Which inspired the Mel Gibson Movie "We Were Soldiers"...LTC Moore(Ret. Lt General) was a true commander who not only led but inspired his men on and off the battlefield, these are found far and few between in todays world of PC Commanders... LTC Moore reborne the 7th Cav of the failed Col Custers command...it was re-designated as the 1st Air Cav ...however LTC AllenWest is one of these few and far between non PC commanders of today!
