Gabe noted that Obama got into schools based on
affirmative actions and not his marks (grades). This may well have been
the case. I am a white male who in 1969 as an enlisted man, had to take
the difficult Air Force Officer Qualification Test (AFOQT) to qualify
for entry into an air force commissioning program. I made it and in 1972
I became a commissioned officer. Minorities were exempt...they didn't
have to test; it was an opened arms invitation for certain minorities to
come on in.
