Saudi Arabia is our friend. During their visits, President George W. Bush held hands with and kissed Saudi King Abdullah. Barack Obama still bows to Abdullah during his visits, though Obama’s spokespuppet tried to deny it.
Saudi travelers were given “trusted traveler” status in March, allowing them to be fast-tracked through customs. At the time, then-Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet “Big Sis” Napolitano said there was a “special bond between the United States and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” Apparently so.
We buy oil from them. Lots of it. It’s where 18 percent of imported oil comes from.
Our friendship is so deep that when they attacked the U.S. on 9/11, we responded by attacking Afghanistan and Iraq.
What’s that you say? It was al-Qaida — a bunch of cave dwellers living in Afghanistan and funded by Osama bin Laden — that attacked the World Trade Center Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
That’s what the White House said. That’s what the mainstream media said. That’s what the “Joint Inquiry Into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001” said. Or did it?
Not according to two Congressmen who have read the redacted portions of the official 9/11 report. They said they were “absolutely shocked” to learn the level of foreign state involvement in the attacks. They can’t say which foreign state, though, without violating Federal law.
Representatives Walter Jones (R-N.C.) and Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.) have proposed Congress pass a resolution asking Obama to declassify the entire report. The only one available to the public is highly redacted. There are at least 7,200 words missing; they are replaced by lines. Aside from a benign word sprinkled here and there, pages 396-422 are essentially missing.
The censorship was ordered by Bush, no doubt to cover Saudi and Israeli involvement.
In alternative media there have been dozens of reports of Saudi ties and Israeli involvement. Those are written off as “conspiracy theory.” But even the mainstream media has done a little reporting of Saudi ties that include payments, shelter and meetings between Saudi businessmen and Saudi government officials and those identified as the 9/11 hijackers. When no planes were flying in the days after the attack, Saudis were whisked out of the country on special flights.
FOX News reported the Israeli ties, but that report has been shoved down the memory hole.
Is there a cover-up? Former Senator Bob Graham, who chaired the committee that wrote the report, says there is. He has asked for case files but can’t even get a redacted page. Bill Doyle, who lost his son in the World Trade Center attacks and heads the Coalition of 9/11 Families, said it’s a “cover-up beyond belief.”
It took Jones and Lynch months of letter writing to get their copy. It seems the House intelligence panel is holding tightly to the information. Other lawmakers seem uninterested in seeing it.
As I have told you many times, the official 9/11 story is a lie. That so many people continue to accept it is the true conspiracy.
