Obama Mockingly Tells Americans What He’ll Do With Gun Control Laws

When the Founding Fathers wrote the Second Amendment they knew how important it was for the people of America to be well armed to prevent the type of tyrannical government control that they had experienced under the British. They also knew that mankind has a sinful nature and that in time there would be those individuals who would attempt to take control of the government and enslave the people. The Second and Tenth Amendments were specifically written to prevent these things from happening.
When we look at history, we see a number of instances of a government enacting similar gun registration and gun-control measures that President Obama is trying to push on us now.  All too often those gun-control measures have led to a dictatorial government or a socialistic government that took complete control of people’s lives.

We also see examples like Australia, where strict gun control measures were enacted for the sole purpose of reducing violent crime. However once the guns were taken out of the hands of the people and they no longer had any way to protect themselves, the rates of violent crimes drastically increased.
One of the hottest political and social battles being waged right now is over gun control laws.  Many conservatives like myself believe the battle is not about gun control but of people control. There are really no statistics to show that stricter gun control has worked to reduce the amount of violent crimes in any city, state or country.
Therefore, it seems only reasonable that the underlying push for the gun-control measures being bantered by the liberal Democrats, has one goal in mind. That goal is to disarm the people of the United States so as to make them vulnerable to a hostile takeover of our government by people like Barack Obama.

Obama is aware of the accusations being directed towards him and the reasons for his push for gun-control. He knows you cannot directly refute those accusations in a way to convince everyone that he is as innocent as he claims. So he has turned to mocking sarcasm and ridiculing conservatives like myself in an attempt to defray the seriousness of the situation.

This is a common tactic used by many to hide their real intentions. Listening to Obama’s mocking and ridicule of conservative’s concerns, reminds me of the children’s rhyme, The Smile of the Face of the Tiger:

“There once was a lady from Niger
Who smiled as she rode on a tiger
They came back from the ride
With the lady inside
And the smile on the face of the tiger”

When I listen to Obama speaking on gun-control or any other issue, I can’t help but view him as the tiger. It’s obvious that he wants nothing more than to devour the freedoms of Americans and you can see it in that wicked smile of his. In his snide and mocking way, Obama is confirming his motives and our fears.

To be honest, I trust the tiger more than I trust Obama, which is why I don’t believe a word he says when he tries to defray our concerns over the loss of our constitutional freedoms.  He can mock and jeer all he wants, but we know his true motives and will do everything in our power to prevent him from succeeding.
