oped: This is a catch 22 the same rules apply to Ted Cruz as well as Obama and Marco Rubio...two wrongs do not make a right...While I support and like Ted Cruz, according to the US Constitution Obama as well as Cruz and Rubio do not meet the eligibility requirements...In the Ted Cruz case he holds not only dual citizenship but his father was not a US Citizen at his birth...the same applies to Marco Rubio...as for Obama no one really knows for sure where he was born and who his real father is Obama has failed to provide legal proof of his Long Form Birth certificate and the one he supplied was a proven fraud!

In a move that’s hard not to associate with his potential ambitions to seek the 2016 GOP Presidential nomination, Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) released his birth certificate to The Dallas Morning News, which published a story with an image of the document on Sunday.
The birth certificate affirms Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and Cuban father. His mother, Eleanor Elizabeth Wilson, gave birth to Cruz in Calgary in 1970. Upon his birth, Cruz became an American citizen, though not a “natural-born citizen” as set forth in the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
The newspaper volunteers perhaps too many pejorative comments about Cruz’ dual citizenship, but his naturalization status at birth is a real topic that’s lit a fire under mainstream media pundits.
In a column published Monday, Personal Liberty’s Bob Livingston explained the U.S. Supreme Court precedent that, if we are still a Nation of laws, should keep Cruz out of the Presidential race.
