Conservatives Challenge McConnell to Defund Obamacare: ‘If You Fund It, You Own It’

No one claiming to be any kind of conservative can vote to fund Obamacare.

A conservative group released an ad on Wednesday comparing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to a chicken and challenging him to support the effort to defund Obamacare. The ad proclaims that McConnell will own Obamacare if he votes to fund it.
ForAmerica, a non-profit conservative group led by Brent Bozell, released an ad titled, “Who Are the Biggest Chickens in Washington?”
The ad implies that McConnell is one, as it says, “In American slang, the chicken represents a coward.”
“The chicken is also representative of a new breed of Republicans in Washington,” the ad then says. “They tend to say one thing: ‘Obamacare should be repealed, root and branch.’ – Sen. Mich McConnell. But when confronted with an opportunity to act, they often run, far away, without a sense of direction.”
