A year ago, President Barack Obama met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. An
open microphone picked up a conversation that Obama never wanted anyone in the United States to hear.
Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile
defense, this, this can be solved, but it’s important for him [Putin] to
give me space.”
Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…”
Obama: “This is my last election,” President Obama said. “After my election, I have more flexibility.”
Medvedev: “I understand. I transmit this information to Vladimir.”
That election is over and now we are seeing the blatant disregard for
the Constitution and the people of the United States being put forth by a
power hunger president. Without having to worry about another
election, Obama feels he is free to push his left-wing socialist agenda
even harder than he did during his first term.
Part of that agenda is to surround himself with more left-wing
liberals than he did during his first term. One of new advisors is a
French national by the name of
Esther Duflo.
Duflo was born and educated in France through her master’s degree and
then she obtained her doctorate in economics from MIT. She is now the
co-founder and director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab
that specializes in dealing with eradicating poverty through the world.
Duflo also works as a Professor of Poverty Alleviation and Development
Economics at MIT.
Among her economic views on poverty is her belief in the
redistribution of wealth. I like to call this Robin Hood economics where
the government and the United Nations want to steal from the wealthy
and give it to the poor. They advocate taking the money that many men
and women have worked long and hard to earn and just give it to the poor
who don’t do anything to earn or deserve it. Another way of putting it
is to penalize those that work and become successful and reward those
that are lazy and sit on their butts and wait for government handouts.
In addition to Duflo’s socialistic economic policies, she has also
worked in conducting experiments on electioneering or how to get more
votes for a candidate. Her methods were so successful that France’s new
socialist President Francois Hollande used three voting strategists
that applied her methods to help him get elected. Obama’s team also
used her methods in 2008 and 2012 to get voters registered and voting.
According to the New York Times, Duflo’s tactics allowed the Obama
campaign to alter the very nature of the electorate, making it younger
and less white.
With her background, she will fit right in on Obama’s Global
Development Council. The Council is another new government advisory
board created by, you guessed, an executive order. The goal of the new
advisory board is to advise Obama and his top leaders on global
development policies and practices. Basically, the panel of up to 12
men and women, will be advising the president on how to spend our tax
dollars in other countries while our own poverty level steadily
increases. They will take from the rich and not so rich and give to the
poor abroad.
The more of these liberal left-wing advisors I see Obama selecting,
the more I think about what he told Medvedev a year ago about waiting
until after this last election when he will have more flexibility to do
what he wants.
