POTUS/VP 2016 the perfect storm...all bases covered

The list of disagreements between former Florida Rep. Allen West and his leftist detractors is demonstrably protracted. The retired Army lieutenant colonel is not shy about expressing his views and has proven time and again that he is willing to publicly air these areas of contention.
In a recent blog post, however, West explained how his disappointment in one aspect of the left’s platform is actually making Americans – and freedom-loving individuals around the world – less safe.
He cited a number of recent attacks by Islamic radicals who target those of different faiths and ethnic backgrounds. Meanwhile, he lamented, many Americans choose to defend them and their murderous actions while demonizing those who speak out against terror.
“It’s come to a certain point where I don’t blame these animals anymore,” he wrote. “I blame us. They sense weakness and only respect strength, power, and might.”
According to West, this frustrating trend among leftists is seen as a sign of defeat to those who wish us harm.
“I am sick of the apologists, weaklings, and coexist bumper sticker crowd who sit back and allow this to happen.”
He noted that too many Americans seem to side with Islamists rather than their innocent victims.
“I am sick of people telling us not to offend Muslims and that these are just the actions of those who are perverting Islam,” he wrote. “I’m sick of Barack Hussein Obama supporting Islamists.”
In the end, he said “tolerance” is “becoming a one-way street leading to our cultural suicide.”
All the while, West noted, he and other outspoken critics of these terrorists are being castigated as the enemy.
“I’m sick of being labeled as an ‘Islamophobe’ for speaking the truth.”
He said groups affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and extremists in groups like CAIR are “operating freely in America and U.S. political officials [are] allowing, if not encouraging it.”
