The hosts of The View got out their claws now that Ted Cruz has declared he is running for president.
The harpy klatsch wasted no time in
demanding to see Ted Cruz's birth certificate. Apparently, they've been
waiting for years to spring this clever trap on an unsuspecting
Republican.
Cruz, as you may know, was born in Canada to an American mother and a father who was a legal American resident. He also in 2014 formally renounced any Canadian citizenship. Most legal scholars agree he meets the constitutional requirement of "natural-born citizen."

Obama allegedly was born in Hawaii,
though for some mysterious reason he spent millions of dollars trying to
hide the document that could have proven that he was eligible to be
president in the first place.
Cruz voluntarily released his long-form birth certificate two years ago.
Obama never released his until April 2011, after he'd been in office for two and a half years. Once he did release it, it raised more questions than it answered, with numerous document experts declaring it a forgery, primarily because rather than being in one computerized layer, as the certificate would be if it had been scanned into a computer like the White House claimed, it appeared to be inexplicably in several layers, as if it were pieced together from other documents.
To this day, the questions around Obama's birth certificate are unresolved, not the least reason for which is the knee-jerk response of the Obama media, dubbing any questioning of the Obama birth narrative a "conspiracy theory," rather than actually seeking to answer the many questions.

Cruz went about declaring his
presidency the correct way, by revealing all his birth documents,
letting legal scholars weigh in and determining that he was eligible
before announcing his candidacy.
Obama created his own problems, sealing all his records, fighting legally to prevent any determination of his eligibility until it was long past any practical relevancy, and flouting the system, in which he was aided by a vast, left-wing conspiracy.
Which brings us to Hillary Clinton, the woman -- and Democrat -- who actually started all the birther rumors.

Apparently, the hosts of The View are ignorant of all of the above information. No surprise.
"I’m a Ted Cruz birther. I want to see the birth certificate," said Michelle Collins.
Whoopi Goldberg got up on her racial high horse, calling Cruz "one of the people that said, well, the president, huh, you know, I want to see your birth certificate. And you’re a mixed gentleman, right? You are mixed. I want to know, are you talking for the Cuban side or the white side? What are you talking for? See, now, when we turn it around, it’s not very nice. So luckily we have better stuff to concentrate on than where you were born, Ted. But do know that we are aware of some of the things you’ve said. ... Some of this is ignorance."

Yes it is, Whoopi. Yes it is.
The real reason the Left is terrified of Cruz, of course, is precisely because he fits their definition of "a mixed gentleman," as Whoopi said, yet he's a -- gasp -- conservative. And a charismatic one at that.
I've had the privilege of seeing Cruz speak live. There were no teleprompters and no stuttering renditions of a speech somebody else wrote that morning.
He was direct, forceful and intelligent, and he didn't pull punches. And most importantly, he is 100 percent American, not some bred-to-destroy socialist community agitator of questionable origin.
We'll see how things look after the media have had a chance to make up a half-dozen New York Times front-page lies about him, but for right now, Cruz is a thundering train pointing straight at the White House.
Illegal Alien predator of the View!
