Less than a week after the President paid a visit to one of America’s most controversial mosques, the liberal Democrats continued to propagandize for Islam. This time, instead of President Obama, it was House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who was carrying the water for the Islamists. Before reading a passage from the Gospel of John, Pelosi argued that Christianity, Judaism and Islam are at their heart – the same.
“As we hear these words from John 13:15 and 17, we know that this message, this command of love, is not confined to New Testament. The same message stands at the center of the Torah and the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad too.
From the Torah it says, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.’ And from Muhammad, 'None of you has faith until he loves for his brother or his neighbor what he loves for himself.'”
Here’s what John 13:15-17 (ESV) says: For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you. Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
It is disturbing (to say the least) that liberals continue to perpetuate the mythology that Islam bears any resemblance to Judeo-Christian faith, morality and practice. The religions bear passing resemblance due to the fact that Mohammed used Judaism and Christianity as a template for his design of Islam… but there is no underlying similarity.

The point of discussing the prohibition of some of the simplest pleasures in life, by the Sharia, should naturally beg the following question: If these things are forbidden, what else might be? Well, in short, under Islamic law almost anything that might distract a person from reverent behavior or that might direct one’s mind in an irreverent or possibly sacrilegious direction is risky. Danger lurks behind each and every humorous comment, never mind risqué or off-color jokes.
Islam has been Genocidal from its Very Beginning
Ibn Ishaq describes the killing of the Banu Qurayza men, in The Life of Muhammad, Section 690, as follows: “Then they [the Banu Qurayza] surrendered, and the apostle [Muhammad] confined them in Medina. . . . Then the apostle went out to the market of Medina (which is still its market today) and dug trenches in it. Then he sent for them and struck off their heads in those trenches as they were brought out to him in batches. . . . There were 600 or 700 in all, though some put the figure as high as 800 or 900. As they [the Jews] were being taken out in batches to the apostle they asked Kab what he thought would be done with them. He replied, ‘Will you never understand? Don't you see that the summoner never stops and those who are taken away do not return? By Allah it is death!’ This went on until the apostle made an end of them.” Thus genocide of the Kafir (the non-Muslim) became doctrinaire Islam.
Rape and Abuse of Women is Part and Parcel of Islam
Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. Surely Allah is most high.” —Koran 4:34
There is no real discussion of rape qua rape in the Koran. There is likewise no verse which forbids forced sex. But what does exist is a verse giving Muslim men permission to commit rape against women taken by their right hands—their sword hands—in jihad. As part of a discourse on the subject of forbidden sex, here is how Koran 4:24 reads: “Also [sexually forbidden are] married women, except those slaves whom your right hands possess [as war booty]. Thus has Allah ordained for you. All others [who are not your slaves] are lawful, provided you seek them from your property, desiring chastity, not fornication. So with those among them whom you have enjoyed, give them their required due, but if you agree mutually after the requirement [has been determined], there is no sin on you. Surely, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.”

While there do exist verses about love, peace and understanding in the Koran, those passages are in opposition with verses demanding the exact opposite of these things.
Islam cannot honestly be called a Religion of Peace, nor should it ever be equated with Judaism or Christianity, two religions which desperately value life and peace. Instead, Islam should be recognized for what it is… A Religion of Violence.
