Do Muslim lives matter most?

muslim110315

This is the second installment of a two-part series on America’s unspoken war with Islam. Read the first installment, “American lives matter.”
“[W]e have reaffirmed again and again that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam” — President Barack Obama
Last week, I wrote of the growing racial divide in America typified by the latest protest cry from African-Americans: “Black lives matter.”
Over the past seven years, President Barack Obama and other progressives inside the Democratic Party, like Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), have deflected blame away from the president’s failed economic programs, which have left millions of blacks poorer. They focused anger instead on white racism in America. There has been a deliberate policy by the president and Democrats to blame Republicans for race inequality in America. This has left the nation more divided than at any point since the Vietnam War.

Traitor kings

Obama and Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton are willfully ignorant to the growing global struggle between Islam and the West. They and other liberals have acquiesced to a future America with the rule of law, decency and morality that may originate more from Mecca rather than from the Magna Carta.
The British story spun in 1936, which persisted until recently, was that King Edward VIII (aka the Traitor King) abdicated the British throne for his undying love of Wallis Simpson, an American divorcee. The truth unveiled from documents that are no longer classified is that Edward spied for the Third Reich and was in collusion with Adolf Hitler to regain the throne. This would explain why as ruling king, Edward was such an apologist for the Nazis.

In much the same way, Obama is the leading apologist for Islam. Islam has been so praised by Obama that I wonder if his loyalties lie more with Islam than with the United States.
Consistently, Obama has disassociated terrorist groups from Islam — as if inside the ranks of ISIS are Buddhists, Jews or Mormons. Muslims alone are at the center of global terrorism.
In the Sept. 15, 2012 issue of RenewAmerica, Kevin Fobbs wrote:
Do you remember where you were the day that America’s Dream was assaulted, stripped bare, and left to endure a slow and lingering death? That day began on June 4th, 2009, when President Obama traveled to Cairo, Egypt and bowed his head to the Muslim World in a speech. He let the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamic extremists, know that they had a fellow traveler and friend in the White House [emphasis in the original].

The president was clear, convincing and concise. The values and principles of the nation which has guided America’s founders, the defenders, and its citizens for over 233 years, by 2009, was laid upon the altar of Islam, like yesterday’s refuse. The new American dream of apology first, neutrality second and attack from behind third, was the new legal, moral and presidential construct.
Certainly, Obama has consistently argued that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. This is borderline criminal when you consider that America is engaged in a war against fundamental values of Western society that date back to the Renaissance 400 years ago.

Obama is not alone in this. A great many liberals in America and Western Europe refuse to acknowledge the truth. This is startling when millions of Muslims believe that either a religious conversion to Islam or death for those who refuse is a victory for Allah. It is all the more worrisome because most moderate Muslims will not refute the radicals. Even more disturbing is that millions of other Muslims in Western society do not object to the murder of Christians and Jews.
Last week, I reported that millions of Muslims worldwide give tacit approval of terrorist attacks. A poll from Pew in the summer of 2011 said 30 percent of U.S. Muslims view al-Qaida, “very favorably.” Separately 35 percent of U.S. Muslims said there is a great deal of extremism in America.
In raw numbers these are worrisome percentages. This is pointed out in the 2008 documentary “The Third Jihad: Radical Islam’s Vision For America.”

In the film is a Fox News broadcast regarding a 2007 Pew poll that stated 200,000 American Muslims embrace suicide bombers.
The argument by left-leaning Republicans such as Michael Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York, that Muslims are wealthy contributors to American society is bogus. In 2011, only 22 percent of U.S. Muslims made $75,000 or more per year; 45 percent of Muslims made less than $30,000 per year. It is ironic, but the multitudes of Muslims living off the government’s teat are the same people who want to see its demise.
Could it be that Obama and other progressives really don’t see the conflict between Islam and the West? No. It could be, however, that liberal Western leaders have become a gaggle of appeasers on par with Neville Chamberlain.

Mark Steyn indicates in his controversial book “America Alone: The End of the World As We Know It” that he certainly believes this to be the case. Just one shard of evidence he presented is a 2008 BBC interview with then-Archbishop of Canterbury. Rowan Williams said it is dangerous to have one law for everyone and that, therefore, the introduction of Sharia law in Britain was “inevitable.”
What seems inevitable is that liberals as high-ranking as the president of the United States believe it is OK for the West to turn over like some sick dog that exposes his underbelly in an act of submission. Taken to its extremes, it sometimes seems Muslim lives matter most.
