Outrageous Democrat Ad Compares Tea Party To KKK

oped: Ok I have had enough of the looney left who obviously failed US History 101...or their Marxist College Professors changed history to subvert the actual facts...
Facts:
The KKK was established by non other than the Democratic Party after the Civil War during reconstruction:
By 1868 the purpose of the KKK was obvious: it was to threaten, intimidate, attack, and kill southern Republicans, whether they be white or black, native southerners or transplanted Yankees.  At a time when Republican majorities in several southern states depended on the ability of blacks to vote in large numbers for the first time in a presidential election (as well as to vote for the state legislators who would elect United States senators), it was in the interest of the Democratic party to welcome the KKK’s assistance as it sought to turn back the candidacy of Ulysses S. Grant.  After all, northern Democrats, especially those from New York, were no strangers to using violence politically, especially against black people.  That was the story of the 1863 draft riots in New York City.  Thus it made sense for northern Democratic leaders to welcome Forrest to the 1868 Democratic national convention meeting in New York.  That convention nominated as president former New York governor Horatio Seymour, who had in 1863 addressed draft rioters as “my friends,” and chose as his running mate Frank P. Blair, who had called upon Democrats to undo Reconstruction and continue the struggle.  Forrest actually pushed for the candidacy of President Johnson, a fellow Tennessean, and was rewarded later that month with a presidential pardon, which, among other things, meant that he would not be subject to prosecution for his acts during the war.  Democrats also welcomed John B. Gordon to the convention, and the Georgian spent the fall campaigning for the Seymour-Blair ticket … while he directed KKK operations.

Another History 101 tidbit that should put shame on the DNC and the NAACP hello:

I rest my case now on to the rediculous claims by Alan Grayson (D-Fla)

As Barack Obama’s popularity continues to plummet, his fellow Democrats have moved into high gear in disparaging his most successful opposition — the Tea Party.
In his zeal to trash the patriotic group, one Democrat’s use of incendiary rhetoric was shocking even in such a contentious political climate. Florida Representative Alan Grayson recently sent a fundraising email to his supporters implying that the Tea Party today is comparable to cross-burning Ku Klux Klan members of generations past.
In addition to the email’s title, which somehow suggests equivalency between the groups based on their correlative popularity, Grayson included a horrifying image to drive home his absurd point. The words “Tea Party” show up in the foreground with a burning cross representing the first letter as two Klansmen in hoods and robes look on.

“Now you know what the ‘T’ stands for,” the caption states.
The email itself includes a transcript the congressman had with Al Sharpton, the obvious choice to accompany any message falsely accusing whites of racism.
According to the narrative, Sharpton asked Grayson if Obama has the Tea Party “on the ropes,” to which he answered, “I think so.”
He then misrepresented the conservative position by suggesting that “the Tea Party cheered on the shutting down of the government, cheered at the fact that we put our credit at risk for a generation to come.”
In fact, there has been little reason to cheer in recent years. As far as putting our credit at risk, Obama is well on his way to doing that on his own. The Tea Party is concerned, however, about putting the entire future of the nation at risk by implementing the disastrous ObamaCare law.

Tellingly, Grayson’s email relies heavily on invective, such as the accusation that the “ultimate Tea Party Republican desire” is to “bring about the End of Days.” He pays mere lip service to the actual issues our nation is facing.
Of course, this is a fundraising email and, as such, should be viewed as nothing more than a political advertisement. Unfortunately, the hate-filled trash talk included in Grayson’s email is on full display anywhere today’s leftist ideologues gather.
