In the wake of the terrorist attack in Nice, France, the left continues to pretend to abhor violence, but still pushes a politically correct agenda that aids and abets more terrorism.
But a former CIA officer who served from 1982 to 2005 and commanded CIA agents in eastern Afghanistan after the U.S. invasion in 2001, has some unsettling words for President Barack Obama — and progressives in general.
“This is going to get very, very ugly,” Gary Bernsten told the “Fox & Friends” on Friday. “The president of the United States, as Newt Gingrich has stated, has failed in his responsibilities to defend the United States. He has lost control of the Middle East. It is in flames, and that is what he will leave when he leaves office.”
Spot on. When you prepare for a “borderless world,” as John Kerry says, you dissipate the boundaries that encourage greatness and competition, dragging the entire world down to the bottom — which happens to be engulfed Islamic fundamentalism and terror.
On Thursday, Obama condemned the Nice attacks, while continuing to forego any solutions to the root problem of these acts of terror.Former CIA Gary Bernsten: President Obama has failed in his responsibilities to defend the United States.https://t.co/z1ULLuLFUl— FOX & Friends (@foxandfriends) July 15, 2016
“On behalf of the American people, I condemn in the strongest terms what appears to be a horrific terrorist attack,” he said in a statement. “We have offered any assistance that they may need to investigate this attack and bring those responsible to justice.
“We stand in solidarity and partnership with France, our oldest ally, as they respond to and recover from this attack,” he concluded.
So, this November, we have the choice between a woman who believes that “Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism” and someone who knows that Islam-infested countries are hotbeds of terrorism, oppressive of women’s rights and an imminent danger to the Western world.
For the record, there is such thing as a moderate Muslim, but there is no such thing as a moderate Quran.
