“The first to plead his case seems right, until another comes and examines him” (Prov. 18:17). I’ve been involved in mediation for more than 30 years. I’ve learned never to take sides. Even when you hear all the evidence, there’s always more.
I know we’re tired of the George Zimmerman trial, but there are people on the Left that want to keep racial fires burning for political, social, and financial reasons.
They need to crate a racial monster in the image of Frankenstein's monster so it can ravage the countryside with screams of "racism.
One good thing that has come out of all of this is that people who have been intimidated not to discuss racial issues are finally speaking up. Another positive sign is that even some very liberal black leaders are attacking the notion that the Zimmerman-Martin incident was about race. Leo Terrell, who NEVER agrees with Sean Hannity, took Hannity’s side in the “not guilty” Zimmerman verdict over against Juan Williams. Terrell also went after the obnoxious Melissa Harris Perry for her silly comments!

A post-trial interview with prosecution witness Rachel Jeantel by Piers Morgan was revealing. Her comment that she told Trayvon that Zimmerman might be a homosexual has not been widely reported. I wonder why?:

A post-trial interview with prosecution witness Rachel Jeantel by Piers Morgan was revealing. Her comment that she told Trayvon that Zimmerman might be a homosexual has not been widely reported. I wonder why?:
[CNN's PIERS] MORGAN: “And he was freaked out by it [Zimmerman following him]?”
JEANTEL: “Yes.
Definitely after I say may be a rapist, for every boy, for every man,
every — who's not that kind of way, seeing a grown man following them,
would they be creep out?”
She continued:
Her comments might explain why Trayvon was the aggressor. He went on
the attack because he thought, according to Rachel Jeantel, that
Zimmerman could be a homosexual who might proposition him or worse.
If what Jeantel says is true, then Trayvon was involved in a hate crime. If he thought Zimmerman might be a homosexual and he attacked him, then Trayvon was really guilty of criminal intent because he was truly homophobic. He had a real fear of homosexuals.
In our new enlightened culture, that is a thought crime.
But there’s no political juice for liberals when the racial angle was pushed so hard.
I’m convinced that’s the reason Jeantel’s interview has been ignored and even buried. The racialists need the story to be about race, not black prejudice against homosexuality.
“And people need to understand, he didn't
want that creepy ass cracker going to his father or girlfriend's house
to go get — mind you, his little brother was there. You know — now, mind
you, I told you — I told Trayvon it might have been a rapist."
