On Iran, Trump takes Opposite Approach from Obama’s Cowardice

 https://29dvttiq6ry1heyds3zfg0uf-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/obama-iran-800x509-e1507569851146.jpg

From the Daily Caller News Foundation:
Tensions are presently running high in Iran as anti-government protests — the largest in years — have broken out in cities across the country.
The protests began Thursday in the second most populous city, Mashhad, with people expressing dissatisfaction with Iran’s economic problems. The following day, the protests spread to half a dozen cities and evolved into broad anti-government demonstrations. While protesters numbered in the hundreds in some places, there were thousands in others.

Many Iranian citizens have been arrested for their participation in “illegal” gatherings.

President Donald Trump weighed in on the situation Friday evening as reports of the protests in Iran poured into the U.S. via the media

Many reports of peaceful protests by Iranian citizens fed up with regime’s corruption & its squandering of the nation’s wealth to fund terrorism abroad. Iranian govt should respect their people’s rights, including right to express themselves. The world is watching! #IranProtests
7:42 PM - 29 Dec 2017

Earlier Friday, the U.S. Department of State called on the international community to support the Iranian people’s “demands for basic rights and an end to corruption.”
“Iran’s leaders have turned a wealthy country with a rich history and culture into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos,” State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said in a statement, “As President Trump has said, the longest-suffering victims of Iran’s leaders are Iran’s own people.”

The statement also hinted at U.S. support for regime change within Iran.
The ongoing protests are the largest public anti-government outcry in Iran since the 2009 Green Revolution, a response to a prevailing belief that former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had stolen the election. As violence erupted in the streets and authorities cracked down on Iranian citizens, the Obama administration was initially silent on the acts of a hostile Islamic regime. For the first two days, the president failed to respond.
It was not until the third day that former President Barack Obama broke his silence.

“I think it would be wrong for me to be silent about what we’ve seen on the television over the last few days,” he said, adding, “I would say to those people who put so much hope and energy and optimism into the political process, I would say to them that the world is watching and inspired by their participation, regardless of what the ultimate outcome of the election was. And they should know that the world is watching.”
It is “up to Iranians to make decisions about who Iran’s leaders will be,” Obama explained.

The former president was, however, careful to avoid stepping on the toes on the Iranian government. “We respect Iranian sovereignty and want to avoid the United States being the issue inside of Iran.”
“My understanding is, is that the Iranian government says that they are going to look into irregularities that have taken place. We weren’t on the ground, we did not have observers there, we did not have international observers on hand, so I can’t state definitively one way or another what happened,” he said.

A week later, Obama condemned Iran for its oppressive behavior.
Obama encouraged Iran to respect the democratic process and universal values such as freedom of speech, but the administration’s tone was not as critical as its successor.
The previous administration sought to engage Iran through diplomatic initiatives, offering economic opportunities in exchange for cooperation on key security issues. The Trump administration has taken a much more antagonistic approach to a country that often engages in behavior detrimental to American interests.

Global Warming Hoaxers Scrambling to Lib-Splain Record Cold Temps

https://29dvttiq6ry1heyds3zfg0uf-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/shutterstock_Untitled-design-121.jpg

The United States is feeling a bit chilly these days, with record lows being recorded from coast to coast.  This prolonged cold snap has the lunatic left in a panic.

You see, the liberal world has long relied on the bizarre threat of global warming in order to remain in relative power.  This massive, truly global enemy is exactly what leftist kingmakers such as George Soros need in order to consolidate the world’s leadership into corruptible, bite-sized pieces.  The entire Global Warming Hoax is likely nothing more than an attempt to create an alarmist economy for Soros and others to profit from, while simultaneously narrowing the spectrum of their influence-by-wealth schemes.

This has spawned an enormous army of dimwitted, science-denying liberals who refuse to believe that they’ve been duped by their secret overlords.  They point to the semantic adjustments of “climate change” to lib-splain this prolonged cold snap and the coming Maunder Minimum sun cycle, but no one’s buying it.

Especially not anyone in the U.S., who this week was socked with record low temperatures.
“Wind chills 50 to 60 degrees below zero have been recorded this weekend in North Dakota and northern Minnesota. The coldest wind chill observed so far is 58 degrees below zero in Hettinger, North Dakota, on Sunday morning.
“Several daily record lows were set Sunday morning, including Huron, South Dakota (minus 27 degrees), Bangor, Maine (minus 24 degrees), Flint, Michigan (minus 11 degrees – tie) and Binghamton, New York (minus 3 degrees – tie).
“Embarrass, Minnesota saw a low temperature of 45 degrees below zero Sunday morning, the coldest it’s been there in nearly four years.”
And there is no end in sight to this arctic blast, either.
Things are expected to get so cold next week that Tampa, Florida is worried about possible Gulf Effect snow flurries storming in from their western shore.
Come to think of it, it’s more than just a little hilarious that the state that decided Al Gore would not become President in 2004 may have it’s first snow flurries in 40 years.

Iran’s Islamic Government Fights Back: Two Dead in Persian Protests

by:Andrew West

The situation is Iran is beginning to spiral out of control this weekend, as government protesters continue to clash with authorities and hardline Islamic supporters.

Until the year 1979, Iran was a bright, modern nation whose vibe was far similar to The Big Apple than Baghdad.  Women wore mini-skirts and paid for dinner, while the men took on a very GQ aesthetic.  For all intents and purposes, the Iranian nation was on its way to becoming a first world nation of the highest order.
Then, just before we cracked dawn on the 80’s, an Islamic revolution occurred in the country.  Suddenly, the Iranian people were under the rule of a strict, orthodox theocracy where clerical leaders shaped the culture and societal landscapes.  The bikinis turned to burqas nearly overnight.

Just this week, however, the seeds of revolution have sprouted again, as the religious regime stands accused of exploiting the people over which they rule.  These widespread demonstrations against the clergy have turned deadly today.

“The growing unrest over the economic woes plaguing Iran turned deadly as two protesters were killed at a rally amid warnings Sunday from the country’s government that anyone who disrupts order and breaks the law ‘must be responsible for their behavior and pay the price’ as Presdient Trump said the U.S. is ‘watching very closely.’
“The deaths were the first of the demonstrations, which began Thursday and appear to be the largest to strike the Islamic Republic since the protests that followed the country’s disputed 2009 presidential election.
“‘On Saturday evening, there was an illegal protest in Dorud and a number of people took to the streets responding to calls from hostile groups, leading to clashes,’ said Habibollah Khojastehpour, the deputy governor of the western Lorestan province, according to Sky News. ‘Unfortunately in these clashes two citizens from Dorud were killed.’
“Khojastehpour told state television that ‘no shots were fired by the police and security forces’ and ‘foreign agents’ and ‘enemies of the revolutions’ were to blame.”

This return to the modern world for Iran would also behoove the United States, who has been in cold conflict with Iran for decades.
Should the nation return to its more contemporary cultural roots, it would allow for the United States and Iran to work together far more harmoniously – something that will be coming in handy as the middle east continues to react to the U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

2,800 Documents To Be Dumped: Is Trump About To Start Arresting Top Democrats & Bring Them To Justice?

https://freedomoutpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Hillary-Clinton-In-Prison-YouTube.jpg

by: Michael Snyder
When Donald Trump gets hit, he always hits back even harder.
So, when the deep state decided to conduct a legal witch hunt against President Trump and his family, they should have expected that Trump would return the favor.
In recent days, there have been all sorts of rumblings about sealed indictments, pending arrests and a “deep state takedown”.
Many believe that we are on the verge of seeing some of the most prominent Democrats in the entire nation being arrested and thrown in prison.
We shall see how all of this plays out, but in this article, I am going to focus on the things that have been confirmed so far.

First of all, let’s talk about the documents that are going to be released on Friday.  According to Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, the State Department is scheduled to release 2,800 government documents which were found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop…
.@StateDept will publish releasable portions of 2800 government docs that @FBI found on Anthony Weiner laptop tomorrow (Dec. 29th). Again, thanks to @JudicialWatch lawsuits. Will @RealDonaldTrump DOJ finally take action on Clinton/Abedin misdeeds?
Remember, this is just a portion of the documents that were found on his laptop, and the really juicy stuff is almost certainly not going to be found in these government docs.

There are persistent rumors that the really juicy stuff on his laptop contains evidence of sexual misconduct by top Democrats that would far surpass anything that has come out about members of Congress so far.
We are potentially talking about the type of stuff that could send people to prison for life, and we need to keep demanding for that material to be released to the public as soon as possible.
I understand that there are ongoing investigations that cannot be compromised, but there is no excuse for things to drag on for this long.

But without a doubt, there could potentially be some gamechanging material in the docs that we will get to see tomorrow.
The following is what Judicial Watch previously had to say about these documents…
“This is a disturbing development. Our experience with Abedin’s emails suggest these Weiner laptop documents will include classified and other sensitive materials,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “When will the Justice Department do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law?”
Judicial Watch previously released 20 productions of documents in this case that show examples of mishandling of classified information and instances of pay to play between the Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation. Also, at least 627 emails were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over, and further contradict a statement by Clinton that, “as far as she knew,” all of her government emails had been turned over to department.

Based on just the evidence that we have so far, Hillary Clinton should clearly be going to prison, and let us hope that this latest development will move things in the right direction over at the Department of Justice.

Meanwhile, one of the other pieces of the puzzle that has been confirmed is a very curious executive order that was just issued by President Trump.

The following comes from Zero Hedge…
The Trump Administration quietly issued an Executive Order (EO) last Thursday which allows for the freezing of US-housed assets belonging to foreign individuals or entities deemed “serious human rights abusers,” along with government officials and executives of foreign corporations (current or former) found to have engaged in corruption – which includes the misappropriation of state assets, the expropriation of private assets for personal gain, and corruption related to government contracts or the extraction of natural resources. Furthermore, anyone in the United States who aids or participates in said corruption or human rights abuses by foreign parties is subject to frozen assets – along with any U.S. corporation who employs foreigners deemed to have engaged in corruption on behalf of the company.
Many believe that this executive order is directly related to ongoing investigations into corruption within the Democratic Party.
More specifically, the wording of this executive order definitely sounds like it could have been written with Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Tony Podesta and Uranium One in mind.

Here is more from Zero Hedge…
Now consider that if reports from The Hill are accurate – an FBI mole deep within the Russian uranium industry uncovered evidence that “Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow (the Uranium One approval)” – a deal which would eventually grant the Kremlin control over 20 percent of America’s uranium supply right around the time Bill Clinton also collected $500,000 for a Moscow speech, as detailed by author Peter Schweitzer’s book Clinton Cash and the New York Times in 2015.
A very dangerous game is being played behind the scenes, and I believe that Trump is going to come out the big winner in the end.
Many on the left had been anticipating that 2018 would be the year when Donald Trump is finally taken down, but they will be bitterly disappointed when some of their most cherished heroes end up in shackles instead.
If the elite had not gone after Trump so brutally earlier this year, perhaps he would have been willing to let some things slide.
But once Robert Mueller was appointed as special counsel and given an unlimited amount of time, money and resources to dig up dirt on Trump, it was inevitable that Trump would try to find a way to strike back even harder.

We have never seen anything quite like this in the history of American politics, and I have a feeling that 2018 is going to be one of the most “interesting” years ever.

Unsealed Court Docs Prove Prosecutors Tried To Rig Cliven Bundy Trial

https://www.westernjournalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Clive-Bundy-and-gavel-320x181.jpg

by:Tim Pearce
Unsealed court documents detail how the team of prosecutors tasked with convicting Cliven Bundy and his sons of crimes relating to a 2014 armed standoff failed to turn over potential exculpatory evidence to the court, The Oregonian reports.
The Bundys’ case ended in a mistrial Dec. 20 after Judge Gloria Navarro ruled that prosecutors violated the civil rights of the defendants by withholding evidence supporting the Bundys’ case.
Navarro is considering dismissing the case “with prejudice” and blocking prosecutors from retrying the case.

Her decision will come Jan. 8, according to The New York Times.
“There were approximately 3,000 pages that were provided to us only after we started trial,” Bundy lawyer Bret D. Whipple told TheNYT.
“I personally have never seen anything like this, especially in a case of such importance.”

Leah Sottile‏Verified account @Leah_Sottile
Judge Gloria Navarro called a mistrial today in the #bundytrial — "the only suitable option" because of several Brady violations in government's handling of discovery. "A fair trial at this point is impossible."
9:39 AM - 20 Dec 2017
Those 3,000 pages include the Bundys’ requests for multiple federal assessments that showed the Bundy family was likely not dangerous.
Prosecutors called the requests part of a “long list of frivolous and vexatious pleadings,” until a government witness, under cross examination, revealed knowledge of the assessments in court, The Oregonian reports.
Defense attorney’s asked federal prosecutors to hand over Inspector General reports on Bureau of Land Management agent Dan Love, who directed the BLM raid on the Bundy ranch to seize the family’s cattle over decades of unpaid grazing fees.
Love was fired from the agency in September for corruption and unethical behavior.

Prosecutors had dismissed the allegations and investigations of Love as an “urban legend,” but ended up handing over 500 pages worth of reports on Love in December, according to The Oregonian.
The Bundys’ lawyers made two requests to Navarro for a special “discovery monitor” to ensure that all relevant documents were being turned over by the prosecution.

Both requests were denied.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions, however, launched an investigation into prosecutorial misconduct after the mistrial.

NFL Player Receives Hefty Fine for Santa Cleats…Kneeling Players Receive Nothing

by: Keely Sharp Keely Sharp

It’s a sad day in America, and in sports, when an NFL player is fined heftily for wearing Santa cleats for Christmas, but kneeling players who disrespect our flag, anthem, and military get off without even a warning.

Fox News Insider reports:

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara said Thursday he was fined $6,079 by the NFL for his decision to wear Christmas-themed red cleats in last Sunday’s game.
The Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate then started a GoFundMe drive, saying he’d donate all proceeds to an organization that provides cleats to youth football players.

Kamara said,”Unfortunately The Grinch stole Christmas!! After the game I said that I would make a gofundme for the fine and donate the proceeds to charity sooooo…. here we are! A donation will be made to  Willie Hall playgrounds recreational department to provide cleats for their youth football programs.”

‘‘Tis the season 🤷🏾‍♂️. I’ll start the @gofundme later, stay tuned lol

The festive red and white cleats even had jingle bells on the laces, though Kamara took those off before playing against the Falcons.
The NFL’s strict enforcement of its dress code has generated complaints, especially after the league fined players for wearing custom-made patriotic footwear.
It led the league to allow all players to wear special cleats for one week this season to call attention to charitable causes.
The league also denied the Dallas Cowboys’ request to wear decals on their helmets to honor five police officers killed in a 2016 ambush attack.
On “Fox & Friends,” Pete Hegseth recalled that no action was taken against former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for wearing socks portraying police officers as pigs. The socks were photographed on the quarterback at a practice, not in a game.

" Kamara would do it again though, he said, “Yeah, they were worth it.”

Prosecutor Helping Mueller Caught Boasting About Working Against Trump

https://www.westernjournalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Robert-Mueller-Eric-Schneiderman-and-Donald-Trump-3-913x412.jpg

By Kevin Daley
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who is assisting special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, boasted of his successful resistance to the Trump administration in a Tuesday Medium post.
Schneiderman, who could play an essential role in the disposition of Mueller’s investigation, has effectively branded himself as a public anti-Trump litigator during the president’s first year, in keeping with the history of hostility between the two men.

Tuesday’s Medium post accompanied a profile of Schneiderman in The New York Times, which noted that Schneiderman had lodged 100 legal or administrative challenges to administration policies during Trump’s first year in office.

Such challenges include lawsuits contesting the travel ban and rescission of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, an Obama-era amnesty policy that grants temporary status to illegal immigrants who entered the country as children.
“We try and protect New Yorkers from those who would do them harm,” Schneiderman told The Times. “The biggest threat to New Yorkers right now is the federal government, so we’re responding to it.”

The attorney general is building a political profile around his anti-Trump bona fides.
Schneiderman told The Times that he has invested resources and personnel in anti-Trump litigation efforts, while coordinating with other Democrat state attorneys general to challenge the administration in court.

His official Twitter feed regularly features content attacking the president or promoting the attorney general’s litigiousness.

Eric Schneiderman‏Verified account @AGSchneiderman

2017 was a year of legal resistance. With the tireless efforts of the talented attorneys on my staff, my office has now taken over 100 legal & administrative actions to protect the people of NY from attacks by the Trump administration. http://nyti.ms/2l23qna
8:19 AM - Dec 27, 2017
Eric Schneiderman, the attorney general of New York State, oversees an office that has repeatedly tangled with the Trump administration. The president has tweeted insults about Mr. Schneiderman, once calling him “dopey.”
Mueller’s office retained Schneiderman’s assistance in August in a bid to establish greater leverage against the president and his loyalists. Though the Constitution invests Trump with the power to pardon violations of federal crime, he cannot grant relief from state and local prosecution.
Schneiderman’s cooperation provides a powerful supplement to the special counsel’s office, as it ensures criminal prosecutions may still proceed against any person Trump might pardon, diminishing the president’s assurances to wavering supporters.
The extent of cooperation between the two offices is not clear, though unnamed sources close to the investigation say they have shared evidence and discussed potential cases.
Schneiderman was circumspect on the topic in his Times profile. The AG said he was “watching (the investigation) from the outside, like everybody else,” and aides told The Times that they halted their investigation of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s finances out of deference to Mueller.

The New York attorney general is a natural ally of the special counsel. Many of Trump’s associates and business interests are based in New York City, where Schneiderman has power to bring cases.
His office was also investigating Trump well in advance of the 2016 election. The attorney general brought a $40 million civil case against the now-defunct Trump University in 2013 for fraud and illegal business practices. Trump settled the suit for $25 million during the transition.

Relations between Trump and Schneiderman have long been characterized by mutual animosity.
Trump loosed a steady barrage of disparagement against the attorney general on Twitter during the Trump University civil case. In a string of October 2014 tweets, he accused the attorney general of wearing Revlon eyeliner and blowing cocaine at a revolting Manhattan dive.
Schneiderman denies both charges.

Young Thug Gets Knocked Out Cold After Older Man Hears Him Disrespecting Women

https://conservativetribune.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/beachfight1227-592x331.jpg

By Joe Saunders
For an older guy, he sure packs a punch.
An internet video resurfacing on social media puts a new twist on one of the oldest scenes in American pop culture: A beach bully getting his comeuppance.
The video was posted to YouTube in February 2014, but doesn’t contain any details about where this particular confrontation took place.

It does, however, explain the setup:
“A 44 year old man was defending his wife from a drunk 25 year old kid who was harassing a group of women. Grey haired old man KO on douchebag.”

The context is easy enough to imagine: A young buck, apparently fueled by alcohol, decides acting like an obnoxious buffoon is the most effective way to impress young ladies. (It’s one of the miracles of the humanity that young bucks like that have been around as long as the species, but somehow mankind keeps trudging along.)
This time, though, an older gentleman decided he wasn’t going to let Mr. Obnoxious have his way, and the rest is well worth seeing.
Advertisement - story continues below
Warning: The video contains some strong language and quick violence.

The payoff moment comes about the 1:45 mark, but the run-up and the aftermath are just as good.
Watching that posturing ass show off his muscles, boast of his youth – “I’m f***ing 25 years old” – and generally behave deplorably is all the better if you have an idea of what’s coming.
And the older man’s evident attempts to protect his female companions — his wife, possibly daughters, maybe even strangers — while still trying to keep things peaceful can’t help but stir admiration.
But when push came to shove, he knew just what to do and how to do it — one quick punch put the beach bully on his back for a good long while.

Now, 44 isn’t exactly old, of course, and there are plenty of men just entering middle age who are easily in good enough physical shape to take on a man 15 years their junior.
But it’s still darn gratifying to see a mature man behaving the way a man should — trying to keep the peace as long as possible, but understanding that when it’s time to protect the women you love, there’s sometimes no substitute for physical violence.

Sometimes bullies grow up, sometimes they don’t. But men who stand up for them never go out of style.
For all the caterwauling going on these days about male aggression, videos like this are a reminder that everybody appreciates a man who will take a stand.
And if the distinctly feminine sound of the cheers for the hero of this video are any indication, women appreciate it even more.
Please like and share on Facebook if you enjoyed seeing this bully get what was coming.
What would you have done if you were in the older man’s position? Scroll down to comment below!

Hillary landmine will EXPLODE Jan. 15!? (secret investigation)

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may not have much time left.
The beginning of the end for Hillary — that could end with her finally thrown behind bars — starts on Jan. 15.
That’s the date a report on the on the investigation of Hillary’s email server is set to be delivered by Inspector General Michael Horowitz. For a year, Horowitz and his team of 500 agents have quietly moved forward on the investigation of Hillary’s email scandal and the Department of Justice’s mishandling of her case. They’ve amassed 1.2 million documents, and they’re scheduled to be delivered Jan. 15, 2018.

What’s in them? Former Justice Department official Michael Bromwich said the report will upset “a lot of people” because of how damaging it will be to Hillary and her pals.
“Michael [Horowitz] is a very solid guy with exactly the right background for the job. It’s a job that doesn’t make you many friends,” Bromwich said . “And I don’t think a lot of people will be happy when it’s over. But I think he is going to call it as he sees it.”
Already, this quiet, behind-the-scenes investigation has proven fruitful for President Donald Trump and his political allies.

Horowitz was behind the revealing text message scandal that has rocked special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation and led to two biased FBI insiders, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, being dumped from the team.
“For months, Horowitz’s investigation — which has amassed interviews with former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former FBI Director James Comey and other key officials — had been grinding on in near anonymity,” USA Today reported. “That is, until earlier this month when the inspector general acknowledged that Mueller was alerted to a cache of text messages exchanged between two FBI officials on his staff that disparaged Trump.”

The results of the inspector general’s investigation into Hillary’s misdeeds and the alleged cover-up by former President Barack Obama could be a “landmine” for Mueller and the rest of the Democrats, USA Today concludes.
If they show there was an illegal cover-up to help Hillary win the 2016 presidential election, conservative critics of the Clintons could also — at long last –get the justice they’ve asked for.

Battleborn Beer...the new kid on the block...move over Budweiser ha

Let’s face it. Most beer is pretty damn good.

Sure, we’ll argue about which one we think is best. But in the grand scheme of things, how much better can you make something that should only have about four ingredients?

That’s the way we see it anyway.

People who only want the best beer will always be looking for it. We’d rather just sell good beer to people who believe what we believe.

Battle Born personifies those beliefs.

So while everyone else tries to invent the next pumpkin nut brown ale, we figure we’d keep it simple and build a great brand.

After all, it’s just beer.

While You Were Distracted With Christmas, Senate Released How Many Harassment Settlements It Paid Out

by: Tim Brown
While you and I were enjoying the celebrations and time with family surrounding a time often established to remember the Incarnation of the Son of God to save sinners, the US Senate quietly released a report stating how many harassment settlements it has paid out.
The report was released on behalf of the US Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, on behalf of Chairman Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) and Ranking Member Amy Klobuchar (R-Minn.), and the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations, on behalf of Chairman Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) and Vice Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.)
According to the Office of Compliance, the Senate has paid $1.5 million on workplace harassment settlements since 1998.

“Harassment in the workplace should not be tolerated under any circumstances, but particularly not in the United States Senate,” said Chairman Shelby of the Senate Rules Committee. “While the Rules Committee has been eager to provide this information in a transparent manner, it has been our priority to protect the victims involved in these settlements from further harm. I am pleased that we have received assurances from Senate Legal Counsel that the release of this data does not violate confidentiality and as such, are able to make it public.”
How about the names of those who were involved in the harassment?  Why aren't those names forthcoming?  Those should receive no protection as they are employees of the people, and since the peopel are getting stuck with the bill of a settlement for harassment that their employees are accused of, we have a right to know who that money covered.

“Harassment of any kind is unacceptable," said Appropriations Committee Chairman Cochran.  "The Senate should hold itself to the highest standards of professionalism and respect.”
Of course, it is, but did anyone lose their job over any of this?  Was anyone prosecuted?  It appears no one was and that the money was just hush money designed to make the accusations "go away."
We aren't told any of this.  In fact, the report indicate that the Senate doesn't really keep a record of such things.
According to the release:

The Senate Rules Committee and the Senate Appropriations Committee consulted extensively with Senate Legal Counsel prior to this release to ensure it complied with the confidentiality protections governing these agreements and was sufficiently protective of the victims in these cases. The Committees received assurances from Senate Legal Counsel that the release of this information in no way implicates confidentiality concerns. It should be noted that the Senate – unlike the House – does not have its own records of individual settlements and therefore cannot independently verify the accuracy of the data provided by the OOC.

Great!  It could be a lot more than the $1.5 million since no records are kept of individual settlements.
Again, I ask, where is some true accountability in all of this corruption?
In November, the Congressional Office of Compliance released a report that taxpayers were on the hook for $17 million for settling sexual harassment claims that came out of the offices of the Legislative Branch over the past two decades since 1997.
The settlements in that report totaled $17,240,854 that provided 264 settlements, and you were sent the bill, America!
Keep in mind, this is settled with your money.  Someone ought to be forced to pay it back.

US Attorney Prosecuting Bundy Ranch Case Has History of Brady Violations

https://freedomoutpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/8145869_web1_daniel_bogden_web-360x200.jpg

by: Tim Brown
Just prior to Christmas, Judge Gloria Navarro declared a mistrial in the latest round of the Bundy Ranch standoff trials.  She did so because of multiple Brady violations by the prosecution, led by US Attorney Steven Myhre.
Mhyre and his team failed to turn over several exculpatory items to defense teams that were favorable to them.
Among those items were the cameras that were set up prior to the impoundment in 2014 in Bunkerville, Threat Assessment reports, names of potential witnesses, and reports from the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) reprimanding the BLM for not enforcing the court orders for years.
In all, there were at least seven Brady violations.
These violations are constitutional violations of the Fifth Amendment and Due Process.

However, it's now coming to light that this is no the first time the Myhre has been breaking the law and seemingly getting away with it.
Shari Dovale at Redoubt News has uncovered some of Mhyre's history of this lawless behavior and yet, he is still on the job in Nevada!
Dovale reports:

In the case of US v. Chapman, Steven Myhre was, again, the Acting US Attorney for the District of Nevada. He was in charge of the case and controlled all aspects of the case.
The case centered around securities fraud. On August 8, 2003, a grand jury in the District of Nevada returned a sixty-four-count indictment charging that Defendants allegedly created multiple shell corporations, back-dated corporate records to make their activities appear lawful, and named dummy directors and officers who had no actual control over the corporations and in some cases did not even know of their existence.

But, as in the Bunkerville Standoff trial, this case lead to a mistrial due to the prosecution ~ headed by Steven Myhre ~ not disclosing vital exculpatory evidence.
-dated corporate records to make their activities appear lawful, and named dummy directors and officers who had no actual control over the corporations and in some cases did not even know of their existence.
But, as in the Bunkerville Standoff trial, this case lead to a mistrial due to the prosecution ~ headed by Steven Myhre ~ not disclosing vital exculpatory evidence.

During the mistrial hearing, Chapman’s attorney alerted the court to hundreds of pages of documents that the government had delivered that morning and the previous evening. They totaled some 650 pages and consisted of rap sheets, plea agreements, cooperation agreements, and other information related to numerous government witnesses, including at least three important witnesses whose testimony was already complete.
This case resulted in a dismissal with prejudice. The government prosecutors ~ headed by Steven Myhre ~ attempted to appeal this decision. The appellate court upheld the ruling and stated clearly:
This is prosecutorial misconduct in its highest form; conduct in flagrant disregard of the United States Constitution; and conduct which should be deterred by the strongest sanction available.
This is just one instance of Myhre's crimes for which he was never prosecuted. The Bundy Ranch trials have totaled three thus far, and in each of those trials he broke the law, which demonstrates a pattern of lawlessness.
But it isn't just Mr. Mhyre.  No, he had help in orchestrating his crimes and among that help were his teammates, Dan Schiess and Nadia Ahmed.

Still, there were others involved, some in the Bureau of Land Management, as whistleblower and former lead investigator Larry Wooten wrote about after he was removed from the investigation at the request of Steven Myhre.
Myhre should have been disbarred at the first instance of his criminal actions, but he wasn't.  There is no telling how many times he has engaged in this behavior and how many innocent people have lost property or been imprisoned due to his crimes.
It's high time the people see Steven Mhyre and all those involved in this criminal action against the Bundys and their supporters dealt the very justice they sought to impose unjustly upon them.

EPA Hemorrhaging as Anti-Trump Employees Quit by the Hundreds

https://conservativetribune.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/EPA-downsizing-under-Trump-592x331.jpg

By Ben Marquis

Aside from the great news in time for Christmas regarding the passage of tax reform and a rapidly improving economy, Newsmax just shared more good news in relation to the downsizing at a certain government agency in dire need of being reduced.
The Environmental Protection Agency has long been viewed by conservatives as having become bloated and politicized, and were involved in far more things via overbearing regulations than simply ensuring Americans had clean water to drink and clean air to breathe.
The New York Times recently lamented that more than 700 disappointed and discouraged employees had left the agency since President Donald Trump took office.

Those 700 former EPA employees represent roughly one quarter of the 3,200 employees the Trump administration hopes to let go in its attempt to reduce the agency’s personnel by 20 percent.
Of those who have quit, retired or accepted buyout packages to step aside, the Times reports more than 200 of them are described as scientists, another 96 were “protection specialists,” nine were department directors, and dozens more were attorneys and various program managers.

The best part of all — in our view, though obviously not in the view of The Times — is that the vast majority of these departed employees are not being replaced, and many of their positions are simply being eliminated.
Trump’s criticisms of the agency, as well as the change in focus by new EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, have led to lower morale and an increase in grievances among the largely liberal workforce.

The Times noted that a downward trend at the EPA began during the prior Obama administration due to a tightening of the agency’s budget by the Republican-controlled Congress.

With Trump and Pruitt in charge, that trend will likely accelerate downward even faster.
But the hemorrhaging of employees from the EPA doesn’t mean work at the agency has ground to a halt. An agency spokesman said they are now doing “more with less” to accomplish their goals of protecting the environment.
“With only 10 months on the job, Administrator Pruitt is unequivocally doing more with less to hold polluters accountable and to protect our environment,” said EPA spokesman Jahan Wilcox.

As to the notion put forward by critics that Trump and Pruitt are purposefully attempting to push out experienced experts, researchers and knowledgeable scientists — “a departure in the mission” of protecting public health, so to speak — Wilcox also pushed back on that.
“People from across EPA were eligible to retire early with full benefits,” Wilcox said in an email. “We currently have over 1,600 scientists at EPA and less than 200 chose to retire with full benefits.”

In reality, the loss of employees at the EPA is simply part of the administration’s proposed plan to cut the agency’s budget by upwards of 31 percent, according to Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney.
“You can’t drain the swamp and leave all the people in it,” Mulvaney said. “So, I guess the first place that comes to mind will be the Environmental Protection Agency.”

Meanwhile WAGM-TV in Presque Isle, Maine, reported that state Attorney General Janet Mills had joined with those from 13 other states to demand in a letter to Congress that they cease the “deep and damaging” funding cuts for the embattled agency, decrying that further cuts would be detrimental to the state’s public health, environment, tourism industry and economy.
It is worth pointing out that the proposed budget cuts for the EPA by the House and Senate for Fiscal Year 2018 are far smaller than those proposed by the Trump administration — $650 million and $150 million, respectively, as opposed to $2.4 billion — but the states are still crying nonetheless.

Furthermore, though not explicitly spelled out in the letter from the coalition of state attorney generals, the threat of a potential lawsuit to prevent further budget cuts is implied by the fact that it was the AG’s sending the letter, and not a coalition of state EPA directors.
However, while liberals lament the downsizing of the EPA, conservatives can let out a cheer inasmuch as it has become a fairly solid general rule that anything viewed by liberals as bad for the EPA is in the end a good thing for America and freedom as a whole.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter to let everyone know about the flood of employees exiting the EPA since Trump took office that are not being replaced.

Animal Brothels Open in Germany as Migrant Population Hits 22 Percent

https://conservativetribune.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/animal-brothels-now-a-thing-in-Germany-592x331.jpg

By Ben Marquis
As the flood of refugees fleeing jihadist-filled war zones in the Middle East and North Africa have poured into Europe over the past few years, Germany has served as the final destination for a substantial number of them.
According to Reuters, Germany witnessed an 8.5 percent increase in their migrant population in 2016, placing the total number of residents in the country with an immigrant background at approximately 18.6 million people.

The Federal Statistics Office noted that roughly one-fifth of the German population — about 22.5 percent — were either first or second generation migrants with one or less parents of Germanic heritage.

To be sure, the majority of those migrants to Germany actually originated in other European nations and are descended from European heritage, but a significant minority of them — particularly those who have come in the past few years — have originated from the Middle East or Africa.
It is estimated that around 2.3 million people in Germany have familial links to the Middle East, a 51 percent increase since 2011. Similarly, the population of those whose families came from Africa stands at around 750,000, a 46 percent increase since 2011.

About 1 million of those migrants from the Middle East or Africa arrived in Germany as part of the wave of refugees in 2015 and 2016.
Meanwhile, and potentially entirely unrelated … the U.K. Daily Mail just reported on a substantial rise in cases of bestiality within Germany over the same time period, so much so that “animal brothels” have actually become a thing.

Yes, you read that correctly — bestiality, also known as zoophilia, the practice of humans having sexual relations with animals, is a growing trend and “lifestyle choice” in the prominent central European nation.
A livestock protection and animal welfare officer named Madeleine Martin is now warning government officials that laws must be put in place to stop the rapid spread of these brothels that allow and encourage people to have sex with animals.

As an example of the growing trend, Martin pointed to a particular farmer with a flock of sheep who noticed that his animals had become increasingly skittish around people.
The farmer had surveillance cameras installed on his property, and lo and behold, caught several men entering his barn at night to engage sexually with his flock.
Martin stressed that this was but one example of many similar cases she has compiled all across the country, and she wants the government to do something about it.
It is worth noting that bestiality was once illegal in Germany, but the law banning it was dropped from the books in 1969.

There had been talk in 2016 of reinstating the ban, but Martin is done with mere talking and is demanding that changes be made to the national Animal Protection Code to do just that — protect the animals from abuse by sexually deviant people.
The chairman of the agricultural committee, Hans Michael-Goldman, said changes could be made in the laws to forbid the use of animals “for individual sexual acts and to outlaw people ‘pimping’ creatures to others for sexual use,” which would effectively ban the “animal brothels” or “erotic zoos,” as some call them.

Violation of the newly proposed ban would likely result in a fine equivalent to more than $30,000 for a first offense, increasing thereafter. Of course, proponents of bestiality have vowed to fight any ban with legal challenges of their own, so we will have see how that plays out in court.

H/T Dangerous
Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter to spread the word about the significant increase in bestiality and “animal brothels” in Germany — occurring at the same time the country has seen a vast influx of migrants and refugees.
