony, they were turned down. They filed the discrimination complaint then, and the state’s Division on Civil Rights joined their cause.
“The government should not be able to force a private Christian organization to use its property in a way that would violate its own religious beliefs,” said Jim Campbell, a litigation staff counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund.
This is a prime example of a Liberal Activist Judge twisting and spinning the Constitution...they only cite the Constitution when it fits their agenda...Separation of Church and State anyone?

Did they torture anyone!~ just reacted after a firefight...this dates back to the begining of warfare...those who never served sure like to criticize those who react under due stress...I say to them  let them eat cake and get their hands dirty before they judge..what say you?

I could go on and on...but am to ticked off at MSM DOD et al! They live in a bubble and love to prosecute... without getting their lilly white hands dirty...sorry state of affairs folks!

Anti-Arpaio protesters ousted from meeting

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in Arizona could be the next target of a transplanted attorney-activist, according to his own words as he was being escorted out of a board meeting today.
Activist Randy Parraz, who earlier worked to derail the re-election efforts of state Sen. Russell Pearce, has been lobbying against Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his office. Arpaio is scheduled within weeks to release a report on an investigation of Barack Obama’s eligibility for the 2012 ballot.

Obama targets Facebook, Twitter, Drudge

by Bob Unruh
Documents have been uncovered revealing the Department of Homeland Security, run by Janet Napolitano under Barack Obama’s direction, is monitoring dozens of popular websites such as Facebook, Twitter, the Drudge Report, the Middle East Media Research Institute, and Jihad Watch, and is collecting “personally identifiable information.”
The documents first were uncovered by Reuters, and have been confirmed as genuine by Washington officials.

Open letter to Congress...Impeach Obama!

The White House Watch

TO: The Republican Leadership Of The United States Senate And The United States Representatives: The Hon. Jon Kyl, The Hon. John A. Boehner, The Hon. Eric Cantor, The Hon. Kevin McCarthy, The Hon. Jeb Hensarling

RE: The Cordray Anointing Is The Final Straw. Remove Barack Obama Or The American People Will Remove You!
Congratulations, you finally succeeded in allowing Barack Obama to declare you IRRELEVANT. For months, Barack Obama has telegraphed that he fully intends to trample our Constitution into the dirt and govern without the consent of Congress and the courts. To put it in the words of Obama adviser Josh Earnest, working with Congress is "no longer a requirement."

On Wednesday, January 4, 2012, Obama finally made good on that promise and, in direct violation of Article 2, Section 2 of the United States Constitution, anointed Richard Cordray as head of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau without the advice and consent of the United States Senate and in spite of the fact that the United States Senate was clearly in session. Do not deceive yourselves, this anointing was not simply another Obama usurpation of power and abuse of the Constitution. It was a test; and it was a test that you are failing miserably.

What must Barack Obama do? How many offenses must he commit before you begin to understand that, for the good of the country, he must be impeached? When will you realize that the American people can't wait another year to remove the malignancy that is killing this great country from power? When will you realize that Barack Obama is clearly out of control and there is only one Constitutional remedy that can save our Republic and stop his tyrannical abuses of power?

Tough sounding words will not stop him; he clearly is not intimidated by your feckless protests. And hoping that the courts will step in and intercede is a strategy that will doom this great country to ruin.

Get some backbone. Your duty is clear. Barack Obama must be impeached before he can do any more harm to the American people. Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution exists for such a time as this and the American people are counting on you to do your duty and do what is right for this great country. You have a choice. Remove Barack Obama from office or the American people will remove you!

The Real Romney?

I'm sorry I just don't trust him...he flip flops more than John Kerry&John McCain!

UPDATE: Attorney Orly Taitz website is reporting that a Georgia Judge has issued a subpoena demanding Barack Obama appear in court January 26 AND produce his original long form birth certificate, passport records, collegeregistration records and more.

The Mormon 6+1 Howard Hughes Summa Corp Hostile takeover!

They had no lavish corporate suites, no direct authority over other senior Hughes employees, practically no business experience. They did, however, have two striking advantages: they were, with a single exception, adherents to Mormonism, a religion that embodies Howard Hughes' aversion to drinking and smoking; and they had direct, unlimited access to the king himself. They also never talked; one reporter described them as "men without mouths."
They were Hughes' so-called Mormon Mafia, the six gentlemen in waiting who were recruited by Summa Corp. Vizier Bill Gay, himself a Mormon... in the days preceeding Howard Hughes death the Mormon 6 administered via injection Howard Hughes addiction to pain drugs...rendering Howard Hughes incapable of making decisions...they then proceeded to takeover the Summa Corporation.

This smacks of the Mitt Romney BAIN Corporation and how they do Hostile Takeovers of businesses they invest in.

Is Mitt Romney John McCain 2.0?

The endorsement of Mitt Romney’s presidential bid by John McCain, the 2008 Republican nominee, was the latest indication that Romney is the GOP establishment’s heir apparent.
As Romney, who picked up McCain’s endorsement last week, appears to be gliding to a comfortable victory in New Hampshire’s primary Tuesday, the next major campaign stop, and the GOP establishment begins to rally behind him,he has still yet to capture the trust, energy, and esteem of many rank-and-file Republicans, let alone the Tea Party activists.
The prevailing wisdom among GOP establishmentarians and Romney backers may be:“Take it or leave it,it’s going to be Romney versus Barack Obama.” But if Romney is unable to energize his party’s base,he will suffer the same fate as McCain,a clear defeat.
McCain’s 2000 and 2008 bids for the Republican presidential nomination in many ways mirror the candidacy of Romney. In 2000 McCain was labeled the moderate or liberal candidate against George W. Bush. Some went so far to label him a RINO – Republican in Name Only.

Obama Raises More from Bain Than Romney

Bain Capital is in the news, obviously. That’s the investment outfit that Romney helped found. Do you know that, according to the Washington Post… this is from last fall, last October. “According to the Washington Post, Obama raised more campaign money from Bain Capital than Mitt Romney.” Bain Capital has contributed more money to Obama than they have to Romney. Got it right here. “According to the Washington Post,” and actually it’s a secondary story. It’s a Washington Examiner story from last October, but they are citing the Washington Post: “Obama raised more campaign money from Bain Capital than Mitt Romney.” Now, “Romney made his fortune working for Bain Capital, but only raised $34,000 in donations from 18 Bain employees.
Obama, however, has already raised $76,600 from just three employees” at Bain. Now, this was last fall. “Of course Obama can raise money for both his campaign and for the DNC, making it easier to raise more money from fewer donors.” But the bottom line is that for all this talk about Romney and Bain Capital, the majority of Bain Capital’s donations have gone to Obama, not to Romney.

Perry: South Carolina is not ‘our Alamo’

By Alicia M. Cohn - 01/10/12 03:21 PM ET
Rick Perry pushed back Tuesday on reports that South Carolina will be his campaign’s last stand in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.
"I'm not gonna play the game of 'what ifs' and 'what have yous.' Our intention is to win," Perry told reporters at a campaign stop in South Carolina, according to multiple reports. "This isn't our Alamo, this is our San Jacinto."
While the Texas defenders were mostly killed by Mexican troops during the battle of the Alamo, the battle of San Jacinto won the Texas Revolution with few Texas losses in 1836.

The Wall Street Journal found in a report published Monday that 22 percent of the 77 businesses Bain invested in while Romney led the firm either filed for bankruptcy reorganization or closed their doors by the end of the eighth year, sometimes with substantial job losses.

Another protest against Sheriff Joe fails

A protest against Arizona’s Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Gov. Jan Brewer organized by transplanted attorney-activist Randy Parraz yielded exactly one protestor today as the state legislature met in Phoenix to begin its 2012 regular session.
“Join Citizens for a Better Arizona as we send a message to our Governor and legislators that the Russell Pearce brand of divisive and extremist politics is over,” Parraz posted on his Facebook page, calling for protestors to join him at the state capitol Monday morning. Pearce was the state Senate president and Arpaio ally on immigration recalled last year in a campaign led by Parraz.
Observers on the scene reported Parraz’s group had a permit to assemble, and some 50 Arizona State Police were there.
The lone Parraz supporter, however, was outnumbered by some 50 counter-protesters carrying signs in favor of Arpaio and Brewer, including several who identified themselves as tea party members and a Hispanic supporter of legal immigration.

Bullying Laws Violate Freedom of Speech and Religion..!

I am not endorsing bullying and do believe it to be wrong.  However, I don’t agree with some of the new anti-bullying laws and rules being set forth by schools and states as they can be used to violate the First Amendment rights to free speech and the freedom of religion.  In some instances, there seems to be evidence that the Obama administration is using anti-bullying laws for the said purpose of suppressing one’s rights to express their own personal, political or religious beliefs.
In Tennessee, several state legislatures along with a family organization, are trying to push for an amendment to the state’s anti-bullying law that would protect the First Amendment rights of student to express their religious and political views.
The bill’s sponsors, Sen Jim Tracey and Rep Vance Dennis, say the proposed amendment:
“Shall not be construed or interpreted to infringe upon the First Amendment rights of students and shall not prohibit their expression of religious, philosophical, or political views, provided, that such expression does not include a threat of physical harm to a student or damage to a student’s property.”

We Don’t Live Under Caesar

Thomas Paine, author of Common Sense, makes an often neglected point. Using Matthew 22:21 to support the claim that civil governments are not to be questioned or confronted by lesser magistrates or the people is misplaced and misunderstood.
Israel was under the domination of Rome. We don’t live under Caesar today, and the Americans didn’t live under Caesar in the eighteenth century. Their dispute with the British monarchy and Parliament was over contractual issues. England had violated an agreement made by two sovereign powers and governments. Actually, in terms of the states, there had been multiple violations because there were 13 state governments.
Paine has an extended discussion of Judges 8:22–23 where he describes “the King of Heaven” to be Israel’s “proper sovereign.” He then spends several pages quoting, discussing, and making application of the importance of 1 Samuel 8 to the modern situation. He concludes this section of Common Sense with these words: “In short, monarchy and succession have laid (not this or that kingdom only) by the world in blood and ashes. ’Tis a form of government which the word of God bears testimony against, and blood will attend it.”

Why Republicans are the Real Problem

“Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know” is a popular proverb. It is better to deal with a person or thing you know, even if you do not like them, than to deal with a new thing or person who could be even worse.
We know the platform of the Democrats is bad and we expect the Republicans to be the guardians of our constitutional principles. The problem is, too many Republicans are equally bad and we don’t do enough about it. In the end, we still end up with devils – the Republicans.
Republicans want their committee chairmanships back so they can spend our money in ways different from the Democrats, but spend it they will.
Where were the Republicans in defending our liberties against the latest attack on our liberties? It was John McCain – a Republican – in March of 2010 who introduced a bill in the Senate that would allow U.S. citizens to be arrested and detained indefinitely, all without Miranda rights or ever being charged with a crime if they were suspected of terrorism.
As you know, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDDAA) passed with overwhelming Republican support.

Rick Perry To Tea Party: I’m Your Man!

It appears, based on this moment in this morning’s “Meet the Press” debate in New Hampshire, that Gov. Rick Perry’s South Carolina strategy involves energizing and coalescing the tea party vote.

The Sheriff Has More Power In His County Than The President Of The United States:

The “supremacy clause” is dealt with in Mack/Printz, in which the U.S. Supreme Court stated once and for all, that the only thing “supreme” is the Constitution itself. Where by the powers, the Sheriff reigns supreme above the president.

Does there remain any governmental Horatius who can stand in the gap; who can lead the Battle for America and restore the Constitution? There is. Lock and load, mount up and prepare for the return of the Sheriff.

UPDATE: An Alabama Court has announced that it will hear arguments as to whether Barack Hussein Obama II is in fact eligible to appear on the State Presidential Primary Ballot.

Several Alabama citizens have filed a lawsuit within the Alabama Circuit Court to "prevent certification of President Barack Obama for 2012 Alabama ballot access pending final hearing based on factual evidentiary hearings."

The deadline for any candidate to register to appear on the Alabama Presidential Primary ballot is just days away, but by agreeing to hear the case, the Alabama Courts have effectively stalled any efforts by the Democratic Party to place Obama on the ballot.

Just as important is the fact that the Court did indeed accept the case. By agreeing to hear the case, the Court appears to have recognized that the defendants, ordinary Alabama citizens, do in fact have standing. In many previous eligibility cases, courts have ruled that ordinary citizens did not have standing, in other words were not sufficiently harmed by the actions of the defendant and therefore had no legal right to bring their case before the courts.

The actions of this Alabama Court is a game changer in that the legal system has finally recognized that ordinary citizens CAN be harmed and DO have the right to protest unconstitutional actions committed at the highest levels of Federal government.
