I don’t know how it is possible that Hope Christian School in Albuquerque, NM ever considered admitting the three-year-old boy into school, but when they discovered that he was being raised by “two dads,” they rejected his application. As much as it would have been wonderful to do whatever possible to disciple the child in the Faith, the legal mess would have been horrific. As soon as they taught the child about Adam and Eve, the “parents” would have been enraged and perhaps even gone to court. No pre-school wants to have to add a column in the budget for fending off homosexual litigants.
But it is now too late. The “couple” are suing anyway. They want damages, both compensatory and punitive. They also want the child to be admitted as a student despite the fact that the school openly states they are “open to students of any race, color, or ethnic origin who are looking for a Christian environment with an emphasis on teaching Biblical principles and truths along with strong academics.”
