So it’s Independence Day, 2016 and I’m a seventy-years-old man with wrinkles and wet eyes.
The wrinkles are a testament of how I forged my view of the world for over half a century, as I now can see it looking back. Live and Learn.
Experience untied to time does not exist; and that explains the “old man with wrinkles” part of the sentence above. But what about the wet eyes?
I am a sensitive man  who cannot bear too much reality, as I learned back in the 1960s in Viet Nam.  I don’t cry easily. But it can happen, if only very rarely. And this morning, July 04, 2016, Independence Day, in the wee hours, it happened.  Here’s how.
Back in early June I traveled to the little town named Plains, Montana, to join a rally for Jake Ryan’s release from jail. Thirty-seven patriots had been jailed for daring oppose federal abuse of States Rights. Jake Ryan was one of them. The rally turned into a celebration as Jake was released.
I drove back again the next day to attend a speaking event produced by Dan and Roxsanna Ryan, Jake’s parents. LaVoy Finicum’s widow, Jeanette Finicum, was among the speakers. I bought a copy of her late husband’s novel.

The title is “Only By Blood And Suffering“. This weekend I took time off and read the book. Just finished it. That is why my eyes are wet.
It is Independence Day, 2016. The man who wrote this book is dead and there is no getting him back this side of the grave. Knowing that he is dead, and how he died, put a filter over my mind as I read his book. I had written about him, had posted my favorite of his videos, had followed the whole Burns, Oregon situation, but I did not read LaVoy’s book until this weekend.
I am blown away. I had no idea the man was a writer. Wow. He grabbed me early on and built a surprising drive in me to follow his story page by page. It is a cowboy’s take on Independence.
Yes, it’s that, but it’s also a tense portrait of a family’s struggle to unite and save themselves as society breaks down in the aftermath of an EMP attack. That is the context in which LaVoy Finicum developed his story. What surprised me this weekend as I was reading his novel was how, in tracing the trials and courage of a rancher’s son and daughters as they struggled to get home to their ranch and safety, LaVoy skillfully packed the principles of freedom into the narrative and action of the book.

LaVoy Finicum left no stone un-turned as he wove the nature of “government” itself into the flesh-and-blood experience of humanity in mankind’s endless struggle to achieve full freedom.  He paints pictures in words, words which expose a —

“…long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object [which] evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism…

LaVoy packed into his story the values of personal responsibility, of reverence, love, courage, dignity, and commitment to a personal code of honor. He did that (and much more) in contexts of modern-day cowboys who live yet on the land while a wobbly world is under NSA satellite surveillance, federal regulations, Homeland Security’s tyranny, political correctness, advertising, “news”, economic manipulations, and other blights on our freedom as Americans with a traditional way of life on our vast natural lands within State borders.
There is treachery, gunfighting, spying, crowd-manipulation, defense of farm, food, and family. There is also a damning indictment on crowd mentality, which I laud him for doing masterfully. In the middle of all that LaVoy has also developed a tender romance which I found to be compelling as well as reassuring. My claim is that anyone who reads this novel will love it, and all patriots (and especially their good neighbors) simply must read this book.

As I already noted, I did not know LaVoy Finicum was a talented writer. I tried my hand at doing a bit of writing myself. I know what is involved in developing a story and I was floored at how masterfully LaVoy built this book.  The characters are fully developed, the action is ever-so plausible, the facts of life in a cowboy’s world are refreshing and encouraging.  This book will inspire a generation and reinforce the patriot movement greatly.
My point in talking about this book is simple. The original patriots, those Colonists who defied their government to throw off subjugation and establish thirteen free “sovereign nation-state Republics”, found their success only “by blood and suffering“. LaVoy reminds us that nothing has changed.  To me, personally, the dominant challenge which I felt riding like wild horses through his novel is simple – will I stand for freedom?

Arizona Representatives Demand Transparency in Death of LaVoy Finicum

More than one dozen Arizona representatives signed a letter that was sent to Oregon Governor Kate Brown with reference to the investigation surrounding the murder of LaVoy Finicum during the occupation of Oregon's Malheur national Wildlife Refuge.
The letter was addressed to Governor Brown, Oregon Rep. Greg Walden and FBI Director James Comey on May 6, 2016 by Rep. Bob Thorpe and was signed by another twelve members of the Arizona House and Senate.
"Recently, it was reported in the media that you Governor Brown, and your Representative Walden, have expressed concerns about the actions of officials concerning the January 26, 2016 traffic stop and shooting death of our unarmed Arizona rancher, Mr. LaVoy Finicum," the letter stated. "Governor Brown, you released a statement in which you called into question the actions of federal agents, and described the report as 'troubling, and properly the subject of an ongoing investigation.' Representative Walden, you stated that you were left 'bewildered by the role of the FBI agents.'"

The representatives share similar concerns to those expressed by Brown and Walden. However, as we have pointed out through emails and text messages from in and around Governor Brown's office, it seems quite clear that Governor Brown was merely a useful idiot, just like Sheriff David Ward, the FBI and the Oregon State Police in the murder of LaVoy Finicum, and that her actions were merely the string pulls of the Obama administration.
Speaking of the FBI, they are supposed to be conducting an internal investigation of two of their agents that illegally fired on LaVoy Finicum and apparently attempted to coverup the evidence.
The Arizona representatives pulled no punches in their letter.
"After gunning-dwon and killing the unarmed Finicum, who was shot in his back 3 times, the federal government now has the audacity to label Finicum, and the citizens who peacefully assembled along with him, as domestic terrorists," the representatives wrote.

They then listed several of those who exercised their right to peaceably assemble under the protections of the First Amendment.

The letter went on to state, "Many Arizonans knew, morn and miss LaVoy Finicum, and I am confident that he was not under any circumstances a terrorist. According to the people who knew him, Finicum was incapable of spreading fear and harming America, which is the very definition of a domestic terrorist. In fact, by all accounts Finicum was someone who only intended to spread an understanding of the needs of the people living within the west. Additionally, he pointed out how the western states, that have hundreds of millions of acres of untaxed federally-controlled land within their boundaries, have not been treated equally in comparison to eastern states."

"Our nation was founded by men who not only questioned the arbitrary and capricious actions of unreasonable authority, but who also stood up against that authority, and in so doing, forged a Constitutional Republic," the representatives added. "Finicum's actions are insignificant in comparison to those of Adams, Madison, Jefferson and Washington. If our nation's founders lived today, would they merely for political reasons be vilified and labeled as domestic terrorists?"
Well, don't look now Arizona Representatives, but indeed they are being vilified and labeled in that manner. School curriculum that's being churned out by Common Core advocates now presents the founding fathers as engaging in "acts of terrorism," even as central government agents are teaching those who work for the DC cartel that those men were terrorists.

The letter also contained a statement from Finicum's daughter, Tierra, from a radio interview, in which she stated:
"The kind of narrative that is going through our country is that he [Finicum] was a domestic terrorist, gun slinging and violent man. That is not my dad. He is a principled man. He is a gentle and diligent person. I often think of Steven R. Covey; not because they were both bald but because they lived by true principles. 'Early to bed, early to rise.' He studied great works of literature. He studied the scriptures, word of God and he wanted to be on the right side of God at all times. He was my dad. I'm sure lots of girls say that their dad was the best man they know, but that is my dad, and I want to be just like him."

While I do take issue with Finicum's Mormon theology and believe it has some points that need serious correction, there is no doubt in my mind that the stand that he and the others took with regard to the usurpation of land in the west was not only constitutional, but was right biblically. It was right to all out the crimes of the central government and to oppose those who sought to steal others property and to incarcerate them unjustly. In doing so, he did lay down his life in the process.

The representatives then called upon the State of Oregon and the FBI to "uphold their legal responsibility to fully and transparently investigate this tragedy, and to quickly vindicate those who have been wrongly accused."
There's little chance that a government that has acted criminally will act justly in investigating themselves, but still there is hope that evidence, like that which Pete Santilli wants to bring to the forefront, will actually open the eyes of the American people to the point where they cries against tyranny will be so loud that the central government will be forced to back down. Let's pray that God would bring that to pass!

Documents have surfaced with staggering proof that the LeVoy Finicum shooting was guided by the dark light of the United Nations.
As more layers of the stinking onion keeps getting peeled away from the Malheur Reservation protest and the LeVoy Finicum murder\ federal cover-up, a new document has come into my possession that make 2 points clear, and I mean Crystal Clear: Constitution-loving Americans are the real enemy, and the United Nations propaganda campaign has been deadly effective.

Prelude to Murder
Let’s shift back to 2016 and further examine the incidents which occurred around the aforementioned Malheur Reservation protest, and all of the ancillary events that surrounded it; specifically, the murder of LeVoy Finicum.
On January 26, 2016, LaVoy Finicum, Ammon Bundy, Ryan Payne and a convoy of fellow protestors were heading to neighboring Grant County to meet with the Sheriff there, Glen Palmer.  Palmer was a vocal supporter of the Ammon Bundy led protest, and is a member of CSPOA.  As recorded by Shauna Payne’s mobile device, the convoy was ambushed by law enforcement and fired upon repeatedly.sadly, one of the rounds, a .308, penetrated Mr. Finicum’s heart and ended his life.  However, did La  SVoy Finicum need to die that day?  And, more importantly, when did Constitutionally-sworn officers decide to trash their oath and follow the United Nations?

Any time an officer discharges their weapons in the line of duty, there needs to be an “after-incident” report filed.  It may be known as something else where you live, but the premise is the same.  A law enforcement officer needs to explain why they discharged their weapon, in writing and/or an interview.  In the LaVoy Finicum murder, the same process was followed by the officers involved; and the subsequent report of said interviews have fallen into my possession.  I want to thank my good friend, Paul Preston of Agenda 21 Radio, for sharing the documents.
U.N. Hit Squads
Some of the officers involved in the LaVoy Finicum murder were called into the offices of the Oregon State Police on 31 Jan, 2016 for interviews.  I will include the link to the entire document below, but for purposes of this article I am going to include a brief excerpt to illustrate the outright treason spoken by “Officer 1.”  Officer 1 was asked if he had any information as to what kind of support, or how many supporters, that Ammon Bundy and friends had in the neighboring city of John Day.  The quote below is how he answered (seen on page 111 of the accompanying document):

“I KNEW GOING INTO IT THAT THERE WAS A SHERIFF IN GRANT COUNTY THAT WAS SUPPORTING THE MOVEMENT, OR THE IDEOLOGY BEHIND WHAT THEY WERE PUSHING. I KNEW THAT THERE WAS A LARGE AMOUNT OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN GRANT COUNTY THAT SUPPORTED THEIR BELIEFS, AND THAT HAD SIMILAR CONSTITUTIONAL BELIEFS, AND TO THE POINT OF THE GRANT COUNTY MAKING IT CLEAR THEY ARE A UN FREE ZONE, AND SO THAT KNOWLEDGE WAS KNOWN TO ALL OF US.”  (EMPHASIS ADDED BY ME)

4 FBI Agents May be Indicted in LaVoy Finicum Murder Coverup

At least two sources are confirming that a Grand Jury has been called to decide if there is enough evidence to indict four FBI HRT team members in the coverup of LaVoy Finicum, who was shot and killed on January 26, 2016 by Oregon State Police.

Guerilla Media Network received information 10 days ago that a Grand Jury had been called to decide if there was enough evidence concerning a coverup by “FBI HRT” Team Members on the ground in Burns Oregon, to formally charge them with a crime.  Members of HRT, (Hostage Rescue Team) have been accused of shooting at LaVoy Finicum as he exited his vehicle on January 26, 2016 with his hands in the air.

Legal sources in Portland told GMN that they were aware the Grand Jury had been convened but did not have information about an actual indictment, at the time the information was passed down to us. 


GMN went on to report that Bob Powell of The Truth is Viral stated that he confirmed with sources at the Justice Department that an indictment may soon come against the 4 agents involved in the coverup.
“In all there were 4 shots fired at Mr. Finicum by these rogue agents, before and after he exited his truck,” Powell said.
Finicum’s widow, Jeanette Finicum, also confirmed that she had heard about the convening of the Grand Jury as well. She has also filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Oregon State Police and called on American Patriots to stand against the growing tyranny of the central government.

“I’ll believe it – When I see it,” said Mrs. Finicum on Wednesday.
Though the Oregon State Police were apparently responsible for actually shooting Finicum to death, the FBI claimed to investigate several of their agents concerning failing to report that they fired shots at Finicum and his vehicle. They apparently disposed of the bullet casings as well.

Did the FBI Shoot LaVoy Finicum 9 Times and Plant a 9mm Semi-Automatic Handgun on Him?

The question should not surprise anyone who watched the video of the ambush and cold-blooded murder of LaVoy Finicum at the hands of the US government. However, let me caution that the information is highly suspect that follows. I have been completely unable to confirm whether or not a handgun was planted on Finicum's body or whether or not he was, in fact, shot 9 times. Yet, I think it appropriate to hold in check until it can be verified reports that are now going out concerning this information 

Only two sources are claiming the information about the shooting. The first comes from a Facebook post, which was not captured in a normal fashion. Instead of being shared or embedded or even screen captured, a camera picture of this post appeared.
Frankly, because there is no link, it is highly suspect. Yet, Barbara Davis claims:


Well, LaVoy's body is home now… I'm absolutely sickened, LaVoy was shot 9 times, there will be no open casket, the FBI shot him in the face… Right after it happened I put out a call for the serial # off the 9mm the FBI claims he had in his pocket. The Pacific Patriot Network just sent me an email, the 9mm came pack stolen 2 years ago. The FBI planted the gun on him. Serial #54119868.

I have been unable to verify any such email that released. However, a fellow contributor is friends with the daughter of LaVoy Finicum and is researching the issue to determine whether this is valid information or disinformation. After all, we want to make sure that a claim is valid and can document that. As we are able to do that, we will update this article. We do know is that Finicum was only seen with a rifle and a revolver.

We also know that after he was shot and lying in the snow that red dots were trained on his head and body from multiple sources. If they were willing to fire the first shot without any reason to do so, one can rightly assume that he was shot more than three times.One thing we do know for certain and that is that Blaine Cooper has claimed that Finicum left all his weapons back at the refuge and was unarmed when he was murdered. 

"When they left to go over to the other county, all of them left their weapons behind. As far as Ammon wasn't armed, LaVoy wasn't armed, all of LaVoys weapons were at the refuge when he left," Cooper said.
"The only reason he drove off was because he was being fired at so he drove off so he didn't get shot," Cooper added.  "There's two rounds in the top of his truck that they were able to photograph. That's why he drove off and tried to get around there because he was afraid they were going to kill him. And he was right."

New Video Proves that FBI Shooting of Protester in Oregon was Murder!

oped: after viewing this new video...and having spent over 15 years in combined Federal as well as local LE..this imo was a bad shooting...the FBI as well as the State Police were the aggressors/ initiated unjustified deadly force...the stop was bad as well as the roadblock of which very few LE agencies of today use, outdated (1970's) type of deadly road  block tactic, not giving the suspects enough time to respond ie: on a curve! There was no threat to the officers involved...as a matter of fact LaVoy at the first stop told the Oregon State police to follow him to his meeting with the Sheriff...they could talk there! View the video for yourselves...it is quite clear the Officers involved wanted to shoot someone.As it shows shooting at the truck after LaVoy was already down and no fire was coming from the occupants in the truck!

Shauna Cox and Victoria Sharp both were eyewitnesses who were riding in the truck that LaVoy Finicum was driving when he was shot and killed. I reported the Cox said that the FBI had her video recording of what took place and now that recording has been synced with the aerial footage that was released by the DOJ. There is audio and the video is quite disturbing. This has come out as one FBI agent is being investigated for not reporting two shots taken at Finicum as he exited the vehicle and four other agents are under investigation pertaining to that shooting.

The story the eyewitnesses told seems to add up as there are at least two shots that can be heard as Finicum exits the vehicle and several other shots that can be heard prior to them leaving the road and plowing into the snow bank, as well as several as they leave the stop.
Officers can be heard telling Finicum to get on the ground and he continually yells, "You're gonna have to shoot me." The video also clearly shows that his hands were up when the first shots were fired as he exited the vehicle and when the fatal shots were taken. Additionally, you can hear several shots hit the truck following the shooting of Finicum.
From all that can be seen and heard, it does not appear to me that any officer's life was in danger at any time. While Finicum does seem ornery, it does not appear that he made any threats and not getting on the ground is not a reason to kill a man in cold blood, who is not brandishing a weapon. There just is no justification for that, and if someone wants to do that, then they would need to do it for every citizen who carries concealed who shot someone without a weapon.

Additionally, Oregon Live is reporting that FBI agents are under investigation for possible misconduct in the shooting of Finicum.
An FBI agent is suspected of lying about firing twice at Robert "LaVoy" Finicum and may have gotten help from four other FBI agents in covering up afterward, authorities revealed Tuesday.

The bullets didn't hit Finicum and didn't contribute to his death, but now all five unnamed agents, part of an elite national unit, are under criminal investigation by the U.S. Justice Department. Inspector General Michael Horowitz is leading the independent inquiry.

The remarkable disclosure came as a team of local investigators released findings that two state troopers shot Finicum three times in the back during the chaotic scene at a police roadblock Jan. 26. One bullet pierced his heart, an autopsy showed. 


Did you get that? An FBI agent is the one who fired those first two shots as Finicum exited the vehicle? Why? Finicum was not a threat. The fact that shots were fired as Finicum exited the vehicle with his hands up is evidence that the ones who were hostile were those who were firing.
The FBI agent didn't report those two shots he fired and the FBI didn't indicate why four other agents were under investigation. Greg Bretzing, special agent in charge of the FBI in Portland said, "The question of who fired these shots has not been resolved."
How has it not be resolved? It's been over a month! All you have to do is account for whose weapon is short on ammunition. This is pretty simple math. Yet, we are to believe Mr. Bretzing is telling us the truth? I'm not buying it!
Additionally, note that Finicum was shot three times in the back! Friends, that is murder. There was no physical threat to any of the officers and that seems blatantly obvious on the video feed.

Yet, according to the Oregon Live, a prosecutor has ruled the shooting was legally justified and claims that state law allows the use of deadly force when officers believe a person is about to seriously injure or kill someone. However, the video shows no evidence of that. The claim now is that the officer in front of Finicum, who had a taser, was thought to be in danger and that's why officers behind him shot him.

That simply does not fly in the face of the fact that Finicum had his hands up.
I'm not so sure that we will get an honest report from the FBI or that any agents will be disciplined or brought to justice for what took place. After all, when you are investigating yourself, it does seem that there is a conflict of interest, doesn't it?

US Army Sergeant: LaVoy Finicum Murder Video Had Inconsistencies

US Army veteran Sgt. E-5 Allen Lardieri spoke out concerning the FBI release of the video of the murder of LaVoy Finicum. He used some technical terms, of course, but in his estimation, the video was not recorded according to anything that those who would have been engaged in, and he confirms that it was not drone footage, but was, in fact, a manned aerial vehicle.   

Lardieri says the system that recorded the murder of Finicum is known as an Orion ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) platform. He said he would never release where he gets that information from, but does go on to point out problems with the video and why those problems exist.

"It's extremely relevant to this," he added. "It is a side that is very unique that I don't think you or myself haven't heard."
Those who operate the vehicles and the cameras that obtain the video footage are known as ASOs (Aerial Surveillance Operators). Lardieri says that the field of operation is very limited concerning this kind of operation, military-occupational-specialty-wise.
According to Lardieri, an individual communicated to him some "inconsistencies" on the behalf of the operators of the vehicle that captured the video. However, the question is were this inconsistencies "operator error" or merely intentional maneuvers to "keep the video vague""?

Lardieri confirms that this particular platform is found "consistently on manned aerial vehicles, not drones." So, we discover that the footage is not from a drone, but there is a person operating the vehicle and the video capture on board.
The person that relayed to Lardieri that the Orion system was the one used in this operation said that he had viewed the same screen for 506 hours of combat.
In an exclusive interview with Sgt. Lardieri, he told Freedom Outpost that thermal imaging would have shown every shot fired and that had the pilot been flying at an altitude of 10,000 feet or higher would have rendered flawless video and given a better picture of what took place. 

He told us that according to a proper procedure, the quality of the video would have been at 96 megapixels, which would have allowed for determining people inside the vehicle. This, along with thermal imaging, would have shown not only the people inside, but also any and all gunfire that took place.   

However, the video footage was not shot using the standard thermal imaging that Sgt. Lardieri stated would be used.
According to Lardieri, the operator was knowingly engaging in a flight pattern at an altitude that would not provide the best video coverage or he was ignorant, which cannot be accounted for considering that this would be a basic operating procedure.
So, the only reason for the release of the video by the FBI is that it was meant to conceal the reality of what took place, and make things appear different than they really were. Those are my words, not Sft. Lardieri's.

Sgt. Lardieri told me that those who had their mind set that Finicum was some sort of terrorist will find validity to their mindset and those that believe the FBI were out to kill him still find their validitity as well, due to the poor quality of the video.
I'll leave it to the reader to determine whether or not the pilot was knowingly engaged in a coverup of what appears to be an FBI ambush of LaVoy Finicum and those with him, which resulted in his murder. Personally, I think we can conclude that if basic operation procedure was to operate at higher altitude and use thermal imaging, then we can conclude that this pilot was acting under the order of the Justice Department, under criminal Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who is under the direction of the criminal-in-chief Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah for the express purpose to put down those who dared to call the government in DC to account regarding the Constitution.

Recording of phone call by Oath Keepers to Lavoy Finicum, two days before his death, urging him and the Bundy brothers to make a “lateral, tactical move” to a constitutional sheriff’s county, to continue to spread the message of western land rights and organizing ranchers, under the protection of a strong sheriff, and warning him that all indicators pointed to the “the powers that be” being mere days away from shutting down their ability to spread that message, one way or another. 

On Sunday, January 24, 2016 (just two days before his death) Lavoy Finicum was a guest on Jason Van Tatenhove’s radio show (The Patriot Report)along with Stewart Rhodes, Founder and President of Oath Keepers.  On the show, they discussed how Lavoy and Ammon Bundy’s message of western ranchers resistance to federal tyranny had begun to “catch fire” and was spreading to other counties and other states, with an additional eight ranchers (including in Utah and New Mexico) stepping up to declare their “emancipation” and independence from the BLM and USFS.    They also discussed the great advantages to taking stands in counties that had strong constitutional sheriffs willing to interpose and protect the ranchers.  

After the show Stewart Rhodes, Idaho Oath Keeper Todd Engle (veteran of Bundy Ranch) and Jason Van Tatenhove called Lavoy on the phone and warned him that it was clear that the FBI and the state of Oregon had put in place all the personnel (approximately 400 officers) and equipment needed to shut the occupiers down, and that by our estimation that action was imminent (within two to three days, tops).   We urged him to consider making a tactical lateral move to a county with a strong constitutional sheriff, so that they could continue to spread the “brushfire” of liberty in the minds of other ranchers.
Jason had set his Skype account to record the show, but we didn’t realize at the time that it was still recording when we made the phone call to LaVoy after the show.

NOTE FROM STEWART RHODES:
Some critical background – Todd Engle (an Idaho Oath Keepers leader and veteran of Bundy Ranch), along with an Oath Keeper with extensive military special operations experience (who prefers to remain anonymous), had traveled to Burns, OR, conducted an assessment of the federal/Oregon State Police strength and preparations, and then visited the refuge on Saturday, January 23, 2016 and sat down with Ammon Bundy and his bodyguard Brian Cavalier (“Booda”).
They warned Ammon and Booda that all  the assets were in place for a federal cordon or raid, and that they estimated that within a few days (2-3) the FBI would make a move to shut them down, one way or another.   They told Ammon that his tactical situation was FUBAR and the feds were not going to let Ammon and cohorts continue to come and go freely, or communicate freely, to spread their message.    They strongly warned Ammon that he had reached the point of serious diminishing returns, and it was time to leave, while he still could.
They informed Ammon that, at a minimum, the FBI would put a cordon in place, block all ingress and egress (no more speaking events or meetings with other ranchers) and then kill all cell reception, internet, etc and prevent them from being able to communicate with anyone except the FBI negotiators.  Therefore, they urged Ammon and his crew to leave and continue to spread their message from a better location.   We were waiting to see some indicator that they had taken the advice to heart.

The next day, on Sunday, January 24, 2016, I was on Jason’s show with LaVoy, and LaVoy and I discussed how their message was spreading like wildfire throughout the West, and how the very best way to go when resisting federal oppression of ranchers is to have a strong constitutional sheriff to back up and protect the ranchers, with a united community serving as his posse.   He agreed that this was ideal.
After the show,  I asked Jason to call LaVoy, and I asked Todd to join us, so we could make sure LaVoy got the same information that Ammon had gotten the day before, and to encourage him to make a move to that strongest position possible –  a county with a constitutional sheriff, with ranchers ready to stand, where they could continue to spread their message, educating and organizing ranchers, but now under the protection of a strong sheriff who would also protect the ranchers who were declaring independence from federal tyranny and lawlessness.
We discussed some strong Utah sheriffs as possibilities (not realizing they had already scheduled a meeting with Sheriff Glenn Palmer of Grant County, OR, apparently with a mind to spread the message and methods to Grant County, but not to actually relocate there).  LaVoy told us he recognized the wisdom in what we were saying and that he would talk to Ammon and Ryan Bundy about it.
Unfortunately, they decided against following our advice, as was made clear in the video LaVoy made the next day, Jan 25, declaring that they were not leaving, and that the federal government was never getting those buildings back:

As LaVoy himself noted, they were out in the middle of nowhere, and were focused on education, so why the rapidly escalating threat of force?  Well, clearly the powers that be felt threatened by their message, with the two Oregon U.S. Senators later admitting that they considered the Bundy/Finicum message to be a “virus” that was spreading, and bragging that they had spoken directly with Valerie Jarrett (the “power behind the throne” in the White House and real decision maker/handler of Obama), and the FBI Director about the urgent need to shut that message down.
There was no physical threat to the community, and no real emergency, with Ammon and crew having traveled peaceably back and forth to multiple public events and meetings.  But clearly there Was a POLITICAL emergency and the regime felt threatened by their ideals.  And the Oregon Governor also stamped her feet and demanded immediate action to stop them (and remember, she commands the Oregon State Police).   LaVoy’s blood is on their hands, for that is the reason for the “felony stop” and deadly barricade used to shut that “virus” of truth down.

LaVoy Finicum Shooting Video Released!

The video has been released in the shooting of LaVoy Finicum.  The angle is a helicopter shot and shows Finicum driving his truck into a snow embankment. 

However, what takes place does happen different that several stories that have been conveyed.
He was not charging the officers as Mark McConnell claimed nor was he handcuffed, so his story is bogus.  Many, including myself didn’t think what he said sounded right.

He also was not down on his knees with his hands behind his head as relayed by the wife of Ammon Bundy.
However, he clearly had his hands in the air when he exited the vehicle.
You will notice that at several points he does drop his hands.  Because there is no sound, it is difficult to tell if he was responding to being shot or whether he was reaching for a sidearm.
One officer approaching from behind seems to shoot him in the back at the 0:24 second mark, as other officers are there as well.  You can clearly see the snipers in the trees as well, which was relayed by Victoria Sharp.  However, the video doesn’t seem to capture any of the shooting into the vehicle that she claimed took place, though it is hard to tell.  At least, I can’t see it, though that could have happened during the time when the truck took off or after Finicum was gunned down. Without sound, it is impossible to determine when shots were fired or what commands Finicum was responding to.

Additionally, one should note that there was no attempt made by the officers to provide any sort of medical assistance to Finicum.
I’ll let the viewers determine whether they believe the shooting was justified or not.  At this point, we need other angles to determine whether or not Finicum was responding to being shot or whether he was actually going for a gun.

What I find interesting is that the time stamp on the video is dated January 27, the day after Finicum was killed, and the time is after midnight. Has the video been altered? Why are sections blurred? Was this some sort of re-creation? Why is there only one woman exiting the truck? There were two inside.
The FBI's statement on the video reads:

This is the complete video footage of a joint FBI and Oregon State Police traffic stop and OSP officer-involved shooting of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum on the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. This footage, which has only been edited to blur out aircraft information, was taken by the FBI on 01/26/2016 and released by the FBI on 01/28/2016.

 

Perhaps they can explain why they took the video on 01-26-2016 and the video time stamp is 01-27-2016.
I'm sure we're going to have more questions the more the video is examined.

UPDATE: The time used in the video has been accounted for. The time setting on all military drones are for Greenwich Mean Time (ZULU), which is London UK time. That is eight hours ahead of Oregon time, so the time has been determined to be correct. (Thanks Joe!)

oped: It states aircraft information edited out only... taken by the FBI...it states nothing about being a military drone...the FBI as well as state LE use helicopters and fixed wing aircraft (piloted)...why would a military drone be used? Something is just not right about this!

Today we a bury one of our best...A true friend and  hero to the cause of Liberty. A family man, loving husband, father, friend, mentor, man of faith, a true American Patriot. Why is it always the best among us that seem to be taken from us first?

A reader recently wrote to me the following question:

“During the initial stop for several minutes what transpired? No one approached the vehicle. Were words exchanged? The occupants of the white truck waited around. What for? Were they waiting for the LEO’s to approach? After a considerable amount of time, the white truck occupants were probably wondering WTH was going on”. 

This exclusive eyewitness interview with Shawna Cox will answer all of these questions and more.
On Sunday evening, January 31, 2016, I interviewed Shawna Cox on The Common Sense Show. Her conversation with me was filled with exuberance, the same kind of exuberance that one would experience from a traumatic “fight or flight” experience.
After being shot at over 100 times, and lucky to be alive, Shawna was taken into custody. Shawna addresses the question posed and listed above, as she revealed to my audience some very detailed information which is also confirmed from the public accounts of 18 year old Victoria Sharp.

This may be Shawna Cox’s final interview to the media. During the course of the 30 minute interview, she told me she fully expected to be the victim of a gag order issued by a federal judge when she appears in court on Monday to face federal charges of impeding federal officers.
Shawna Cox, working through the health reporter of The Common Sense Show, Katy Whelan, reached out to me on Saturday evening. The interview, itself, was primarily about the harrowing events on January 26th in which LaVoy Finicum was executed by the FBI.

The Purpose of the Trip

Ammon Bundy and his companions were on their way to meet with the Sheriff from nearby John Day and commingle with local ranchers who stood in support of their cause. Music and festivities were also the order of the day. This is why 18-year-old singer, Victoria Sharp, was accompanying the party as they tried to make their way to John Day.

First Encounter

As the two cars, comprising the caravan, were making their way to John Day. they were pulled over at the first roadblock. At first, neither side did anything in what could be described as a silent stand-off. The occupants of the vehicles were not given any instructions (e.g. to exit the vehicle, etc.). Finally, in an attempt to show peaceful intent, Ryan Payne put both hands out of the truck through the open window, to show he was not armed, and he was promptly shot at with the bullet striking metal of the truck between the window and the mirror.

DAVE HODGES QUESTION: DID FEDERAL AUTHORITIES EVER GIVE THE OCCUPANTS OF THE TRUCKS A CHANCE TO SURRENDER AT THE FIRST ROADBLOCK? DID THEY ISSUE INSTRUCTIONS THROUGH THEIR PA?
SHAWNA COX ANSWER: NO! THEY JUST OPENED FIRE ON US AS WE SAT THERE. THEY NEVER GAVE US THE CHANCE TO SURRENDER. 

A Fateful Decision

At that point, the driver of the first vehicle, Lavoy Finicum made a fateful decision to escape the gunfire and reach the protection of the Sheriff waiting for them at John Day.
As Finicum sped away, federal authorities were in pursuit. Very quickly, they came upon a second roadblock. Cox stated that it was at that point that Payne begged Finicum to pull over and he kept saying that we have to reach the Sheriff.

The Second Roadblock

Upon reaching the second roadblock, Finicum attempted to swerve to the side of the road and the truck was stuck in a snowbank.

According to Cox, Finicum exited the vehicle with his hands up and said:
“We have women in the car don’t shoot!:
According to Cox, and her account is backed up by Victoria Sharp, Finicum had his hands in the air as he faced the FBI agents who were stationed in the trees and said:

“We are going to the Sheriff….well, just go ahead and shoot me.” This was all said with his hands in the air. Finicum (was) immediately shot upon exiting the car, several times, and was, again, shot at repeatedly while he lie in the snow dying. 

Attempted Second Degree Murder of the Occupants in the Truck

Immediately, the occupants had red lasers on their bodies as the scurried for cover in the truck. Immediately after Finicum was killed, the truck came under fire. No orders were issued to the occupants, and as it was at the first roadblock, firing bullets at the occupants of the truck was the first order of the day.
Cox believes that the vehicle was struck at least one hundred times. Both women were hysterically screaming to “please stop shooting”  as the two women were begging for their lives.

This entire event, complete with two roadblocks, unprovoked gunfire and FBI agents in the trees could only be described as an “old west ambush”.
With no movement in the truck, and after firing over 100 rounds, the FBI finally issued its first order to surrender. They ordered the male occupants out of the vehicle, followed by the females.

The Arrests

I have had multiple law enforcement personnel write to me and express shock and horror that the FBI never attempted to check on the status of Finicum.
Victoria Sharp was not charged and arrested and was dumped at a Safeway parking lot with no money and only the clothes on her back. Shawna Cox was charged with impeding federal officers (I am still scratching my head on this one trying to make sense of the charge.
As a footnote, and as a precondition of her release, Shawna Cox was ordered to have all guns at her Utah home removed. After the guns were removed, her son-in-law, sitting in close proximity to the guns was suddenly and mysteriously caught in a fire in which all the guns and ammunition went up in smoke. Shawna’s son-in-law was killed in the event.

Conclusion

Please consider the fact that Victoria Sharp is an 18 year old kid who was not even part of the dispute. She was there to musically perform in John Day and the FBI attempted to murder this girl without so much as an opportunity to surrender peacefully.
What did these seven occupants do to warrant a “shoot first order”? They did nothing, but they were never given the opportunity to surrender before being fired upon, on two different occasions. And as Shawna Cox put it “Lavoy was murdered in cold blood by the FBI, he had his hands in the air until he was shot”.
Shawna added, as a footnote, that when the last man was taken into custody, they were asked if there were any others left in the truck. They responded that they were the last. The FBI promptly proceeded to fire over 100 more rounds into the vehicle after the vehicle was vacated.

Is this the kind of country that you want to live in? Steve Quayle was correct when he said on my show, regarding his new book, that the Nazi’s won the war and it can be accurately stated that the Lavoy Finicum was murdered by the American version of the Gestapo.

Did Valerie Jarrett Order the Hit on LaVoy Finicum?

As we are digging further into the murder of LaVoy Finicum and the ambush of the protestors from the Oregon refuge and their subsequent arrest, we are finding very disturbing information. On Thursday's Northwest Liberty News radio show, a bombshell from documents Jim White and I obtained indicates that the entire operation of January 26, 2016 goes up not only to Oregon Governor Kate Brown's office, but even to the White House. Because of the language that was used in the documents by the officers, we speculated along with Red Smith of ShastaLantern.com and Paul Preston of Agenda21radio.com that the White House orchestrated the entire thing and that when it comes to calling the shots, we don't look to Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah, but rather to Obama's mama, Valerie Jarrett.

First, let me remind you that there are over 600 emails and texts that indicate the Governor Brown was in the loop on everything that was going on in Oregon during the protest at the Malheur Refuge, including some emails and texts that were directly from her. Second, due to newly released documents, we know that at least one Oregon State Trooper specifically acknowledged that the county to which the protesters were traveling on the day of LaVoy Finicum's murder was a well-known "UN free zone." The officer made the statement as though it was common knowledge, so does that mean that Harney County is not a "UN free zone"?
However, in those same documents, we have run across even more chilling and telling statements concerning where the command for the roadblock and the ambush came from.
If you pick up the radio show at the 7:00 mark here, then you will hear Red Smith detail what is in the documents.

In the deposition of another officer, he acknowledged that the authorization for the operation that led to the murder of LaVoy Finicum came from the "highest levels of national command authority."
Now, national command authority in the united States applies to the President and the Secretary of Defense. Smith said he has only heard "national command authority" used in military terms. Keep in the back of your mind that our military has been given propaganda against such Americans as those that gathered at Bundy Ranch in 2014 and those that protested the unconstitutional land grab of the DC government and the Bureau of Land Management.

So, why was there a command coming from the White House regarding a small protest in Oregon? Furthermore, who actually issued that command? It has been said that Iranian-born Valerie Jarrett has been Obama's closest adviser and the she was the one who talked Obama out of the alleged Osama bin Laden hit and later was the one that gave the stand down order in Benghazi. Could she be the one who issued the order for this particular action?
Jarrett is the one that told America that after the 2012 elections, the gloves would come off, and they have.
If the officer's deposition was not enough, among the emails that came from Governor Brown's office, she also made reference her own discussions with "national command authority." Guess who that turned out to be? None other than Valerie Jarrett.

I encourage you to listen to the show as more information was revealed that really is like LaVoy Finicum's widow described as "shocking to the conscience," along with the fact that we reported that John Ritzheimer, who was one of the protestors that was arrested, was finally released on Thursday. The word we are getting, and this came out in the radio show, is that when these people were arrested, they had no idea what to charge them with.
Friends the DC government is out of control. They are criminal, and we don't just need another investigation that doesn't go anywhere like we've had with the IRS, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, Extortion 17 and an array of other scandals, we need some justice brought on the heads of these people, and we need it now!

The deadly January police shooting of the spokesman for an armed militia that had occupied an Oregon wildlife refuge was justified, officials said Tuesday; however, the actions of FBI agents during the incident remain under review.

Oregon State Police fired six of eight total shots during a Jan. 26 traffic stop that resulted in the death of rancher Robert “LaVoy” Finicum, authorities said. The first three shots were fired at the truck Finicum was driving as it approached an FBI roadblock, and none of those shots struck Finicum or the other occupants of the truck. The final three shots fired by police were the fatal ones, all of which struck Finicum in the torso after he had left the truck and appeared to be reaching into his jacket near the area of a gun.

“Of the eight shots fired, the six shots fired by the Oregon State Police were justified, and, in fact, necessary,” Malheur County District Attorney Dan Norris said.
Two other shots – neither of which hit Finicum – were fired by FBI Hostage Rescue Team agents. Those agents, however, allegedly did not disclose their role in the incident during the subsequent investigation. They are currently the subject of an ongoing investigation by the inspector general of the U.S. Department of Justice and Deschutes County.
Officials at Tuesday’s news conference played synched videos of the encounter, one taken by an occupant of Finicum’s truck and the other recorded by an official aerial vehicle, which showed the final, anxious moments of Finicum’s life.
Finicum and other members of the militia had been on their way to a public meeting Jan. 26 when Oregon State Police pulled the group’s two trucks over, intent on arresting several members for the illegal occupation. The occupants of one of the vehicles, including the militia’s leader, Ammon Bundy, complied. Finicum and two other people in his truck did not.

At one point, Finicum can be seen and heard leaning out the driver side window yelling, “You can go ahead and shoot me” and “Okay boys, this is gonna get real. You want blood on your hands?”
Eventually, Finicum takes off from the traffic stop, driving at a reported 70 mph as he approaches a roadblock set up a little more than a mile from the initial stop. Finicum yells “hold on” as he tries to veer into the snow and steer around the roadblock, nearly hitting a police officer in the process. But Finicum ultimately crashes into a 3-foot high snowbank and the truck comes to a stop.
“Under Oregon law, Mr. Finicum was using his truck as a dangerous weapon,” Norris said.

OPED:
(Wrong the roadblock used by OSP and FBI is old school dangerous 1970's era not used anymore by majority of LE...set up on a curve and blocking 100% of the road...Finicum did not have time to slow down and stop...swerved to avoid a accident and incoming fire from FBI/OSP agents...also no LE Academy teaches shooting at a fleeing suspect...no threat..not since the 1970's has shooting a fleeing felon been taught/authorized...unless the felon is brandishing a weapon and or has shot at LE first #Period )

Finicum then exited the vehicle, ignoring three commands by police to lie down on the ground. Though Finicum has his hands out for most of the brief encounter, he reached with his right hand toward his left jacket pocket three times. Police later found a 9-mm. handgun in that pocket. Officers had also been told to expect that Finicum would be armed with a pistol.

oped: Just for the record Finicum was known to carry a revolver in a holster *OpenCarry*...well  documented...was a OSP statement that a 9mm auto found in his pocket his or a plant? Fingerprints on weapon ? At any rate if the alleged weapon was not pulled from concealment and brandished it is not a justified shooting...no threat present...under the DA's' rationalization' anyone known to have a CCW permit can be shot by police because ...they *maybe* could pose a threat! #BustedLogic

The first two times Finicum reached near his jacket officers held their fire. But the third time, two officers fired the shots that killed him. At the time, an Oregon trooper was attempting to get near enough to Finicum to use a Taser to apprehend him by non-lethal means.
“[The cops] believed he was reaching for a handgun and believed he was about to use deadly force against them of the trooper armed with a Taser,” Deschutes County Sheriff Shane Nelson said.
