...never sends his/her troops anywhere he/she would not go...and always leads from the front...this will guarantee respect from those who serve...I realize the POTUS cannot lead troops into combat as the Kings of old did...however he/she should visit the troops often... in the hell zone to insure them he/she is with them.
LTC Al Moore (Now Retired General) was a prime example of a true leader...he lead from the front, first one on the ground hot LZ... last one out....mission accomplished!
