Hi there,

As President Obama prepares to deliver tonight’s State of the Union address, prominent story lines are coming in from audience members invited to attend the speech.

Bill Straub, one of our Washington-based reporters, highlights invitations from members of Congress for the big night. They include one from Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) to Sean Hannity, the conservative radio host who vowed to leave New York after Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s harsh comments against conservatives.

Another notable invite comes from Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-Okla.) to Charles Woods, father of a Navy SEAL killed during the Benghazi terrorist attack in September 2012. Immigration reform advocates, a small business owner and a survivor of the 2009 Fort Hood shooting massacre have also been welcomed by various lawmakers.

Our Washington editor Bridget Johnson has details on the invitees over on the White House’s end. Its guests include bombing survivors from the Boston Marathon, an NBA player who recently came out as gay and a first responder from Moore, Oklahoma. Get her details here.

She’s also reporting that the White House is promising an “exciting and surprising” Tuesday address in which President Obama is expected to weigh in on income inequality and executive action. Additionally, Roger L. Simon responds to President Obama's potential mention of “global warming” or “climate change” in front of this audience.

Throughout tonight’s speech, follow us on Twitter to see real-time comments from members of the PJ Media and PJTV teams. And be sure to visit PJMedia.com and the PJ Tatler for post-speech analysis and reaction.
