GOP Won’t Fight Obama’s Executive Amnesty – So Now Obama will Try Executive Taxation

This is how things work, folks. Any parent could have warned the GOP about what would happen after they refused to fight back against Obama’s Executive Amnesty. Once he realized that the GOP were toothless and unable to respond in the face of pressure… he’d use executive action to accomplish his next seemingly “impossible” task.
On Monday White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told us all that President Obama was indeed “very interested” in raising taxes through executive action!

The admission came when someone in the press corps asked about a letter that self-identified socialist, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) recently sent to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, which called upon the President to use executive action to steal our money… er, I mean tax us.
When it comes to curbing corporate tax breaks, why wait?

That’s the message Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, an independent who caucuses with the Democrats, delivered in a letter to the White House on Friday. He called on the administration to curb six specific tax breaks through executive action that could raise $100 billion over 10 years.
“If Congress fails to address these problems, the administration should act on its own to close, at a minimum,” the six tax breaks, said Mr. Sanders, who is the ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee.

Press Secretary Earnest confirmed that the Obama administration was indeed seriously considering Senator Sanders’ ideas. Because Democrats LOVE raising taxes…
"The president certainly has not indicated any reticence in using his executive authority to try and advance an agenda that benefits middle class Americans

Now I don't want to leave you with the impression that there is some imminent announcement, there is not, at least that I know of. But the president has asked his team to examine the array of executive authorities that are available to him to try to make progress on his goals. So I am not in a position to talk in any detail at this point, but the president is very interested in this avenue generally," Earnest said.

Over the last 6 years taxes have done nothing but rise; at the same time our nation has been mired in an economic morass (which is not entirely the Democrats fault – Republicans have contributed greatly to our economic problems). The liberal fiscal policies of both parties have not helped our nation or our economy, indeed they’ve done the exact opposite, and Bernie Sanders’ ideas are simply piling more bad ideas on top of already terrible ideas.
However, none of this would even be a concern if the spineless GOP RINOs who folded to Obama’s illegal executive amnesty had stood up and fought for what was right. At the end of the day the liberals might be the cause of the problem, but the GOP hasn’t helped either.
