Sarah Palin Drops BOMB After O’Reilly Is Fired: Why Would Women Who Are Sexually Harassed Stick Around for a Paycheck?

Sarah Palin Drops BOMB After O'Reilly Is Fired: Why Would Women Who Are Sexually Harassed Stick Around for a Paycheck?

oped: First and foremost I totally agree with Sarah Palin on her opinion. However I will take it a step further.
I'm gonna be blunt, open and honest... something missing in this fiasco of he said she said! Let's get real here folks this is nothing new this culture has been going on since Adam and Eve.
Women flirt and men flirt it's called the mating game and it also extends into the work place..Women flirt with the boss in order to obtain a hire, promotions as well as retention...they play the game well and take advantage of the situation... especially if they are above average in looks.
As Sarah noted why did they not complain when it happened or leave if they didn't like it, but stay on for years and years collecting promotions and a pay check? Well it's simple really, as they began to age, a new generation entered the work force they were no longer the center of attention. And then here comes the accusations of harrassment...they feel spurned and want revenge!

Let's face the facts woman are known for being catty (especially when dealing with each other)...they respond to most situations based on emotions. Most women I know have said they would rather have a man as a boss than a women because they know most are catty!
Both parties are guilty to some extent...yes most men think with the head below the belt when dealing with women they find attractive...I would also venture to say this also applies to women as well... only difference being is men show it...women hide it...if'n ya get my drift!

While this applies to all places of employment the entertainment/media world is the most odious culture...think the proverbial 'CastingCouch' this is not a myth...it is real, and how many film super stars as well as News Media Anchors consented to get their start and a shot at the proverbial Hollywood Star?...Not all mind ya but many did and all entering this field are aware of how the game is played! So please folks don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining...I ain't buying all this false outrage!

I'm sorry but this has become a case of "Harper Valley PTA" and all involved Hypocrits!

Thats my two cents take it or leave it!

The news of the week is that the king of cable news is no longer with Fox News following allegations of sexual harassment and some higher ups at the network who clearly weren’t fans of his.
Plenty of people on both sides of the aisle are weighing in.
Gov. Sarah Palin, one of the biggest names there is in conservative circles, gave her two cents on the subject and let’s just say liberal heads are guaranteed to explode.

From Washington Examiner:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says the corporate culture needs to change at her former employer Fox News.
“Corporate culture there obviously has to change. You know, women don’t deserve – they should not ever have to put up with any kind of intimidating workspace,” Palin told CNN.
She also added that women who do face sexual harassment in the workplace should speak out and not remain in hostile environments just to collect a paycheck.
“If a woman believes that she is being intimidated and harassed, she needs to stand up and do something about it, not stick around for a paycheck for years and years and years, and then after the fact complain about what she went through,” Palin said.

Obviously, the left will say Palin is blaming the victim when she says you shouldn’t keep taking a paycheck.
She’s not.  Fox did a bad job creating a good environment for employees. However, at the same time, there is a level of personal accountability that should at least be talked about.  It’s ridiculous that we can’t even suggest that maybe you should leave your job if you are getting harassed. It’s the company’s job to protect you. But, Fox clearly was doing a bad job at that.
Palin is absolutely correct.  Some of these allegations are from years ago. Why was it not a problem then? Why are you piling on now? Those are questions that should at least be asked even if they are never answered.  If someone is doing something wrong then they should be called out for it immediately.
On another note, check out what Sarah Palin was up to yesterday.
