Not long ago, Nevada Republicans were hoping to pick up a few seats in the Assembly this year but had little hope of gaining control of the 42-seat lawmaking body dominated by Democrats for decades.
But now, with the GOP racking up early-voting leads in more than a half-dozen Assembly districts in Clark County held by Democrats, Republicans have boosted efforts to help candidates in close Assembly races ahead of Tuesday’s election as they eye the possibility of taking over for the first time since 1985.
The GOP would have to pick up seven seats to win majority control of the Assembly, where Democrats now have a 27-15 seat advantage. Most insiders predict Republicans might win five to seven seats — unless Democrats make a strong comeback on Election Day. That could mean a 21-21 seat tie, as happened in 1995.

“We don’t have a crystal ball,” Minority Leader Pat Hickey, R-Reno, said Friday. “But obviously, early turnout numbers in both Clark County and certainly in the north are favoring Republicans. Consequently a number of seats are in play and we are engaged in races that even one month ago we didn’t think we’d be putting energy and resources into.”
Democrats said they think they will hold on, however, believing that voters side with them on the issues.
“Democrats are confident going into the elections on Tuesday because our candidates support what working-class Nevada families support; increased funding for education, an economy that thrives with investment and new industry, and a fair shot for everyone,” said Brendan Summers, executive director of the Assembly Democratic Caucus.

On the state Senate side, Republicans also hope to take control as the GOP leads balloting in three key races — Districts 8, 9 and 20 — that will decide if Democrats remain in charge. Democrats now hold an 11-10 advantage.
If Republicans gain a majority in one or both legislative houses, GOP Gov. Brian Sandoval will gain support to carry out his agenda, including bolstering education and economic development. Sandoval is expected to easily win re-election Tuesday over little-known Democrat Bob Goodman.
“We think Republicans certainly have the opportunity in the next Legislature to be the governing party there and apply some of the remedies and solutions we think Nevadans are looking for,” Hickey said.
As of Friday morning, Republicans had cast 22,297 more ballots than Democrats statewide. In Democrat-rich Clark County, GOP ballots outnumbered Democratic ballots by 1,554.

But higher turnout was expected Friday, the last day of early voting and a state holiday. As a result, all of the races could tighten before Election Day.
Republican balloting so far is running ahead of votes cast by Democrats in seven Assembly districts where GOP pickups are possible in Clark County. In the Sparks area, Democratic Assemblyman Skip Daly’s District 31 seat is in jeopardy. He faces a strong challenge from Republican Jill Dickman.
In Clark County, four Democratic incumbents were running behind the GOP in early voting, including Andy Eisen of District 21; Lesley Cohen of District 29; James Healey of District 35; and Paul Aizley of District 41.
The other open Assembly seats that could flip to Republicans are Districts 5, 9 and 34.
The GOP leads over Democratic ballots were all relatively small, however, ranging from 82 to 482. Also, some candidates could get more crossover votes than others, throwing most of the competitive races in the toss-up column.

The outcome of the Assembly election could be complicated by the outcome in two races in which judges have dis­qualified the Democratic candidates over residency issues, though their names remain on the ballot.
In District 34, Democrat Meghan Smith was disqualified and the judge ordered signs posted at polling places to inform voters. Republican Victoria Seaman has a chance to win the district, where 82 more GOP than Democrat ballots have been cast so far.
In District 10, Democrat Jesse “Jake” Holder was ruled ineligible, but his GOP opponent Shelly Shelton could still lose the race. So far, 482 more Democratic ballots have been cast than Republican in the district.

If either ineligible candidate wins election, the Assembly can decide whether to seat the winner anyway or have the Clark County Commission appoint a Democrat replacement. After the last election, Democrats in Carson City seated Assemblyman Andrew Martin even though he was ruled ineligible, with only token Republican resistance.
One GOP insider said that if Democrats retain the Assembly majority and seat a disqualified candidate, Republicans would likely mount a legal challenge this time. If the GOP is in charge, the County Commission would be asked to pick a replacement.
In 1995, with the Assembly split 21-21, Republicans and Democrats decided to share leadership, electing co-speakers Democrat Joe Dini and Republican Lynn Hettrick and naming co-chairs for all committees.
While a tie could again occur, the fallout might be different. At least one Democratic Assemblyman, Harvey Munford of Las Vegas, said several GOP assembly­men had invited him to caucus with them, effectively breaking the tie in favor of the Republicans.

Munford, 74, who is termed out after the next session, said he’s considering the idea because Democratic leaders have never given him a chairmanship despite his seniority.
“They (Republicans) said the door is open,” Munford said. “In the Democratic caucus I’ve never been given the respect I deserve after so many years of service. This is my swan song and I want an opportunity to be part of leadership, so to speak.”

Theft: As “calibration errors” switch votes in Illinois and Maryland, an election watchdog group sues the latter over massive voting by noncitizens in one county after discovering voters registered in multiple states.
The fact that many people will do anything to get out of jury duty has exposed massive fraudulent voting in Frederick County, Md., that may have been going on for years. Illegal aliens who stated they were noncitizens on jury duty forms were found to have cast votes in elections.
The Virginia Voters Alliance (VVA) cross-checked jury duty forms with individual voting records and found that hundreds of voters in that one Maryland county cast votes after reporting they were noncitizens. One in seven Maryland residents are noncitizens, so extrapolating the number of possibly illegal votes cast in recent elections over the entire state hints at possible election-changing fraud

Maryland is one of many states that in the process of making it easier to vote has also made vote fraud easier to commit. Maryland both issues driver’s licenses to illegal aliens and has a Motor Voter law that allows that license to be used to register and vote.
The VVA filed suit Friday in U.S. District Court in Maryland asserting that individuals who opted out of jury duty as noncitizens have been able to cast votes in at least three Maryland elections.
Based on the number of these unqualified voters in Frederick County, it is estimated that up to 7% of Maryland’s registered voters could be illegal immigrants, enough to swing elections.

TIJUANA — A Mexican federal district judge in Tijuana on Friday ordered the immediate release of a U.S. Marine veteran behind bars in Baja California on federal weapons charges.

Andrew Tahmooressi was on trial for crossing the border with ammunition and three loaded weapon on March 31. The Mexican Attorney General’s Office agreed to cease its prosecution of Tahmooressi and allow him to return to the United States.

The agreement brings to a close a high-profile case that has resounded far beyond the border. In the United States, it has prompted calls for his release from politicians, veterans groups, conservative talk show hosts. But for months there had been an impasse, as Mexican federal prosecutors insisted that the case be resolved through the courts -- not through diplomatic or political pressure.  

Tahmooressi, 26, claims that he drove into Tijuana by mistake on a Monday night after taking a wrong turn near the Mexican border in San Ysidro. He recently had moved from Florida to San Diego, and says that he was driving out of a parking lot, intending to head north. But instead he drove into the El Chaparral Port of Entry, where Mexican customs inspectors examined his pickup truck and found more 400 rounds of ammunition and three loaded firearms: a .45-caliber pistol, a 12-gauge shotgun and a 5.56mm assault rifle.

His release from El Hongo State Penitentiary outside Tecate was ordered by Judge Victor Octavio Luna Escobedo of the Sixth Federal District Court in Tijuana. Had Tahmooressi been convicted, he would have faced from seven to 21 years behind bars.

The judge declined to comment, saying any statements would come from Mexico’s Federal Judicial Council. A statement from the council said that the judge ordered dismissal of the charges on petition of federal prosecutors and ordered his “immediate and absolute liberty.”

According to one Mexican official familiar with the case, the grounds for the dismissal were that he is unfit to stand trial because he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.  

U.S. Rep. Ed Royce, R-Fullerton, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, which held a hearing last month on the case, called Tahmooressi's release great, but overdue, news.

"I am pleased that both Attorney General Jesús Murillo Karam and the judge on the case recognize that Sgt. Tahmooressi did not intend to violate Mexican law, and that his combat-related PTSD should be treated by specialists in the United States," he said in a statement.

Even though the U.S. State Department reports that dozens of U.S. citizens are arrested each month for violating Mexico’s gun laws, few if any cases have gotten such wide attention.

Tahmooressi’s situation initially elicited little public sympathy in Mexico, where there is no constitutional right to bear arms. A headline last May in the Tijuana newsweekly, Zeta read: "He did not enter Mexico in error." But his detention did strike a nerve with some sectors in the United States intent on seeing him released. 

Portraying Tahmooressi as a U.S. war hero unjustly detained in a foreign country, they invoked his military service — two tours of duty in Afghanistan with the U.S. Marines, with an honorable discharge in 2012, and stressed that Tahmooressi needed to return to the United States for treatment. Shortly before his arrest he had been diagnosed with PTSD and started treatment at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in La Jolla.

SHERIFFS ASSOCIATION CALLS FOR GREENE COUNTY, ILLINOIS SHERIFF ROB MCMILLEN TO RESIGN

The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) has called for the resignation of Greene County, Illinois Sheriff Rob McMillen after he personally initiated an unsubstantiated felony charge against Luke Lamb, who is his opponent in the upcoming election. Lamb is campaigning as a “constitutional sheriff’s candidate” and is a member of CSPOA. The case, which involved alleged jury tampering, was resolved in court on October 24^th, with a unanimous jury verdict of acquittal.
The charge of jury tampering involved Lamb’s Facebook chat with a close friend who had been called to jury duty earlier that morning. This discussion took place before the juror was assigned to a particular case, so he knew nothing about the specific type of trial that would take place later in the day. Lamb referred his friend to the website of the Fully Informed Jury Association (fija.org), which educates citizens about the recognized right of a juror to judge both the law and the facts of the case. According to recognized legal authorities, including US Supreme Court justices, the juror has the power to acquit if he or she believes that the law under which the defendant is charged is itself unjust. And any citizen has a First Amendment right to express his views about this topic, which is often called “jury nullification”.

Sheriff McMillen apparently was contacted by one of his deputies and informed of the Facebook conversation, whereupon McMillen personally obtained copies of that conversation from a friend who was a chief of police. McMillen then, without any investigation at all, and without assigning someone else to investigate, personally wrote a departmental report and sent the information to the state’s attorney’s office, under his signature. The state’s attorney then assigned it to a special prosecutor. To date, CSPOA is unable to find any report on an investigation by the special prosecutor.
Eventually the charge, a class 4 felony under Illinois law, was filed. According to Lamb, after the depositions and case preparation for trial, the prosecution offered several plea deals, the last of which amounted to something akin to texting while driving, a misdemeanor of negligible import. Lamb refused them all and took his case to trial.
According to Sheriff Richard Mack (Ret.), Founder and President of CSPOA, “This case has all the markings of a political hit. If it wasn’t so serious it would be hilarious.” Said Mack, “Sheriff McMillen, to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest, could have, and should have recused himself, referring the information to an outside agency from the very start, if he thought there was any basis for charges. Looking at the Facebook posts, I don’t think any investigator who didn’t have a political motive, would have brought charges against Luke Lamb.”

After reviewing the facts, documents and published reports in this case, including Sheriff McMillen’s testimony and media interviews after the verdict, it’s clear that this is an example of Unconstitutional misconduct by an official who has sworn an oath to protect citizen’s rights, according to Sheriff Mack. “Sheriff McMillen has violated his oath, his constituent’s rights, and tarnished the badge of a peace officer. We therefore call for Sheriff McMillen to resign his position immediately. Further, if he does not, we urge the voters of Greene County to remove him from office at the ballot box in the upcoming election.”

Bill of Rights: Even One Obama Has Not Violated? Pt 1

It’s not exactly a newsflash, and, ironically, that in itself is stunning. Stop and think about it. We have a man occupying the Oval Office who is on the record as being openly hostile to the U.S. Constitution. Twice he put his hand on a Bible, and took the oath to “preserve, protect and defend” our precious founding charter, despite brazenly stating that he considers it something from which we needed to “break free.” (Hear the whole quote in Obama’s own words to a local public radio station in 2001, and watch the video here.)

In 2012, he decided to double down, and use not one, but two, Bibles, one which at one time belonged to Abraham Lincoln, which among other outrages committed by this clown, account for the fact that at this point, Pres. Lincoln’s corpse is spinning so fast that you could cut meat on it.
How exactly does a man lie so brazenly, so openly rub our noses in his contempt for our country, our Constitution, and for every patriotic American? It’s simple. He’s a radical leftist, and I am fond of reminding you, the Left lies. That’s how they roll. That’s not a bug in the left-wing program. It’s a feature. It’s essential to accomplish their objectives. In the immortal words of Saul Alinsky, “The third rule of ethics of means and ends is that in war the end justifies almost any means.”
That’s how the Left views the struggle to “remake” America, as war. They are adamantly opposed to war when it comes to our enemies, but they are enthusiastic warriors against this country. In the war against the Constitution, Barack Obama is one of the Left’s most exuberant and ardent combatants. 

Liberty-loving Americans cherish the first ten amendments of the Constitution, commonly known collectively as “The Bill of Rights,” which is probably why they have been particular targets of the Obama Regime. Is there even one that they have not blown their crypto-commie noses on? Consider the following:
The First Amendment protects the free exercise of religion, freedom of speech and the press, and “the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

“[The Obama] administration has been more challenging to the press, more restrictive, more dangerous to the press certainly than any administration in American history, in terms of legal investigations and so on. Access to the White House has just gotten worse and worse.” That’s not me talking. That’s Susan Page, a veteran member of the Jurassic media just this week. So much for that freedom of the press thing.

Of course, the Regime also went after Fox News‘ reporter James Rosen as a “co-conspirator” for simply doing his job as an investigative reporter. And let’s not forget that the Obama Regime has reduced so-called journalists to being shills and water carriers for Mr. Obama. Remember CNN‘s Candy Crowley’s disgusting lie during the October 2012 Presidential debate, in which she declared that Barack Obama had called the Benghazi attack “an act of terror” immediately after it happened?
The Obama administration also attempted to strong arm Hobby Lobby, and the Little Sisters of the Poor, an organization of nuns devoted to caring for the indigent elderly, into complying with its Obamacare abortifacient drug mandate in violation of their sincerely held religious beliefs.
As for right to petition the government, when concerned citizens decided to organize to express their distress over excessive government spending and the destruction of our health care system, the Obama administration unleashed the IRS against them.
So much for the First Amendment.

The Second Amendment protects the right of citizens to keep and bear arms.
The problem with this one is that Barack Obama does not believe that law-abiding citizens should be permitted to keep and bear arms. He tries to cover up that fact, but the evidence leaves no doubt. Like all leftists, he wants to disarm us so that we can be the compliant population of supplicants that are the dream subjects of every dictator.
Listen here to Prof. John Lott, author of More Guns, Less Crime, describe his interactions with Obama while they were both on the faculty of the University of Chicago Law School. It’s clear that Obama is not only hostile toward the 2nd amendment. He also doesn’t have any time for conversations with anyone who might have the effrontery to disagree with him.
On a 1996 questionnaire, Obama answered “yes” on a questionnaire from the group “Independent Voters of Illinois,” to the question “Do you support state legislation to: ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns?” He later claimed that the word “yes” on that questionnaire wasn’t in his handwriting.

Of course we know that Operation Fast and Furious, the gun walking scheme cooked up by Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder, was designed to gin up emotionally-driven outrage that would fuel calls for new control measures. Recently, when Mr. Holder, who has announced his desire to step down, was asked his greatest regret about his tenure, he replied, “I think the inability to pass reasonable gun safety laws after the Newtown massacre is something that weighs heavily on my mind.” Note that his greatest regret was the failure to pass more gun control, not the delivery of lethal weapons into the hands of Mexican drug cartels, which resulted in the murder of Border Agent Brian Terry.
Should we be surprised, since this is the same Eric Holder who once advocated “brain washing” the American public against guns?

EUROPE: Muslims Declare ‘Jihad’ On All Dogs

A Dutch Muslim politician has called for a ban on dogs in The Hague, the third-largest city in the Netherlands.
Islamic legal tradition holds that dogs are “unclean” animals, and some say the call to ban them in Holland and elsewhere represents an attempted encroachment of Islamic Sharia law in Europe.

This latest canine controversy — which the Dutch public has greeted with a mix of amusement and outrage — follows dozens of other Muslim-vs-dog-related incidents in Europe. Critics say it reflects the growing assertiveness of Muslims in Europe as they attempt to impose Islamic legal and religious norms on European society.
The Dutch dustup erupted after Hasan Küçük, a Turkish-Dutch representative on The Hague city council for the Islam Democrats, vehemently opposed a proposal by the Party for the Animals (Partij voor de Dieren) to make the city more dog friendly.
According to a January 28 report in the Amsterdam-based newspaper De Telegraaf, Küçük counter-argued that keeping dogs as pets is tantamount to animal abuse and he then called for the possession of dogs in The Hague to be criminalized.
According to its website, the Islam Democrats [ID] party is “founded on the Islamic principles of justice, equality and solidarity. ID is a bottom-up response to the large gap between the Muslim and immigrant communities and local politics…ID focuses on the political awareness within the Muslim and immigrant communities. Awareness about the need to organize, but also the need for mutual support.”
Paul ter Linden, who represents the Dutch Freedom Party (PVV) on The Hague city council, responded to Küçük by saying: “In this country pet ownership is legal. Whoever disagrees with this should move to another country.”

Hamas-CAIR Puts out Hit List Against Islamophobes

So. The Muslim Brotherhood front group Hamas-CAIR has decided to build and "islamophobic" website and design a hit list in the same manner as the Southern Poverty Law Center's "hate list." The new site is Islamophobia(dot)com.  
According to the website, "Islamophobia is closed-minded prejudice against or hatred of Islam and Muslims. An Islamophobe is an individual who holds a closed-minded view of Islam and promotes prejudice against or hatred of Muslims."
The problem with such an assertion is nicely summed up by Ned May of the International Civil Liberties Alliance (ICLA) when he said that to use the term "Islamophobia" is "a violation of logic."

He blasted the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) in 2013 saying that the word "fails solely to inclusion of the word 'unfounded.' Thus, well-founded fear, mistrust or hatred of Islam does not constitute Islamophobia."
He also went on to point out, "Millions of non-Muslims have very real reasons to fear Islam and Muslim violence, and cannot reasonably be described as 'Islamaphobes," he said. "Furthermore, any investigation into the fear of Islam, is denounced as 'Islamophobia.' Thus, the definition of Islamophobia is circular, a violation of logic."
This doesn't stop the irrational members of CAIR, who follow the murderous founder of Islam, Mohamed. The CAIR site also claims that it envisions "a time when being Muslim carries a positive connotation and Islam has an equal place among many faiths in America's pluralistic society."

Sorry, but Islam does not deserve an "equal" place among many faiths. In fact, the Bible teaches the only true faith. Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no man comes to the Father but by Him. He doesn't make room for "other" faiths. There is no king, but King Jesus!
Let's consider the closed-mindedness of Islam. Their own book shows that they are against Christians and all infidels (non-Muslim believers. Their own history demonstrates that they believe they are superior and that they have the right to destroy all those who will not name the name of Allah and recognize the demonically possessed, thieving, murderer Mohamed as a true prophet. Here’s what CAIR is really all about. Trust me, you will want to watch this.

The third President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, had to deal with the Islamists in the Barbary Wars, understanding that these people could not be reasoned with.
We've seen how the Europeans have appeased the followers of Islam, but many have recently taken to the streets to rid their land of these totalitarian devils. The question now is, when are Americans going to amass in the street to put this ideology where it belongs? As Dr. Rich Swier rightly points out, this is nothing more than a "hit list for Islamic State lone wolves," similar to the of the Southern Poverty Law Center, whose alleged "hate list" has been used to target conservative groups. The most recent target was the Family Research Council back in August of 2012, when gunman Floyd Lee Corkins II entered the FRC and planned on killing as many people as possible and smearing Chick-fil-a sandwiches in their faces because of their stance against homosexuality.

Funny, I don't see Corkins' name on the SPLC hate list, do you? He's their poster boy one would think. After all, he didn't do what he did out of love, did he? He did it out of… hate.

Babu Suseelani a member of the board of directors of Stop Islamization of Nations. In 2012 Suseelan told an audience "If we do not kill the bacteria, the bacteria will kill us. Muslims will breed like rats and they will be a majority."
Bill Maher Bill Maher hosts a political satire program, Real Time with Bill Maher, on HBO. Despite his claim to hold progressive opinions, Maher consistently demonizes and stigmatizes the Muslim community.
Brian Kilmeade A Fox News Channel commentator. In June 2013, Kilmeade told a leader of the English Defence League, an anti-Muslim group known for violent protests, "We got your back."
Brigitte Gabriel The head of Act for America. Gabriel has said, "America and the West are doomed to failure in this war unless they stand up and identify the real enemy: Islam."
Bryan Fischer The director of issues analysis at the American Family Association. According to Fischer, "Islam has no fundamental First Amendment claims, for the simple reason that it was not written to protect the religion of Islam."
Carl Goldberg A member of the Arizona chapter of Act for America. According to an announcement for an October 2013 event, Goldberg can prove that "Islam is not just a religion but also a totalitarian and imperialistic ideology."
Clare Lopez Lopez is the vice president for issues and analysis at the Center for Security Policy. She also a board member at the Clarion Project. In 2013, Lopez told an audience, "When people in other bona fide religions follow their doctrines they become better people — Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, Jews. When Muslims follow their doctrine, they become jihadists."
Cliff Kincaid A member of the board of directors of Stop Islamization of Nations. In 2013, the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate groups in the United States, listed Kincad among the "30 new activists heading up the radical right."
Constance Gavras The director of the Illinois chapter of Act for America.
Daniel Pipes The founder and director of the Middle East Forum. Pipes is also connected to the National Review, Clarion Project, and Washington Times. Pipes is the grandfather of Islamophobia in the United States. In 1990 he wrote, "Western European societies are unprepared for the massive immigration of brown-skinned peoples cooking strange foods and maintaining different standards of hygiene…All immigrants bring exotic customs and attitudes, but Muslim customs are more troublesome than most."
Dave Agema A former Michigan state legislator, Agema now represents his state as a national committeeman of the Republican National Committee. In early 2014, Agema made anti-Muslim comments on his Facebook account: "Have you ever seen a Muslim do anything that contributes positively to the American way of life?
David Horowitz The founder of the David Horowitz Freedom Center. The Southern Poverty Law Center, a group that tracks hate in the United States, names Horowitz "the godfather of the modern anti-Muslim movement."
David Yerushalmi A co-founder of the American Freedom Law Center and employee of the Center for Security Policy. Yerushalmi beleives, "Our greatest enemy today is Islam."
Debbie Anderson The leader of the Minneapolis chapter of ACT for America.
Debbie Robinson A member of the president's council of Stop Islamization of Nations. Robinson's Q Society of Australia asserts, "Islam is not just another religion, but also a totalitarian ideology with a global agenda."
Dorrie O'Brien O'Brien acts as a national mentor for ACT for America. According to O'Brien "Islam…is a poisoned well."
Frank Gaffney The founder and president of the Center for Security Policy. Gaffney is also connected to the Washington Times, and Clarion Project. Gaffney has advocated renewing the House Un-American Activities Committee, a discredited McCarthy-era congressional committee that President Truman once described as "the most un-American thing in the country today."
Glenn Beck Beck hosts the Glenn Beck show on the Blaze. In February, 2011, Beck hosted anti-Muslim speaker Joel Richardson on his Fox News program and the two "tied Islam to the Antichrist in the new testament."
Guy Rodgers The executive director of ACT for America. In 2010, Rodgers "contended that Muslims should be treated differently because their legal system is inherently flawed."
James Lafferty Originally known for his work with the Virginia Anti-Shariah Taskforce, Lafferty is now with both the American Freedom Defense Initiative and Jihad Watch.
State Rep. John Bennett of Oklahoma (R-Sallisaw) According to Bennett, Islam is "a cancer in our nation that needs to be cut out."
John Guandolo The founder of Understanding the Threat. Guandolo is a former FBI agent who trains law enforcement officers to believe in conspiracy theories such as his beleif that CIA Director Brennan is a secret Muslim.
Jonathan Matusitz The membership director for the central Florida chapter of Act for America and a professor at the University of Central Florida. Matusitz claims that Muslims "procreate like mushrooms after the rain" and that "the problem is Islam."
Kamal Saleem A board member of Former Muslims United. In October 2012, Right Wing Watch posted a video of Saleem and noted that in that video, "Saleem alleged that Obama's top speech writer and Sasha and Malia's babysitter are both Islamic fundamentalists that are wielding secret power."
Kevin Carroll A member of the president's council of Stop Islamization of Nations.
Lauren Green An anchor on the Fox News Channel.
Mano Bakh A key individual with the California group Concerned American Citizens. On its website, the group asserts, "The real source of the devastating 9/11 attack is the Islamic Ideology as prescribed in Quran."
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) A Minnesota Republican, Bachmann is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. In June 2012, Bachmann led a group of House Republicans on a series of five letters to federal inspectors alleging that the Muslim Brotherhood was infiltrating the U.S. government. The allegations primarily centered on an aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and were soundly rejected by Republican leadership. 
Mike Huckabee A host on the Fox News Channel and former governor of Arkansas. Huckabee referred to Islam as the "antithesis of the gospel of Christ." He also seemed to compare Muslim prayer being allowed in a church to the showing of pornographic films.
Nina Cunningham Cunningham serves on the boards of many anti-Islam organizations, including the Center for Security Policy, the David Horowitz Freedom Center, and also the Clarion Project.
Nonie Darwish A founder of Former Muslims United. Darwish asserts that "Islam should be fought and should be conquered and defeated and annihilated."
Oskar Freysinger A member of the board of directors of Stop Islamization of Nations. He played a leading role in the movement to ban Islamic minarets in Switzerland.
Pamela Geller The cautic mouthpiece of the U.S. Islamophobia network, Geller believes, "Hitler was inspired by Islam."She blogs atAtlas Shrugs and is a leader with the American Freedom Defense Initiative, Jihad Watch, and Stop the Islamization of Nations. Note: Geller also heads Stop Islamization of America, but this entity is identified as an AFDI project.
Rep. Peter King (R-.N.Y.) Peter King represents a district centered in New York's, Long Island. He served as chairman of the U.S. House Homeland Security Committee from 2010-2012. King has maintained that "80%, 85% of the mosques in this country are controlled by Islamic fundamentalists," and that average Muslims "are loyal," but "don't come forward, they don't tell the police what they know". Additionally in 2007, Representative King said, "Unfortunately, we have too many mosques in this country."
Richard Swier Swier is the director of the Sarasota, Fla. chapter of ACT for America.
Rick Joyner Joyner is the president of the Oak Initiative. He is also the founder/director of Morningstar Ministries and the founder/director of Heritage National Ministries. He has authored more than forty books. His book The Harvest lays out some of his views on Islam: "Islamic terrorists will permeate the West with teams that target Christian organizations and leaders. This is in preparation for an Islamic assault upon the entire world. They will compile computer data on every Christian leader who has any kind of extra-local influence (i.e. newsletters, television or radio outreach).
Robert "Raphael" Shore A member of Clarion Project's board of directors.
Robert Spencer A prolific member of the U.S. Islamophobia network, Spencer runs the Jihad Watch web site and is also connected with the David Horowitz Freedom Center, the American Freedom Defense Initiative, and Stop Islamization of Nations. Spencer has referred to Islam's Prophet Muhammad as a "con man. Someone who is knowing [sic] that what he is saying is false, but is fooling his followers." In the same video he asserts, "From a historical standpoint, it is not even clear that Muhammad existed."
Roger Ailes Ailes is the president and CEO of Fox News Channel. According to a source who spoke to Rolling Stone, "He has a personal paranoia about people who are Muslim — which is consistent with the ideology of his network."
Ryan Mauro Mauro is a staff member at the Clarion Project.
Sam Kharoba Kharoba is the founder of the Counter Terrorism Operations Center. He claims to have trained "over 20,000 federal, state and local law enforcement officers. Kharoba has no formal academic degrees in Islamic studies and no experience in law enforcement. His only claim of any qualification is that he has a pre-university level certificate in Arabic culture, but Arabic culture is not Islam; in fact, only 20 percent of the world's Muslims are Arabs. Upon review, it was found that large sections of Kharoba's training manual were word-for-word identical to unreliable web-based sources. The investigation found his most common source was Wikipedia.
Scott Saunders Saunders is affilliated with the Virginia Beach, Va. chapter of Act for America.
Shalom Lewis Shalom Lewis is a cleric at the Congregation Etz Chaim synagogue in Marietta, Georgia. Etz Chaim's website states Lewis "generates a caring warmth", but his hateful speech about Islam is alarming and barbaric.
Stephanie Reis Reis is the Virginia State Director for Act for America. In 2010, as part of her welcome message for ACT's Oklahoma chapter, Reis wrote, "The ideology, politics and religion of Islam has one purpose – to bring the world into submission to Islam and under its laws."
Stephen Coughlin Now a fellow at the Center for Security Policy, Coughlin holds the beleif that belief that Islam "obligates Muslims to use violence in the name of spreading or defending the faith."
Steven Crowder A Fox News Channel commentator, Crowder alleges "the real problem is the Quran."
Steven Emerson The founder of the Investigative Project on Terrorism. Upon reviewing a book he wrote, the New York Times determined that Emerson has "an unfamiliarity with the Middle East and a pervasive anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian bias".
Timothy Wildmon The president of the American Family Association, Wildmon has said, "[Islam] is, in fact, a religion of war, violence, intolerance, and physical persecution of non-Muslims."
Tommy Robinson A member of the president's council of Stop Islamization of America. Founder of the English Defence League (EDL), Robinson was jailed in 2013 for "having entered the United States illegally using someone else's passport" and again in 2014 for mortgage fraud.
Tom Trento Trento is the founder and director of The United West. He believes mosques exist to wage a "cultural jihad" against America.
Usama Dakdok According to the web site of Dakdok's Straight Way of Grace Ministry one of the group's goals is to "expose Islam for what it is, and yes it is worse than a cancer, and this can be shown clearly in the reading of the Qur'an and theHadith."
Wafa Sultan Sultan is connected to both Former Muslims United and Stop Islamization of Nations. She says, "I don`t see any difference between radical Islam and regular Islam…You cannot be American and Muslim at the same time."
Walid Shoebat The founder of the Forum for Middle East Understanding, Shoebat is the author of "The case for Islamophobia," a book published in March 2013. Shoebat's training and speaking events are promoted using his credentials and his "background" as a former PLO terrorist who converted to Christianity. In 2011, CNN researchers "found no evidence" to support Shoebat's trademark claim of being a "former PLO terrorist."
Former Lieutenant General William Boykin A board member of the Oak Initiative. Boykin asserts that "[Islam] should not be protected under the First Amendment," that there should be "no mosques in America," that Islam is a "totalitarian way of life," and that there can be no interfaith dialogue or cooperation between Muslims and Christians.
Zuhdi Jasser Jasser is founder and president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy and a board member of the Clarion Project under Jasser's leadership, AIFD is embedded with groups that are dedicated to spreading false information, fear, and distrust of Islam and Muslims.
While I cannot speak as to who all of these people are, one thing is for sure, this is nothing more than intimidation against them. Hamas-CAIR be warned that if any of these people are attacked physically in any way, you will be held accountable for it. I can tell you this though, since it is a hit list, I stand alongside such men as Marine veteran Nick Powers, who said if there is an attack on us, "there will be no mercy." Election News Worsens for the Democrats; Millennials Want Republicans in Charge

Is the era of liberalism closing? We can only hope.

We’re a week away from the big election and we have news in that regard. You know, I haven’t spent a lot of time — I’ve spent some but, you know, I’ve not gone wall-to-wall on the election and polls and all of that up until now because it really hasn’t meant much. Now it starts. The polling data and all of the reporting on the election, it’s about now, particularly in midterm elections, that you can begin to, I don’t know, trust at least more than, say, a week ago, a month ago, two months ago especially. 



The news as we get closer to the election is worsening for the Democrats and it, of course, begs the question. Has it always been bad and the Drive-Bys are trying to cover it up? That’s my vote. I think polling data up until a week or two before the election is designed to shape public opinion. But then when we get close they have to maintain their credibility, so the polling data reflects reality rather than their attempt to shape the outcome.

That’s why you pay a little bit more — well, you pay attention all you want, but this is why what’s happening now, what’s being reported now carries a little bit more weight than, say, something a month ago, and certainly six months ago. Six months ago was just an exercise in futility in terms of being able to call the outcome, or even have some sort of indication. And the news, as you’ll hear today, continues to worsen for Democrats in a number of states where they were thought not long ago to be locks. And there’s panic setting in on the Democrat side in a number of places.

Massive Non-Citizen Voting Uncovered

Amazing. Liberals keep going on about how fraud doesn’t exist. That is because it is rampant and how they win.
Check it out:
An election integrity watchdog group is suing the state of Maryland, alleging that it has discovered massive and ongoing fraudulent voting by non-U.S. citizens in one county. But because of the way that the non-citizens are able to cast votes in elections, the fraud is likely happening in every single county and subdivision across the state. The group believes that the illegal voting has been happening for years. 

The group, Virginia Voters Alliance, says that it compared how voters in Frederick County filled out jury duty statements compared with their voting records. The group’s investigation found that thousands of people in Frederick County who stated that they are not U.S. citizens on jury duty forms went on to cast votes in elections. Either they failed to tell the truth when they were summoned for jury duty, or they cast illegal votes. Both are crimes. The same group previously found that about 40,000 people are registered to vote in both Virginia and Maryland. 

It is a federal crime to cast votes if you are not legally eligible to vote. Non-citizens, whether in the country legally or not, are prohibited from voting in most local and all state and federal elections. Yet the VVA investigation found that hundreds of non-citizens have been voting in Frederick County, Maryland. One in seven Maryland residents are non-U.S. citizens.
“The lawsuit is the equivalent of the lookout spotting the iceberg ahead of the Titanic,” state Del. Pat McDonough told the Tatler. He added that the group’s investigation found a voter fraud “smoking gun.”
Maryland state law makes it easier for non-citizens, both those present legally and those in the country against the law, to vote. Maryland issues drivers licenses to legal and illegal aliens. Driver’s licenses in turn make it easier under the Motor Voter law to register to vote. Maryland also offers copious taxpayer-funded social programs to non-citizens in the state.
The group filed suit in Baltimore’s U.S. District Court on Friday. They are suing the Frederick County Board of Elections and the Maryland State Board of Elections.

PUBLIC MENACE: Political Correctness Threatens People

This is a fine mess the Administration and their ilk have gotten us into. Obama can barely utter the word “terror”. Meanwhile, we have been engaged against the “enemy” in a war on something or other during his entire time in office. Shall we call it the “War (Regrettably) Against People We Find Doing Things We Find Highly Undesirable In Certain Questionable Circumstances, But Without Wishing To Impugn Their Intent, All of Which We Find Most Unfortunate”? Silly, Huh?
I heard someone had said it is “racist” to prevent people from entering our country from Liberia. I suppose this is because the people from Liberia are coming from an African nation…which has black people in it, ergo, quarantining passengers from Liberia is “racist.” This logic is flawed and will only appear valid to the impenetrably stupid, or those citizens of Freebie Nation who walk among us (ie, Two-Time Obama Voters).
I heard some dolt interviewed on TV a day ago who said “Those people [who want to come to United States] have a right to come here.” No “they” don’t. This logic is also seriously underthought and fatally flawed. (“Fatally” being the operative word.)

Obama’s suggestion that Ebola victims be allowed to come to our shores so they can be treated is also fatally idiotic. I did not confirm these words came out of Obama’s mouth, but I’m sure he or some liberal/socialist like him said it and, doubtless, he believes it. We don’t have the facilities to receive the possibly infected people. We don’t have enough doctors. At least not enough doctors who are willing to assume the personal risk.
When I saw the press conference last night, wherein the Governor of New York and the Mayor of NYC both assured us that all is in hand, I was not comforted. I had just read an article in the New Yorker magazine about the beginning of the current Ebola outbreak in West Africa. The magazine is a typical liberal rag, I read for the cartoons, but the article was very informative, and contrary to the two august New York politicians just mentioned, stated that Ebola can be transmitted by airborne means. It survives in liquids, such as mucous, which can travel in small droplets for several yards when launched by a sneeze. The article also pointed out how, when airborne in a droplet, the liquid can evaporate, leaving the virus attached to the small particulate that remains when any droplet evaporates. In testing, such particulates have been found to travel the distance of half a football field.

It is obvious from the information-failure of CDC and the apparent disagreement of information available to us all, this whole thing is still pretty murky. Making things worse, is the fact that some infected doctors are certain they followed protocol and are completely puzzled how they contracted the virus.
Not being an alarmist, I’m still going to attend football games, floating particulates notwithstanding. However, I hope someone can tell me which end of the field to sit on.
A quick word about the axe-wielding TERRORIST who emerged from whatever sludge filled hole he lives in, in order to attack a perfect stranger with an axe. Like you, I saw the video of the one second before he struck his victim in the head. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. I know our President finds it terribly offensive when anyone engages in “profiling” (which is not tantamount to imputing guilt…only juries can do that). He’s a little overly sensitive in my opinion and sooner or later this politically correct crap and all it’s progeny (ie, “profiling”) will get lots of us killed. It already has, by way of the “rules of engagement” in the above mentioned “War On Terror.”

This opinion about political correctness does not make me a racist (except in the minds of race-baiters who profit from condemning those who disagree with them). I do not espouse returning to the days when the “N” word was widely employed (particularly by Democrats who so long opposed the Civil Rights legislation of the 1960s). (See LBJ and Robert Byrd …long time member of the KKK…which was rationalized recently by Bill Clinton.)
I am simply advocating a return to some common sense. The mayor of NYC recently halted “stop and frisk” practices which had nearly stopped most crime in the City, particularly “poor sections” which may not here be construed as a “racist buzzword” or phrase. Profiling was probably heavily utilized by the NYC cops. If some young guy is loitering in a high crime neighborhood and he’s carrying a crow bar or some other burglar’s implement…check him out! Knowing the cops are engaged in such practices will, alone, be a strong deterrent to crime.
It is said that the intent to commit murder (which distinguishes “first degree” murder from “second degree”) can be formed in an instant. The guy visible in the axe-wielding video is right out of central casting. Young, male, heavy beard, looked odiferous, aiming the business edge of an axe at some person’s head, etc…. he was spot on. If I see him coming at me with axe raised…I’m profiling him in “an instant” and my .45 auto and I will take necessary action.

Europe is different from the U.S. in which political activism either takes on extremist left wing or ultra conservative right wing forms. The media on the left says that these groups end up uniting with neo-Nazis and fascists while others say that the German media is demonizing the movement with the usual “Nazi” slur.
Despite the ridicule, soccer clubs have held meetings in at least three other cities, Monchengladbach, Hannover and Mannheim, to promote unity in the fight against the Islamification of Germany.

In Germany, “Hooligans gegen Salafisten” appears to be a growing broad spectrum anti-Islamification movement.
Hooligan culture is on the rise again in Germany. Fan commissioners from Aachen, Braunschweig, Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt report that hooligans who were active as long ago as the 1990s are once again rising and are on the increase in what the media portrays as “right-wing motivated behavior”.
On Twitter, users tweeting under the #hogesa tag have written, “This movement must never rest until we are finally in charge of our own country again.” One woman wrote, “Germany is finally waking up,” while another tweet included a German flag bearing the words, “We don’t want a [Muslim] theocracy.”
Rainer Wendt, chair of the German Police Union, claims that the hooligan groups and the right-wing scene more generally are merely exploiting the topic of Salafism in Germany in order to mobilize their sympathizers and attract new supporters. Wendt adds that such groups’ frequent assertion that the German state is failing in its fight against Islamists is “nonsense,” saying, “What these people don’t accept is that we’re using legal means to address the matter rather than crowbars.”

They even have a song Hooligans gegen Salafisten (Hooligans Against [Muslim] Salafists) and one can decipher “Muhammad” “Caliphate” “Sharia” “Taliban” and “Muslim” and you get the picture. What Europeans are saying is that “we had enough”:

As Boston police Captain Haseeb Hosein, a former science teacher and a firm believer in the power of reading, assumes leadership in Mattapan as the department’s first Muslim captain, he plans to have his officers walking not only the streets, but school hallways.
“I want my guys to go into the schools and spend 30 minutes and read” with a child, said Hosein, 52, who received his captain’s shield Wednesday in a ceremony at police headquarters. “I hate that police officers are always the bad guy. We should be an asset.”
Hosein’s promotion makes him the highest-ranking Muslim in the department, according to a police spokesman, and one of three minority captains .

“The promotion to captain of Haseeb Hosein goes directly to my commitment of making the police department more reflective of the community we serve,” Police Commissioner William Evans said in a statement. “It is both historic and an honor for me to promote the first black Muslim captain to my command staff.”

An American jihad would reawaken in American citizens the certain knowledge that our Constitution is a sacred document that better defines and preserves the liberty and autonomy of human beings than the charter of any other nation on earth.
The Constitution, along with the miracle of our nation’s founding and the providential history of America fighting and winning war after war against oppressive regimes, proves our manifest destiny not only to preserve our borders and safety and national character at home, but to spread around the world our love of individual freedom and insist on its reflection in every government.

An American jihad would embrace the correct belief that if every nation on earth were governed by freely elected leaders and by our Constitution, the world would be a far better place. And an American jihad would not only hope for this outcome, but work toward it.

State legislatures are sworn to uphold the Constitution and are obligated to defend the rights of the people and protect the sovereign authority of the states.
A Convention of States could propose and vote (one vote per state) on amendments to severely limit government on three fronts: Terms of office, jurisdiction and fiscal policies.

If there was a word, if there was a word that I would attach to the news today, it would be “clarity.” Some things are starting to come into focus. Well, to people like you and me they have been in focus for a long time, but that focus and that clarity is starting to be reflected in the Drive-Bys as they continue to spin for what they now obviously believe is gonna be a pretty big Republican win one week from today.
I know some of you might think, “Hey, Rush, don’t be fooled. They’re sandbagging.” I don’t think so, folks. I think they’ve given it their best shot and now we’re a week out and they have to be focused and concerned with their credibility.


CNN poll: “Voters Are Angry.” Seventy percent of Americans are angry at the direction the country’s headed. Fifty-three percent disapprove of Obama’s job performance. These numbers continue to worsen. The news on Ebola today, in the Washington Post: “No Unity Over Ebola Monitoring of Travelers.” There isn’t any unity. There is no singular policy. It is an absolute joke, and the reason it’s an absolute joke is because of Obama.
You know, I joked yesterday we needed to quarantine Governor Christie. It turns out actually we need to quarantine Barack Obama. And apparently the Ebola czar is already in quarantine ’cause we can’t find the guy, Ron Klain. Although did you tell me there was a rumored sighting of the Ebola czar yesterday? (interruption) Well, that’s true. The Ebola czar’s fingerprints — Elizabeth Warren is out there accusing Governor Christie of politicizing this. If anybody’s politicizing the Ebola response, it’s the Regime by hiring Klain, who doesn’t know a thing about Ebola or anything related to health.
It was Ron Klain who sent that message out yesterday that Governor Cuomo, Governor Christie are off the reservation and not behaving and not following national orders on this. Elizabeth Warren has picked up on that, and she’s trying to make that claim as well.
