TALIBAN LAUNCH NEW SPRING OFFENSIVE
Our troops fighting the War on Terror need us more than ever! Now that Spring is here and temperatures are warming up in Afghanistan, the traditional "fighting season" is coming back. That means more insurgents, Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters coming out of their caves to carry out bombings and attacks on American targets!
This Spring is already getting off to a rocky start as the Taliban announced a new spring offensive.
 The Associated Press APRIL 27, 2013 by AP Staff ...the Taliban announced a spring offensive it said it will target military and diplomatic sites with suicide bombers and deadly insider attacks. April already has been the deadliest month so far this year across the country where Afghan security forces are increasingly taking the lead on the battlefield of the more than 11-year-old war... ...In their announcement on Saturday, the Taliban vowed to step up violent attacks now that winter was over and warmer weather has made travel and fighting easier. The militant group said it would use every possible tactic to "detain or inflict heavy casualties on the foreign transgressors." |
WE CAN'T FORGET OUR TROOPS ON THE FRONT LINES! Now that the cold Winter is behind us and the weather is warming up, our troops will be facing more frequents attacks and more roadside bombs, ambushes, insider attacks and other cowardly tactics by the Taliban.
Please remember that this war is far from over and our tropos are still fighting on the front lines. Even if the media seems to have forgotten them, we can't! Move America Forward will continue to send support to our troops as long as they're in harm's way.
