We are becoming a country of whimps...Torture?

Let's define the meaning of torture or to be more accurate...the place where the separation of men from boys takes place...where one is pushed beyond there proverbial/perceived place of comfort...torture per se is not torture but a place where a separation defines who and what we are ie: enhanced physical training or interrogation of ones soul and being!

Looking back to my High School years forward through life...trying out for the football team could be defined as torture under todays standards....verbal abuse,hard work,humiliation...blood,sweat and tears I survived as did many who wanted the proverbial lettermens sweater...fwd to Military training...hell even basic training could be considered torture I suppose...verbal abuse,humiliation,starvation,extreme physical demands,sleep deprevation...why you ask...? well to push one beyond there proverbial/perceived abilities...this continued through advanced training and got harder...not even going to state what Special Op's soldiers must endure during training{but they do have to suffer all that the CIA could throw out to captured non combatants ..hello!) ...it is meant to weed out the weak! and by know means intended to actually physically harm anyone but to weed out those who are not physically up to the demands...they can quit at anytime! If they really~ really want the Green Beret or Seal Badge they won't give up...#Period ... some make it some don't!

Now let's look at the CIA advanced interrogation techniques ..they are not designed to kill...but  just to push the interrogated to the breaking point...they are supervised by a attending physician to make sure no actual physical harm is administered.

I for one am so tired of elected officials from congress up through the ranks ending as POTUS/CIC  who never served in the military,law enforcement and most likely never earned a lettermans sweater (quitters) trying to tell the world how bad we are as a nation! IMHO they are cowards,weak and should never ever be allowed to run a country...I am a firm believer that our country should stay the course and make sure anyone who is elected as POTUS/CIC actually served in the military as George Washington did and set the example! This also applies to anyone who serves in high ranking administrative/supervisory  positions in government!
