With the DNC it's all about taxes..not humanity/morality

Just a fact Jack...no ands ifs or buts about it...from climate control through gun control it's not about saving humanity from the dreaded whatever... it's all about taxing the people to death whilst the elite idiots in DC and the world as well... ie: The morons at the UN pad their collective portfolios with the hard earned income of Middle America!

addendum...have y'all had enough of big government yet? Let's get real, taxes are what started the US Revolution ...hello Boston Tea Party?...what is going on now is 1000 times worse than the original cause for the colonists to revolt...have ya ever looked at your phone bill?...federal taxes and surcharges added for what?.. sin taxes on cigaretts and alcohol, where does this money go? To help who pray tell?...oh wait it goes into the general fund just like Social Security and Medicare...to fund special interest  agendas and back room kick back deals...making our useless congressional representatives quite wealthy!

What we the people need to do ...short of another Revolutionary War is remove all those in congress who do not represent we the people but special interest groups and their personal bank accounts...let's take out the trash 2016 forward...that would be 80 % of congress...also elect a true 'Republic' POTUS who represents all the people...we need a fresh start...or a new revolution will undoubtedly ensue!

George Harrison was inspired to write the song “Taxman” (Revolver album, 1966). The Beatles were making a ton of money, but because of Britain’s “progressive” income tax, most of their earnings were being taken in taxes. As Harrison said, “‘Taxman’ was when I first realised that even though we had started earning money, we were actually giving most of it away in taxes.”

Harrison’s “Taxman” became a widely disseminated commentary on the confiscatory nature of governments. You can read the lyrics here. Here’s a video version showing Harrison with Eric Clapton singing it.
In the spirit of Harrison’s song, I’m posting the following from an anonymous author. Enjoy it and remember in November.

Tax his land, tax his bed,
Tax the table at which he’s fed.
Tax his tractor, tax his mule,
Teach him taxes are the rule.
Tax his cow, tax his goat,
Tax his pants, tax his coat.
Tax his ties, tax his shirt,
Tax his work, tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco, tax his drink.
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his cigars, tax his beers,
If he cries, then tax his tears
Tax his car, tax his gas,
Find other ways to tax his ass.
Tax all he has, then let him know That you won’t be done ’til he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers,
Tax him some more.
Tax his air
Tax his water
Tax his/her sex
Tax him ’till he’s good and sore.
Then tax his coffin, tax his grave.
Tax the sod in which he’s laid.
Put these words upon his tomb,
“Taxes drove me to my doom.”
When he’s gone, do not relax.
It’s time to apply the inheritance tax

Paris Climate Deal Calls for America to Transfer Wealth to ‘Developing’ Countries

The draft of the international agreement to deal with climate change, which is being considered today in Paris by representatives from 195 countries, calls for the developed nations of the world (which include the United States) to transfer wealth to developing nations, including through “public funds.”
“Developed country Parties shall provide financial resources to assist developing country Parties with respect to both mitigation and adaptation in continuation of their existing obligations under the Convention,” says Article 9 of the draft agreement.
“As part of a global effort, developed country Parties should continue to take the lead in mobilizing climate finance from a wide variety of sources, instruments and channels, noting the significant role of public funds,” says the draft.
The draft agreement sets a goal for developed countries to dole out at least $100 billion per year by 2020.

The agreement at one point says: “Resolves to enhance the provision of urgent and adequate finance, technology and capacity-building support by developed country Parties in order to enhance the level of ambition of pre-2020 action by Parties, and in this regard strongly urges developed country Parties to scale up their level of financial support, with a concrete roadmap to achieve the goal of jointly providing USD 100 billion annually by 2020 for mitigation and adaptation while significantly increasing adaptation finance from current levels and to further provide appropriate technology and capacity-building support.”

Dems Push to Raise Taxes on Guns, Ammo

Two House Democrats have introduced legislation that would increase the federal excise tax on guns and rifles, and would also raise taxes on ammunition.
The bill is the latest Democratic effort to reduce access to guns, a step they say is needed to reduce gun violence around the country.
The legislation, from Reps. Danny Davis, D-Ill., and Bill Pascrell, D-N.J., appears to be a reintroduction of plan they proposed in the last Congress. That bill would have roughly doubled the federal excise tax on guns and rifles to 20 percent, and would have imposed a 50 percent excise tax on ammunition.
A description of both bills say the aim is to “amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to increase the excise tax and special occupational tax in respect of firearms.”
