Obama’s Attempt at Playing the ‘Elder Statesman’ Is Sickening

smug-obama
Last weekend, around 3.6 million Brazilians demonstrated around the country (Brazil, not the U.S.), demanding that their socialist President Dilma Rousseff resign or face impeachment. Rousseff and Brazil’s former president Lula da Silva have been implicated in $3 billion worth of misfeasance involving public funds.

Considering this in the context of the Obama administration, it’s almost laughable – a bitter, aft-deck-of-the-Titanic sort of laughable, to be sure, but if we were to enumerate the misappropriated, funneled, and flat-out “lost” funds that went through the White House and Obama appointees’ hands, well… In one year, the State Department under Hillary Clinton “lost” twice what the Brazilian pols are accused of stealing.

And in light of financing and arming terrorists, illegally toppling governments, and destabilizing entire regions to the tune of hundreds of thousands dead (we call those “war crimes” in the civilized world), stealing money just seems so, well… passé.
Were I to pen an open letter to Barack Hussein Obama, it would likely begin with the words “You phony bastard,” and might contain some unprintables. It’s not like we have to look far to identify something this man has done during the course of an average day that offends. What I find offensive at present is the air Obama has taken on of the elder statesman, cavalierly critiquing the lively drama that’s playing out during this primary season.

And lying his scrawny butt off in the process, which we all realize is par for the course…
“I know that I’m not the only one in this room who may be more than a little dismayed about what’s happening on the campaign trail lately. We have heard vulgar and divisive rhetoric aimed at women and minorities. Americans who don’t look like us or pray like us or vote like we do. We’ve seen misguided attempts to shut down that speech, however offensive it may be. We live in a country where free speech is one of the most important rights that we hold. In response to those attempts, we’ve seen actual violence.”
