In my opinion, this election is getting more and more bizarre by the day. The polls have a different candidate in the lead every day. It’s so difficult to know who to believe. Like I have said in the past, I listen and read a lot, but I am very careful to not exclude the common everyday people I talk to around me. When Obama defeated McCain, I was very sad, but not at all surprised. Then when so many people I admire and respect felt very confident about Romney winning, I tried really hard to agree with their reasoning and really wanted to believe he would win, but never was convinced. I distinctly remember watching the last few debates and telling my husband and friends…Romney is going to lose.

I think he could have turned things around if he was a bit bolder when questioning Obama about Benghazi right during the last debate when everyone was watching. I felt like he “chickened out” for some reason. I was told that Obama wouldn’t give a straight answer anyway and we all know that, but so many people don’t even know what happened in Benghazi. They really didn’t and many still don’t! This is the reality of the America we live in now… not informed. He had to ask questions on camera… live! “President Obama, Could you explain why four Americans died in Benghazi and why representatives from the White House said that this was caused by a video when it was clearly a terrorist attack conducted by Muslims that follow Islam while folks in the Pentagon watched?” Boom! Be that direct. Don’t the American people deserve to know what happened there? This kind of bluntness causes people to pay attention even if Obama gives us his usual “song and dance.”

I wish Bernie would ask her that now and save the Republicans the trouble. Benghazi is still an issue that hasn’t been solved. That’s very bizarre. Romney’s demeanor changed and he seemed less confident as the debates progressed. I am not a political analyst or a conspiracy person, but something changed… That was clear to me and I felt like he lost because of it. The whole thing was strange. All I could come up with is Romney seemed like a good man, but nobody is perfect. Maybe something happened we don’t know about?

This campaign is already really weird to me and we haven’t gotten past the primaries. I am still not convinced that we won’t have a President Clinton or Sanders in the White House. By now you would think that Hillary and Bernie don’t stand a chance. We had disastrous seven years with a Democrat as President and Hillary is still clearly involved in the Benghazi cover-up. I find it bizarre that we don’t hear much from Obama these days at all. It seems like he kind of disappeared from the news. We have Hillary; she is “advancing” from coughing, cackling, criminal activity to barking! What in the world is she doing? Trying to bark away her way into the White House? Yet her supporters don’t seem to budge and she is still in the race. She is a women with the big “D” attached to her name and she can solve everything. She will make everything fair!

Then we have good old Bernie. He will make everything fair too. I mean, it really isn’t fair that people who work very hard to stay motivated, create and/or achieve their goals and earn a good living as a result, get to keep their hard earned money. Right? They are supposed to give their money to the slackers. Bernie is going to make everything “free.” Bernie didn’t hold a real job until he was 40! He is really appealing to the college kids that have been indoctrinated in our “free” public schools. Let’s make college free now too because it worked so well in elementary schools and high schools! Nobody ever appreciates anything that comes easy… but we forgot that as a nation. These young adults have been taught that America is evil and capitalism just isn’t fair. Everyone should be equal, no matter what. These poor souls actually believe that liberalism means liberty and freedom… We are in trouble because they actually vote. God help us.

The Republican side is bizarre too. Why are so many Americans voting for Trump when he clearly has been very liberal his whole life? He is a loud, strange, very wealthy man. Is that what America likes? No serious Christian should be casting a vote for him simply because he thinks the biggest provider of abortions in America, Planned Parenthood, does some wonderful things. As if that “trumps” all the killing of innocent life in the womb? He should be history by now to the logical thinker that values all human life… even the unborn.
Rubio wants to reduce abortions. Cruz wants to abolish them altogether. Rubio, Bush and Christie think it’s ok to draft women! Only in a wussified nation would this even come up. I know Christie is out, but seriously people, why would you consider these other two guys? This blows my mind. Why aren’t we all pushing the only completely sane candidate left with a great chance of winning? Of course, this is Ted Cruz. In a logical, sane world, where its citizens knew real history and used logic and critical thinking, this campaign would never be so bizarre. This is simply the process of elimination at work. Cruz is the last man standing.
