Nevada SB-221 vetoed by Gov Brian Sandoval...!

On Thursday, Governor Brian Sandoval finally vetoed Senate Bill 221, a bill which would have banned virtually all private firearm sales in Nevada and enacted a de facto gun registration scheme.

While he waited until the last minute to act, and even said the bill contained some anti-gun items "worthy" of his support, he ultimately listened to Nevada's gun owners, not New York Lobbyists.

Stopping billionaire-playboy New York City Michael Bloomberg's agenda would not been possible with outthe continued activism of thousands NAGR members and supporters like YOU. 


Unfortunately, the war on guns is not over yet.

While your State Legislature is now adjourned, your rights are still hanging by a thread in Washington.

Your U.S. Senator, Harry Reid (D), is foaming at the mouth to resurrect another anti-gun "deal," and has even promised to bring gun control up for another vote this year.

Worse, sources on Capitol Hill have told me the anti-gunners think your other U.S. Senator, Dean Heller (R), is still "in play."

Remember, earlier this year Senator Heller REFUSED to stand with Nevada gun owners by supporting the filibuster against gun control led by pro-gun Senators like Rand Paul (R-KY) and Mike Lee (R-UT).

So it makes sense that Harry Red and Michel Bloomberg think he's one they can flip. 

And if they do... gun control could pass.

That's why my staff and I are working tirelessly on an even larger program to combat the next wave of anti-gun legislation.

But to be successful, I will need your help.

Here's what you can do:

1.) Contact Senator Heller right now at 202-224-6244.

Remind him that gun owners in Nevada are still watching his actions.  Insist he vote against each and every anti-gun bill, motion, proposal, or "deal" that comes before him.

2.) If you can please consider chipping in $10 or $20.

Anything you can afford would go a long way towards stopping the next wave of anti-gun legislation in Washington.

This victory is your victory.  You have sent a message loud and clear to New York and California gun-grabbers that their schemes are NOT welcome in Nevada.

Now lets make sure the folks in Washington understand that too.
