The glaring and frequent violations of law by this President and his associates continues to surprise many people. More surprisingly, the almost complete lack of consequence.
What happened to the IRS investigation? What about investigations into Benghazi, Libya generally, funding the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, arms shipments to Jihadists in various places, the total failure and questionable activities in and around Syria, interference in Israeli elections, criminality surrounding ObamaCare, attacks monthly on private enterprise, bankrupting the country, the use of the Justice Department to silence political opposition, selective enforcement, encouragement of illegal immigration, intentional security breaches on the border and on and on.
Many have said law enforcement and congressional committees have been reluctant to prosecute the first black President, for obvious reasons, but justice is supposed to be blind. We have forsaken many cherished values and procedures in our march to national suicide.
The reasons Obama has been able to get away with so much lawlessness:
— weak and cowardly “leadership” in Congress;
— a partisan and lazy mass media unwilling to conduct real investigative journalism;
— a general population so demoralized and uninformed, few care enough to hold officials accountable.
The fact we have corrupt people as presidential front runners proves we no longer care about ethics, morality, good government or a healthy society, preferring the Culture of Crass to conscientious self-government.
The danger is: the longer this continues, the more we invite complete collapse, the trigger to martial law, dictatorship, and the forever loss of liberty in America. We have gone so low, only the Savior can effectively intervene.
