SUCCESS! Oath Keepers/Jeffrey Earnhardt Project Raises Over $47,000.00

REDLINING IT.  We buried that needle, and how!speedometer-red-1
The initial fundraising effort to put an Oath Keepers car on the NASCAR track raised a total of $47,000.00, far exceeding the goal of $30,000.00 needed by end of day, May 1, 2013 to run an Oath Keepers car, driven by Jeffrey Earnhardt, at the upcoming June 1 race in Dover, Delaware.
Now that’s success! The way donations were rolling in yesterday, we had a feeling we were going to go over the target of $30,000.00, but when we saw the total this morning, we were floored.   We are now not only all set for the June 1, Dover race, but are now also half way to our next goal, which will be sponsoring Jeffrey Earnhardt in a July 14, 2013 race in New Hampshire (Live Free Or Die!).

We want to thank all of our members, supporters, and all of the other patriotic and liberty loving Americans who stepped up to make this such a successful campaign.  We particularly want to thank David Codrea of Gun Rights Examiner, Dan Johnson of PANDA, the folks who post over at Freerepublic.com, dailypaul.com, and the ronpaulforums.com, among many others, who helped to rally the troops to support this effort.
And we also want to thank Oath Keepers Jeff Ford,  Randall Skipper, and Nick Roehrick for their hard work on this project.

A point of clarification:  This is an ongoing campaign, funded entirely by folks who donate specifically for this effort.   No funds from membership, our billboard fund,  or our “normal” donations to our general fund will be used for this “speeding billboard” racing sponsorship effort, just as our billboard campaign is also self-sustaining and separate, with folks donating specifically for that project.   Funds for each project are kept separate and are used only for that particular project.
This means we will sponsor Jeffrey Earnhardt for as long as you, our members and supporters, want us to.   We think it is an excellent and very worthy campaign to get our name and message of keeping the oath, and defending the Constitution, in front of millions of patriotic Americans, many of them current serving and veterans.
As our enemies over at the SPLC noted, what we are doing is putting a “speeding billboard” on the NASCAR track, driven round and round by “Jeffrey Earnhardt, a young prince of one of NASCAR’s royal families.”   They got that right!   Obviously, the far left government supremacists over at the SPLC are not happy about it, which is why they are attacking the project by featuring an article about it on their “Hatewatch” blog.   That let’s you know we are on the right track!
Like our billboard campaign to put Oath Keepers billboards outside of every major military base in America, this is our way of going directly to our target audience of veterans and current serving, going right around the self-appointed gate-keepers in the leftist dominated press and bureaucracy.

For the race in Dover, we are trying to work the Delaware State motto of “Liberty and Independence” into the artwork for the car.  And for New Hampshire, we will use that state’s motto of “Live Free or Die” which seems perfectly fitting for the current struggle we are engaged in to preserve liberty.
Stay tuned for more updates as we race on!

Oath Keepers Logo Will be on Fastwax.com / Jeffrey Earnhardt Car this Weekend at Talladega Super Speedway!

Darren Ellsmore, Owner of Fastwax.com, Donates Associate Sponsorship Position to Oath Keepers.
Pictured here is our brother in arms Darren Ellsmore who donated an associate sponsorship position on his FW1/FASTWAX.COM Mustang for the NASCAR Nationwide Race on Saturday May 4th at Talladega Super Speedway.

What a pleasant surprise! Just when you thought you had to wait till June 1 to see the Oath Keepers tab logo racing around the track, Darren Ellsmore, the owner of Fastwax.com, steps up and donates an associate sponsorship position on his FW1/FASTWAX.COM Mustang for the NASCAR Nationwide Race this coming Saturday May 4th at Talladega Super Speedway.
Fastwax.com is is one of the major sponsors of the Jeffrey Earnhardt Race Team and Darren Ellsmore is a true patriot who supports the Constitution and is especially concerned with the ongoing assault on the Second Amendment (hence his “I plead the 2nd” T-Shirt).

Darren also supports our mission to outreach to current serving military, police, first responders, and veterans, and has stepped up to the plate in a big way to make sure our logo and message about defending the Constitution is seen this weekend.
We salute Darren and the rest of the crew at Fastwax.com and thank them for their generosity and their patriotism. Darren lives in Colorado, where the Colorado legislature just passed one of the most egregious anti-gun rights bills in the current assault on the right to bear arms. Like other Colorado citizens, he is now in the front wave of the resistance against the gun grabbers. By stepping up like this, Fastwax.com joins other patriotic companies, such as Magpul, who have put their money, time, and principled stand into the fight, and are leading by example. That’s how it’s done.
