Bundy Case Attorney Takes Aim After IG Probe Finds BLM Agent Guilty of Misconduct

I've been covering the Bundy Ranch now going on three years.  As trials of political prisoners on trumped up charges by the central government loom, charges that have either been dismissed or they have been acquitted of in Oregon, the Bureau of Land Management agent in charge has now allegedly been found guilty of misconduct by the Inspector General; and a Bundy case attorney is going after him.

On Wednesday Attorney Chris Rasmussen  filed a Motion For Review of BLM Personnel Records after a scathing report released by the Office Of The Inspector General, said  a Special Agent In Charge of the BLM was found to have committed Ethical Violations and Misconduct during an event in 2015 called “Burning Man” held in Black Rock Desert, Nevada.
The report contained points of interest for attorneys fighting an uphill battle in the Bundy Ranch case, especially the part about the Special Agent trying to intimidate and influence witnesses in his ethics investigation.

Daniel P. Love, who is believed to be the Special Agent in Charge the report is referring to, was also the Special Agent In Charge of the Bundy Ranch Cattle Impoundment of 2014.  Complaint after complaint was filed against Dan Love before, during, and after the protest, but failed to catch the eye of the Inspector Generals Office. This time the complaints came from within the BLM staff itself and it looks as though the “Super-Agent” will finally be held accountable.
This revelation came as no surprise to the people who live in States in which the BLM has taken on the role of Law Enforcement under the direction of Special Agent Daniel P. Love. Locals say they can attest that misconduct is an almost daily routine for the agency.

Chris Rasmussen, the Attorney of record for Pete Santilli, the journalist being held without bond after being swept up in a series of arrest stemming from the 2014 protest, wasted no time in demanding the court release the unredacted document filed by the Inspector Generals Office on January 30th, because he believes Dan Love may be the agent that was investigated and the Governments star witness in their case against Cliven Bundy and co-defendants.

Mr. Rasmussen says that if  Daniel P. Love is the agent being charged in the Inspector General’s report,  his client and other co-defendants have a right to know and be allowed to impeach his testimony, if he takes the stand.
Just two weeks ago, I met with Santilli at the Souther Nevada Detention Center and we discussed some of Love's misconduct, as well as the evidence that would exonerate every single person the central government is holding without bail.  Santilli called out the misconduct after prosecutors in the case filed a motion to protect the BLM from any scrutiny during the trial.  In essence, they were seeking to cover up the criminal actions and lawless conduct of armed BLM agents that surrounded Bundy Ranch.
According to Santilli's co-host, Deb Jordan, though Love was abandoned by the FBI, the Clarke County Sheriff's Department and the Las Vegas Metro Police, Daniel P. Love threatened reporter Pete Santilli, who sought to reason with Love, just as he did with the FBI in Oregon for a peaceful resolution to the matter.  His attempts were in vain.

One protester believed lives to be in danger and commented, "There was never ever any talk of invading the 1 million dollar compound Daniel P. Love erected on the Gold Butte or forcefully taking back any cattle; it was always the plan to protest until the release occurred naturally, said one witness who has asked to remain anonymous.  We went down into the wash under the assumption the BLM had left the area and that is where we were met by 200 armed agents who said they were ready to use lethal force. It was very frightening and confusing, we said a prayer and moved forward to face a BLM, we thought had left hours before. "
Former Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore also stood at Bundy Ranch alongside fellow citizens of Nevada and Americans.
"You know what?" Fiore said.  "I am just pissed off that this dirty SOB has been protected from being prosecuted for his outrageous behavior at Bundy Ranch – Scoring a few tickets and having sex with his girlfriend in a BLM trailer at “Burning Man” is the least of his offensives."

"This man is the same guy who threatened to use lethal force against American Citizens and Elected Officials – myself included – during the protest at Bundy Ranch," she added.  "How the hell did he ever get by with that?  And now it’s just disgusting that the Nevada BLM has the audacity to speak poorly of  our elected, President Donald Trump while never saying one thing about this mad-man being permitted to threaten protestors without any repercussion?"
"This guy actually disobeyed the direct order of our State Attorney General and beat people up and arrested them when he had no authority to do so," she continued.  "In the wash that day the BLM made fun of our Metro Las Vegas Police and County Sheriff Tom Roberts instead of obeying a direct order to put away their Long Guns.  I’m telling you all right now, Daniel P. Love disrespected the authority of our Nevada State Attorney General and  Local Law Enforcement, and almost caused a terrible tragedy.  There was no damn conspiracy – We all went down into that wash to set cattle free because the Sheriff said the “operation” had ceased and the BLM was leaving – We were almost killed by that raging lunatic;  It’s just that simple." 

Fiore then offered a solution to the problem at hand.  "At this point I think the right thing to do in this situation is, to let our men who have been wrongfully accused of threatening the BLM, out of jail and put Daniel P. Love, the real criminal, in jail for a very, very long time."
She also mentioned the fact of Love's misconduct in another area.  "While they’re at it I think they should also look into the allegations of misconduct during the 2012 Winter Olympics when an on duty Dan Love was presumably observed by his men in a dark corner of a bar getting up close and personal with a woman he had had drinks with instead of providing security for the diplomats he was charged to protect."
And she threw in his previous involvement in a story that I reported on in 2016.  "Maybe they should take another look at the operation Dan Love conducted in Utah that lead to the suicide of three people including Dr. James Redd in Blanding, Utah."

"I think it’s high-time somebody say enough is enough and tell us the truth; That Daniel P. Love was demoted – not promoted this year – because he can’t handle the overwhelming responsibility of picking up the trash on our Public Lands without threatening to kill someone, and has finally been relegated to a desk job where he can’t hurt people," Fiore said. 

If this was not enough, a retired BLM agent also spoke out against the BLM in January 2016.

In 2012, Steve Martin sat in a briefing room at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia, New Mexico, listening to the details of a clandestine operation his agency was planning in the Nevada desert. The goal seemed commendable — to round up rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle, which had been grazing illegally on public land for decades — but the means seemed off to the Arizona-based special agent for the federal Bureau of Land Management. It was full of optimistic bravado, he recalls, and it was missing a key ingredient: cooperation with the county sheriff. Says Martin: “I remember thinking, ‘Is this still the BLM?’ 

GMN also added regarding the comments of Ryan Bundy at his pre-trial hearing this past Tuesday,

During his pre-trial release hearing on Tuesday, Ryan Bundy revealed that at least 200 gunmen (BLM Agents and or Parks and Services) were involved in the April 12th protest, and that many of them could be heard  laughing while choosing the protestors they wanted to kill, including horses and dogs.
Ryan Bundy also stated for the record, an agreement had been made between the Sheriff’s Department and the Bureau Of Land Management on April 11th, 2014 – that said the impoundment operation would cease immediately   – a full day before the final protest on April 12th.  Mr. Bundy quickly pointed out the flaw in the indictment by asking the question, “If there were no operation on the 12th, and if the cattle were already being released — how is that impeding?”

The BLM is out of control.  They believe their authority supercedes the Constitution.  However, they are an illegal agency, as the Constitution does not provide for them to uphold the laws of the Constitution.  Rather, it is the citizen militia that is to do so.

#OathKeepers response to the pseudo Militias at #BundyRanch

This advisory will be an encapsulation of a much larger story with numerous feature or peak points to reveal in coming weeks and months. The Bundy Ranch Revolution against federal land management within the several States is positively huge. My comment to Stewart Rhodes regarding the gravity and significance of the Bundy stand is that it is a watershed moment in Twenty-first Century American history, and I am totally proud of Oath Keepers for jumping in with the Bundy family and their good neighbors.

And that is true. And that is why Oath Keepers is being kicked in the teeth by people purporting to be pillars of the patriot community. Justice will arise from the smoke of this obvious fray, and it won’t take very long. Oath Keepers would seriously like to thank Sheriff Mack and his CSPOA and Mike Vanderboegh and his national Three Percenters movement. 

But this advisory is not the place to develop themes which can reveal who and what is trying to sabotage the Bundy stand against federal land management. This advisory is just to let our members know that we’re all over this. Regarding your humble servant, I’ve been so heavily inundated with articles, videos, audio files, phone calls and emails – all relative to this affair – that I’ve been unable to even crystalize a simple concise report with which to update our people on what’s really been happening there at the ranch. I also have not been able to talk with Stewart to wish him a happy birthday. Stewart is traveling home to Montana with Renn and company so Stewart can be home with his family for his birthday. I shall get to other details as they can be assimilated – there is much material to share with our readers, and some of it is quite remarkable. Some follows in this advisory.

Bundy Ranch Advisory for April 29, 2014

Yes, it is true: Oath Keepers received a bizarre bit of leaked info which could not be verified but which also could not be ignored. Our contact is connected with the Department of Defense – or “was”. The info we received stated that Eric Holder of the Department of Justice had okayed a drone strike on the Bundy ranch near Bunkerville, Nevada, within a 48 hour period over the weekend of April 26/27, 2014.

That, fortunately, turned out to be “dis-info” – a false rumor. And though it came from a trusted source, Oath Keepers could neither prove nor disprove it. Oath Keepers is thankful that the rumor was false and no one got hurt. Oath Keepers also is aware that the source of that rumor requires debriefing, which would hopefully lead to the author of that operation. It was a directed attack on Oath Keepers to do several things including gaging our comms depth, our speed in Intel, and study how we responded. The project’s cheerleaders were already implanted in the militias operating on-site at the ranch, so that when Oath Keepers responded to the rumor new forces would be ready to pounce on Oath Keepers.

Oath Keepers is doing excellent work at the ranch. We are in touch with the family and they wish to continue working with us. Oath Keepers are encouraged to donate at our website or send checks directly to Cliven and Carol Bundy (* see below) 

This mis-info came from a trusted source, a former Special Forces soldier with significant connections inside DOD. Though the info was unbelievable, in the present climate generated by the BLM and Senator Harry Reid (who called the ranchers and their friends “domestic terrorists”), Oath Keepers decided that the info must be regarded as indicating that a drone attack was at least “possible”.

Knowing that this sort of info is at least bizarre, Stewart and our Board members who were there at the ranch finally, after painstakingly going over all possible angles, decided that this should be handled just as the authorities would handle a bomb threat at a school – evacuate the kids from the school immediately and then sift for the bomb, if indeed one turned out to exist there. Stewart knew this was a potential trap for Oath Keepers, but felt that he could not remain quiet about the info which had come to us. Better safe than sorry, in a nutshell, defines his thinking on this. Oath Keepers is tremendously happy that nothing happened and that this was a bad tip, a piece of “dis-info”, a “psy-op”.

On the basis of that, Oath Keepers alerted the Bundy ranch and all who were working there this past weekend. Oath Keepers advised people there to consider evacuation. Now we’re being attacked on many fronts in the backwash. 

Let’s take a moment to assess the psychological environment in which this rumor was active. The BLM had already accosted members of the Bundy ranch on the road, tackling a woman roughly, letting one of their combat dogs loose on Ammon Bundy (Cliven’s son), and tasing him in a confrontation brought about when armed fedgov troopss accompanied a BLM effort to round up the Bundys’ cattle and the Bundy family came out to protest. Ensuing days saw rising tensions and a build-up of troop levels by the BLM, which had finally amassed a veritable army which included S.W.A.T. and helmeted combat agents and snipers. The Bundy’s children could look up and see snipers aiming rifles at them from ridge-lines. There was much fear, much agitation, and much tense concern, as we might imagine each of us would feel if a federal agency sent troops into our own yard.

So that was the temperature on the ground leading into last weekend. But in the national political environment we saw a very damning picture presented by a Nevada Senator named Harry Reid. Senator Harry Reid greatly fueled the tensions nationwide, deliberately. Reid, as the whole world knows, publicly declared that the Bundy family and their neighbors and supporters were “domestic terrorists”. Yes, believe it or not, a sitting U.S. Senator actually said that. His statement is now coming home to roost. Here is why. 

All Oath Keepers know that President Obama signed into “law” the infamous NDAA-2012, which placed American citizens under military jurisdiction. Under the NDAA-2012 any American citizen may be picked up by the military and placed in custody under a military tribunal – without even being charged with a crime – and – without benefit of a lawyer – and – may be held indefinitely until the so-called “war on terror” is finally over, which some politicians have said could last a hundred years or more. We also know that the USA PATRIOT ACT of 2001 greatly released restrictions on government enforcement agents and permitted them to violate American citizens’ unalienable rights. We all know that the NSA is collecting all of our communications. We know that dissent against current policy in government is being targeted by government agencies including the IRS and DHS.

Additionally, our situation includes the observation that Americans now bear the brunt of more than 70,000 S.W.A.T. raids a year, mostly over victimless so-called “crimes” or just to serve warrants. Our police are being militarized and under the command of the US Department of Homeland Security are now in effect an extension of a standing army being readied to control mass dissent among the people. (See: NORTHCOM in Colorado, which is now home of the first US military deployment of combat troops on US soil. Worse, we note that federal agents are now militarized and are extensions of the military, same as are our local police. All are interfaced under DHS authority. We notice that the BLM placed combat troops online against the Bundy family, pointing military guns at our cowboy citizens in an unacceptable and unforgiveable portrait of enforced tyranny. The fedgov cannot take back the fact that they brought a ghastly army down to bear on an American ranching family and their friends. They did it. 

Further, we also know for fact that the President has a private, secret “kill list” of people his Administration may consider killing on sight, sans any due process, simply on the President’s word.

So all of that is in the picture here as we look at the “leak” which got everyone excited. Considering how bizarre that listing of government sins-against-the-people really is, it’s not such a far reach to understand why a threat of a war-on-terror-styled attack in retribution for the Bundy cowboy defeat of the BLM gov-thug soldiers earlier this month is not such a far-fetched idea after all. At the very least, and under current environment terms, letting people know the nature of the alleged threat was the right thing to do.

In the wake of this remarkable anomaly, I see that some so-called “patriots” have gone to exaggerated extents to attack Oath Keepers. The hysteria levels are up past flood-stage markings. We have people accusing Oath Keepers of many different offenses, including stealing money we collected for the Bundy family. Oath Keepers has resources and attorneys and a good name to protect. Regarding the money-related accusation, the Oath Keepers book-keeper just informed me that we have raised more than forty thousand dollars for the Bundy Ranch operation, and of that sum we have presented a check for $12,500.00 to the Bundy family – not cash, a check. All accounting will be available in coming weeks as receipts are collected, and our membership may know with confidence that full reckoning will be completed. Here is part of the statement I just got from our book-keeper: 

“Here are the things I know we bought, food, water, ice, clothing, tents, field equipment/supplies, port-o-potties and travel expenses for the OK BODs and anybody willing to take rotating shifts out at the Bundy Ranch. We also gave the Bundy’s $12,500.00 via a check, not cash.”

She told me that we’ve taken in more than forty thousand dollars.

Please allow me to explain something in better detail. First, Oath Keepers raised that money from sympathetic members and supporters. We are very proud of everyone who shouldered the cost of doing this at the Bundy Ranch. We presented the Bundys with the check for $12,500.00 without any stipulation – it is their money to do with as they choose, and we need no accounting from them regarding that money. We will be able to account for all monies we’ve taken in. Oath Keepers is grateful to every member and supporter who sent money to this project, and we stand honorably to account for that money.

Also regarding the money part of this operation: The following is a video showing part of what that money accomplished at the Bundy ranch. Oath Keepers has played a powerful role in how the public came to see the justice in Cliven Bundy’s battle for his State’s right to own and manage its own land. We work with People Against the NDAA, and we work with the Tenth Amendment Center, among other fine organizations including the Fully Informed Jury Association. 

We understand that the Bundy affair is classic and that Mr. Bundy himself is a patriarch of our American heritage and as such he is to be protected by the people at all costs. His vision is in harmony with that of the founders, and we all know it. When Oath Keepers brings in to the Bundy Ranch out-of-State legislators, and when CSPOA and Oath Keepers bring in men and women from our Peace Officer community to stand by Mr. Bundy, the power in the unique outreach style of Oath Keepers becomes clear. Oath Keepers is happily hosted at the Bundy Ranch by the Bundy family. A film/video is en route to Montana right now, riding by car with Stewart, for editing and subsequent posting to our YouTube channel. That video will feature Stewart himself in powerful expressions of the principles on which Cliven Bundy stands, and the direness of the hour in our Republic’s history, and the need to overcome the UN’s Agenda 21 domestic usurpations carried via now-stolen “federal agencies and departments” such as the Forest Service and the BLM. The BLM’s policy is mirrored in Agenda 21, and the entire Bundy Ranch affair traces back to corruption in internationalist-federal deal-making in the name of the People’s government. Chinese management of Nevada land is at the bottom of this, as Alex Jones exposed Senator Reid’s connections with a Chinese firm wanting to operate a solar energy farm on land related to the eco-plans for developing that site, which included moving a population of desert tortoise from that site to the area where Bundy’s cows graze – and that was a problem for EPA as well as the Endangered Species Act, which caused seriously-armed federal force to move in to make sure that the Bundy cattle were removed from the new home of the tortoise – correct me if I’m wrong. This is United Nations covert activity inside the United States and it involves the planet’s largest Communist nation, China. The Bundy connection connects also the relationship of the BLM to the Reid family. It is deep stuff. 

And that is why suddenly, as Oath Keepers is getting into gear to ramp up and build upon this defense of the people against the BLM’s tyrannical forces, and as we are making awesome strides, all hell suddenly breaks loose with the militias, who in a surprising twist of fate, have decided to destroy Oath Keepers at the same time we’re hit with a rumored leak about a drone attack being possible. Sheesh. The militias are being unruly about it, and somewhat rude, assuming that the word “rude” includes threatening to shoot Stewart or his officers in the back “for desertion” – if you can believe that. Some of the alleged militia leaders are threatening to accost Oath Keepers’ leadership if leadership step foot on the Bundy Ranch. That is fairly rude, but that has actually been said.

Other accusations bordering on the absurd are being passed around, and it appears to be a concerted or choreographed Internet activity as if designed by anyone wanting to discredit Oath Keepers. There are pieces to our puzzle which are not yet on the table, but it is obvious that somebody wants us shut down and will use what national media coverage exists to smear us to a progressive audience we would not otherwise know existed. 

A typical FBI psy-op would plant “leaders” in every militia they could infiltrate. What those sorts of FBI agents or surrogates do is always “handled”. Some of the purported “leaders” of the militia at the ranch are doing exactly what any agent provocateur would do after having infiltrated the militia and claimed a role in leadership. Did you notice the massive ego about who is going to command who? Did you notice the drama in the tendency to speak of Oath Keepers as if we were a militia, which we are not. These militia “leaders” would judge us by battlefield standards even though there has not been a “battlefield” since April 12, 2014? They would shoot us for desertion? Really? That is amazing, and is the kind of bumbling consciousness which a conditioned and programmed special warfare officer or a federal agent would offer if he had to think on his feet of a sudden.

I’ll confide something with you. Let us not be deceived about the real strength and power of the true American militia. Let us examine any militia which opposes the historic role of the Constitutional militia of the several States. Yesterday I had a longish phone conversation with Mike Vanderboegh, who was wanting to think-tank some stuff with me for concurrence in what we might do next to combat the idiocy being circulated presently. All you III%ers listen-up. As Mike and I were talking about the situation I said something to which he replied, “Well, how do we know that *they* are *the* militia of the people?” I pondered that and thanked him for bringing it up. 

We were suggesting that the FBI (and other related groups) firmly believes in creating its own opposition for purposes of controlling it from atop and within. The model is searchable online as “COINTELPRO”. The fedgov infiltrates all social and cultural segments of America’s population. It is best to presume that the militias across America are all infiltrated. If you want to see the leadership of the co-opted militias currently at the Bundy ranch, you will have to search for a video put out to smear Oath Keepers. The link I had last night (April 28, 2014), is now invalid. The video of a circle of men denouncing Oath Keepers and threatening Oath Keepers with being shot in the back as “deserters”, and accusing Oath Keepers of stealing from the Bundy family, will give you the true insight into the steroidal psycho-pathic dreamwish of little boys playing “Army” in the fields near the house forty and fifty years ago, who somehow retained that aloofness and swapped it for a job with a badge or uniform and a gun and a retirement plan that could be counted on, or worse, in some cases, self-proclaimed “officers” who never bothered to go into the military when they grew old enough to enlist, or never made the police force. If just one of those militia leaders’ personal scenarios, isolated into private little spheres of command and control as they may be, could be synthesized and condensed for distribution to the vast majority of thinking Americans – if these aberrations were not so sad, they would be funny, and I might have more to say to and about the mental states possessed by such “patriots” in coming times. But whatever the situation in anyone’s perception, Oath Keepers is not a militia and we do not take our marching orders from any militia. We merely support the idea of reinstating the Constitutional Militia of the several States as revealed by Dr. Edwin Vieira, Jr. 

This much is certain: The federal government has many agencies and contracting private-sector corps to which it can send requests for certain clandestine or covert actions in the public sector. All Oath Keepers officers are aware of that, and we stand strongly and without fear, to oppose the tyranny which has gripped our nation. In the face of personal hardship, discomfort, and deep-seated concerns about personal safety, our officers, myself included, actually live the fight for liberty every day. We have noticed that the more successful our mission becomes, the more flak is thrown at us. My comment today is, “When we look about, who today is tossing slings and arrows at Oath Keepers? To see who is trying to destroy Oath Keepers, we see those who make wild accusations, unfounded charges, and imaginary scenaric situations glossed over by their berserk egoism which presupposes that the rest of the world can’s see their motivation and their jealousy and their fear.

Know this. Oath Keepers has a contingent on the ground there right now working in an Oath Keepers-directed security op. I’m told my good friend from Kalispell, Montana, Brother Paul Stramer, is down there with equipment for comms at present. And Sheriff Mack sends me this word regarding the continuing stream of Sheriffs who will come to the ranch to stand with the Bundys: 

“I spoke with SR yesterday. There were no wounded. Bundys are still happy with all help. Yes, we are still
sending in Sheriffs. Christopher will be there tomorrow.” - Sheriff Mack to Elias Alias April 28 2014

Now that should read “today”. So we are continuing our presence at the Bundy Ranch at Bunkerville, Nevada. All Oath Keepers should continue to plan on going there as “boots on the ground” to help the Bundys.

The Utter Hypocrisy of the Government in the Bundy Ranch Trial

The utter hypocrisy that is being demonstrated in the Bundy Ranch trial by those who swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution from both foreign and domestic enemies is quite telling as to the level of corruption we are seeing in our land today.  Furthermore, it is demonstrating that many of those who have taken that oath not only don't know what the Constitution says, but also have become the very domestic enemies they proclaim to oppose because of their ignorance.
First, take this update from Guerilla Media Network's Deb Jordan.



"Judge Gloria Navarro presiding over USA vs Cliven Bundy says, if the Prosecution does not call Daniel P. Love to the stand she is leaning heavily toward not allowing the defense to call him to the stand either," Jordan wrote.  "In a shocking statement made outside the earshot of the Jury this past Friday, Navarro said that she has no obligation to allow the defense to call the former Special Agent in Charge of the Bundy cattle impoundment to the stand for the purpose of impeaching his testimony to the grand jury."
No obligation?   This is the government's star snitch, I mean witness, Bureau of Land Management agent Daniel P. Love.  Perhaps, the reason lies in the fact that the BLM's conduct at Bundy Ranch was thuggish and tyrannical (Watch Video evidence of their misconduct here and here).  Perhaps, the reason lies with the fact that Love was found guilty of misconduct by the Inspector General on a number of issues, including using his influence to obtain tickets and special passes to the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert.  He was also instrumental in driving Dr. James Redd to the point of suicide over his collecting of Indian Artifacts in 2009.
As for Judge Navarro, citizens are planning to issue a letter to Congress calling for her impeachment due to her conduct in the case.

However, that is not the whole of what is taking place in Nevada.  The Nevada Independent reports:
Although no shots were fired that day, federal officers previously testified that alarming investigative intelligence, combined with the guns present in the agitated crowd and para-military dress of some of the protesters, made them afraid for their safety. Six defendants the government describes as Bundy’s gunmen are on trial accused of  threatening and intimidating BLM and U.S. Parks Service law enforcement officers.

In recent weeks, on cross examination, the defense has managed to portray the federal cops as inexperienced wannabes who lacked judgment and overreacted under stress. After the decision was made to discontinue the roundup, some of BLM rangers and Park police initially refused orders to put away their weapons, stand down and pack up. Some of their responses under oath made them appear more fearful than professional.

But the defense this past week had little success with Metro Sgt. Tom Jenkins and none at all with Sheriff Joseph Lombardo. 

Additionally, there was testimony by Metro Sgt. Tom Jenkins, who claimed that protesters were flashing handguns and rifles "from the time we got there until the time we left."  However, he remained steadfast in his claims even though lengthy recorded exhibits didn't always agree with his testimony.  Someone is not being truthful or has a really bad memory that cannot be trusted.

Jenkins claims his officers were "scared" and "crying."  Really?

Then there was testimony from Lombardo.  Again, from The Nevada Independent: 

When Lombardo’s took the stand Thursday, he reminded those who have followed his career that the public needn’t worry about his leadership skills. An assistant sheriff at the time of the standoff, Lombardo accompanied Sheriff Doug Gillespie to Bundy’s makeshift stage outside his ranch in an attempt to cool the heated rhetoric and avoid bloodshed. He stood patiently during Bundy’s windy grandstanding and impossible demands — disarm all federal law enforcement and bulldoze the entrance booths at the region’s federal conservation and recreation areas — and then returned to Las Vegas believing the botched cattle roundup was reaching a peaceful resolution.

For the first time jurors saw video of the elder Bundy holding forth with armed, uniformed members of the Arizona State Militia, who call themselves the “Praetorian Guard,” standing guard. Dozens of his hundreds of followers were armed with handguns and rifles.

When Bundy instructed his followers to go get his cattle, Lombardo’s day grew complicated and dangerous. He attempted to negotiate with one of Bundy’s sons, Dave Bundy, in a plea for patience and enough time to allow the BLM to make a safe exit.

It was Lombardo, jurors learned, who essentially put his career on the line to overrule BLM Supervisory Special Agent Dan Love and press for the release of the impounded cattle during the height of the armed standoff’s tensions.

“He advised me they were federal cattle and it was his decision,” Lombardo said.

Fortunately, Lombardo prevailed.

On what constitutional basis do Cliven Bundy's cattle become "federal cattle"?  There is no victim any what the government is portraying here.  Furthermore, just because a video shows armed citizens protecting one another from a tyrannical BLM, something that even Sheriff Lombardo was willing to stand up to, doesn't mean they were breaking the law.  Seriously, is no one reading the Second Amendment?  Do none of these people know why we have it and what provoked the writing of the Second Amendment?  or the First? or the Third? or the Fourth, etc. etc.?

While the author of the Nevada Independent piece concluded, "Bring guns to a peaceful protest, and you’re bound to get everyone’s attention," what he failed to identify is who brought them first.  The response of protesters with guns was an equal and measured defensive response to tyrants, period.  Now, you can see the utter hypocrisy and lack of moral compass that is on display in this case.

Another BLM report entitled Regional Mitigation Strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone (BLM Technical Note 444) reveals that Bundy’s land in question is within the “Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone and surrounding area” which is part of a broad U.S. Department of Energy program for “Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States” on land “managed” by BLM. “In 2012, the BLM and the U.S. Department of Energy published the Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States,” the report reads. “The Final Solar Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement assessed the impact of utility-scale solar energy development on public lands in the six southwestern states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.” “The Approved Resource Management Plan Amendments/Record of Decision (ROD) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States implemented a comprehensive solar energy program for public lands in those states and incorporated land use allocations and programmatic and SEZ-specific design features into land use plans in the six-state study area.” Back in 2012, the New American reported that Harry Reid’s son, Rory Reid, was the chief representative for a Chinese energy firm planning to build a $5-billion solar plant on public land in Laughlin, Nevada. And journalist Marcus Stern with Reuters also reported that Sen. Reid was heavily involved in the deal as well.

Prosecutors Seek to Protect BLM from Scrutiny in Bundy Ranch Trial

It appears the government wants to hide the illegal actions it has taken, along with those of the Bureau of Land Management in the Bundy Ranch trial that is soon to begin.
On Tuesday, Prosecutors in Las Vegas filed a Motion In Limine  in the case of The United States vs Cliven Bundy et al.  They are hopeful that Nevada District Court Judge Gloria Navarro will allow the US central government to “cover-up” any wrong doing by Bureau Of Land Management agents during the 2014 Bundy Ranch siege.

An attorney for one of the defendants told Guerilla Media Network, "It’s a shocking blatant attempt by the Government to cover-up the brutal conduct of  BLM agents that caused a near catastrophe in Bunkerville, Nevada during the impoundment of rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle."

The motion is a draconian attempt at best to “protect” government agents from being exposed to further scrutiny during the upcoming Nevada trials in which they will be under-oath to tell the truth.

The defense in this case is centered around civil rights violations of the Bundy family and protestors who came to Bunkerville, Nevada to protest an overreaching government agency who had beaten and incarcerated Cliven Bundy’s son Dave Bundy and other protestors, used a stun gun on his son Ammon Bundy, viciously attacked Mr. Bundy’s sister Margaret, and terrorized peaceful protest with threat of snipers and military force.

Further the government which successfully used the idea that some of the defendants in the Oregon trial of the United States vs Ammon Bundy et al .. were also involved in the Bundy Ranch “armed” protest as a reason to deny them a pretrial release, now ask the Judge to not allow any reference to that case including the fact they were acquitted.

"It is what it is and we will fight it," said Chris Rasmussen, attorney for reporter and radio show host Pete Santilli.  "The government wishes to eliminate anything we could use that goes to the defendants' state of mind .. and we cannot allow that to happen. "Do we or do we not still live in America?" said former Nevada State Assemblywoman Michele Fiore on Tuesday in response to the motion.  "One way or the other the truth will be told and I would like to see them stop me from voluntarily giving my testimony when this trial begins."
Fiore has already told about some of the evidence that is known to exist concerning the criminal BLM, including audio and video from body cameras, and even spoken out on their crimes on the Nevada Assembly floor.

Carol Bundy, Cliven Bundy’s wife, reacted in a similar manner, "So what kind of defense are we allowed to have if we can’t tell the truth?  Because if the Government has it’s way it looks like we will not be allowed to have any defense at all."
The central government has been at the center of coverups.  Among them have been Waco and Ruby Ridge.  They have sought and are seeking to do the same in the Bundy case just as they are attempting to do in the case involving the murder of LaVoy Finicum and as they have done concerning Daniel P. Love, the man in charge of the aggressive nature against the Bundys.
I met with Santilli on Saturday at the Southern Nevada Detention Center and he informed me that he believes with the evidence they have, that everyone should be acquitted of the charges against them.

He went on to state to GMN:
Sure, they would love it if we all just went into this trial docile and defeated, not willing to fight them, but that just isn’t going to happen. The Bureau of Land Management went to Bundy Ranch with a clear disdain and lack of respect for the Bundy Family. Dan Loves Objective fell just short of scorched earth policy; We can prove it, they know it and they are very, very afraid of that.  As I see it, we have them right where we want them, why would they file such a ludicrous Motion otherwise?  This Motion has the “BLM is guilty” written all over it and I for one think that’s great news. 


If the Government gets it’s way and eliminates the fact that Daniel P Love gave agents the authority to beat up on Bundy Family members and was not acting in a rational way during the impoundment, if the Jury is not allowed to hear what elected officials told Love in response to his brutal actions, and if there was never any reason whatsoever for protestors to be in fear for their lives, then I believe any Jury worth it’s salt is going to be very suspect as to the validity of this case.  I mean, if nobody did anything wrong, then why the hell are we having a trial? 


Judge Navarro has demonstrated that she is just as corrupt as the BLM and the politicians surrounding what is going on in Nevada.  Just look at what she has done to Santilli and Cliven Bundy.  Does anyone really believe she is not going to accept this motion?

Militiamen and woman camping on Cliven Bundy’s cattle ranch are packing up and heading to Utah where another protest against the Bureau of Land Management will happen Saturday.

Ryan Payne, a Montana resident who had been staying at the ranch for a month, said he drove eight hours to arrive in the eastern Utah town this morning. Three militia members from the ranch and a handful of people from a group called Citizens Action Network came to Utah, too, he said.
"This is where it’s happening Saturday,” he said.
They and others Saturday will be armed, he said, and ride ATVs into Recapture Canyon, an area the BLM declared off-limits to motorized vehicles in 2007. The ride is organized by San Juan County, Utah, Commissioner Phil Lyman.
Payne met Friday morning with the San Juan County, Utah, Sheriff Rick Eldridge. Afterward, he said he expects Saturday’s protest to be peaceful because Eldridge pledged to “protect us from the BLM.”

Also in Utah this week, two people in a pick-up confronted a BLM wrangler on Interstate 15. They drove by wearing hoods and held a sign that said, “You need to die.” One of the men pointed a handgun at the wrangler, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
At Recapture Canyon, federal officials aren’t planning to send armed federal agents to the Utah protest like they did with the Bundy ranch in April. The BLM’s show of force, including tasering one of Bundy’s sons, helped spark a heavily armed confrontation between federal agents and the Bundy militia on April 12.
Megan Crandall, BLM Utah spokeswoman, told The Durango Herald the BLM will not be sending “reinforcements” to the area.

Eldridge was out at the scene of tomorrow’s protest, a woman who answered the phone at the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office said. She pointed to the office’s Facebook page, which contained this statement today:
“San Juan County Sheriff's deputies will be at the event in Recapture Canyon on Saturday, May 10th. Our deputies will be there to keep the peace and protect the Constitutional rights of everyone involved. We feel this will be a peaceful event and encourage everyone to be respectful to one another and allow individuals to exercise their First Amendment right.”

Payne said Eldridge’s stance is “180 degrees” different than the reaction from the Clark County sheriff’s office during the Bundy-BLM confrontation.
“This is a continuation of the Bundy affair,” Payne said of the protest. “But it kind of shows the flipside of what happens when the sheriff upholds his oath.”
Similar to the Bundy Ranch fight, this one has gone on for years and has been tinged with strong rhetoric. In 2011, someone posted “Wanted, Dead or Alive” posters near the canyon, the Salt Lake Tribune reported, threatening a group that wanted more protection for the area.

Cliven Bundy Case: Defendants Accuse Govt of Altering BLM Video Evidence

In the latest news out of Las Vegas, Nevada concerning the Cliven Bundy case, in which numerous defendants' freedom and liberty itself is at stake, the defendants have claimed that the DC government has tampered with video evidence from the Bureau of Land Management in the case and is hiding that by not disclosing the discovery to the American people.
Guerilla Media Network reports:
Defendants in the case of United States vs Cliven Bundy et al.. are accusing the BLM [Bureau of Land Management] and the FBI of altering dashboard and body-cam video in an attempt to cover-up their aggressiveness during the 2014 protest that led to the arrest of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and 18 others. 


Defendants are also accusing the FBI "infiltration team" who posed as a documentary film crew called Long Bow, of editing video at crucial moments to make defendants who gave interviews look guilty of crimes they did not commit.

On at least 5 different occasions the defendants in the case say that video used to gain their indictments and create the Governments narrative that has kept them all in jail pending trial, was clearly altered at crucial moments to hide what they believe would expose the BLM as the aggressors and not the "victims" as Prosecutor Steven Myhre contends.

We have found at least 5 different clear cases of evidence tampering and have only viewed 1/4 of the discovery that was recently released to us by the Prosecutors office say defendants, who have begun the process of creating a power point demonstration that will be viewed by defense attorneys on October 7, 2016. 


On April 9th, 2014 a video was released by Guerrilla Media Network [Pete Santilli] that showed the brutal tazing of Cliven Bundy's Son, Ammon Bundy.  During that protest there was also a vicious attack by a BLM agent on Margaret Houston, a 57 year old cancer survivor and Cliven Bundy's sister.  It was not until Fox News picked up the video and aired it live the following morning on the program Fox and Friends,  that people from across the Nation felt compelled to pack up and come to Bundy Ranch in protest of the aggressive attack on the family.   While the defendants are not allowed to disclose  what was said by BLM agents leading up to the  attack on protestors, they allege that at least 5 seconds of audio recorded during the protest on April 9th,  was altered by the BLM to cover-up what BLM agents actually said. 


Defendants also stated, that BLM video shot during the protest on April 12th, 2014 – of protestors that accompanied Ammon Bundy to retrieve cattle Sheriff Douglas Gillespi said could be released, was again altered to omit some of what Daniel P. Love and other agents were communicating back and forth to one another.

Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore produced a short video to speak about the failure to disclose what the BLM actually said on both video and audio recordings regarding their thoughts of murdering innocent protesters and animals at the Bundy Ranch back in 2014.  https://youtu.be/oC-YIyWBYmQ




Fiore mentioned some of the comments made by the BLM that were not altered, such as:

• BLM joking about which peaceful protesters they were going to kill
• BLM talking about which horse they would put down first
• BLM joking about which human they were going to put down first
• BLM joked about making Bunkerville bigger than Waco by a hundred times

Then there is footage from the BLM that has obviously been altered, in which several minutes of footage is missing (1 to 4 minutes). What is the purpose of the video if you are allowed to turn it off or edit it as you see fit? What good does that do?
Additionally, Fiore mentioned body cam and dash cam video evidence that is being kept from the American people where the BLM literally beat Dave Bundy and kidnapped him. This is all being withheld from the public.
Tell me something America, would you sit there and be entertained by it, like you are your politics? Or would you act and demand that the BLM agents involved, every member of the FBI, judges and anyone at the local level or at the federal level be immediately arrested and tried for their crimes?

Fiore then gave kudos to Sheriff Doug Gillespie and undersheriff Mr. Roberts, along with the Las Vegas Metro Police for standing alongside the Bundys and the protesters.
She then said that if you are part of a media outlet to get this information out to the public to email her at Michele@votefiore.com.
In closing, Deb Jordan adds, "We believe if the public could hear and see what the BLM was saying and doing for the duration of the protest, before and leading up to the BLM confronting the protestors by threatening lethal force, the narrative would go back to what it was initially about and that is that a Government agency was violating the civil rights of a rancher and his family and those of the people who came to protest the brutality of it."
"Magistrate Peggy Leen enforces an order that tells the public, you may scrutinize and repeat all of the bad stuff the defendants said on social media but you are not allowed to see and repeat all the bad stuff the BLM was doing and saying behind the scenes that led up to such a passionate protest by the defendants and other protestors," she concluded.

A Shocking Twist in Bundy Ranch Case, New Video Proves BLM Aggression!

The first of three Bundy Ranch Trials is finally underway and testimony from Government witnesses has begun but already a shocking development has occurred.

A video surfaced online showing previously unseen footage from the Bundy Ranch protest in 2014. Defendants have always insisted that the Government escalated tension in the Tuquop Wash on Saturday, April 12th 2014. Leaked video shows federal agents being instructed to sling or put their long guns out of view. Instead, Special Agent in Charge Daniel P. Love deployed militarized BLM and US Park Police agents who subsequently pointed their weapons at protesters. Body cam footage records agents laughing about shooting animals and speaking as if they wanted an armed confrontation.




The narrative and timeline of events has always been disputed. Defendants insist that the Sheriff had announced that BLM’s roundup of Bundy cattle would cease. Eager to watch the cattle return to Golden Butte, protesters met horseback riders in the Tuquop Wash who would guide the cattle under the highway and back to the range.
They arrived to find federal agents with weapons raised and repeated attempts to tell them to disperse. People with binoculars could see snipers positioned on elevated ground behind the wash. The aggressive nature of federal agent’s action caused some citizens to take defensive postures out of the reasonable concern for grave bodily injury or death.

The Government would have people believe that Bundy dispatched an armed assault force to retrieve his cattle. Although it is well-documented that the Sheriff had already announced a cease of roundup activity, this video depicts a concise but accurate version of events in the wash and includes video clips that incriminate BLM agents for the escalation of tension.

The video also shows BLM agents asking people to relocate to a First Amendment Area. It goes on to show the arrest of Dave Bundy for photographing the militarization of agents in the area. Later it shows body cam footage of agents talking casually about killing protesters in the wash. Substantial portions of the video have never been seen publicly. If the video is any indication of what lies in evidence under protective order by the Court, the Government has a lot of questions to answer; and the wrong 17 people are going to trial.

20 Cowboys Break Fed Blockade in Nevada, Retrieve Cattle

Ammon Bundy, the son of besieged Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, told Infowars reporter David Knight today around 20 cowboys went on land claimed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and retrieved cattle.

“We gathered about 30 head,” said Bundy. “We did have a small confrontation with them, but they didn’t have the forces to do a whole lot. They couldn’t mobilize fast enough and we were able to gather those cattle and get them to the ranch.”

Cliven Bundy and his family are currently engaged in a standoff with the BLM over a long standing refusal to acknowledge a 1993 modification to grazing rights on land that Bundy asserts has been in his family since 1870. On Saturday, hundreds of federal officials, aided by helicopters, low flying aircraft and hired cowboys, began rounding up Bundy’s cattle in northeastern Clark County.

Bundy’s dispute with the feds escalated yesterday when several of his supporters were assaulted by BLM officials. The BLM is currently rounding up Bundy’s cattle in order to enforce a regulation in order to protect an endangered desert tortoise after 600,000 acres of public land was reclassified as federal property.

During that confrontation, Ammon Bundy, was tasered. His sister, a cancer victim, and a pregnant woman were assaulted by BLM agents.

Protesters chanted “no BLM” as the standoff came to an end. BLM agents began to leave while being yelled at to “get out of here!”

Ammon told Knight and Infowars state representatives will address demonstrators later today.

Reports: Company Tied to Reid's Son Wants Land in Bundy Standoff

The Nevada rancher who forced the federal Bureau of Land Management to back down last week may have been targeted because a Chinese solar company with ties to Sen. Harry Reid's son wants the land for an energy plant, several websites report.

A report on Godfatherpolitics.com,  says Chinese energy giant ENN Energy Group wants to use federal land as part of its effort to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel-building plant in the southern Nevada desert. Rory Reid, the son of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, is representing ENN in their efforts to locate in Nevada.

Part of the land ENN wants to use was purchased from Clark County at well below appraised value. Rory Reid is the former Clark County Commission chairman, and he persuaded the commission to sell 9,000 acres of county land to ENN on the promise it would provide jobs for the area, Reuters reported in 2012.

In addition to the county acreage, the federal Bureau of Land Management at one time was looking at BLM property under dispute with cattle rancher Cliven Bundy. The BLM is headed by former Harry Reid senior policy adviser Neil Kornz.

According to BizPac Review, BLM documents indicate that the federal property for which Bundy claims grazing rights were under consideration by a solar energy company. Those documents have since been removed from BLM's website, but BizPac quotes from one of them:

"Non-Governmental Organizations have expressed concern that the regional mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone utilizes Gold Butte as the location for offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development, and that those restoration activities are not durable with the presence of trespass cattle."

"Trespass cattle" is a reference to Bundy's herd. Bundy's family has grazed cattle on the land since the 1870s, and Bundy maintains he has grazing rights to the federal land. But he hasn't paid his federal grazing fees in 20 years in a dispute with the BLM.

BLM agents hired contract cowboys earlier this year to seize hundreds of head of cattle and were moving in to seize the rest when militia members from across the country and other supporters showed up last week.

Citing a dangerous situation, the BLM backed off its efforts and returned Bundy's cattle Saturday, but it has vowed to continue fighting him in court and administratively.

In its effort to get Bundy off the land, it has attempted to get him to reduce his 1,000-head herd to 150, The Blaze's Dana Loesch reports. Bundy says his ranch would not be viable with a herd that small.

The BLM claims a need to control grazing on the land to protect an endangered desert tortoise. But Loesch and others note that in August, the tortoise population in a nearby conservation center was set to be euthanized because of underfunding.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service denied those reports, saying that only unhealthy tortoises would be euthanized and others would be relocated. But KVVU-TV in Las Vegas reported that the agency didn't say how many of the tortoises in its care were deemed "healthy."

Further, Loesch reports, Harry Reid pressured the BLM to change the tortoise's protected zone to accommodate developer Harvey Whittemore, one of the Democrat's top donors. Whittemore was convicted in May 2013 of making illegal campaign contributions to him.

"BLM has proven that they’ve a situational concern for the desert tortoise as they’ve had no problem waiving their rules concerning wind or solar power development," Loesch writes.

"Clearly, these developments have vastly affected a tortoise habitat more than a century-old, quasi-homesteading grazing area. If only Clive Bundy were a big Reid donor."

Yesterday, amid the reports about the stand down by the Bureau of Land Management, I was concerned that things were not as they appeared to be. Specifically, I pointed to the fact that the Federal Aviation Administration had set up a no-fly zone over the Bundy Ranch with a three mile radius that is effective for one month. That is still in effect. Investigator Doug Hagmann, of The Hagmann and Hagmann Report, is also just as suspicious as I am. He told Steve Quayle on Saturday evening that he believes the people are being hoodwinked into believing that the situation is being resolved. It is not. It is a strategic de-escalation to fool the public.

This source stated that the retreat of the BLM agents and the release of the cattle was actually crafted as a potential plan yesterday (Friday, 11 April 2014) based on the following:

1. A military assessment of satellite and drone surveillance imagery of the “patriot resistance. Drones under the control of the U.S. military were in use, taking real-time photographic images of not just the activity at the ranch, but "identifying the protesters, any arms and any supplies they might have or be carrying. “Mission accomplished.”
2. Real-time communication intercepts between patriots on-site and their off-site support;
3. Active monitoring of internet traffic regarding the coverage of events at ranch;
4. The monitoring of real-time video from the scene.

This source stated that a response by the patriot movement was anticipated, although exceeded their expectations. Although this was a real operation, they also ran this as a test case for future government operations once they saw the response. They were also actively managing the media, in some cases threatening to cut off White House access to anyone covering the event.

Despite this, the coverage by the alternative media began to create a public relations problem that was not easily managed. Note the lack of acknowledgment by the White House regarding this event. They are intentionally framing it as a state issue, despite the fact that all federal response has been and continues to be from the White House. There is a reason for this – a reason that has not been identified in any of the public reports to date. I will explain in further detail in a follow-up report on Sunday, after this source attends [redacted] to obtain more specific information about future federal operations. Regardless, according to this source, the government will take back ‘their land’ as they must to fulfill international obligations. It was never about grazing rights or anything other than (1) “securing clear title” to the land, and (2) further demonizing any patriotic resistance. It is my understanding, based on the information from this source, that it is a critical task to create a situation that will also advance their agenda of gun control and confiscation.

Liberty Movement Rising #BundyRanch #OathKeepers

The label of “fringe” is a common one used by statists, bureaucrats and paid shills in order to marginalize those who would stand against government corruption. The primary assertion being sold is that the “majority” joyously supports the establishment; and the majority, of course, is always right.
The liberty movement, which is a collection of numerous freedom organizations and political activists brought together by a shared philosophical bond, has been accused of “fringe” status for quite some time. With corporatist dominance over the mainstream media for decades backing an elitist machine in Washington and a global banking cartel footing the bill with money created from thin air, any such accusation can be made to seem “real” to those who are unaware.
The problem has always been a matter of physical action giving rise to an acknowledgment of numbers.

We have all heard the old story of the debate within the ancient Roman government over the idea of forcing the slave population to wear distinct armbands so that they could be more easily identified among the regular population. The concept was rejected on the realization that if the slaves were given a visual confirmation of their considerable numbers and strength, they would be encouraged to revolt against the Roman tyrants. That is to say, as long as the slaves felt isolated, they would remain apathetic and powerless. Of course, that was not always the case. Sometimes, a small group would stand up despite their supposed isolation, and the rest of the world, wide-eyed and astonished, would take notice.
The liberty movement has just experienced one of its first great moments of realization and empowerment in Clark County, Nev., and millions of past naysayers have been shell-shocked.
I covered my views in detail on the Bundy Ranch saga in Nevada in my article “Real Americans Are Ready To Snap,” amid the usual choir of disinformation agents and nihilists desperate to convince Web audiences that the liberty movement would do nothing to stop the Bureau of Land Management’s militant assault on Cliven Bundy’s cattle farm. This assault included hundreds of Federal agents, helicopters, contractors hired essentially as cattle rustlers and even teams of snipers.



The statists and socialists were certainly out in force to misrepresent the Bundy issue and frighten anyone who might consider taking a stand for the family. The Southern Poverty Law Center, not surprisingly, was hard at work spreading lies and disinformation about the confrontation in Nevada, painting a picture of fractured patriot groups and militiamen with “little training” going to face Federal BLM agents and likely “ending up dead.” The SPLC insinuated that the movement was ineffective and in over its head.
The reality was much the opposite. Liberty groups arrived in droves and were staunchly unified — not by a centralized leadership, but in defense of the basic moral principles outlined in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Sources on the ground at the Bundy ranching operation relayed to me that at least 1,000 activists and militia members arrived over the weekend, with many more on the way. This one event proved certain points:

1. The liberty movement is not afraid to put itself in harm’s way for the right cause — even if this means facing off against highly armed government thugs.
2. The liberty movement has the ability to field a response team or even an army anywhere in the country at any time within a couple of days.
3. The liberty movement has the ability to change the course of events, even to the point of removing Federal agents from a region who are acting in an unConstitutional manner.
4. The Federal government is not invincible, nor is it unfazed by liberty movement opposition. They worry about our strength and ability.

Over the past weekend, we witnessed the true influence of the liberty movement. As thousands of activists and militia arrived in the area, the BLM finally began to understand what it was facing. The government agency that has been terrorized farming communities throughout the West for years, the agency armed with military-grade weaponry and hundreds of agents, ran away as freedom fighters descended on the region.

Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval and Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie, two politicians who were deathly silent during the beginning of the Federal incursion on the Bundy ranch, have now suddenly become vocal in defense of Nevada ranchers against the BLM. It’s amazing how “inspired” politicians can become to do the right thing when they see an army of liberty activists marching against tyranny.

Not only was the BLM forced to remove itself from the area, but it was also forced to relinquish all the cattle it had stolen from Bundy over the course of the past week. Here, liberty groups close in on the cattle holding pens of the BLM and take back Bundy’s property.

Statists and socialists are indignant and furious over the surrender of the BLM. The same people who boasted that liberty activists would be slaughtered by Fed agents are now frothing at the mouth because they did not get their massacre. Not only that, but the bureaucracy they worship has shown itself to be impotent in the face of Constitutional champions. All I can say is nothing puts a bigger grin on my face than to see statists cry like babies when their delusions of grandeur are trampled on.
This was a major victory for the liberty movement. But let’s be clear; the fight is far from over.
I suspect that the Bundy event will be spun by news agencies and the government until it is unrecognizable. They will claim that the BLM left not because they were wrong, but because they were trying to keep people safe. They will claim that liberty movement protesters were the aggressors and the poor BLM agents were just trying to do their jobs. They will argue the so-called Federal legality of the raid itself, and paint Bundy as a “freeloader” who refuses to pay taxes and who is living off the American people. They will do everything in their power to destroy the image of the victory and soil the name of the Bundy family.
What they don’t seem to understand, though, is that the liberty movement does not care what the Federal government deems “legal” or “illegal.” Our only interest is what is Constitutional and what is moral. The dispute was never about the “legality” of Bundy’s use of the land, which his family used for grazing without interference for generations — until 1993, when the BLM used the absurd endangered species protection racket to put all of his neighbors out of business and threaten his ranch with invasion. Statists continually attempt to argue this issue from the standpoint of Federal legality, obviously because the Federal government has the legislative and bureaucratic power to make any despicable action legal (at least on paper) if it wishes. The liberty movement has no interest whatsoever in Federal interpretations of legal precedence. We care only about what is right. As the old saying goes, when injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty.

The liberty movement also fully understands that the Bundy victory was only one battle at the beginning of a long war.
The BLM may very well be waiting for activists to leave the area before attacking again. And even if that is not the case, tyrannical systems have a way of attempting to make up for signs of weakness by escalating violence during the next siege. That is to say, we should expect the next event involving the BLM or other government agencies to be even more vicious than the Bundy incident. It is simply the natural inclination of totalitarian systems to exaggerate their power when their failings have been exposed.
That said, it should be noted that corrupt leadership often crumbles in the face of steadfast resolve and courage. We have a long way to go before this Nation is once again truly free, but the liberty movement has proven its invaluable worth over the course of the past several days. We arrived at a crossroads, and we are now moving forward in the right direction — without fear and without regret. It is in these moments when history is made — when common men and women thwart the odds, defy the darkness and make good on their beliefs by risking everything in the name of freedom.
