Clinton’s Signature Proves She Lied to Congress about Benghazi

Well she is consistent from college days to present...she just doesn't give a damn about anyone but Hillary!

by

In her testimony on Capitol Hill back in January, almost four full months after the terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya (because that’s how speedy our government is), then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the State Department never received any requests for increased security to the embassy that was to be attacked.
“They didn’t come to me. I didn’t approve them. I didn’t deny them,” she said of the security requests.

But honestly, what difference, at this point, does it make?
Well, if Republicans in Congress could muster up the conviction, the courage, the energy to question Clinton the Professional Victim again, they would find that it makes quite a difference.
Recently released cables from that very same State Department reveal that Clinton, as a Clinton tends to do, was lying to Congress. According to a congressional report, “[A]n April 2012 State Department cable bearing Secretary Hillary Clinton’s signature acknowledged then-Ambassador Cretz’s formal request for additional security assets but ordered the withdrawal of security elements to proceed as planned.”

What difference, at this point, does it make? Probably no difference at all, since Republicans will likely let it go, just as they did with President Obama and Eric Holder’s nefarious Fast and Furious plot to have Mexican citizens gunned down by American guns as a pretense for outlawing so-called assault rifles.
We now have Clinton’s own, signed admission that she was asked for additional security in Benghazi and that she denied that request. She now needs to take responsibility for the deaths of the four American diplomats who were tortured and killed because of her decision.
I had a liberal tell me that if Clinton goes to prison, then Bush should be in the cell next to her since he caused more deaths than she did.
But this isn’t about deaths per se. It is about the deliberate denial of requested security and then the deliberate deception under oath about it. Nothing in that is analogous to what Bush did. “He started a war based on a lie!” No, Congress voted to go to war based on information that the majority of the rest of the world believed based on their own intelligence sources–including, by the way, the Clintons themselves.

What I can’t wait to see is a “Hillary 2016″ bumper sticker. It’s entertaining to me to see how low liberals will go, how deep the bottom of the barrel must be before they decide to stop scraping out the muck. Supporting a signature-proven liar that resulted in the deaths of four Americans is pretty low. But as we’ve seen in the last two elections, Americans unfortunately no longer have any standards.
