Writing Friday afternoon on Facebook, only hours after it was announced that the British people had voted in favor of separating themselves from the European Union, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced that it was time for the United States to follow suit.
“America can learn an encouraging lesson from this,” she wrote. “It is time to dissolve political bands that connect us to agendas not in our best interest. May UN shackles be next on the chopping block.“
President Barack Obama’s face likely turned redder than a tomato when he heard about this post, since he happens to be a shameless cheerleader for the Union Nations.
He also believes strongly in interdependency and has no appreciation for self-determination and national sovereignty. In his naive judgment, it behooves individual nations to relinquish control of their own futures to a centralized authority, be it the European Union or the United Nations.
The Founders knew better. Just take a look at the first sentence they wrote in the Declaration of Independence, which Palin included in her Facebook post: “When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another …”
As Palin noted in her post, the “Brexit” vote was in many ways the British people’s own Declaration of Independence.
“Congratulations, smart Brits,” her post continued. “Good on you for ignoring all the fear mongering from special interest globalists who tend to aim for that apocalyptic One World Government that dissolves a nation’s self-determination and sovereignty … the EU being a One World Government mini-me.”

The same applies to the U.N., in that it too is a “One World Government mini-me” that aims to appropriate power from individual nations like the United States.
And since the Brits possessed the courage to separate themselves from
the European Union, we as their number one ally ought to have the guts
to once and for all rid ourselves of the United Nations.
