Feeble Hillary Clinton isn't going anywhere. As Trump would say, "Sad!"
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton signaled she was ready to come back into the spotlight for Donald Trump’s presidency, according to a message of appreciation she sent her supporters Monday.
“I believe it is our responsibility to keep doing our part to build a better, stronger, and fairer future for our country and the world,” Clinton wrote on her official Facebook page.
“I wish you and your family health, happiness, and continued strength for the New Year and the work ahead. I look forward to staying in touch in 2017. Onward!” she continued.
Clinton later used another social media platform to hint at her possible intention of re-entering the limelight.
Make no mistake: this is nothing more than an attempt by an increasingly irrelevant Clinton to grab the last bit of establishment Dem cash she can get her grubby little hands on. It has nothing to do with her ability to be a successful advocate for Democratic positions, which is nil.
The fact of the matter is, the Democratic party's wholesale rejection of Clinton should worry conservatives. Clinton's finger in the air pandering progressivism was certainly dangerous, but it was far more moderate than the heavy duty socialism embraced by those who are going to lead the Democratic party into the future. The future of the DNC seems to be a mix of the Ivory Tower progressivism of Elizabeth Warren, the Communist admiration of Bernie Sanders, and the 9/11 conspiracy theory spouting machinations of racial separatist Keith Ellison.
In that environment, it's unlikely a haggard, hectoring Hillary Clinton finds many willing to stand beside her.
