Hundreds of women called their local Planned Parenthood clinics on Monday to schedule a mammogram appointment, but none were able to do so.
In fact, Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, doesn’t offer mammograms.
The phone calls were part of “Schedule Your Mammogram Day,” an event organized by the pro-life group And Then There Were None.
The event was organized to show the often deceptive claims of Planned Parenthood. It is commonly repeated in the media that Planned Parenthood offers mammograms.

During last week’s Miss America competition, Miss Tennessee defended the $500 million a year federal subsidy to Planned Parenthood, repeating the claim that Planned Parenthood offers mammograms:
The $500 million that gets given to Planned Parenthood every single year goes to female … care. It goes to screening for cancer. It goes for mammograms. And if we don’t give that funding to Planned Parenthood, those women will be out of health care for reproductive causes.
Planned Parenthood is also suffering from allegations that they discussed selling the tissues and organs of aborted babies for profit. Undercover videos were taken by pro-life activists which indicate they were in fact doing this, but Planned Parenthood insists the videos were heavily edited and misleading.
The House of Representatives is set to consider this week establishing a select committee to investigate whether in fact Planned Parenthood did discuss selling aborted babies’ body parts in this manner.

Republicans are set to launch a new strategy to defund Planned Parenthood this week, which does not entail shutting down the government.
House Speaker John Boehner stated: “We’ll … take up a select committee to investigate these horrific videos that we’ve seen from abortion clinics…in several states.”
Planned Parenthood performs more than 300,000 abortions per year.
What do you think of the hundreds of women who called Planned Parenthood on Monday?
