oped: This would be a wise decision being that EXXON Rex Tillerson supported global emissions-cutting Paris agreement forged in 2015 ... acknowledged the threat of climate change and the company he heads endorsed a carbon tax ...

There's new buzz that President-elect Donald Trump could be eyeing Carly Fiorina as his pick for secretary of state.
Trump could be moving toward the former Hewlett-Packard CEO as talk of a Senate confirmation battle loomed over Trump's reported pick of Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as secretary of state.
Fiorina was scheduled to meet with Trump in New York on Monday. Add to that talk of her as a potential secretary of state was overheard at the annual Pennsylvania State Society (PSS) meeting at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, near the Trump Tower.
“Carly would like a position in the Trump administration,” a longtime GOP strategist attending the PSS meeting, told me under a promise of anonymity. “And she is much more than a CEO.”
