The perfect organism; the perfect crime

The perfect organism is achieved when one can impute to you his philosophical thoughts and you adopt them as your own, believing that they are your own thoughts and that they originated in your own mind. This is not only the perfect organism, it is the perfect crime and it is the foundation of sagacious
statecraft stagecraft under our present system of government.
I use the word propaganda often in my writing when I refer to the shaping of “public opinion” by government. “Public opinion” is nothing more than official mythology that manipulates the mass mind into self-sacrifice for the benefit of government.

All institutions (social, fraternal, political, etc.) focus on the directing the human psyche into becoming one with the will of the state. The public mind is not only programmed to bend to the will of the state, the public mind becomes itself the state; the perfect organism, and the perfect crime.
“Public schools,” which are in fact and in reality government schools, direct us into an emotional fixation with official mythology deceptively named public policy. The public (non)education system is in fact a 13-year (or more) programming process that builds parameters of thought from which few ever escape. And precious few do escape.

Deep thinkers have already figured out that the more “educated” one is the more the gullibility and compulsion he has to follow the official propaganda line no matter the subject. In reality, the educated element in America is a vast cadre of intellectual prostitutes. Very few — almost noon, in fact — will jeopardize their professional reputation and their livelihood to publicly question the mythology of court history, conventional wisdom and “public policy.” Indeed, it is a compliment to them to suggest that they have the capacity to suspect that government propaganda even exists, let alone that there is an historical blackout.
I myself, under the burden of many years of “education,” struggled to separate reality from fiction. In our world this intellectual struggle goes on until death. It has to. Never in history have people been so subjected to such mass deception.

Here are some examples of gross deception that most people believe:
  • That government will not lie or allow an economic depression.
  • We can change government policy through elections if we just “throw the bums out.”
  • That history as taught in schools or history books is truth.
  • What the mainstream media tell us is true.
  • That pharmaceuticals sell good drugs that aid cures.
  • That vaccinations bring immunity.
  • That the cure for cancer is just around the corner.
  • When a child is sick, he needs antibiotics.
  • When a child has fever, he needs acetaminophen.
  •
  • Hospitals are safe and clean.
  • That prescription drugs are not poison.
  • That doctors and hospitals do not cause deaths.
  • Guns are dangerous.
  • The Civil War was about slavery and Abraham Lincoln was “The Great Emancipator.”
  • World War I “made the world safe for democracy.”
  • World War II was for democracy to prevail over tyranny.
  • The Korean and Vietnam wars were to “contain communism.”
  • Al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden pulled off 9/11.
  • The Iraq war was to find and destroy “weapons of mass destruction.”
  • We are fighting a “War on Terror.”
  • We are trying to destroy ISIS.
  • Paper money is wealth.
Edward L. Bernays, the nephew of Sigmund Freud, is the father of manipulative propaganda in America. Mass persuasion and mass hypnosis is the fundamental building block of so-called “democracy.”
This is from Bernays’ book“Propaganda”:
Those who manipulate the unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested largely by men we have never heard of.

In almost every act of our lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business or in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires that control the public mind.
The shocking conclusion is that millions of human beings live out their lifetimes as victims of official mythology.

Another shocker which renews itself every day is the extent to which the people defend their illusions and deceptions. Individuality and original thought are almost extinct. And this comes in a time in which we are in the midst of massive government propaganda hypocrisy about “human rights.” Human rights by any definition cannot exist in a manipulated society which has its mentality molded by ruthless propaganda. Human liberty and human rights, so-called, are anathema to manipulated minds.
When integrity and inquiry is obliterated as it is in America, all that is left is a police state. How is it that we have a police state and no one even suspects it?

As Harry E. Barnes wrote in his book “Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace”:
In his devastatingly prophetic book, Nineteen Eighty-Four, George Orwell points out that one reason why it is possible for those in authority to maintain the barbarities of the police state is that nobody is able to recall the many blessings of the period which preceded that type of society. In a general way this is also true of the peoples of the Western world today. The great majority of them have known only a world ravaged by war, depressions, international intrigues and meddling, vast debts and crushing taxation, the encroachments of the police state, and the control of public opinion and government by ruthless and irresponsible propaganda. A major reason why there is no revolt against such a state of society as that in which we are living today is that many have come to accept it as a normal matter of course, having known nothing else during their lifetimes.

Barnes self-published this book in 1953. It’s only gotten worse since then.
All this goes to say that we can be and are slaves in a police state without knowing it. Can’t this most accurately be described as the perfect organism and the perfect crime?
