Mark Kelly on Gun Vote: 'Gabby Is Angry Today'

oped: while I sympathize with Gabby Giffords and the pain and suffering she is going thru as well as her Husband Mark Kelly...I must say they are both so wrong on the Gun Control Bill issues...there are already stiff laws on the books enforced by ATF....the issue is not safety by the Obama administration it is total control of the United States government..The Obama administration has every intent on destroying the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights in order to install a Marxist/Sharia Law/Facists form of government...he is following the lead set by none other than Hitler,Stalin and other dictators of recent history...you destroy the 1st,4th and 2nd Amendments first..then the takeover of unarmed citizens becomes a piece of cake.

I will answer Mark and Gabby's diatribes at the end of the article...imo both Mark and Gabby have become the ultimate poster children of Barack Obama and his dictator machine...they have also become hypocrits!

Mark Kelly expressed the anger that he and his wife, former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, feel today after the Senate failed to pass the Manchin-Toomey background check compromise.
"Gabby is angry today, and she's horrified by the decision of a minority of her former colleagues to block progress on this measure," Kelly said during a news conference at the National Press Club. "Gabby knows that passing that bill into law was the right thing to do.

"Along with so many parents from Newtown, so many of our former neighbors in Tucson, who were here in Washington this week, Gabby's disappointed, and she's angry, and so am I, but neither of us are deterred," he added.

Kelly said that some senators voted against the Manchin-Toomey bill "out of fear" and insisted that "if yesterday's vote was a secret vote, it would've passed no doubt.
"We are not deterred by the actions of a small group of senators who I really feel that history will judge as fearful obstructionists," he said.
Kelly said his and Giffords' super PAC, Americans for Responsible Solutions, is preparing to release ads thanking those senators who "showed some backbone in the face of relentless pressure and fear-mongering from the gun lobby." He said the group would air ads in the coming days supporting Republican senators Susan Collins and John McCain, as well as Democratic senators Mary Landrieu and Kay Hagan, who all voted in favor of the background check measure. While Americans for Responsible Solutions said its ads would start positive, Kelly said it would release ads attacking both Republican and Democratic senators who voted against the bill "at some point."

Asked if they plan on working to oust any senators up for re-election in 2014, Kelly said, "It's a target rich environment after yesterday."

Gun Shop Rescinds AR-15 Sale to Lib Mark Kelly – Questions His Intent

Former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ), a victim of a mass shooting in 2011, and her husband, Mark Kelly, testified before a Congressional panel on gun control in January. Kelly told the assembled members of Congress that modern weapons,
“Have turned every single corner of our society into places of carnage and gross human loss.”

Then he went out and bought an AR-15.

Now the gun shop where Kelly bought his gun has decided to rescind its sale to the former astronaut.
FOX News reported:
A Tucson gun store owner has decided to rescind the sale of a military-style rifle to Mark Kelly, the husband of former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, after Kelly said he had intended the purchase to make a political point about how easy it is to obtain the kind of firearms he’s lobbying Congress to ban.
Kelly’s March 5 purchase of an AR-15-style rifle and a 45.-caliber handgun at Diamondback Police Supply sparked a frenzy of reaction from both sides of the debate after he posted to Facebook a photo of himself shopping.
A background check took only a matter of minutes to complete, Kelly said in the Facebook post, adding that it’s scary to think people can buy similar guns without background checks at gun shows or on the Internet.
But Kelly couldn’t immediately take possession of the rifle because the shop had bought it from a customer. As a result, the store is required by a Tucson ordinance to hold the gun for 20 days to give the city enough time to make sure the weapon wasn’t used in a crime.
Store owner Doug MacKinlay said Monday in a Facebook post of his own that he “determined that was in my company’s best interest to terminate this transaction prior to his returning to my store.”

For the record… Mark Kelly may have committed a felony when he purchased his AR-15 by being a “straw purchaser” and committing perjury on the BATF form.

Multiple law enforcement sources in Arizona told Breitbart News that Mark Kelly’s campaign against “assault weapons” has generated resentment within the law enforcement community–and a desire that the photograph be made public.
