If there was a word, if there was a word that I would attach to the news today, it would be “clarity.” Some things are starting to come into focus. Well, to people like you and me they have been in focus for a long time, but that focus and that clarity is starting to be reflected in the Drive-Bys as they continue to spin for what they now obviously believe is gonna be a pretty big Republican win one week from today.
I know some of you might think, “Hey, Rush, don’t be fooled. They’re sandbagging.” I don’t think so, folks. I think they’ve given it their best shot and now we’re a week out and they have to be focused and concerned with their credibility.
CNN poll: “Voters Are Angry.” Seventy percent of Americans are angry at the direction the country’s headed. Fifty-three percent disapprove of Obama’s job performance. These numbers continue to worsen. The news on Ebola today, in the Washington Post: “No Unity Over Ebola Monitoring of Travelers.” There isn’t any unity. There is no singular policy. It is an absolute joke, and the reason it’s an absolute joke is because of Obama.
You know, I joked yesterday we needed to quarantine Governor Christie. It turns out actually we need to quarantine Barack Obama. And apparently the Ebola czar is already in quarantine ’cause we can’t find the guy, Ron Klain. Although did you tell me there was a rumored sighting of the Ebola czar yesterday? (interruption) Well, that’s true. The Ebola czar’s fingerprints — Elizabeth Warren is out there accusing Governor Christie of politicizing this. If anybody’s politicizing the Ebola response, it’s the Regime by hiring Klain, who doesn’t know a thing about Ebola or anything related to health.
It was Ron Klain who sent that message out yesterday that Governor Cuomo, Governor Christie are off the reservation and not behaving and not following national orders on this. Elizabeth Warren has picked up on that, and she’s trying to make that claim as well.
