On June 21 Vice President Joe Biden said “at least five
Senators” have contacted him to say they want to change their vote on
gun control.
They want to go from opposing expanded background checks to supporting them.
According to Politico, Biden was speaking to the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Las Vegas when he said the 45 Senators who opposed gun control have seen their approval numbers plummet. He said at least five of those Senators have called to him to ask, “Can we do something about this?”
