The media are reluctant to describe the Boston bombers as radical Muslims motivated by their Muslim faith. Now if the bombers had been Christians or unofficial members of the Tea Party, then the group identification would be all over the news.
Every leftist blogger, Democrat politician, and the President himself would be calling down wrath from heaven on the identified groups. It happened with Timothy McVeigh, and they tried to do it with the Aurora movie theater shooter and the wide-eyed fanatic from Tucson who shot Gabrielle Giffords and others.
Joe Scarborough described the bombers as “radicals” but not Muslim radicals. On his Morning Joe show, Scarborough said, “Don’t blame society . . . . Blame radicalism, blame evil.” Radicalism and evil fueled by what?
Let’s me be clear, not every Muslim is radicalized, but there are enough radical Muslims to do severed damage to the United States. Bit by bit their actions are working well enough to strip away our freedoms. Maybe this has been their intent all along.
There are said to be one billion Muslims in the world. If just 10 percent of them are radicalized, then that’s 100 million radical Muslims. If it’s just one percent, that’s 10 million. If it’s one-tenth of one percent, we’re still left with one million. That’s a lot of Muslim radicals.
There is nothing comparable on either the Christian or conservative side. Even Bill Maher has enough sense left to recognize that Christianity is not in any way comparable to Islam when it comes to terrorism.
There are no “levels of . . . violence” perpetrated by Conservative Christian groups. The SPLC is a fund raising machine for far-left social and political causes. The organization cannot be trusted.
So let’s be honest. These two men were influenced, possibly brainwashed by other Islamic extremists, and let’s not be afraid to “…Say it! … Say it!” We’ll all feel better.

This is not the case for the insane ramblings of Thom Hartmann who hosts the nationally syndicated radio show The Thom Hartmann Program:
“I think that this might be a good
opportunity for us to have a conversation about all forms of religious
fundamentalism that lead to violence. Whether it’s the murder of
abortion doctors, whether it is the incredible levels of intolerance and
violence that have been documented by the Southern Poverty Law Center
by white-supremacy groups operating in the name of Christ, or whether it
is fundamentalist Islam, that this would be, actually, perhaps, a good
opportunity for us to have a conversation about modernity versus Bronze
Age gods.”
