The long-term effects of immigration -- legal and illegal -- could have disastrous consequences.
First, soccer would become the national past time.
Second, the Second Amendment would be abolished:
"Mass immigration from the Third World
would destroy the NRA and ultimately the Second Amendment, a Washington
Post op-ed declares, as foreigners with no cultural connection to
America continue to pour into the nation at an unprecedented rate."
These Third-World immigrants would create a country like the country
from which they escaped. The only people who would be armed would be the
police, soldiers, and criminals. The people would be left defenseless. The United States would become a Third-World country with no way to oppose the new tyranny. Centuries of worked out and tested governing policies based on a Christian worldview would be displaced.
Even if every gun was confiscated and turned into a mass of metal, it wold not mean that people would not seek to harm other people.
Timothy McVeigh used fuel oil and fertilizer. Islamic extremists used box cutters and jet planes.
Jews in Israel are being stabbed to death.
The problem isn't with knives, guns, box cutters, jet planes, fuel oil, or fists. It's with people.
What makes the anti-Second Amendment establishment think that getting rid of guns will stop some people from killing other people? It hasn't happened where guns are outlawed. The use of a gun in the right situation can save lives.
Two things need to change. First, and fundamentally, people need to change. We live in a culture where life is considered cheap. People actually used to fear God for what they might do. With God out of the picture, there is no ultimate moral restraint.
Congress still refuses to stop the funding of Planned Parenthood where unborn babies are killed. Young people are taught that they have evolved from "nothing," therefore we are all all the descendants of nothing.
"While evolution teaches that we are
accidents or freaks of nature, creationism shows humankind as the
offspring of a divine Creator. There are rules to follow which govern
not only our time on Earth, but also our afterlife.
"Human action is determined by core
beliefs. Creationism teaches that humans are wonderfully made with the
promise of high expectations.

“If evolution is forced on our kids, we
shouldn’t be perplexed when they beat on their chests or, worse yet,
beat on each other and their teachers.”1
Second, people who are intent on harming others need to know that
there are armed people ready, willing, and able to defend themselves
against an attack. They need to be made to think that anyone might be armed.
