As expected, Nancy Pelosi visited our
southern border, viewed the facilities where thousands of illegal alien
children have been crammed together for months, heard about the impact
the invasion of illegal immigrants, drug criminals, jihadists and who
knows who else have had on American towns, and promptly proclaimed
the chaos a wonderful "opportunity."
"This is a community with a border going through it. And this crisis — that some call a 'crisis' — we have to view as an opportunity," Pelosi said at her press conference in Texas.

If by "opportunity" she means a chance to use innocent children as
pawns in a Democratic Party-White House scheme to utterly destroy the
character and ultimately viability of America as a nation of laws,
liberty and prosperity, then yeah, you can see how it could be seen as
an opportunity.
Because that's certainly what the Left's scheme is.
Allied with racist-Marxist groups like La Raza, the Left is hungry to do away with American sovereignty and divide the spoils among the elite. When that happens, as always happens in a Marxist state, most of the people will just be out of luck, particularly the unknowing pawns (in this case, children) and the "useful idiots" (most of the people who vote Democrat).

As is her M.O. of late, Pelosi invoked her deep and abiding Catholic faith, whose tenets she regularly ignores and advocates against, as her excuse for why we should just let people from other countries run free in our interior.

Apparently, that dazzling, sparkling
array of divinity and worthiness of respect only applies to children who
break the law by crossing the border, not to American children still in
the womb, but let's not get sidetracked.
Pelosi's notion of "who we are as Americans" apparently translates as "suckers."
Meanwhile in Congress, the cries have arisen to declare the 50,000 or so illegal children since January to be refugees.
How could they not be refugees? Many of them are from harsh, tropical countries with plentiful resources and very few Xboxes. If they are forced to return, they are in danger of angering their parents for not sending home cash.

We Americans are collectively the most
generous people in the world. We like people from other countries who
want to visit or even stay and work here, so long as they do it legally.
But that doesn't oblige us to let people take advantage of our good nature. We have borders because we are separate and distinct from other countries, geographically and, more important, culturally. The Left has worked for generations now to destroy everything unique about American culture, from our history to our arts, sciences and industries.
We have reached the point where there is precious little still holding up the structure of what was the greatest country on Earth.
But that doesn't oblige us to let people take advantage of our good nature. We have borders because we are separate and distinct from other countries, geographically and, more important, culturally. The Left has worked for generations now to destroy everything unique about American culture, from our history to our arts, sciences and industries.
We have reached the point where there is precious little still holding up the structure of what was the greatest country on Earth.
This mass invasion of foreign influence
is part of the culmination of the Left's plan to eliminate government
of the people, by the people and for the people from the face of the
Earth. This is the power rinse that is intended to get rid of every last
scrap of everything good about American heritage and reduce us to a
near-feudal socialist state on the Third World model.
